My go-to cleanser/EMPTY!!
One brand that I know I can always count on is Cerave. I have had success with every single product from them that I have tried. It’s a huge plus that I can literally go 1 mile from my house and grab them instead of having to wait a week for a product. I’m really bad at using up a product by the time it expires so for me to finish this gigantic bottle is a BIG DEAL!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin

How I Cleanse
Marissa_MI just started using this cleanser about 2 weeks ago and I really like it!! It really does leave my face soft and I can already see it helping keep my oiliness down. The oil hasn't gone completely away, but I no longer feel like my skin is just drowning in oil!!

Acne struggle! Don’t know what to do anymore
Hi! The first picture happened almost out of no where I don’t remember drastically changing anything in my skin care routine. I did dermaplane my skin and I have a theory I might’ve destroyed my moisture barrier and really irritated my skin! What I was originally doing Morning routine COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Night routine COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (Alternating products below) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA ZO SKIN HEALTH - Retinol Skin Brightener .5% The Ordinary - 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I have since taken out all actives and now I use CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin First picture is my original routine, rest of the photos are about a week after new routine. It’s gotten better but still not very good. I used to have clear skin and would only get small break outs. Nothing to this extreme!
Morning routine: Combo skin, hyperpigmentation
This is my morning routine generally. I have combo normal to oily skin, prone to breakouts and have a lot of post acne scarring that I am trying to improve. CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I originally used the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin and whilst I do like it, I find that I like the experience of the hydrating one more. I have been using it for about 2 weeks. If I find that the hydrating version breaks me out (which would be my biggest concern) I will likely switch between the 2 in my morning routine. The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% I have been searching for the perfect Vitamin C product for me to use for ages, and without a doubt it is this one! it does have a relatively oily finish, which can be tricky for daytime so make sure not to use too much. However this would make it hard to use if you have especially oily skin. The addition of Alpha Arbutin is awesome and good to see in The Ordinary products, since they can at times have basic formulations. I'm hoping to see continued improvement in my hyperpigmentation and scarring in regards to this product. PAULA'S CHOICE - Invisible Finish Moisture Gel I have loved this for the 3 months I have been using it! Throughout the day I have so much concern that my skin will be too oily, especially after using the 2 previous products. This product is so awesome for my combination skin, still so hydrating and it leaves you with a dewy yet matte feeling finish. I was concerned a gel moisturiser would leave me feeling dry, but it doesn't and gives me the feeling of hydration that I want out of my daytime moisturiser. PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 I love this SPF! Similarly to my moisturiser, I wanted a product that wouldn't leave me greasy and would hopefully help reduce oiliness throughout the day, and this is perfect for that. It has a slight tint which helps with white cast concerns, and leaves you feeling matte to the touch but doesn't draw out any hydration. The product also plays really well under makeup that I haven't concerned myself with trying to fit a primer in somewhere whilst using this product. Also how does one prime without compromising your suncreen anyway? Please comment how you would do that, at which stage. After moisturiser but before SPF? I have no idea. Great ingredient list as well, full of antioxidants. This is usually my morning routine, it doesn't vary too much at all. I reserve night time for my retinol and exfoliation, as well as any supplementary serums. Thanks for reading 😘
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser-oily skin friendly?
Here's the tea. I got acne. I got oily skin. I got uneven skin & want to ditch all those blemishes! This baby helped a ton. I originally got the guts to buy this after watching the king of skincare..Hyram himself! I wanted to find the foaming facial cleanser BUT my drug store didn't have it so I settled for this! It works so well. My skin doesn't feel as oily & it's very refreshing. I absolutely recommend this product for dry skin as well! When I don't use it notice that my skin kinda goes through withdrawal. I've actually been using it for about 3-4 months! And of course I want to continue to use more CeraVe products to target my acne, but right now...imma stick with what's working ♡︎

Cerave Foaming Cleanser
CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin Cerave has become a very popular skincare brand recently, and for good reason. The Cerave Foaming Cleanser is perfect for those with normal to oily skin. This product is also fragrance free and non-irritating, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin. I have used and loved this product for many years. This foaming cleanser contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide. Ceramides help retain moisture in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant so it also helps to keep the skin moisturized. Niacinamide treats a multitude of skin issues including acne and can improve skin texture and tone. This cleanser can be used in the morning and/ or evening. To use the cleanser wet your face with water, use 1 pump of product, rub it in your hands and then gently massage your face and rinse with water.

Where have you been all my life cleanser
I cannot believe it took me till I was 35 to discover this. Stupid me using over drying products probably on they same shelf not even knowing. It's so cheap too given the quantity, it is about $15. This does wonders for my acne prone skin and really helps keep my moisture barrier happy, which is so key. Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Foaming Cleanser's gently foams to deeply cleanse without disrupting the natural skin protective barrier. This refreshing gel, with 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, effectively removes excess oil, dirt, and makeup.
Cerave Acne Cream Foaming Cleanser
This cleanser is 🥛🕊🍼CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser Cerave Acne Cream Foaming Facial Cleanser 4% Benzoyl peroxide is a gentle yet effective way to treat acne! Most benzoyl peroxide washes, creams or gels are way to harsh on the skin so that why I recommend the Cerave one. It has great ingredients to hydrate the skin such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 ( niaciniamde) to sooth redness and hydrate your skins barrier. This is dye free and fragrance free which is great for sensitive and acne prone skin. The texture is a watery cream and foam. I absolutely love this cleanser and would recommend to anyone struggling with acne. I hope this helps! Feel free to ask any questions for me to answer in the comments ↧↧↧

AND WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
First things first - FOLLOW ME 💙 it means the world. CERAMIDES! The backbone of CeraVe. But what are they and why are they important? Ceramides are lipids (oils) found naturally in the skin and help support the skin barrier and retaining moisture in the skin. Making up 50% of the skin's lipied bi-layer, ceramides help strengthen the protective skin barrier. If ceramide levels are low, the skin's barrier can become compromised and can lead to dry, irritated skin. Ceramides help to strengthen the skin's natural barrier and keep moisture from escaping. Ceramides in skincare is beneficial for all skin types. Since I ditched my high-end skincare and introduced a CeraVe cleanser and moisturiser into my routine, my skin has been incredible!! I have very oily/acne prone skin and have noticed an improvement in overall skin health.
