Here is Your Daily Reminder to Wear Sunscreen ☀️
Mallory
Sunscreen is THE most important step in any skincare routine. It’s also the step most people are lacking in their routine. Not only does sunscreen protect you from getting a sun burn but 90% of aging is caused by UVA/UVB rays. It reduces your risk of developing skin cancer and reduces the appearance of sun damage like discoloration and dark spots.
My favorite sunscreen at the moment is the SOLARA SUNCARE - Time Traveler Ageless Daily Face Sunscreen (Unscented)
Creams for oily skin
Face creams for clogged pores
Scar creams
Sun damage face cream & gels
Zinc oxide sun care products

Product Mentioned
Desert Island Products!
These are my desert island products!!!
If I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring 4 things, these are what I would bring:
DRUNK ELEPHANT - E-Rase Milki Micellar Water
If I were stranded I would want this so I could still cleanse my face despite being without clean water 😂
Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence
I would bring this because it is so hydrating and if I were stuck in the sun all day I would definitely want to keep my skin hydrated!
PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum
I literally just cannot live without this product plus it has hyaluronic acid and peptides which will hydrate and help prevent aging
KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32
Lastly, you cannot be stranded on a desert island without sunscreen!!! And this is such an amazing sunscreen, it is hydrating, no white cast, but is a physical sunscreen!

Sunscreen Steal!
Okay yall, I got this at TJ Maxx for $16! Don’t worry, I checked the expiration date and all that good stuff.
So, here is my honest review:
BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Mineral SPF 45
I know biossance released a new SPF in place of this one that gets much better reviews. This, however, was not a bad find for $16. Slight white cast but not too bad and it was really hydrating! It’s definitely something I will keep with me in my gym bag for when I’m out and about but it won’t be my go to since I also just got the KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 and it’s my favorite spf ever.

Need Skincare Advice! 🙏🏻
I currently have a problem with dry skin. I don’t ever remember having it, but I am 31 and I guess things change as you age?
My skincare routine is as follows:
AM -
• Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser
• The Ordinary Buffet
• The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid + B5
• The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
• Lancome Aquadefense Gel SPF 50
PM -
• Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Calming
• The Ordinary Buffet
• The Ordinary Hylauronic Acid + B5
• The Ordinary Natural Mositurizing Factors + HA
• The Ordinary 100% Marula Oil
I recently started this skincare regimen and I am noticing that my skin is feeling rough, as opposed to helping. I’ve never had this problem before... does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you!

🌞My all-time sunscreen — LANCOME UV EXPERT AQUA GRL SPF 50++++
As corny as this sounds, I genuinely look forward to the launch of new sunscreens every summer. Surely, I have the all-time faves that I always reach for when I’m in a pinch (lookin’ at you Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream SPF 30), but there’s something about testing a new formula that gets me excited. The latest one to make its way into my vanity, thanks to a complimentary sample from the brand, was the Lancôme UV Expert Aquagel Sunscreen with SPF 50. LANCÔME - UV Expert Aquagel Defense Primer & Moisturizer SPF 50 The sunscreen claims to double as a makeup primer and moisturizer — the dream multitasking combo for every beauty lover. I put the luxe sunscreen to the test to see if it’s worth incorporating into my skin-care routine permanently.
For a full week, I decided to wear sunscreen every day to see what sort of benefits it really had for my skin. After washing and drying my face in the morning, I applied the formula evenly across my skin. The first thing I noticed was that it has the consistency of a lightweight water-like lotion that goes on invisible and quickly absorbs into the skin. There was absolutely no white residue to speak of, no stickiness and no harsh smell — so far, so good.
Because this formula doubles as a primer and moisturizer, this sunscreen was the only step in my skin-care routine. Not only did this save me time and energy, but I started to look forward to applying it in the morning. I also noticed that the formula made my skin look glowy and left it feeling cool and comfortable. After giving it about two minutes to fully absorb into my skin, I applied a light layer of Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Lasting Foundation with a beauty sponge, which left my skin looking natural, healthy, and radiant. By the end of the day, my makeup looked just as good as it did at 8 AM. I was sold — to say the least — on how the formula helped my makeup last all day long.
Who Needs It?
This primer-moisturizer-SPF hybrid works for all skin types, but it will specifically tackle any dryness you’re dealing with. I highly recommend this for makeup lovers and beauty enthusiasts who love the look of clean, radiant skin. Say goodbye to any sticky formulas you’ve dealt with in the past, and say hello to this game-changing, invisible formula from Lancôme.

An oil-free SPF moisturizer? Yes, please!
#juice BEAUTY - SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer[goods]#[FiveStars]
An oil-free SPF moisturizer? Sign me and my oily skin UP!
Juice Beauty is a brand that I’ve haven’t really dived into yet, but I adore their SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer. It’s designed to hydrate, protect and maintain the skin’s natural barrier in oily, combo and blemish-prone skin types with a blend of hyaluronic acid, antioxidant-rich pomegranate, aloe vera and sea algae.
My acneic skin doesn’t really react well to thick moisturizers, so I was a little nervous to try this one. Thankfully, it hasn’t caused any breakouts. Despite containing a mineral zinc oxide sunscreen, the formula still blends seamlessly into the skin and doesn’t leave any white residue behind. It also wears well under makeup, too!
It’s the perfect size for traveling too. I also throw it in my makeup bag when I’m going on a trip. At $30, the price is a little high, but if you’re looking for the perfect SPF-oil-free combo, then I definitely recommend this moisturizer!
Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun
I purchased this from YesStyle because I am doing a thorough review of a few SPFs I purchased from them on my Instagram.
I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and think it’s probably my favorite spf.
I’ll start with the texture- this is a lightweight gel-cream rhat almost melts into the skin. It absorbs quickly, and leaves no white cast at all. It feels really nice and light on my skin and works well under my makeup as a result. It doesn’t cause my makeup to become too oily during the day.
My favorite aspect of this spf is the inclusion of centella and niacinamide so it’s perfect for dry, sensitive, acne prone, or oily skin. I don’t think anyone can go wrong with this.
It contains both UVA and UVB filters for full sun protection. I did some research and despite it only having 2 UV filters, it is still very effective.
It is super cost effective overall and is available at a few k beauty online shops so you can definitely price shop around with this one.
My skin experienced absolutely no breakouts from this and I actually think it helped in keeping my skin hydrated and calmed while my face was in the process of clearing up from acne. There were no questionable ingredients listed here.
There is a slight lavender scent to this which I actually liked, but there is an unscented version for anyone who would prefer to avoid scented products.

Just finished this sun cream this morning. Love this stuff, good for dry skin. The smell at first is the sunscreeny smell that I feel would give me a headache but I am actually ok with it and it didn't bother me after the first few days of using it. I can't find anything wrong with it honestly though I do think it wouldn't be good for oily skin cause it is pretty shiny/ a little greasy looking. Nice moisterizing and good consistancy, doesn't break me out. I can't tell about its brightening yet but I think it works well for that not sure. It was 30$ so more expensive. 5 🌟
Brand spotlight: Neutrogena
Neutrogena was the first brand that I tried when I was just a skin care newbie, and I stuck with it for many years, tried out a variety of products, because of its relatively student-friendly pricing yet decent product qualities. I was impressed by some of its products, but also hated some others. Overall, I would say it is a hit or miss with Neutrogena.
Fav: Hydro Boost Water Gel
My favourite product is the Hydro Boost Water Gel. Like the name suggests, this moisturiser is in a gel texture, perfect for my oily skin, but it is very hydrating at the same time, effective in relieving my skin’s inner dryness. This gel feels very refreshing and has a pleasant smell. Although the presence of fragrance worries me because it might irritate sensitive skin, I did not experience any major sensitivity after emptying two jars. I like to use it during the summer time, because it is not heavy on the skin while helping my skin stay hydrated and soft. However, I would not recommend it during winter seasons or for very dry skin types.
Least fav: Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen
On the other hand, I did not enjoy the Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen as much. It feels quite heavy and suffocating on the skin, compared to other sunscreens that I have tried. I have acne prone skin, and this sunscreen caused breakouts because I felt that my pores were clogged. However, true to its name, it does not leave a greasy finish on the skin but because of its texture, it is quite difficult to apply this sunscreen evenly across the face. It also leaves a white cast on the face.

The best sunscreen ever!!!!
So I discovered this product on Instagram and it's by credithink and the product is called saferecipe. It's a K-beauty brand and its a SPF 50+pa it has panthenol & ceramide which is all great for anti-aging. This is a great product because I found out that its great as a primer which is absolutely amazing. I have combination sensitive skin so I have to be careful on what I use and this did not give me a bad reaction nor have I broke out and let me tell you it's rare to find a sunscreen that doesn't break me out. It's suitable for all skin types and it leaves your skin feeling so soft, dewy and just an glowing finish. It has a minty smell to it and doesn't leave a white film like some sunscreens. You can purchase this on amazon or check out there shop on Instagram. This is my forever go-to sunscreen product. It's extremely important to always wear sunscreen because prevents dark spot, wrinkles and is anti-aging. Do you wear sunscreen everyday? Did you know that you can sun exposure just by driving and even by sitting near a window, yikes!! I always always wear sunscreen even if I don't go outside. Remember hot girls wear sunscreen!!#credithink - saferecipe[products]#[FiveStars]
La Roche-Posay sunscreen
I have been using this SPF since last summer. my most favourite thing is the fact that it has both UVA & UVB with mexoryl which prevents anti-aging. Also, I’m not sure if it’s suppose to be moisturizing but I find it super moisturizing. Even if I skip my moisturizer, I can rely on this SPF to make my skin moisturized. It’s also a lot more affordable than other brands. I also find it safe for my acne-prone, sensitive skin! LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Face & Body Melt in Sunscreen Milk SPF 60
