Dewy, Springy Vibe
I’m baaaaack! After a long hiatus due to health reasons, I finally feel healthy enough to actually do my makeup! Hooray! I had some fun with the NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Peak which is such a great palette. I also cheated and used bareMinerals - Gen Nude Eyeshadow Palette in “Soul” in my crease. Both of these shadow palettes are fantastic and very easy to work with/blend. The color payoff is great as well, especially the Natasha Denona shadows. I’ll be posting another look soon with the bareMinerals palette so you can get more of an idea of how gorgeous this collection is, so stay tuned. I’m still loving Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid because no matter how dull and dry my skin is looking, this serum can bring me back from dead-looking to hydrated and bright. I’m off to get vaccinated! Wish me luck 💕
Feeling ill?? Slap some makeup on!
I apologize for the sparse posts. Mama has been feeling under the weather with some serious health issues. Instead of wallowing in bed all day, I decided to play with my NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Peak. These colors are to die for, and they have quite a bit of versatility once you start playing around with them. And that blending power? *chef’s kiss* Also, I just started using Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . I’ll be the first to tell you that I HATE waterproof mascara because I find it to be too abrasive, but this product gives you incredible volume and actually comes off with my regular cleanser!
Feelin’ Cool and Iridescent
I finally used my ABH X Carli Bybel Palette! I love this eyeshadow palette. It is so unique and the formula is amazing. I believe this palette is on sale right now at the Anastasia official site. Check out my page if you would like to see a tutorial on this cool-toned and iridescent eyeshadow look. I have more details in that post as well. Francesca 💋

Bronze look w/ ABH Soft Glam
Another look on this versatile palette. I used orange soda as a transition shade, layered burnt orange on top of that, rustic on outer lid, layered with mulberry and Cyprus umber. Bronze on the mid lid and glistening on the inner lid. Glistening on the brow bone and inner corner. This is my first time trying the half crease cut method so it’s a bit messy. I’m still practicing 🤪 Thanks for looking!
ANASTASIA Beverly Hills-Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
She’s Soft Glam
I used Colourpop’s “She’s soft glam” set to create this look. It is pretty much a set of 2 Colourpop eyeshadows. One is “nude mood” and one is “blush crush”. Both eyeshadows can be purchased separately for 14 USD each and the set is 24 USD. You save $4 dollars if you purchase both. Check out my page if you’re interested in seeingthe tutorial on this look. I also have more details on that post regarding which eyeshadows I used. Thank you so much for looking 😜😊 Francesca 💋

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.2 DAYS AGO
