Night Owl must have: eye patches 🦉
One thing everyone in real life knows about me is I don’t get sleep. Whether it’s staying up all night (once upon a time my bed time was 5 am - 12 pm. Oof) or just physically not being able to fall asleep it can still take a toll on your skin. When asleep our skin takes the time to properly repair itself. When you don’t get enough sleep it can have negative effects like depleting the moisture levels in your skin giving it a dull look. One thing I like to do to help combat that is eye patches. Eye patches have long been a favorite spa night product for me but recently I realize how much they can help in the morning while I was getting ready. For me they add a cooling effect to the skin which can help depuff the under eyes before make up application. I also really like them because most have glycerin which will help add that hydration back into the delicate under eye area that wasn’t replenished throughout the night. The ones pictured above all include caffeine which helps the look of puffy eyes, soothes, and has antioxidant properties. Also, I love using them as shadow shields for make up fall out. It’s so easy to pop them on while I’m doing my eyeshadow. It multitasks by saving me time in the morning while depuffing and protecting my skin from eyeshadow fallout. (For reference I usually do my eyeshadow before I do my base. I wouldn’t recommend doing this on top of foundation). My absolute favorite are the PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber Hydra-Gel Eye Masks 60 Masks

What’s In My Fridge? ❄️
Here’s a look at what I have in my fridges these days - yes, I have two because I really enjoy chilled skincare that much! A lot of people ask if there are actual skincare benefits for storing your skincare in a fridge, or if it helps preserve the shelf life of your skincare products - It is simply for aesthetic purposes. I enjoy the cooling, soothing sensation it enhances; it adds to the experience when I am applying my skincare routine. In fact, I have read blogs where dermatologists discuss how it is not necessary to store skincare in a fridge as it does not make the products any more effective than they already are. As for extending or preserving shelf life, research has shown that only a slight extension of shelf life would occur with certain ingredients like retinol, but nothing to make you stop what you’re doing & splurge if you don’t have the extra funds available. I don’t know if it’s just in my head, but I do see a difference with treating puffiness & redness when using a chilled product vs room temperature. 💙 I store a lot of my Drunk Elephant staples that I enjoy chilled, a few other moisturizers / serums & eye creams that I like chilled as well. Eye creams & eye patches are my favorite chilled as it really helps with de-puffing the eye area, especially in the morning! Let me know down below what you have in your skincare fridge! ❄️

I am always in the market for a good quality under eye patch that hydrated and depuffs. Sometimes my eyes get dry and puffy after a poor night of sleep and then I use these. They hydrate my under eye and greatly reduce any swelling. They have a jelly like texture and are a thicker rubber feeling. I use them twice a week on average and these come with thirty sets. I have been using these for three weeks and still love them. Their price point of $52 is a little bit high but I really do like them. If you’re someone who enjoys eye patches like me these are a great option and five star quality. PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber Hydra-Gel Eye Masks 60 Masks

Help my eyes!!!
I feel like I’ve tried a dozen products and cult favorites and nothing seems to help my dark circles and fine lines under my eyes! I pretty consistently use pixi - DetoxifEYEbut don’t see much impact from them. I’ve used caffeine THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Creamfor months, no real results. I’ve tried pixi - Collagen Eye Serum, just okay. I delved into cult favorites and tried OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crèmeand feel like it doesn’t do anything for me at all. I finally splurged and bought GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask— $42 for a pretty tiny jar means it has to be good, right?? After about a month...still no improvement. What are your favorite eye products for my concerns??
I have very sensitive skin, too sun, makeup, face wash, moisturizer, sunscreen., you name it! But here are some products that work for my skin. I’ve never had a horrible issue with my skin *knock on wood* but I did got through a few years of acne and flakiness on my skin. Off and on now I’ll get occasional breakouts but they will go away if I tend my skin correctly. Morning routine• Avène - Tolérance Extrême Cleansing Lotion I wet my face and then apply this cream and wipe away access with a cotton pad. Glossier. - Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum This product I have good times with and some bad, but overall it doesn’t irritate my skin and I don’t apply it where I have small scarring because it seems to clog the area. ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff This one is a bit pricey but definitely worth it! The only eye cream I’ve used that actually works with brightening. I have extremely dark circles and this helps with it. Now I know I’m going to get attacked for not using a sunscreen but I haven’t found one yet that works. I’ve tried sooo many, ones directed toward sensitive skin and all have broke me out or triggered eczema. If you have suggestions let me know! ••••••••••••••• Nighttime routine• Simple - Micellar Cleansing Water I use this with a cotton pad all around my face and then follow with the Avène - Tolérance Extrême Cleansing Lotion Glossier. - Super Glow Vitamin C + Magnesium Serum this again and I’m finished! 🧡🧡☀️ Extra tlc for my skin! AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay this mixed apple cider vinegar became my best friend, I started this about two years ago and it has helped me so much. It can cause irritation but it doesn’t last very long, right after using I apply a generous amount of moisturizer. pixi - DetoxifEYE I will occasionally use these if I’m getting glammed up somewhere and they make such a difference!! •••••••••
NO SLEEP?HUNGOVER? TRY THESE TIPS!
Looking a lil sleep deprived? Partied too hard last night? Eye bags coming in hot?!?! TRY THESE TIPS AND PRODUCTS! So it’s the next morning or afternoon..lol what do you do? ① WASH YA FACE! Hopefully you washed your makeup off from the night before. Everyone’s skin is different, some of us just need a splash of water and some of us need an actual cleanser. Use cold water to help wake your skin up. ② EYEBAGS BE GONE! Let’s focus on what we all notice first when we’re not as rested, our dark circles and under eyes bags. Eye patches work great for multi-tasking while you get ready. My personal favorite is from Good Molecules. GOOD MOLECULES - Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches Eye patches are one of the best ways to make you look like you actual got some ZZZ’s. This will plump up your skin and add to a more rested look. ⑤ ICE ICE BABY FACIAL ROLLER. If you’re into it or even up for it.. keep a facial roller in the fridge or freezer and when it’s ice cold, roll it over your face to further wake up your skin with the cool feeling and even boost circulation even more. ⑥ YOU DO YOU.. MAKEUP. Lightly add some concealer where you need it or like it. Add some blush and mascara and TADA. You now look like you actually had a full nights rest ;) now of course you can do your makeup which ever way you please, but that is my sleepy/lazy girl go to application. Let me know what other tips you have in the comments!
GOOD MOLECULES-Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches
Eye bags begone ☕️
Good Molecules gifted me a pack of their GOOD MOLECULES - Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches and I love these! I’m a big fan of eye patches in general, specially hydrogel patches because they’re so refreshing and cooling. I don’t have the best sleep schedule which results in me constantly waking up to dark circles and puffy under eyes. I love these because they seriously work in minutes leaving my under eyes looking like I actually slept the recommended 8 hrs a night. They contain 1% caffeine that helps energize and reduce puffiness around the eyes and aloe vera to hydrate and plump! Aloe is one of my favorite skincare ingredients thanks to its hydrating properties ☺️ Only con is you reaaally have to pat in any remaining product or else they leave a sticky feeling but it’s nothing too bad. At only $18 for 60 patches I think these are a great choice too, plus they’re dye and scent-free so safe for sensitive skin and eyes!

Good Molecules Caffeine Eye Patches Review
Happy Monday! A new week has begun! And I’m extra nervous because of my test this Saturday 😆 but let’s hope the week leading up to Saturday is good 😅 I have been gifted these @goodmolecules caffeine energizing hydrogel eye patches. I have been using these and honestly these are something that I needed without even knowing I needed it lol 😂. Balancing work and studying is hard and my eye bags started storing up with all the stress. ALL the stress. These have been so lovely at taming those bags! These are hydrogel patches that are soaked in serum and feels so cooling under my eyes. They contain 1% caffeine to help energize and reduce puffiness, licorice extract, and peptides. I have been using these before makeup and I do feel like my under eyes feel much more depuffed and well hydrated for makeup. So far all the products I have tried from this brand really has impressed me. I cannot wait to see the next thing they release 🤩. Eye Mask to de puff !
pixi - DetoxifEYE These Pixi Eye Gels are my favorite eye gels and the only ones I use! They de puff so well. So first the texture, they are a really nice thin consistency. They stay on the eyes really easily without sliding as well. They feel really cooling on the skin too, if you put them in the fridge you get an extra cooling feeing too. Leave them on for about 20min in the morning or the evening. Next the results. This leaves my under eyes noticeably less puffy. They have less inflammation from the morning and night time and I can use less concealer due to this as well. It also leaves my under eyes very hydrated for hours as well. This also can double as catching eye shadow fallout when doing makeup in the morning as well! You can get these for $24 at Target or Pixis website. To be honest they are no really under $20 eye gels on the market so I think this great if your on a mid range budget and can splurge. It also comes with quit a few so the last a while! I would definitely recommend these because they are effective and feel so cooling on my skin!
how to look 20 when 50
this eye mask had retinol in it, we’ll known to help anti age. it hydrates very well and blends into the skin nicely. i use this a night maybe twice a week, or when i run out of eye cream it also can play that role. if you have dry under eyes, this product is perfect for you. however, if you are looking for an eye product for dark circles, this will not do that job. if you want a eye cream for dark cirlces, i would recommend the cheer up brightening vitamin c eye cream by pharmacy. but if you want an anti aging, hydrating, and glowing eye mask/ cream, this is perfect for you! Cucumber Detox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches – ($52/60 Pads-30 treatments) What it is: A set of cooling, cucumber-infused eye contour hydra-gel patches that reduce the look of dryness, puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. For: All Skin Types. Skincare Concerns: Puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles, and dark circles. Texture/Consistency: Lightweight hydra-gel patches. My Experience: I started using them since the summer and I really like them. To be honest, I feel weird wearing eye patches because I have to stay still when I wear them, but these have been an absolute dream. They have a really nice thin consistency and they do stay in place. They have a nice cooling effect which makes them perfect for the summer or if you live in a humid/hot climate. I do try to keep them in the fridge for the extra cooling sensation. It contains cucumber extract to help naturally detoxify, nourish, hydrate, and de-puff the look of skin; chamomile and aloe to soothe and calm the skin's appearance; niacinide to help improve the look of skin tone and texture; hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and hydrolyzed collagen to deliver rich hydration; and caffeine and arnica to help diminish the appearance of dark circles. They are comfortable, hydrating and super easy to apply. They help to hydrate the delicate eye area and reduce the look of puffiness. But that is it! If money is not a concern for you, I definitely recommend them for what they are, an eye mask! Cherie Rating: 5/5 PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber De-Tox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches
