Old and Newbie🧐
Both of them are face primer, and both wieth SPF. Chantecaille is more expensive and costs $95 with SPF45. Shu uemura costs $73 with SPF35. In terms of price, both of products are more expensive than the similar products of other brands. Actually, after finishing chantecaille, I still wanted to buy the same one. But considering the high price, I decided to try another brand. Lol. This yellow packaging of the chantecaille not only has sunscreen value, but also has anti-glycation function. But if you ask me, whether this product give me some special change on my face? OK… actually, I haven't found out yet. lol. This product only has 1.3oz，which is not durable. However, The product has mild and non greasy nature with comfortable use. So, if I have enough budget, I am willing to buy it again. COME HERE TO PICK ONE
Combination dry skin with acne. KOREAN AND JAPANESE BRANDS VS EUROPEAN AND US PRODUCTS These four face primers have a big gap on price. I have used them for a long period. Each of them has different functions and performance. I cannot wait to share with you! 1. CPB SPF 20++ clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Correcting Cream Veil SPF 21 The newest try one among these four, but I have been applying it for one month. Special for dry and desert skin. Texture: creamy white with hydrated feeling. If you are oil skin, try to avoid it. You will feel too oily to spread the primer evenly. Price: $80 Advantage: moisturizing and pigmentation. It can help me to brighten my skin tone. Disadvantage: low SPF and poor fluidity. 2. LANEIGE SPF22++ LANEIGE - Skin Veil Base SPF25 PA++ Two type can be chosen. One is green for improving the problems of skin sensitivity and redness. I prefer purple one. This series is applicable for dull and shallow skin. However! This one is the worst among these four! DO NOT BUY IT! Texture: not very thick but not moisturizing. After applying, my skin tone is looked like not natural. You have to do a great job on previous moisturizing work. I don’t like it. Price: $20 Advantage: cheap Disadvantage: cannot keep the moisture of skin and I got new acne on my chin due to this primer. 3. CHANTECAILLE SPF 45 PA+++ CHANTECAILLE - Ultra Sun Protection Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Primer Shake the tube before using it to mix all ingredients together. Texture: it makes us feel oil when squeeze them out. However, this product is oil-free formula. No color and no fragrance. It can form 1-2mm protective film on my skin from my observation. Price:$95 Advantage: dry skin will love it! Disadvantage: high price and low cost performance. I can run out of one by six months. 4. MAC MAC - Strobe Cream I have introduced this product for many times. I love it because it’s multi-functional primer which gives me the brightening and smoothest appearance. The using method is different from previous three. I always mix them with my foundation. The effect is much more amazing and natural than using alone. Price:$35 Advantage: very durable. Mix with foundation can create more surprise. Disadvantage: sheer primer texture. Many people don’t like it. Conclude, the face primer ranking is CPB,CHANTECAILLE, MAC, LANEIGE.
I can't live without these Sunscreens! Round 2
1) Avène Very High Protection Mineral Lotion SPF 30+ PA+++ It's a safe, tolerable, sweatproof, waterproof physical sunscreen suitable for those who are photosensitive, prone to sunburn, or work long hours outdoors. You can feel it forming a protective layer on the skin fast, and it's non-greasy. 2) Eau Thermale Avène Day Protector UV EX SPF 30 PA+++ This is an antioxidant sunscreen which is soothing, hydrating, moisturizing, nourishing and is absorbed by the skin easily, but it doesn't give a touch-up effect. 3) CHANTECAILLE Ultra Sun Protection SPF 45 PA ++ Anti-Glycation Primer This is the most expensive sunscreen I have bought so far. It's infused with soothing and antioxidant botanicals, including cherry blossom, lemon balm and white tea extract. It's oil-free and provides a matte finish. Shake well before use, then squeeze a one dollar coin-size onto your palm and press it onto the face. It's a little bit greasy and it dries on the skin in just a few hours, especially in winter.
I am so glad I picked up these beccacosmetics x khloekardashian & malika Bronze, Blush & Glow Face Palettes! I love the formula of these palettes - very smooth, easy to blend and so pigmented! Not to mention the shades are gorgeous!
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this nars highlighter? 🖤🙌🏼 I’ve been holding on not to use this for so long, only to not ruin the gorgeous print but I’ve finally took the plunge on using it more often! I’ve been using it with my gossmakeupartist Fan Brush 15 and it gives the most beautiful metallic sheen on the skin! The more you blend it in, the more glass like it looks!
I think I may have an addiction to ... face palettes 🙊💕 And the benefit Cheekleaders Bronze Squad stole my heart 💘 All these gorgeous shades... and their exclusive highlighter Cookie... wow! It’s all I can say. I hope they’ll bring it as a single pan because it’s such a beautiful, blinding highlighter. I’m also really happy they included the Hoola Caramel I’m sure it will be a great match for me.
Love this Stila One Step Primer💖 I have used it for 1months. This primer doesn’t have a smell and It is light and moisturizing. As you can see in the third image,I used a skin detector to do the moisturizing test. After using the primer,the moisture content of the skin has increased a lot,which is really amazing!!!
Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation: Illusion I absolutely adore the Kjaer Weis compacts. This is a luxury clean and natural makeup brand. The luxe compacts are heavy weight and very chic. I love the Kjaer Weis blushes and highlighters so I wanted to try the Cream Foundation. The best part is that Kjaer Weis products are refillable. So you buy the compact once then can buy a cheaper refill instead of a whole new product. Not only is it cheaper for you but it’s also less waste for the environment This is a cream foundation. I find it really hydrating with the oils. This is great for drier skin or winter. This foundation is buildable and gives light medium to medium full coverage. I find the finish more dewy versus semi-matte. It has a luminous quality that adds a healthy glow to the skin. I get eight hours of wear out of this and it doesn’t break down on me, but I do get a bit greasy in the forehead and nose around mid to end of day. I have to powder the t-zone when I wear this foundation, even in the winter. It’s definitely a more moisturizing foundation. I don’t think I could get away with this in the summer here in Houston (too hot and humid) . This foundation is great for drier skin types and people who live in colder environments. If you’re looking for a hydrating creamy foundation that doesn’t look cakey you’ll like this one. This has a very nice finish, it’s light and blends right into the skin. It looks very natural. Out of all the cream foundations that are this kind of texture this is my favorite. It’s just a bit too moisturizing for me.
NARS: Radiance Primer SPF35/PA+++
Oh where do I begin? The NARS Radiance Primer was my holy grail primer for a long long time. I recently made the switch to cutting out primers from my routine because 1) they add an extra step and 2) I use sunscreen in place of a primer now. The NARS Radiance Primer is a very pretty primer that not only comes with SPF 35/PA+++ but also fine shimmer particles to give you an extra glow. I first got this after being dissatisfied with BECCA’S Backlight Primer as I found it too shimmery. Tried the NARS one in stores, and voila! Was instantly sold. This primer has a lightweight gel-cream texture that goes on really well and absorbs nicely into the skin. When I was using it I found that this gave me a subtle glow under my makeup, which I loved! It also helped to gel my makeup together which I really liked. I have a light skin tone so the shimmer in this isn’t too bright nor is it too dark for me. As good as this is though, I stopped using this already though so I probably won’t repurchase it again but I would definitely recommend this to my friends even though its a tad expensive because it is a great primer - it doesn’t cake or feel too heavy on the skin, and it does an amazing job in keeping my makeup together. Plus, it has SPF! Who could pass this up? NARS - Radiance Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sunscreen
