Gel Nail Strips are supposed to be easier?
On my last Ulta trip I picked up these DASHING DIVA - DASHING DIVA Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Strips thinking they would be an easy way to dress up my short square nails. Just like other gel strips you are supposed to shape your nails, buff and clean them, apply the strip, fold over the free edge and then file it off. According to the Dashing Diva website they are supposed to be fast to apply and can last up to 14 days. Not for me! First of all none of them fit quite right. So for a seamless look I would have had to trim most of not all of them before application. They were all really long making it hard to just fold over and file. I had to trim the length before filing and they just stuck to everything. Now that they are trimmed and filed I can see that there is NO way they will last even a full week. I buffed and cleaned my nails like directed but the edges don’t stick down well. Using a quick dry polish would have been much faster and easier. The design are pretty though 🤷♀️

Feeling Blue Nails
These nails are so pretty and fun! I love the color pattern. These give you a fun and sassy feel. I love the length to show off the beautiful colors and the jewels. These nails last a long time. I applied a clear gel on top and these nails stayed for about 2 weeks.
Twilight 🌙 Orosa polishes have very short brushes that I found a little off-putting at first, but I was happy to discover that they give you really good control over the polish. Twilight is a dusty medium blue (with a touch of purple!) that has a great two coat formula. It definitely changes depending on the lighting and can look dustier/lighter than my photo.
