Rainbow highlighter 🌈 💚💙

I am a highlighter collector. One of my dream is to collect all colors of highlight. Lol. I've bought pink highlighter palettes of CPB, purple highlighter sticks and pink highlighter palettes of Fenty beauy before. Today, I want to compare two Japanese brands, Shiseido and Illamasqua. Shiseido was bought on Nordstrom's official website, and Illamasqua was bought from Amazon. I have run out of one Shiseido, the color called pk107. This is my second pk107. It should be one of my favorite highlighter. I always wear then under my eyes and on my chin. You can find the blue light under the sun and it has a puffy effect. The blue light can make me look young. It contains a highlighter brush, which is very soft. You don’t need to buy any other brush. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Color
For Illamasqua,I only used twice. The color is very special green, not too daily and is hard to match. Unless my friends hold a “green party”, all girls decorate themselves as Christmas tree, ok, I can think about this highlighter. ILLAMASQUA - Beyond Powder Highlighter

Can I justify spending $70 on a highlighter?
When I saw this highlighter, I fell in love. Truly, madly, deeply – I just knew it needed pride of place in my makeup drawer! The product in question is the Chanel Metal Peach pressed powder highlight: Chanel’s glowy, limited-edition offering in their Holiday 2019 collection. I picked this up late last year and it’s immediately become my favourite highlight to date – my usual go-to shimmers are the Illamasqua Beyond Powder and the ABH Amrezy collaboration palette, but Chanel Metal Peach is a game-changer. In terms of colour – this powder is a light, glowy pinky-peach, that almost feels a little creamy when you apply it. I find that the Illamasqua Beyond Powder can be a bit too bronze on my skin (perfect for holidays when I have a tan, but otherwise, a little too warm); and the ABH Amrezy colour, whilst similar in undertone to the Chanel Metal Peach, tends to fade and wear pretty quickly. It’s definitely buildable which is something I always look for in my highlighters – I tend to use the same product for daytime and night-time, so I need something gentle for work and blinding for evenings! I loved that the Chanel Metal Peach powder didn’t clog my pores or highlight skin texture – there’s nothing worse than chunky highlight that clings to imperfections! It lasts all day on the skin, noticeably glowing from application in the morning all the way to bedtime. I never have to reapply – I glow all day long! Of course, for the $70 price tag that is something you’d expect: this was a little more than I would usually spend on a highlight, but whilst you are (of course) paying for the Chanel name, I definitely think that price is justified in how the product applies and performs – I am truly obsessed and could never go back! The packaging is obviously super-cute and the powder is pressed with a gorgeous, swirled design that makes every application feel like a luxury. If you’re looking for a product that has a beautiful shimmer that lasts all day – plus looks adorable on your dressing table! – the Chanel Metal Peach is a must-have, and worth every penny!

The Most Beautiful Highlighters I Found!
From left to right SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face ColorPK 107: It has fine powder which is basically colorless on face and flies everywhere. It can be used on the under eye area to cover small bumps. However, it dries easily, so it's important to keep the skin around your eyes moisturized. clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Luminizing Face Enhancer #11 Pastel: It's absolutely stunning! The packaging is pretty, the powder is fine, and the little brush it comes with does a pretty decent job of applying the product. It's a loud highlighter which is well pigmented and suitable for those with a lighter skin tone. Normally, I'll apply it gently to the outer corners of my eyes and my nose bridge, giving a nice glossy look. BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter: My forehead is not plump enough, so I'll normally apply it to my brow bones, my cheekbones, the outer corners of my eyes, along my nose bridge and to my chin. It's a light champagne shade suitable for warm skin tones. It provides your skin with a healthy translucent glow. The powder is so delicate that it doesn't fly everywhere when applying. I definitely recommend it! From the swatches, we can see that Becca is a more yellowish tone, PK107 has a light metallic blue shimmer while Clé de Peau Beauté illuminates your skin with a translucent glow. You must buy yourself the Becca highlighter! You can buy the Clé de Peau Beauté enhancer if you have enough budget, or the Shiseido face color if you have an even greater budget.

Worth the hype?
SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Colorpk107 It has a light pink shade which I mostly apply on the apples and tear trough. It creates a light blue but natural-looking shade on the face under the sun. It covers the tear trough well and doesn't emphasize your pores. However, it doesn't really do much for me and many drugstore highlighters, such as Soap & Glory's Glow All Out, can offer the same results. SHISEIDO - Luminizing Satin Face Colorwt509: It has a beige white shade with no pearlescent tone or shimmers. It looks plain at first, but once it's applied, it really brings out your nose bridge and your forehead, giving you a taller-looking nose. It leaves a very natural look as if your skin is glowing from the inside out and you'll look perfect from every angle. It's also very subtle yet it greatly improves your overall makeup look.

Love this product (as blush too!)
Love this product (as blush too!)
benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set Who says this has to be used as a bronzer? It can be used as a contour if your skin color allows. AS WELL AS BLUSH! One day I forgot to bring my blush so I used this for blush and wow! It’s not the pink girly popping blush I’m used to but it’s a more sophisticated and more business like manner. I’m totally digging this product for that purpose as well. It’s a shade that’s not too harsh and it’s super blendable. Love it! Totally recommend this if you haven’t tried this product! Will repurchase!

Liquid Highlighter? Powder Highlighter?
Liquid Highlighter? Powder Highlighter?
COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops - Halo This is a holographic highlighting drops product from COVER FX. The packaging is beautiful and it’s holographic as well. The texture feels like oil but not sticky or heavy on my face. And the pigmentation is so intense just like liquid metal. Basically it has silver and pearl shade, but as it’s holographic, it reflects a strong purple and blue colours. This highlighter is so shiny, and I actually don’t use it directly on my cheeks. Instead, I like to mix it with my foundation and it only needs one drop to make my foundation more shimmering and leave a glowy finish on my face, and it’s not weird at all.  BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector - Prismatic Amethyst This is a pressed powder highlighter which is also a kind of multi-dimensional highlighter. I do like the packaging with lilac colour and silver metal which is so luxurious and elegant. And there are some patterns with special design on the surface of the highlighter just like diamonds. The texture is not that fine and smooth as other BECCA highlighter, and it’s a little bit powdery. The colour is kind of silver and with some light pinky-purple shade, and it reflects a purple sheen on the skin. I would say the colour is pretty but it looks a little bit weird on my face and I think it’s because of the texture. It feels that the powder sits on my face and the colour is too white for me which makes my cheekbones stand out and that looks quite strange.  So I think COVER FX liquid highlighter is better. It has a good texture and beautiful colour. And it also multi-functional, as you can directly dab it on your cheekbones and you can also mix it with your foundation.

✨The color that I highlight my cheek is moonstone. This got to be the most gorgeous highlight shade that I apply onto my face. It is buildable, the pigment is there, so a little goes a long way. It just looks very flattering on my cheeks, and gives my face more life to it. ✨The price is $38 dollars. Yes indeed is a very expensive highlight but the highlight will stay on long. There are different shades of highlight that fits all skin tone. ✨ At first I was very hesitant to buy it since it is an expensive product, but I decided because I couldn’t help it. So I did it. It is okay to splurge on makeup once in while, I know I do because it keeps me happy :). ✨ Quality: This highlight have 8g of product inside this pan. That is a lot !! In my opinion. I really like the formula of this highlight, it glides onto my skin so smooth and gives my skin the right amount of radiance when I step into the sun. Since it is summer, when I step outside the sun, I really enjoy how my skin looks with this highlight. Gives me the right amount of glow. Even when I go out partying or to the clubs, I kid you not this highlight stays on throughout the night!! ✨Tips/advice: On my lazy day when I don’t feel like putting in makeup. I slather this highlight all over my face and add some moisturizer/sunscreen. Boom you got yourself a nice youthful, but simple look. You can never go wrong with that. Add a little bronzer and you got yourself a complete look. I’ve been digging a bronzer and highlight together. I really like a nice bronze up look with a nice glow onto the cheeks. ✨ Overall: I really love using this product in general. It is my go to highlight. I use this highlight whenever I put on my makeup. The only thing with this product is that it will crack if you travel around with it. It happened to me once when I traveled. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer is by far my favorite bronzer that has ever existed. I have gone through two full sizes of it already! I love that the shade range has been expanded to fit everyone’s needs. This is also beginner friendly in my opinion. In fact, it is almost impossible to mess up the application process of it. I would easily pay at least double for it, I mean it really is that good. I originally tried it because I was having trouble finding a bronzer that was light enough with the right tone and this blew me away. I would highly recommend checking it out if you’ve never tried it!

bareMinerals - bareMinerals Blush If you read any of my previous post and then you’ll know that I am extremely fair skinned so when I’m playing make up for choosing make up colors I have to be extremely careful because what may be just the right hands of color on someone with a darker skin tone for me makes me look clownish. This loose blush by bareMinerals in the color and chanted beauty is absolutely perfect for my fair skin tone. It gives me the right amount of color for any type of occasion
