Is this luxury $225 facial kit worth it?
I was INCREDIBLY lucky to be gifted this Med Spa facial kit AND the Supernatural Anti-aging Facial kit by Tata Harper!! Review on Supernatural coming soon. When it comes to luxury skincare, I don’t buy it. 1) Money is tight, especially with Covid etc. and 2) I have always thought there’s not much difference between a $30 serum and a $150 serum. We always hear you get what you pay for but I don’t think that’s true the majority of the time. HOWEVER, this kit blew me away. My experience ~~ I was so excited to get these to try out. I tried this Med Spa kit first. I love that it has several steps and I felt like I was truly getting a spa experience. Step 1- Double cleanse with the Regenerating Cleanser then the Clarifying Cleanser. Both of these are indescribable. Especially the Regenerative Cleanser. Step2- Apply thick layer of the Clarifying Mask. This is a gorgeous green color and feels really good on my face. After 20 mins, you wet your hands and gently massage as it has AHA super fruits and exfoliating Quartz Crystal sand. Step3- Hydrating Floral Essence. Plumps and allows for maximum absorption of following treatments. Step 4- Resurfacing serum and then Elixir Vitae Eye Serum. BOTH PHENOMENAL Step 5- Repairative Moisturizer and Retinoic Nutrient Face Oil. I can’t tell you guys enough how phenomenal each and every product in this box is my skin after following all the steps looked flawless my texture was even, my wrinkles and fine lines were completely filled, and the face oil was unlike any oil I have ever used. It’s a very dry oil but still moisturizing and it leaves your face feeling like perfect skin. My face still feels wonderful 2 days later. This is definitely pricey. But I think this is well worth the price of 4-5 facials, used as a treat. A special self care day. I give this 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‼️
gorgeous face palette from sephora pro 🎨
the trouble with palettes is that there might be one or two standout shades, and you get stuck with a bunch of unusable colors. not so with this SEPHORA COLLECTION - PRO Face Palette . i will admit, i was originally drawn to the shimmer highlight called ‘glitz’ 🦄 - but the other shades are also gorgeous. the palette includes: 💛 3 shimmer / highlight shades: L.A. (gold), glitz (purple iridescent), and queen (rose gold) 💛 3 blushes: premier (rose brown), after party (coral orange), red carpet (red) 💛 2 contour shades: epic (chocolate) and jet setter (medium brown) the best part about this palette is that there are 3 shade ranges - deep, medium, and light. i have the deep palette and the shades are really complimentary to my skin tone. ‘jet setter’ is on the lighter side, but all of the other shades are 💯. this palette retails for $58 at sephora, and feels like a good value. the pans are huge - 0.25oz each (for comparison, the urban decay naked shades are 0.05oz each). it’s great for when you want to pack just one face palette for a long weekend or vacation. i would recommend that you check our palette best suited for your skin tone!

Eyeliner Brush - worth it??
Eyeliner brushes can be one of the trickiest things to use when applying eye makeup. Most of us go with the provided or attached brush. To get your preferred line or shape, different eyeliner brushes come to the rescue. 🗣 Here are my tips - Simple eye defining line: eyeliner brush flat tip brush and angled bent eyeliner brush Cat eye liner: dome shaped semi flat brush, angled tip brush and angled bent eyeliner brush Winged eyeliner: angled tip brush and angled bent eyeliner brush 👁👁 I use an eyeliner brush for various reasons and the main one is to help draw a fine, chain free line. With a brush, it helps to pick up the right amount of the product and avoid wastage. A brush also avoids contamination of eyeliners that come with a brush inserted at the top of the tube. The eyeliner look that I usually have is a typical straight, close to the lash line one. And I usually use a flat tip brush to achieve this neat line look. The brush that I am using now is the flat brush from EcoTools Start the Day Beautifully Kit. With a lightweight bamboo handle and soft bristles that are made of polyester, the brush picks up the right amoun of gel liner each time and glides across the sensitive skin on my eyes easily without pricking my lashes and waterline. It is an affordable option for anyone who would like to experiment with a gel liner and brush look. A thick brush will create thick, dark lines while a thin, angled brush will give you more control and allow you to draw finer lines. This brush is of the right density for an everyday look. To draw the liner with the brush, dip the brush bristles in the pot of gel liner and wipe them on the sides to remove excess eyeliner. Start with less rather than more as you can build on the line later on. Using too much eyeliner at once can lead to smearing. To apply a basic line, close the eye you are going to apply eyeliner to gently. Begin about 1/4 of the way out from your inside corner on your top lid. Use the tip of the brush to gently and smoothly follow the lash line and trace the natural curve of your eye with the eyeliner, keeping as close to the lash line as possible. I also like to use this brush to draw a line of shadow on the lower line for a smoky eye look. To do that, I wipe the brush with a clean wet cloth and dab the brush a dark mauve or brown eyeshadow. I then tap the brush on my hand and go around my lower waterline for a soft ring of dark color.
