EASY Kitten Eye 🐱 (Baby Wing) #CheriePartner
I love a winged liner look but sometimes I only want something subtle. A “Kitten Eye” or “Baby Wing” is always my go-to eye look for all kinds of occasions! Especially with everyone wearing masks nowadays, the first thing everyone sees are your eyes and this look is cute, flirty and definitely elongates your eyes! The main difference (to me) between a kitten eye and a cat eye is that a kitten wing is much smaller and and shorter compared to a cat eye winged liner. This kitten wing is only at the outer 1/3 of the eye whereas a cat eye wing would start from the inner corner of the eye and extend even further out! What you need: A liquid eyeliner (or sharpened eye pencil) DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner This Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner is my go-to eyeliner and has been a favorite for almost 8 years!!! I discovered it during my freshman year of high school and has always remained the best of the ones I have tried. It’s extremely long wearing, very waterproof, and high in pigment. I also prefer the brush tip over a felt tip! An eyelash curler shu uemura - Eyelash curler I’ve had this eyelash curler since middle school and have only changed out the pads twice since! It reallys hugs my eye shape and curls every. single. lash! It’s truly the best eyelash curler ever. A mascara MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara I have been LOVING this drugstore mascara! The plastic brush really helps to push up, curl and separate my lashes. It gives a really defined but fluttery effect on my lashes and is probably one of my favorite mascaras ever! How to draw the baby wing: (view 2nd pic!) 1) Using the liquid eyeliner, trace the outer 1/3 of your upper lash line. 2) Draw a thin line out following the direction of your bottom lash line. But not too long. 3) Starting from the outer point of the line your just drew, draw a third line bringing the wing back in. 4) Fill in the triangle! Tada! 5) Curl your lashes and apply mascara! Let me know if you try this out and whether you like it!

winged liner in under a minute!
winged liner is one of my favorite makeup steps ever! I know there’s some hesitation for a lot of people, so I wanted to film this simple tutorial to show that it’s really easy! anyone can master it. in the video, I’m looking down into a mirror, I often look up to make sure the liner is turning out the way I want it. when doing this at home. you can check your work by simply stepping back from your mirror. step 1. I start my liner on the outside half of my eye. I have round eyes, and I don’t want to emphasize that roundness, so I keep the liner on the outside corner to emphasize length. step 2. I draw a straight line parallel to the ground. step 3. I draw another line, from the bottom of my eye straight up, at the angle I want my wing. step 4. connect both lines. step 5. from the furthest point, bring the liner all the way back to your first point. step 6. fill in! step 7. if you want a longer wing, you simply flick your liner from the wing you’ve already created. I used CLIO - Waterproof Pen Liner Kill which I like because it’s VERY sharp, but a softer black color. if you’re just learning how to do wings this is a good option!
