New releasing product! High Dupe!

I’ve been using Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant in a full year, but in a low frequency. It costs $29.5, 118ml. And the other same category product, Skin Ceuticals. Spending $140 for only 30ml. My heart was broken when I bought it.lol. Skin Ceuticals discoloration defense is the new releasing product. These two products have nearly five times difference in price. However… One product that really worked for my skin to lighten and improve acne skin, is the skin ceuticals discoloration defense. Ingredients list: 3% tranexamic acic 5% nicotinamide 1% kojic acid 5% sulfoacid Tranexamic acic, nicotinamide and kojic acid are whitening essence. The product claims reducing 60% stubborn spots and improving your skin glossiness. Color spots, dark acne mark, uneven skin color and lifeless skin can be eased effectively. Users can find the amazing skin change after 12 weeks. The actual effect is less magical than official advertising, using this product improves acne skin to a large extent. I have used this for 3 weeks and find my skin color is brighter in the next day morning than the last night. One thing must be remembered…when using discoloration defense, you must keep out of the sun and use the sun block. Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant is recommended by my friend. You cannot use this product very often. Almost 2-3 times a week. After cleaning face, squeeze 4 to 5 drops in cotton pads as the second cleaning. However, my skin looks like very oily after these steps and the product does not have too much effect on my skin. so I do not recommend this. I absolutely prefer skin ceuticals discoloration defense. The price is very high but it brings effective treatment and can perform quickly! PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator

Niacinamide For Acne, Dark Marks and More!
Hailed as the new "it" and “holy grail” ingredient in skincare, niacinamide is an active form of Vitamin B3.  It's available in many skin care products and one of the best you can add to your skincare routine! Not all formulas and concentrations are the same or function the same ways. So here are the top products I’ve tried and all about how niacinamide works: PAULA'S CHOICE - Niacinamide 20% Treatment ✨Improves chronic bumpy skin/orange-peel texture ✨Reduces appearance of sagging stretched pores ✨Brightens blotchy tone, fades post-acne marks ✨Fights advanced signs of aging  PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster ✨Reduces rough texture ✨Minimizes appearance of large pores ✨Brightens a dull complexion  ✨Fights fine lines and early signs of aging  SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum ✨Lightens and improves appearance of dark spots ✨Brightens skin tone and texture  The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ✨Reduces acne and dark spot appearance ✨Reduces pore congestion ✨Balances oil production in skin PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment ✨Fades discoloration and post-acne marks ✨Brightens and repairs uneven skin tone  SATURDAY SKIN - Bright Potion Probiotic Power Serum ✨Improves skin barrier protection, hydration and tone ✨Nourishes skin and promotes luminous appearance   #Apostrophe - Azelaic Acid 15% + Niacinamide 4% Formula[products]#[FiveStars] ✨Smooths fine lines and wrinkles  ✨Improves skin barrier protection and moisture  ✨Brightens skin and fades dark marks  PEACE OUT - Microneedling Dark Spot Brightening Dots ✨Micro-needle patches for faster results  ✨Lightens appearance of dark spots ✨Dark patches become clear and even How niacinamide works: ✨Skin friendly - every skin type can use it ✅Best for acne-prone skin, oily skin, dry skin, combination skin, sensitive skin 🧪Works by inhibiting oil production skin which is beneficial for acne-prone and oily skin types. As a cream or serum, it’s non-irritating and very tolerable compared to other skin treatments. This makes it favorable for people with dry or sensitive skin. ✨Anti-inflammatory - skin calming  ✅Best for - treating inflammatory acne, acne rosacea, skin redness 🧪Works to inhibit inflammatory pathway elements within the body. This  subsequently prevents migration of products involved in inflammation to the skin! As a result, skin becomes less inflamed and irritated.  ✨Brightening - a miracle dark mark corrector ✅Best for - dark marks, post-acne hyperpigmentation, dull complexion 🧪Works to inhibit the transfer of skin's light absorbing pigment, melanin, into the outer layers of the skin. This leads to an overall faded appearance of spots. ✨Anti- Aging - treatment and prevention ✅Best for fine lines, sallow skin, wrinkles  🧪Works by supplementing antioxidants that fight against skin’s free radicals associated with aging and photoaging (skin aging due to sun/UV exposure.)  🧪Works by preventing deposits of cellular components in skin cells that make skin stiff and rigid during photoaging. The appearance of creases and wrinkles become reduced. ✨Completion correcting - smoother texture and complexion  ✅Best for uneven skin texture and tone  🧪Works by supplementing an antioxidant that promotes healthy skin cell growth. Skin becomes renewed and vibrant.  🧪Works by increasing the production of ceramides which maintain skin’s barrier. Skin looks moisturized and softer. Overall, niacinamide is a safe, versatile product and fabulous addition to a daily skincare regimen.

Give me the SkinCeuticals Dupe!!!👆👆👆
I have combination-oily skin and I'm always looking for skincare products good at whitening, brightening, and lightening acne scars. I have previously tried the SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum and found it worked quite well on me. The SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum has a slightly sticky liquid texture. It's moisturizing when applied on the skin but it's better to follow it up with other moisturizing skincare products too. It brightens skin complexion, reduces acne marks, and corrects skin tone. I use 6 to 8 drops every day and night. You have to massage the acne marks for the serum to be fully absorbed and result in a lightening effect. If you're going for a whitening effect, you have to use it consistently without reducing the dosage. SkinCeuticals is very expensive-$98 for 30ml, so I decided to look for a more affordable alternative. And finally I found KOSMEA - Revive Illuminating Essence Kosmea is one of Australia's well-known organic skin care brands. Their Revive Illuminating Essence has a brownish-yellow oil texture which is the same as the SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum. The Kosmea essence has a rosehip essential oil scent which feels great on the skin. I have oily skin so I'm always hesitant to try oils. This particular oil did make my skin look oily when first applied, but it's soon fully absorbed after massaging it in without a strong odor. It also doesn't become lumpy when I apply my Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream afterwards. Great for extra nighttime hydration and I did notice slight lightening of some dark spots . As it contains plenty of fat soluble vitamin C, you can also use this essence in the morning as it doesn't cause photosensitivity. Some of my friends told me that I look fairer after using this essence for a few weeks. It only takes $ 39.95 for 20ml. You can try it out if you think that SkinCeuticals is too expensive.

Skin so 🌼glowy & bright🌻 —> Vitamin C
👋 I’m Sarah and I’m 24 years old. I’ve recently gotten really deep in to skincare. I always liked taking care of my face but I didn’t know the products i had been using were terrible until a few months ago (cuz U kno skincare tiktok) so I revamped my skincare routine and here we are with some before and after pics of my skin. Honestly the main thing I notice is how much brighter my complexion is (Thank u Vit C). I’ll leave a list of products I use/d. I’m introducing a few new products into my routine and trying to get my skin used to retinol in the next few weeks so wish me luck 🌝 CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream I find this can be too heavy on my skin but besides that I really like it and think it’ll be great to have for winter L'ORÉAL - Revitalift Derm Intensives Vitamin C Serum this is my favorite vitamin C serum I’ve tried so far. It’s so gentle on my face but still get the job done. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I WISH I would have discovered this years ago BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water tbh regular micellar water but still great LA ROCHE-POSAY - Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum honestly a waste of money, not that is doesn’t work but, for me, all of my products already have hyaluronic acid in them so my skin would break out in little bumps from using too much or the terrible fragrance or both probably. I do still use it sometimes but mostly bc it was $30ish. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I just started using this a few weeks ago but I have high expectations. I use it once a week atm. So far so good. CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum I’m still trying to figure out how to incorporate this into my routine w/o my skin flaring up. I’m put it on top of my moisturizer tonight, hopefully that does the trick.

EXFOLIATING ACIDS & How Not To Overdo It!!!👀✨💖
Exfoliating acids are everywhere now and so many new products are about exfoliating the skin to “reveal brighter, smoother skin”. In the age of exfoliating now, it’s so easy to overdo and can easily result in harming the skin instead. Here are my favorite exfoliating acids (and products) and how I use it so I don’t damage my skin! Lactic Acid: A super gentle acid that exfoliates the top layer of skin and removes dead skin cells. I find this to be the most gentle of the acids and can be used everyday. I love fresh - Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence because I use it as an essence treatment. This is a liquid formula that easily sinks into the skin and “primes” the skin for the next products. It’s also a hydrating formula! Azelaic Acid: Another more gentle exfoliating acid that helps improve the appearance of blemishes and fade post-acne marks. I love this PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster because it can be mixed into your moisturizer and boost the effectiveness. I love that this speeds up the healing process of my acne marks because then I get clearer skin quicker! Salicylic Acid: One of the most effective exfoliating acids for treating and preventing acne! It exfoliates deep into the layers of skin and removes dead skin cells. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator is a super strong and effective formula that I like to use when I’m breaking out A LOT. It’s too harsh on my skin to use daily but once a week is fine. I also love LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin which I use every night to wash my face. It’s just as effective and not too strong for daily use because it’s a wash off product and doesn’t stay on the skin. Glycolic Acid: Easily one of the strongest and deeply exfoliating acids out there. I find it super effective as a night serum like DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum or as a scrub like ALPHA-H - Micro Super Scrub with 12% Glycolic Acid . I use these products 2 times a week just to keep my skin free of congestion and to maintain the texture of my skin.

Fighting hyperpigmentation
Fighting hyperpigmentation
When I was a teenager, I used to have combination to oily skin, and I just couldn’t help to touch and squeeze my acnes, leaving some dark marks on my chain and face. Besides, I always forgot to use sunscreen and the sunshine in my hometown is so strong that UV not only made me tanned but also left me many freckles. I dispelled freckles by laser years ago, but I can’t do this all the time. Recently my friend told me there was a combo she used to get rid of her acne marks, and today I want to share my thoughts about this combo. Both products are from SkinCeuticals, Phyto+ and Discoloration Defense. SKINCEUTICALS - Phyto + Hydrating Botanical Serum With Kojic Acid SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum Phyto+ has both Arbutin and kojic acid, which can improve skin discoloration and promote an overall brighter, more even and radiant skin. The kojic acid is naturally produced by certain fungi, and arbutin is a major component of uva ursi, and both can restrain the creation of melanin. Other ingredients such as botanical extracts cucumber, thyme and hyaluronic acid will calm, soothe and refresh skin. It is especially effective to my new acne marks, but for old ones, I haven’t seen a big difference. The Discoloration Defense is a daily-use serum that proven to reduce the appearance of stubborn brown patches and acne marks. The ingredients include 3% tranexamic acid, 1% kojic acid and 5% niacinamide, and all of them are famous ingredients for reducing hyperpigmentation and brightening skin tone. Tranexamic acid can minimize the reoccurrence of brown patches, and niacinamide is usually added in products for brightening skin tone.   Here is my routine including this combo. After lotion, I use Discoloration Defense with moisturizer and sunscreen afterwards in the morning. And at night, I will add Phyto+ after Discoloration Defense only on my acne marks. After two weeks, I can feel my skin tone is more even, and most of the marks are faded.   I still have a long way to go for fighting hyperpigmentation. And what I learned from my experience is that sunscreen is the most important products that should be used as early as possible.

I thought I’d quickly share my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE skin care + makeup product and the face that comes along with it 😂 Anyone that sees this post, I challenge you to do this with the same layout and tag me!! 1. Mad Hippie - Vitamin A Serum This product is my saviour of everything pigmentation and hydration! I started off using it every other night but now I use it every night. In the morning my skin is plumped, SOFT AF and smooth like a babies butt. It’s basically a super gentle serum that shares properties of retinol but super safe. Whenever my eczema gets bad and my hyperpigmentation gets worse from the sun, using this product overtime has helped me so much! Physical exfoliants and salicylic acid tend to be very harsh on my skin and 9/10 my eczema reacts so to have a product that sinks into your skin and compliments your skincare routine... yes please. One thing I will say is please be patient. I purchased this product almost two years ago and I thought it wasn’t good because I didn’t see immediate results. Giving it a second try last year BOY AM I THANKFUL. If you want an exfoliator that is not overly drying and safe for sensitive skin... look no further 2. DERMABLEND - Loose Setting Powder I’ve spoken about this in a previous post but I love this product SO MUCH for the smooth airbrushed YET natural look effect 🥺 I use this DAILY with DERMABLEND - Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Foundation Drops and they work perfect together. Another reason why this is my absolute favourite is because it keeps everything LOCKED. I’m extremely active and I’m constantly moving around and/or sweating. It’s so nice to have a product that keeps my concealer and everything else on stuck ALL while NOT clogging my pores (girl yesss, I know!!) I’ve recently started using the powder by itself after my moisturizer because (according to dermablend) it can help lock the moisture in and so far my skin looks and feels silky smooooooth Okay thanks for reading my long essay Bye guys!! :)

✨C-15 Super Booster ~ from pau
✨C-15 Super Booster ~ from paulaschoice I recently wrote about C-Firma, a daytime serum containing 15% L-Ascorbic acid that has helped lighten my pigmentation. Many of you expressed in this post that you can’t get past the stickiness, smell, and some of you have even said C-Firma breaks you out so it’s an absolute no-go. That’s fine - we all have different skin that reacts differently, and of course we don’t all like the same things. . Although personally I will continue to use C-Firma, I wanted to tell you about an alternate vitamin c serum which I know for sure solves the first two issues that for many are deal-breakers. Keep in mind however this product also contains L-Ascorbic acid and it may still cause purging, so will not be suitable for everyone. I chose one from a brand I trust on the same level as Drunk Elephant: Paula’s Choice. When it comes to actives there’s very few brands I would put my skin in their hands. Paula’s Choice is one of those brands as I’m sure many of you will agree. . The C-15 Super Booster comes in a droplet bottle as opposed to an air-tight pump bottle, and although it doesn’t contain the long list of ingredients that C-Firma does including pumpkin ferment, pomegranate extract, licorice root extract, Indian gooseberry or Virgin marula oil, it does contain the most important players 15% l-ascorbic acid, plus vitamin E and Ferulic acid. . It can be used directly on the skin or mixed in with another serum or moisturiser. I credit the lightening of my pigmentation to C-Firma but looking at the ingredients and comparing the two I believe this would work just as effectively on more or less the same level. . Upon speaking to several friends on here who didn’t get on with C-Firma, many of them went on to C-15 and are enjoying the product immensely, so it is definitely worth looking into. .

I Finally Found The Best Solution to Acne Scars!
I Finally Found The Best Solution to Acne Scars!
Are you struggling with your acne scars? I heard this is the best combination to get rid of acne scars. So I bought it. 😉 One of them is light yellow, the other one is light brown. It feels a little bit sticky after being absorbed. Phloretin CF has a stronger smell, a little bit like herbs.  After using this combination, my acne scars look lighter. My face is smooth the following day, and my skin looks cleaner.  I recommend this combination to anyone with acne scars, especially if your acne scars are small in amount and pretty light.
