If I live in a dry climate all year round, I think I will get crazy. My dry skin won’t stay for a moment. Most of time my face skin type is combination dry skin, but my body skin type is always quite dry. So products with moisturizing ingredients are always my first choice. Glycerin and hyaluronic acid are two classic moisturizing ingredients I focus on. The component content of these two directly determines the degree of moisturization of this product. Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel is one product has made a noticeable difference on my dry skin. This product actually has three textures, gel, lotion and jelly. Gel is for combination oily to oily skin, so many people will doubt why I use gel not lotion. The reason is this product I use only for the triangle area where I get oil not all. According to official description, gel is oil free.Note that this oil-free means that there is no vegetable oil or mineral oil, it does not mean there is no synthetic ester. I did a research on its ingredients list. A total of 31 ingredients. The formula is added with dimethylsilicone oil, which has strong ductility. So it will increase the smoothness of the application. In addition, with the large content of glycerin and hyaluronic acid, Clinique is smooth enough when used on your skin. What's more, I'm also acne skin. One of the key reasons for acne skin is oil imbalance. If you don't do a good job in skin moisturizing, you can easily get acne. Therefore, it is not only oily skin that will grow acne, but dry skin will also rise! Moisturizing is always the most basic step for skin care. And Glycerin and Propylene glycol are two key moisturizing ingredients. I recommend people who under 25 to use this product. Over 25 years old, only moisturizing cannot satisfy your skin’s needs. And this product only can help you skin in a hydrated condition, no other effect. CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel

My Holy Grail Moisturizer😌
My holy grail moisturizer of all times! I have tried many moisturizers throughout my skin journey but this one is so far the best one I have tried. I have tried many moisturizers that claim to provide moisture but don’t do anything and actually make may face feel tight, dry and somehow make my skin super oily. However, with this moisturizer I can actually feel my skin being moisture. It gives me the right amount of moisture my oily skin needs without feeling heavy or making my skin produce more oil than what it should produce. That being said I totally recommend this moisturizer specially if you have oily skin. If you have dry or normal skin Clinique has a lotion version of this moisturizer which is also amazing, I love to use it during the colder months. Also if you have sensitive skin this moisturizer is also safe for your skin because it doesn’t contain any fragrances. help!
started breaking out like crazy, need a routine and I don’t know where to start 😭 I‘m scared of putting something on my face and breaking out even more. Might’ve damaged my skin barrier with SA washes/acids because it feels tight after washing. I cleanse with CLINIQUE - Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C (which has salicylic acid) and I USED to follow up with CLINIQUE - Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10%and CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gelbut that’s stopped working for me :/ I have normal/oily skin but it hasn’t been very oily lately due to dryness from the cleanser

1. CLINIQUE dramatically different moisturizing gel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Balances and refreshes oilier skin. It contains Sunflower Seed Cake, Barley Extract and Cucumber Fruit Extract which help strengthen skin’s barrier, improve its resiliency, and balance and retain skin’s moisture levels. Besides, Hyaluronic acid acts as a natural moisture magnet/humectant. I've always had a hard time with moisturizers, I can never find one that doesn't irritate my skin and make me breakout! However, this one has definitely helped my situation! Moisturizes while keeping my skin nice and shine-free while also not creating new breakouts! Love it! 2. ORIGINS mega-mushroom relief&resilience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is a mushroom-infused, hydrating, watery lotion that reduces the look of redness and preps cleansed skin for serum and moisturizer. I have rosacea/acne, and sensitive skin and my face gets very red when I'm active or in the sun. This really helped calm my redness both caused by acne and by rosacea flare ups! Usually products that work this well with redness cause me to break out, but this did not. I used it immediately after cleansing and before anything else by pouring a small amount into my hand and then patting it into the skin. I love using this because it helps my other actives absorb well into the skin, very nice and soothing! IActually i had cystic acne all over my chin. This product help me so much, it calmed my skin, reduced redness, and helped keep my skin from feeling raw and dehydrated from acne products I was using to treat my pimples. Lasts forever the travel size has lasted me for months using almost daily, a little goes a long way!

{empty} CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ I have a soft spot for this moisturizer because I started my skincare journey with Clinique. My skin started getting dry in my teens (I have combination sensitive skin), and I turned to my mom for help, who recommended Clinique. This was perfect for my teen self: affordable, great value and gets the job done! It has a very light texture (hence the “lotion” in the name) and is perfect for combination skin! The only problem is it’s a little bit stinky - totally bearable, but it’s not ideal. I would HIGHLY recommend this product, and have gotten a lot of my friends into it 🥰

My go-to drugstore gel-cream
My go-to drugstore gel-cream
Can you tell from my picture of empties that I’m slightly obsessed with this moisturizer? I always have a back up of this in my cupboard and I have a big fear of running out. Why gel-cream? I’ve mentioned before in another post, but I definitely prefer a gel-cream for my combo (sometimes oily), acne prone skin! It’s light, gentle and doesn’t make your skin feel greasy. And this does a great job of locking in the moisture but not leaving my skin so greasy that it could possibly produce more oil. I use this morning and night and it works perfectly with my skin type. I love trying other gel-creams like the belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb but I tend to always come back to the Neutrogena version because it’s affordable and dependable. And honestly, I love to spend money on skincare, but I also feel guilty when I am spreading a more expensive moisturizer all over my face, neck and chest. The key is I always buy the fragrance-free version. Even though I don’t have very dry skin, I honestly feel like my skin prefers the version without the fragrance and it’s still light and gel-like in texture. The good: + The price! Now it’s not the cheapest drugstore moisturizer, but compared to a gel-cream from belif it’s definitely more affordable. + The texture is light and gel-like and glides so easily across the skin. + Oil-free and fragrance-free! + It’s non-comedogenic and won’t clog my pores. + Absorbs nicely into the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy. + Has a couple nice, hydrating ingredients (hyaluronic acid and olive extracts). The not so good: - I really wish this came in a bigger jar because I don’t love all the waste that I’m producing by buying all these new containers of moisturizer. And I go through these pretty quickly now.. like almost one every 1.5 months. - Although the brand always emphasizes how this product has hyaluronic acid, it’s actually pretty far down the ingredient list. So it does make we question just how much is in the formula. Not a big deal for me, but if you do have really dry skin, you might need something a little more heavy duty than this product. Worth it? For around $20, I definitely think this is worth it. Especially when compared to other high-end options. Will I repurchase? I have probably.... 7 times now! And plan to again :) 💕

I’d rather get coal than this moisturizer
I’d rather get coal than this moisturizer
CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel What is it: an oil-free moisturizer that claims to soften, smooth and leave skin glowing. Also claims to deliver 8 hours of oil free hydration and helps to balance and refresh oily/combination skin types. Target concerns: oiliness- made for oily and combination skin types. My thoughts: this moisturizer has a super lightweight gel formula. I honestly liked how it initially went on, because I don’t like heavy moisturizers in the morning. But then, the horror happened. I became super oily throughout the day, my makeup separated more than ever, and I had broken out along my chin and cheeks. Before I had used this product, I had no active breakouts and after using it, I had at least 3. To test my theory, I tried it again without makeup and i was still oilier than ever after a few hours and I broke out on my chin (only one this time). I wanted to try this, because I have oily/combo skin and this is what this is specially made for, but it was a huge disappointment. To my surprise, it does have pretty good reviews on Sephora, so buy with discretion. It is nice that they also have different sizes you can try out, with their mini size only being $5.

|| Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel || Targeted for: Dry skin to keep sUpPLe and sOft I LOOOVE this moisturizer and have repurchased this more than 3 times before I decided to venture out into higher end moisturizers. It’s exactly what it says it is - a water gel texture that transforms and sinks in like water into the skin. I have oily/dry combination skin that’s also acne prone and this quickly became one of the moisturizers I knew I could rely on. I’ve recommended this to some of my friends and they’ve also loved this just as much as I have because not only does it get the work done, it gets the work done WELL. This was recommended to me by my dermatologist (via Curology) because it’s non-comedogenic (does not clog your pores) and would react well with the prescription, and it did just that. You can sometimes buy this in bulk at Costco (which is what I did) because it’s kinda? expensive? for a drugstore brand ($21). I think at Costco it comes in a pack of 2 for the same price which is AMAZING!

Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream About me 🤗 and the product 💧Skin type/skin tone I have combination skin. My t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐I also have some freckles across my cheeks and my nose bridge. My skin type for the rest of my body is dry. 💧Product function This product claims to provide the skin with long-lasting hydration and alleviates the skin's dryness and protect against further moisture loss. 💧Texture/consistency The texture and consistency of the product is a smooth watery like gel. The gel is also fragrance, dye, and oil- free. 💧Packaging The packaging is Neutrogenas standard blue with white words and cap. The product is in a standard screw top plastic container that is leak proof. Beauty story📖 💧Overall experience You guys should have figured out by now, but if you couldn't tell, I love Neutrogena products❤️. They are gentle on the skin, non-comedogenic, dermatoligist recommended 👩🏻‍⚕️, and don't cause irritation to my sensitive skin. I was looking for a night cream 🌙 that is higher in moisture but I did not want something that is too thick and will clog my pores, causing breakouts. Thats when I found this product. I saw that this product is for extra-dry skin and is a gel-cream rather than just a cream, meaning that it is more watery and will feel less heavy. 💧Verdict❤️❤️ After a few months fo using this product and finishing it, I can 100% say that I will repurchase for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣! I loved this product becuase it provided my dry skin areas high moisture that lasted throughout the night. After applying this gel-cream, the product is absorbed away and did not cause my skin to feel sticky or clogged. 💧Recommend? ✅✅Yes! I recommend this product to combination skin types and dry skin types. I would probably ❌not recommend this product to oily skin types though because it does provide the skin with high moisture. I would recommend this product to acne prone skin to since it is non-comedogenic so it won't clog the pores. 💧Worth it?💰💰 The product costs around $20 for 1.7 oz and it is 100% worth your time and money. It allows provides the skin with high moisture and makes your skin smooth and supple!
