This is one of those love it or hate it products. When searching for reviews, you will see all kinds but they are normally 1 ⭐️ or 5 ⭐️. If I would have reviewed this after the first time I used it, I would not have given it 5 ⭐️’s at all. This is a product I believe you should research and truly learn about the ingredients and how to use correctly. I’ll do that for you in this post. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

LindseyRRI would recommend starting with something a bit more gentle like the glycolic acid toner or the Lactic Acid. Once your skin is used to those you could definitely try it! If you do, I’d only go about 5 mins twice a week max and build up to the 10 mins.

I need help in finding out what this is and how I can clear up my skin! 😩😩😩 Thank you ! xxx

The BEST skincare product ever! AHA peel!
The BEST skincare product ever! AHA peel!
Hi all! I’m so late to join this trend but I have found a holy grail! For the past two months I have been using The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution which I have fallen in love with and I’d love to share! What is the AHA peel? This product is a 10 minute exfoliating facial that contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) which exfoliates the top layer of skin to brighten the skin and give you a more youthful, glowy look. It’s a very deep exfoliation method which also gets the gunks from your acne and pores cleaned out. This product is red and also looks like you put blood on your face! Did I see results? As this product is quite overhyped I was unsure whether it truly was a great product and not just a tik tok trend. 100% this is a legitimate mask! I saw dark spots that I have had for many months and just take so long to go away, I truly saw after 2 uses of the mask I saw very significant brightening which I was so suprised about. My pores were less apparent and there was less congestion all over my face. It definitely is my holy grail and will stay there. I have never seen results so quickly from a single product. Side effects? As this is a very potent and intense product you may notice some irritation if you have very sensitive skin which you should stop straight away if it is painful - you will experience some tingling but it never should be painful. Also NEVER leave it on for more than 10 minutes otherwise you will damage your skin. Always wear a sunscreen as the skin on your face will be more prone and sensitive to the sun! How often and when should I use it? I recommend using it once a week maximum due to being such a strong product, I feel as though using it more than once a week will damage your skin significantly due to the formula. Using it every Sunday night is what I do, I prefer doing it at night rather than in the daylight due to the products sensitivity to the sun! Even if you do it at 4pm, please ensure you put sunscreen on to avoid severe irritation. How to apply it? I would say applying it about 10 minutes after you’ve washed your face - free from dirt, oil and makeup. This will allow the product to penetrate deeply into your skin which means better results for you! Just a thin amount will be fine there is no need to do a thick layer with this product as it’s not a clay mask. Please comment if you have tried it/or going to try it! I would love to answer questions if you are hesitant about purchasing. Thanks for reading! :)

So you want to start using the AHA BHA peel...
So you want to start using the AHA BHA peel...
So you want to start using the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ?Whether it be from TikTok or Skincare by Hyram I’ve never seen an item blow up at work quite like this one. I’ve recommend this a lot in the past but I wanted to give it a quick proper post and recommended use. This chemical exfoliating mask offers both the outer layer exfoliation of an AHA and the deep pores cleaning power of a BHA. Personally, I think all skin types can benefit from this product but especially those that are oily or acne prone (the only skin type I probably wouldn’t recommend is sensitive). This mask targets texture, pore congestion, uneven skin tone, and signs of aging. First, always do a patch test! Especially if you’re a beginner to using acids in your routine. If you pass that then it’s time to cleanse the face. After cleansing you need to make sure your skin is bone dry. Water is a penetration enhancer and you don’t want this mask sinking deeper into the skin than normal. You want to apply an even layer over the skin and wait no more than ten minutes (if you’re a beginner to acids I would probably start with five and slowly work your way up to ten as your face gets used to the mask). The Ordinary recommends using this mask no more than twice a week but I personally would recommend just once because it is on the stronger side. Rinse, and apply the rest of your routine. You also may be asking “is there anything I can’t pair with this mask”? Yes! I would stay away from any other AHAs, BHAs, Retinol, and Vitamin C applications in the same routine as the mask. You just revealed a fresher, newer layer of skin and you don’t want to sensitize it with too many “harsh” products. When I use this I always stick to niacimiade and more hydrating (fragrance free.. I learned that the hard way once after a peel mask) products. You may also be asking “is there any up keep after using this mask”? Yes! You need to be using a sunscreen. NEED. Like this is non negotiable. You’re revealing fresher skin and that skin needs to be protected. If not you’re putting yourself back at risk for sun damage, hyper pigmentation, and more fine lines/wrinkles down the line. If you’re not using a sunscreen everyday after using a product like it’s counter productive. Personally, this mask does wonders for my skin. I’ve heard some people say it tingles but on me it doesn’t (but my face is used to acids). If you feel absolute burning wash it off immediately and asses your skin. It’s a peel so it does have potential to burn if you’re not careful. I’ve seen a reduction on the appearance of pores and a more even complexion with weekly use. It’s also worth noting too The Ordinary doesn’t recommend use of this on flaking or broken skin.

I’ve been using the ordinary L
I’ve been using the ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA for a few weeks now. I used to be scared to give acids a try because I thought they would destroy my sensitive skin and basically burn it off. But I’m happy to say that I’ve been very lucky with this product as my skin has improved so much ever since I started using it. My face feels smoother (I used to have a lot of dry, rough patches), supple and I’ve been experiencing less breakouts (was not expecting this as an effect but I’m not complaining)! I think I felt some slight tingling during the first few uses but it wasn’t irritating, so I think this would be great for those who are wanting to try acids for the first time. Overall, this product is not only effective but also very affordable! Win-win! ☺️

My thoughts on this......
My thoughts on this......
So I actually got this about 8 months ago (before it got super famous on tiktok) and I actually really disliked it at first. Cause when I used it the first couple times i used it at a time when my skin was pretty sensitive and it made my face all red and unhealthy looking. And I was like I’m never using this again. Ya so basically I’m really dumb😂 BUT I started using it recently for the past month or so and I’ve been really enjoying it! Just like when my pores feel really congested or I feel really oily this really helps to unclog them and it gives me a not a “squeaky clean” feeling but it makes me feel fresh if that makes sense😅. I haven’t seen any very dramatic changes in the appearance of my skin but it does help. Plus I think with this product it’s something that u have to use consistently to see really good life changing results. I do have to say tho my sister who has recently been struggling with acne and acne scarring this I have noticed has really been helping her with that. I can just see that her skin looks brighter and she has been getting less breakouts😊 Let’s get to how to use this: I use this 1 time a week because it’s VERY strong and I leave it on for 10mins max. I do not recommend this if you have very sensitive, cracked or dry skin. as I said before this is a VERY strong chemical exfoliant so if you have not used chemical exfoliants before I DEFINITELY do not encourage you to use this. Just know just cause something is trending or has helped other people it does not always mean it will work for you cause everyone has different skin. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Looking like Stephen King’s “Carrie” 🩸
Looking like Stephen King’s “Carrie” 🩸
This product has A LOT of hype, with good reason though. I have seriously sensitive skin, apple cider vinegar burns my skin, witch hazel leaves me dry and red, african black soap gave me a sulfur burn, I get burns so easily its like a second nature 🙃 Naturally, I was hesitant and a bit afraid to try this product, thinking that it would burn and leave my face super red. 😬 However, it didn’t! I was extremely (pleasantly) surprised that when I slathered it all over my face I only felt a tiny bit of a tingling sensation, but not burning at all. Overall, my skin has seen a huge improvement over the two weeks I have been using it and I plan to continue to use it. 🙌🏻❤️❤️ TUE / SAT in the PM for 10 mins ONLY on DRY face. My skin is brighter, more even, I have less blemishes and my skin is becoming more hydrated with the other products I’m using as well. Do I like it? YESSS! I’m about two weeks into using it (twice weekly) and I have noticed so much improvement in my skin texture and my acne. I’m not using any acne medication right now and my skin is GLOWING. I’m beyond excited to see how my skin looks after two weeks more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price? The price is pretty cheap, its too good to pass up on ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended for? I would recommend this for all skin types except super sensitive skin, its worth giving it a try, but you have to be super careful not to hurt your skin. Its very important to do a patch test first to make sure your skin is going to be okay and to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. Do NOT exceed 10 mins and do NOT use on a wet face. Overall thoughts? Honestly, I think this is a hyped product worth the hype. It has seriously helped my sensitive / acne-prone skin and I actually look forward to using it every TUE and SAT. I normally don’t like acids, but this is a great product with visible results. Just give it some time to work and follow the directions to protect your skin from damage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Daucus Carota Sativa Extract, Propanediol, Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Salicylic Acid, Potassium Citrate, Lactic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.

It took me long enough to appr
It took me long enough to appreciate the beauty of this exfoliating acid from Deciem . I stopped using it during those months that my skin is at its worst because it stings like hell. It was an impulse buy without even researching about it. . 🍇 So when my skin got a little better which is only recently. I started using this again and was surprised that it no longer stings. It has an after-use glow effect and smoothens my skin. As per the lightening effect, I didn't see much effect JUST YET because I only use it once a week alternately with my other exfoliants. I am thrilled to really see what more it can do. . 🍇 Important Note : This acid is highly concentrated and not for everyone especially with extra sensitive skin. Do not use it if you have active break outs or suffering from severe acne. Do not leave it for more than 10 minutes or it might burn your skin. . Are you also planning to try this? I suggest you do 😉
