Color correcting 101
Imperfections such as pimples, spots, or redness, are sometimes very noticeable. Sometimes they can make wour makeup to look ugly. And, on many occasions, only the base does not cover completely, that is when we have to resort to the correctors. The concealer function is to camouflage all imperfections of the face. The key to choosing the right one is to resort to the tone opposite that of the defect we want to hide. To do this, you have to look at the guidelines of color theory. A kind of wheel with all the colors of the spectrum. Concealer and function colors Green concealer Neutralizes redness, so it's appropriate to cover imperfections caused by acne. Acne marks usually have a reddish color. But you can hide any redness from your face. How to use it? A little product is applied to the redness. The edges are well blurred so that you don't see color marks. the base is applied so that the green tone is not visible and ready. If you have a lot of redness, I advise you to apply a green makeup primer. With it you will hide the reddish color of the face as it corrects and neutralizes discoloration of the skin. It also matches the tone and unifies the tone. Once applied and extended, apply your usual foundation. Lilac concealer This color will disguise orange spots and brown imperfections. Erases yellowing areas and conceals skins with a marked yellow undertone. Blue concealer It is used to cover orange imperfections, such as freckles for example. Yellow concealer Suitable for purple dark circles and any imperfections that this color has such as bruises. Yellow neutralizes dark circles with a purple or violet undertone. Camouflage stains in purple tones and black dots. It is perfect for concealing varicose veins that usually have a purple hue. If you have dark, golden undertone skin, it will also light up your face. Orange concealer Covers greyish and bluish dark circles. It also conceals dark spots on the upper lip. Orange is used to blur spots, moles or any type of imperfection with brown or bluish hues. How to use it? Apply only in the area to be covered and always before the base. But look, don't put too much product. Dark circle concealers often have a lot of coverage. If you put more of the account, a layer will form that will end up cracking. I only use the green concealer to cover certain rednesses of my face, such as those made around my nose or sometimes a pimple And I also use the orange concealer to cover my dark circles, since mine have a blue color. I use the correctors of L.A girls and the erborian cc red correct

Please tell me good things!
I bought this yellow concealer after a few years of fighting with the darkness under my eyes. I tried everything full force, and then gave up. Until I continued reading success stories for others who need to hide dark circles. I know yellow is what covers purple/dark. But, does it actually work well? Anyone here have any good stories? Success? I havent tried mine yet. I'm once again, left feeling like theres no hope for me .. although all I read is good. Just feels like a never ending jinx, as you get older, stress, sleep.. life 😭

You can’t make a perfect base makeup without these steps
A perfect base makeup is what every girl wants. But it’s not easy to get one. Here I’d like to share my tips. First and foremost, my skin is combination and sensitive, usually the tissue will have traces of oil coming from my nose and forehead, but will be clean in the areas that touched my cheeks. And I do not have acne, undereye circles. So my daily makeup problem to solve is just how to make my base makeup be natural and avoid creases and crevices. After my continuously practising, I set my base makeup routine and receive good results. REMENBER NOT TO SKIP THIS!!! The first step is cleanning and moisturizing, to help the makeup go on flawlessly. After cleansing with a gentle face wash, I will use skincare products like face mask, facial moisturizer to hydrate my skin. Then wait 20 minutes for everything to be absorbed into skin before proceeding to makeup. Second, to make more flat makeup, my secret is to add essence to the foundation and mix them. Then dab a few of them over the main points of your face (forehead, cheeks, and chin) with your finger. Third, make good use of tools to apply foundation, instead of fingers. Beauty blenders or brushes can be your choices. For me, I use makeup sponges. Make sure to get it damp with water. With stippling motions, not dragging or rubbing, quickly tap the sponge over the dots, blending the foundation out toward hairline and jaw to diffuse the color. DON’T THINK that it has already come to an end! The final and important step is to set your base makeup with powder or fixing spray to make it last. Gently swirl the powder over the areas that tend to get extra shiny and oily, especially the T-zone. Don't be lazy and follow the steps above. Then I promise you can get a perfect base makeup.Try!

How to Get Flawless Base Makeup 🧐
🙋🏻♀️My skin: I have oily skin and occasionally get acne and acne marks on my face. My skin tone is fair or light. For me, a flawless base makeup must cover my acne marks and have a good ability on oil control . Here are some tips for base makeup: 1. Keep your skin moisturized before makeup: Apply a mask for 15 minutes before makeup to make your skin more hydrated and prevent it from creasing. 2. Choose the right foundation: As oily skin, I have tried many foundations that claim to be extremely effective in controlling oil, but I have to say that most of them don’t. For me, foundations that really have good effect on oil control are Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-place Foundation, Suqqu Cream Foundation, Dior Forever Matte Foundation, and Lancome Longwear Foundation Stick. BTW, choosing the right shade is also an important prerequisite for creating a flawless base makeup. 3. Use appropriate makeup tools: Brushes and sponges are both better than using our hands to apply makeup. All the foundations for oily skin are not very moisturizing. So, for me, sponges are more suitable for oily skin base makeup than brushes. 4. Choose a good concealer: The key to a flawless base makeup is NO FLAW. Therefore, choose a good concealer to cover acne marks, dark circles and other blemishes is very important. 5.Pay attention to oil control: Oil on our makeup always means cakey and separation, so we have to use loose powder and setting spray to keep our makeup stay in place.. The most effective way for me is to apply the oil-controlling loose powder with a brush after foundation and concealer, and spray the setting spray after finishing all the makeup. Then, use loose powder again after the setting spray is dry. Set your makeup in this way, the base makeup can last for 8 to 12 hours without getting oily. You girls must try it! My FAV full coverage foundation & concealer
#beautywithoutbarriers #cheriepartner #ad Hey everyone! I have gone through so many foundations over the years, trying to work out what ones suit my skin type and skin tone. 🙈 I have combination skin- sometimes it’s dry especially in winter months and I get oily around the T-Zone. My favourite full coverage foundation has been the ‘Milani conceal + perfect 2 in 1 foundation & concealer’. I discovered it at a Milani event we went to when it got released back in Febuary, and I’ve been obsessed ever since! 😍👏🏼 I purchase mine from Farmers NZ but you can also buy it online. It’s super affordable retailing at $26.99NZD and the concealer I also use retails for $20.99NZD. The foundation states that it conceals aswell, but with my dark under eye circles and because I like to use a lighter concealer under my eyes to brighten I like using them both in my makeup routine. My shade without any fake tan on is 01 creamy vanilla and I use shade 04 medium beige when I am wearing fake tan. The only down fall is that the foundation doesn’t have much of a shade range (goes from 1-14), but the concealer has a much wider shade range- keep in mind It does crease under the eyes if you don’t set it with powder or if you set it too much. I like to use shade 001 pure ivory to brighten up my under eye area and hide any dark circles. They are both super full coverage and go on well with a kabuki brush. I only need a few dots of it on my face- a little goes a long way! 😱 It covers most of my problematic skin- I have a few acne scars left and it always covers them perfectly. It’s super long wearing and doesn’t patch off my skin or get oily around the T-Zone unlike other foundations have on me. It’s a very light weight, oil free formula so I think this helps a lot with the long wear! It’s also water resistant (and I’ve even tested it when I went to the Polynesian spas and it still was on my face after 2 hours of soaking in hot spas!) The great thing about Milani is that it is cruelty free too, so you know no animals were harmed making these products! 🐰🐶🐱🐭🐹 Definitely give it a try if you are on the hunt for a new good medium to full coverage foundation! Just keep in mind what works for me could work differently for you because we all have different skin types! 💫 MILANI - Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer MILANI - Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer

LIQUID CONTOUR & HIGHLIGHT ROUTINE✨
When my fave becomes dry or I want my makeup to last all day/night , I tend to use liquids to contour. Liquid contour makes more of a drastic difference opposed to powder contouring. My routine: Prep the face: It’s important to use moisturizers, primers etc. so the product has something to adhere to. I chose to use TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer as a primer. This product mattifies my pores so there is no chance of texture peaking through. Contour: I next go in with my contour and highlighting shades. I used an ulta contour stick to contour what I wanted to add dimension to. I used Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer to brighten areas I wanted to stand out. I blended these shades with a stopping brush than tapped in the rest to really keep the product in place. It might look a little crazy but we’re not done yet! ( I added a photo of what it looks like) Apply foundation: Next I apply foundation overtop the liquid contour and concealer. As you may notice, you do not need that much foundation because there is plenty of coverage from the previous products. I tapped on the foundation with a beauty blender. I used the JOSIE MARAN - Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid Lastly: I set everything with powder. I used the RCMA Makeup - RCMA Makeup No Color Powder I like this powder because I feel as if it brightens my skin and cause no creating. Do you prefer liquid or powder contouring? or both? And what is your skin tone type?⬇️🤍

THE BEST CREASELESS CONCEALER🤩
omg I can’t stop using this concealer guys! For those who know, I have oily skin and holding everything in place is already difficult so getting a lightweight formula that still has coverage and works not only to cover any dark spots but my under eyes is a game changer for me 🤗 So I bought this on sale (FYI I still think it’s in the sale section) and I received this after hearing pretty good things about it (not raved about which tbh I prefer)👍🏽 and the shade seemed too dark to highlight but I still wanted to make it work🤔 I then decided to use this under my eyes as the first step after my foundation to help correct the darkness (learnt this technique from Jackie aina) and I have to say, it’s amazing! 🥰 apply just a small amount under my eyes first and blending that out really helps cancel out the darkness (also this specific shade has a orangeish tinge rather than being too yellow) After blending it, I got in with a brightening concealer and wow oh wow does my under eyes look awake but no longer will the EVER look grey or dark 🙅🏽♀️ I’m in love! Once I set this, I just forget it and I legit have no creasing, it’s THATS good! 🥳 If you guys have been meaning to try any coverfx product, I highly suggest their power play line cause WOW COVER FX - Power Play Concealer #cheriepartner
