The Best AM Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin
I am someone with extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. I have spent many years trying to find the right skincare routine that works for my skin type. After years of trial and error, I have found this routine has given me the best results. My skin is much smoother, even, and I am noticing a lot less breakouts. 1) I tend to wake up with oily skin so I like to start with a hydrating cleanser likeLA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. It is very gentle, non comedogenic and great for sensitive skin. The milky face cleanser keeps your skin hydrated. I like that my skin doesn’t feel tight after using this cleanser. It is formulated with Prebiotic Thermal Water, Ceramide-3, Niacinamide, and Glycerin. 2) Next, I like to use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator three times a week right after I cleanse. BHA is great for normal to oily skin that's prone to bumps, blemishes, clogs and enlarged pores. BHA is a natural exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and helps clear and minimizes large pores. The salicylic acid is known to fight bacteria and helps target acne as well. 3) Then I use PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide BoosterNiacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 which helps with redness, reduce pore size, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, and rough and dry skin. It has a really light texture which I love. This is also great for those who struggle with acne because Niacinamide reduces inflammation. 4) I follow up with a SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Seruma combination of ferulic acid and pure vitamin C and E to help protect against environmental damage. It is a little pricey but worth it. Vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and also works to firm and brighten your complexion. It is a little sticky when you first apply and has a stronger smell but I don’t mind it and the smell fades shortly after application. BHA, Niacinamide, and Vitamin C can all be used together with no problems. 5) Next, I will moisturize with elta md SKINCARE - AM Therapy Facial Moisturizerwhich is great for sensitive skin. It’s also very light and increases moisture absorption. If your budget allows, I also highly recommend Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment. It keeps my skin hydrated and has a lot of peptides, brighteners, and antioxidants that work to soothe redness, inflammation, brightens, fade dark spots, and increase production of collagen. 6) Finally I make sure to end with SPF at least 50+. I like to use colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 SunscreenIt’s lightly tinted but blends real well into all skin tones. It’s not thick like most sunscreens which I really like.

NIACINAMIDE?! I HARDLY KNOW HER! ✨
Niacinamide, what even is it ?! This product seems to be recommended non stop, and with such at such an affordable entry point from The Ordinary ($5.90) it seems to make sense to pick it up even if you aren’t really sure what it is or does. I couldn’t even pronounce niacinamide before a few weeks ago so I wanted to do some research and figure out what all the hype is about. So let’s talk break it down ✨Niacinamide is a multifunctional skincare superstar with several proven benefits for the skin! ✨ Niacinamide also called nicotinamide is a form of Vitamin B-3 , Niacinamide can boost collagen production as well as the production of keratin, filaggrin and involcurin (These are important proteins for your skin). If your skin is lacking these proteins it can mean poor skin structure, reduced skin elasticity and more wrinkles, which I don’t think any of us want! ✨ Niacinamide can help fade hyperpigmentation. If you are targeting dark spots in your skincare routine combining Niacinamide with Acetyl Glucosamine will give even better results 🤩 You can also combine Niacinamide with Vitamin C, Arbutin or Kojic Adic to promote the production of tyrosinase an enzyme that plays an important role in melanin production ✨Niacinamide has skin barrier repair functions, by increasing the production of free fatty acids, cholesterol and ceramics. This results in better hydrated skin, decrease trans epidermal water loss and ultimately a stronger and healthier skin barrier. And lastly, ✨ Niacinamide has anti acne properties in its abilities to regulate sebum, and it’s anti inflammatory properties which is also useful for minimizing rosacea as well as atopic dermatitis. So basically, Niacinamide is a total holy grail ingredient and I would definitely recommend incorporating it into your skincare routine. One thing to note is potency, less is really more in this situation, 5% niacinamide has show positive results in all above mentioned categories without causing skin irritation, personally I use 10% and wouldn’t recommend going any higher then that especially if you are new to the product. 🌿 Skincare is a marathon, not a sprint so take it slow and aim for long term results over a quick fix 🌿 I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% But a couple other options are: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum

Finally, I Found The RIGHT Moisturizers For My Skin😏
I have combination-oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin and after several years of research and experimenting, I finally found some moisturizers and facial creams suitable for my skin. I look for skincare products that are antioxidant, control acne breakouts, repair the skin barrier, improve skin immunity, correct skin tone, and remove acne marks. 1) TOPIX - Replenix Restorative Nighttime Bio-Therapy Main features: It offers antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and calming effects, and helps in skin restoration and stabilization. Main ingredients: Green tea polyphenols are beneficial soothing and anti-inflammatory agents, while 3% niacinamide helps to improve the skin barrier. This is a good enough reason for people with combination-oily, acne-prone skin to choose this product. My irregular daily routine and diet triggers acne breakouts easily and I can never refrain from popping my acne, so I really can't do without anti-inflammatory and restoration skincare. It also contains resveratol and caffeine which are both great at correcting skin tone. It has a smooth texture and it leaves your skin with a matte finish. Attention: Use it after your toner and serum are fully absorbed by gently patting it onto the skin to prevent it from balling up. 2) elta md SKINCARE - AM Therapy Facial Moisturizer Main features: It is moisturizing, offers shine control, corrects skin tone, and reduces acne marks. It's really suitable for combination-oily and sensitive skin. Its main ingredient, nicotinamide, helps in reducing acne scars and correcting skin tone while white willow bark extract leaves the skin smooth and soft. Many say that this moisturizer has a skin lightening effect, but I think that's an exaggeration. It also says that it enhances skin color on the bottle, but I personally think that it only evens skin tone. It has an ice cream texture which spreads and absorbs easily. It's also affordable and feels amazing on the skin. 3) Aesop - B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel Main features: It lightens acne marks, brightens skin complexion, and calms red and inflamed acne. I use it mainly to reduce acne marks and it shows amazing results, visibly reducing my acne marks the next day. It also soothes new acne and boosts skin radiance. It has a gel-like texture, so it doesn't spread easily. I usually use it two to three times a week after first applying a toner and then a serum.
* the images above were taken with flash i used to be really self conscious about my skin, but over time i’ve learned to deal with it. overall my skin has improved since my teens (unfortunately any pictures of my skin during my teens are either deleted, nonexistent, or severely edited) but sometimes i feel like getting the 100% clear skin that i want is impossible. i decided to share these images because 1. i haven’t posted in quite awhile (school, sorry!) 2. i experienced a painful under the skin pimple for the first time around my nose yesterday (which frustrates me because i know it’s due to the excess sebum my skin has been producing lately and idk why it’s producing so much 🙃 maybe the humidity?) 3. i feel more comfortable in this environment since i know that there are others facing the same frustrations as i am so i wanted to remind everyone that you’re not alone ✨ during quarantine i’ve been using the bare minimum (along with my prescription meds) because i felt that my skin was overwhelmed: By Wishtrend - Acid-Due 2 Mild Gel Cleanseralternating with: PanOxyl - Acne Creamy Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 4% Daily Control COSRX - Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion in short, i feel like this routine is almost too simplistic to target all my skin concerns. at this point, my skin is ready to be slowly introduced to new products. i’m currently drafting a new skin care routine for myself that targets hyperpigmentation and oil balance. i haven’t made any final decisions but i might be purchasing these products to use in conjunction with my prescribed spironolactone and tretinoin cream: acne.org - Acne.org Cleanser- i just needed a basic cleanser with nothing special about it so that all the work can be done by the products i layer after facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10- to target excess sebum production, acne, and hyperpigmentation elta md SKINCARE - AM Therapy Facial Moisturizer- i’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand and by the looks of it this moisturizer will be suitable for AM and PM use. the formulation also looks simple to me, which is a bonus because i’m aiming for a routine that causes minimal irritation so i can be consistent + some bipoc owned skincare brands! i’m always open to opinions and suggestions. has your skin fluctuated a lot during quarantine as well?

My Skincare Routine for Glowy Skin✨💖 no makeup!
As I’m working from home these days and rarely ever need to do video calls anymore, I don’t really see the need to put on makeup (crazy- i know)! This is my current daytime skincare routine for glowy skin without makeup! In order: fresh - Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence I love this facial treatment from Fresh because it’s hydrating, packed with lactic acid and is a great “primer” for the rest of my skincare to help absorb products better! SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel A superb hyaluronic acid with B5. It’s extremely hydrating, great for plumping up the skin and definitely feels like a tall glass of water for my skin! SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum A hero Vitamin C serum with L-Ascorbic Acid to boost the effects of the vitamin C and E. It brightens the skin and is packed with anti-oxidants to treat the hyperpigmentation and scarring. Say hello to brighter and smoother skin! ISLE OF PARADISE - Self Tanning Drops As a naturally very pale person, I definitely feel that adding some tanning drops into my skincare helps make me look more put together and also makes tinted moisturizer and foundation feel more optional on most days. It just helps to even out the skin tone a little (as my face is much lighter than the rest of my body) and gives a subtle bronze glow. I mix 2-3 drops of this into my moisturizer once a week! Avène - Skin Recovery Cream The holy grail face cream I discovered this summer. I love this cream because it’s not super runny, gel-like or thick and definitely feels moisturizing on the skin. There are no actives in it and its main ingredient is Thermal Spring Water which is known to calm the skin and treat inflammation. It’s a great moisturizer that does the job and won’t hurt your wallet! I’ve recommended this to every single one of my friends! SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 Sunscreen! Of course I had to include sunscreen. It’s the ultimate skincare product that protects your skin from sun damage over time (it doesn’t matter whether you’re indoor/outdoor all day or not). This sunscreen is super lightweight, blends into my skin seamlessly without pilling and leaves an amazing glow on the skin. Forget the highlighter and wear sunscreen! Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40 When I feel like I want even more of a glow, I turn to this! It has chemical SPF in it which is great because it’s just additional protection you’re applying to your face. It’s creamy, glowy and doesn’t leave a white cast on your face! I usually apply this only to my cheekbones because I get glowy in my T-zone throughout the day anyways.

Bye, Light Moisturizer! Hello, Nourishing Cream
We’re shifting from summer to autumn in my locale, which means the air will be dry and the temperature will be dropping. I’ll be switching to more hydrating sunscreens, but the biggest change in my sensitive skin routine is shifting moisturizers. I have combination skin that gets very shiny in the humid summer, but I also have eczema which keeps my skin a bit pink and dry in the cooler seasons, so I switch my lightweight daytime moisturizer out for a bouncy gel-cream and an oil that I can layer on my drier spots! • Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment is a packed moisturizer- peptides, antioxidants, ceramide NP, and soothing ingredients like bisabolol make it amazing, though I don’t find the actual results after use particularly worth the $109 USD price tag. It was gifted and while I enjoyed it for summer, I found my cheeks got dry easily and my skin wasn’t particularly more firm or bright in the long run. This is too light for dry skin, or for my winter skin, so instead I’ll be switching to a combo of... • NATURIUM - Niacinamide Gel Cream 5% is a deliciously thick gel, consisting primarily of niacinamide and a slew of humectants suspended in water and silicone. The result? An intensely hydrating yet lightweight moisturizer that leaves skin silky and plump without shine or heaviness. It’s perfect in the summer with its $20 USD price tag, but using oil to seal in all of the watery goodness is going to be perfect for autumn and winter! • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is heaven-sent for its luscious moisture. It sinks in quickly, leaves a satin finish that feels velvety to the touch, and never causes me to break out. Perfect for layering in my driest areas, and for using all over my face as the air gets drier and drier! I’ve tried multiple oils but this one has yet to be beat for how daytime-friendly it is. It’s a bit pricy though at $72 USD, so I’m excited to try out the Naturium VMO soon. #CheriePartner
Best Discovery of 2020!
This brand is best discovery of 2020 for me! How? I’ll tell you. 2020 has been really tough year for all of us, it has caused so much stress. Stress plus not having a healthy diet( I binge on chips a lot) ain’t doing good to my skin, my skin gets texture and had become dull because of all of it. I started using Allies of skin products 2 months back, I have been using their Mandelic Acid Serum & Triple Hyaluronic Acid Serum which I have reviewed previously and their Silk Amino hydrating cleanser & Peptides and Antioxidants moisture which I’ll be reviewing today. 𝘗𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 & 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘹𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵: This is a daily moisturising treatment to firm and repair damaged skin. It is packed with powerhouse ingredients such as multiple peptides, 7 Brighteners, 9 Antioxidants, 16.5% Repair Complex, this helps stimulate collagen production, restores skin barrier & protects against environmental stressors. I use it in my morning routine after Rose water or after vit C serum; followed by SPF. It’s perfect for my dry skin and don’t feel need to add additional layer of oil or moisturiser over it. The texture is lightweight and nourishes skin without making it greasy. This one is about to get over & it would be a really sad empty! I love this moisturiser so much, I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I’ll repurchase it during sale definitely! Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘬 𝘈𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘏𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳: This is a gentle foaming cleanser. It starts pf as a gel but foams once you add water. It’s almost like a double cleanse in one bottle. It has so many amazing ingredients like Silk Amino Acid, Organic Safflower Oil, Ethylated L-ascorbic Acid, Licorice Root Extract & Lactic Acid which is gentler than most AHAs, which helps brighten and hydrate dry, dull skin. It feels so luxurious and nourishing at the same time. It leaves my skin silky soft, supple and brighter. Allies of Skin - MOLECULAR SILK AMINO HYDRATING CLEANSER

My new skincare routine
Since I’ve been introduced to this brand , i can simply tell how they’ve made my life a way better ❤️ i like the new routine , it works for me & I’m so glad to have followed all the tips . #paulaschoice, i wishes i had used them sooner, but never too late . I starting using these products a few weeks now, and the toner PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator has almost eliminated the sebum buildup and reduced the size of my pores. I also like the cleanser PAULA'S CHOICE - Defense Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser is very fantastic, not drying, and very pleasant to use . Also, the retinol cream moistures PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer, 50ml without leaving an oily skin. Definitely ordering more during the winter.
My faves for acne and skin renewal 💖
I have spent less than 6 months researching skincare and I already feel like such a skincare junkie. For reference, I live in Australia and I find that a lot of skincare I would love to try (particularly Korean skincare) is not so easily accessible. That said, these are the products that I have been most impressed with and have had obvious results in my routine: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator This is a relatively new one, has been about a month. I know that this product, being an exfoliant, takes at least that long since skin cell turn over takes a minimum of 4 weeks. That said, I began noticing visible and textural differences within a couple of uses. Very excited to see the progress in a couple more months. I highly recommend this product for anyone to try, it is very gentle for an exfoliant. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This product has been the most life-changing for my skin, it has changed the texture of my skin and the appearance of my pores, and I have been using this raved about product/ingredient since the beginning of my skincare journey, about 5 months. From what I have seen this product is either super popular and recommended, or people love niacinamide (and can you blame them, it's good for everyone!) but they enjoy other niacinamide products more than The Ordinary one. Whilst they say that niacinamide is perfectly effective from 5% potency, this product at 10% has been so great for me, and you can't really be mad at that price point. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I have normal to oily skin, but mostly in the normal range. Whilst this product is marketed towards people with dry skin or conditions like eczema, but I have really enjoyed this as a hydrating night moisturiser. I would be very interested to try the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream as it is more suitable for my skin type, if only it weren't double the price for the same amount. In any case, I love the feeling and experience of this product and I always wake up feeling super glowy. The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane I noticed a difference the very first day after using this product of a night time, it was that quick. I am still using this percentage of Retinol, and I have been careful in the beginning about the frequency of using it, at first being once a week and often mixing it with moisturiser. Now I use this product about twice a week. These are my favourite treatment products to use of a night time, along with my usual night cleanser, the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I may soon upload my morning routine and also my occasional treatments, exfoliants and masks. 😚
holy grail sunscreen
colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 Sunscreen absolutely obsessed; oddly want to apply this every time I look in the mirror lol it makes your skin look so pretty and plump i’ve started wearing it just by itself or mixing it with my foundation

Pre-Workout VS Post-Workout Skincare Routine 💪
So recently I’ve started working out in the mornings before I sign on for work and it’s changed my LIFE. It’s also changed up the sequence of my morning routine. Here’s how it goes... ✨ PRE-WORKOUT ✨ Gotta get my night’s routine off my face and whatever else managed to get on my face through the night lol so I reach for my go-to: DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil Now this may be controversial so take everything I say with a grain of salt (I’ve not a professional lol!) but I don’t apply moisturizer... I just got straight to the sunscreen! Partly because I wear a mask while running out side, and the other part is due to me not wanting to waste product since I’ll be washing my face after my workout too. Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 This is not my favorite product tbh.... it stings my eyes while running and when I wash it off. But I’m using it for now until I run out. Anyone have a favorite sunscreen they’d like to share?!! ✨ POST WORKOUT ✨ I’m alllllll sweaty, so I go in with my favorite gentle cleanser! LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser Then spray my fave “toner” all over my face HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray Followed by my fave morning eye cream!!! This stuff literally makes my under eyes plum and pretty Glossier. - Bubblewrap Eye + Lip Plumping Cream And my holy grail moisturizer! COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream
Skincare on a Budget: Best Drugstore Cleansers
Now if you’re a student like me than budgeting can be difficult and finding affordable but effective products can prove to be a challenge. Now I’ve tried many products to help recommend various products and save you the time and money. —Dry Skin— Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gentle Cleansing Lotion This is definitely one of the better products of the hydro boost line from Neutrogena. Some of the other hydro boost products contain potentially irritating ingredients while this one doesn’t. -Easy to use and formula is soothing. -Fragrance-free. -Does a very good job of cleansing skin from dirt, oil, and non-waterproof makeup. -Isn’t effective for long-wear makeup, but a double cleanse system is always recommended for makeup wearers. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser This is a personal favorite cleanser for dry skin because of how effective it is. It’s amazing how well it cleanses skin without overly stripping it which I know is important for people with dry skin. -Fragrance free -It had glycerin which is a humectant, meaning it helps maintain moisture. -It also has niacinamide, ceramides, and gentle surfactants that won’t overly strip the skin. —Combination Skin— earthtoskin - Super Greens Nourshing Face Cleanser This is for more combination to oily skin. It contains some amazing ingredients for a really great price point. This product can be found at Walmart which is very accessible. -It has glycerin which is a great humectant and coco glucoside, a very good surfactant ideal for cleansers. -It also contains very soothing and hydrating extracts such as kale, broccoli, and cucumber extracts. -It does have fragrance but it’s not that big of a deal since a cleanser is a wash off treatment. Simple - Micellar Gel Wash Now this is a recommendation for more combination to dry skin, but it is amazing for all skin types. Although the ingredient list is simple, it is very effective for cleansing. -Fragrance-free -Very affordable and accesible —Oily Skin— CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin This is an amazing product for oily skin and really lives up to its reputation. It’s really good for cleansing the skin of oil and dirt without leaving the skin feeling dry. -Fragrance-free and free of any other irritating ingredients. -Contains gentle cleansing agents and rinses without leaving any residue. -Includes niacinamide which is great for oil control and hyaluronic acid for plumping the skin. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser This product cleanses effectively without skin feeling overly stripped. -Fragrance-free. -Glycerin and coco glucoside, a very effective but gentle surfactant. I hope this helps you to find your affordable cleanser!
Naturium - Affordable brand with amazing results
I'm giving my #friyayfaves with @theglowgirl early on Thursday! I just couldn't wait to drop in these new favorites 😁❤️ I'm using @naturium since it's June and I'm seeing amazing results with it so far... This has become my favorite brand at the moment. As you know I'm using @curology since few months, I wanted a brand and products that will work well with my prescribed formula and I wanted products for my morning routine that won't worsen my skin. I'm so happy to have found and used @naturium for my morning routine. It changed my skin game for real! ✨ These are the products I could swear by, they're great formulas and are effective! My favorite one is : ✨ Niacinamide serum 12% plus Zinc 2% NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% - This formula is the best one I've found in the market, it's light, non-greasy and absorbs in a jiff. This serum doesn't sting or irritate and the best part is the results I experienced with it! It brightened my Hyperpigmentation, reduced skin texture and the look of my pores is almost gone. The best part is the price, it's really inexpensive. I'm a fan of this product now. ✨ Vitamin C super serum plus NATURIUM - Vitamin C Super Serum Plus - This serum has Vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid and Salicylic acid! I didn't know how my sensitive skin would react to this concoction, but let me tell you this formula is the best one when it comes to incorporating these many ingredients in just one use 🙌💖 It didn't irritate my skin, it's surprisingly very stable on face and the best thing is it's tecture and consistency. It's similar to Niacinamide serum, thin, hydrating formula that gets absorbed quickly. The results with this are great! It brightens the complexion, tightens skin and hence it glows! Love this product! ✨ Hyaluronic acid essence 2% NATURIUM - Hyaluronic Acid Essence 2% - This has made me fall in love with essences. I have Oily/Combination Acne prone skin and it's not dehydrated. I never felt the need of Hyaluronic acid in my regimen. And on top of that never felt like using an essence before. This essence has changed my thoughts about it. It's a watery, slightly viscous liquid that has the perfect slip and feels really very hydrating. It preps my skin for the next serums and creams. I can't go with skincare routine without this now. I like the way my products layer and I see the suppleness and bounce to my skin the next morning, this is all worth it. I have an amazing experience with this brand the products I tried! Have you tried @naturium?? 💖✨🙌 .

Hey Babes!! 👋🏼 My skin hasn’t looked this good in so long, so I want to share with you my regimen for oily skin 😍😍😍. CLEANSERS: So daily in the morning and evening I either use the Murad - Essential-C Cleanser or the Shira - Pure Eucalyptus Cleanser . I find myself using the Murad 🍊 cleanser during the morning ☀️ more often because the vitamin c has antioxidants and brightens the skin. Plus it smells AMAZING!! The Shira cleanser has eucalyptus 🌱 which is great for oily or acneic skin because it has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties!! It also smells like you’re stepping into a spa and doesn’t irritate the skin. 😍 The Shira brand is also organic, natural and vegan friendly. 🙌🏼 In the evening 🌝 I will double cleanse with these products too in no specific order. 😂 EXFOLIATOR: SKIN SCRIPT - Raspberry Refining Cleanser I use every 3/4 days when my skin feels dull. MOISTURIZER: I’ve always been a Murad fan 💙💙, so my go to is their Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel !! (Not pictured) I’ve posted about this before and why I like it. It leaves my face baby soft and since it’s water based, my skin isn’t left looking oily. I use this daily in the morning and evening. MORNING DAILY SERUM: I recently discovered a great new brand and love their vitamin c serum. insta natural - Triple Strength Vitamin C Serum !! This serum is very lightweight and contains niacinamide to balance oil production and glycolic acid to exfoliate and remove dead skin leaving a gorgeous glow. 🌟✨ the vitamin c has antioxidants to prevent free radicals which damaged your skin causing wrinkles and fine lines. It also brightens your skin if you have any acne scars or dark spots. 😍🥰 EVENING DAILY SERUM: I’m loving YEOUTH - Retinol, 2.5% Serum ! Aside from retinol, this serum has Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid. The aloe will soother and the Hyaluronic Acid attracts moisture to your skin so it’s not left dry. 💧 💧. Retinol is great because it’s a form of vitamin A that exfoliates. It’s gentle enough for daily use and does not irritate my skin. Because this does have aloe Vera, the serum applies sticky, but dries smooth. I like using this at night because that’s the time your skin will start to heal and regenerate (another reason why it’s important to double cleanse). SUNSCREEN: A must!!! Anytime you exfoliate, you need to wear sunscreen!!I’ve been using MDSolarSciences - Mineral Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 50 UVA-UVB Sunscreen over 2 years now and it’s my go to. This physical sunscreen doesn’t clog pores and doesn’t leave a white cast. It leaves your skin looking matte, which is oily skin people love. 😍😍 I hope this helps you and inspires everyone to start their own regimen!! Please comment with any questions! ❤️❤️ Xoxo, Blyssey #cheriecreator
I Finally Get Rid of Acnes...
SKINCEUTICALS - Hydrating B5 Gel Hydrating Gel With Hyaluronic Acid With high concentrations of Vitamin B5 (restores and binds moisture to the skin for balanced hydration), it's famous for being able to repair damaged skin tissue. It's very runny and I usually use a full dropper for the whole face. It creates a mild tingling sensation which dissipates in a minute. It's safe for sensitive and oily skin, doesn't cause breakouts, is refreshing, airy-light, and doesn't ball up when applying makeup afterwards. SKINCEUTICALS - Phyto Corrective Gel Hydrating Botanical Gel It's really suitable for sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. It's anti-inflammatory, whitening, moisturizing, and lightens acne scars at the same time. It's refreshing, oil-free, and helps to calm and soothe irritated skin. SKINCEUTICALS - Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum It's advertised to improve the visible appearance of firmness, smoothness, and facial plumpness, and it contains alcohol, but I still finished using it. It's refreshing, anti-allergic and doesn't cause breakouts, but it doesn't show an obvious result in tightening and lifting either. I still think that using skin care appliances is more effective in tightening the skin, while serum and facial cream are only for assisting.

Ingredients to Fight PIH 💥
If you're like me than once you get a pimple you KNOW you're going to be dealing with the dark mark, or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), that it leaves behind. I've had acne since I was a young teen and have been dealing with fighting these stubborn marks for over 10 years now, here are the ingredients that I look for and how I use them! Vitamin C - an antioxidant, it works to help your skin regenerate and repair damaged cells. The number one goal when fighting pigmentation issues is to speed up the skin's natural regeneration process, so that the damaged cells are sloughed off and replaced with healthy cells. Vitamin C is also inhibits melanin production, so your skin will have a harder time making dark spots when you get a pimple. It will help to brighten the skin, without changing your natural pigmentation! We all about brightening here, not bleaching or lightening the skin! My favorite Vitamin C products are the BeautyStat COSMETICS - Universal C Skin Refiner , SKINCEUTICALS - Phloretin Cf and VICHY - LiftActiv Vitamin C Brightening Skin Corrector . All three have great percentages of Vitamin C an use L-ascorbic acid, it's the purest form of vitamin c. The BeautyStat Vitamin C is my favorite because it's the highest percentage, so it works quickly, and it is extremely stable. Some people are sensitive to vitamin C and should use lower percentages or less pure forms! I only use Vitamin C in my morning routine as some of the products in the night routine don't play nice with it! It also can further protect the skin from UV rays when paired with SPF. Niacinamide - a form of vitamin B3 and an antioxidant, like Vit C. So not only does it help to lighten the skin, but it also reduces skin inflammation and acne! What that means is it helps to fight the cause of PIH while also fighting the effect. It improves the skin's barrier function for overall healthier skin! I use the PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment it's a powerhouse treatment that combines niacinamide with other skin lightening ingredients - tranexamic acid, kojic acid, alpha arbutin and pentapeptide. I use this treatment at night in conjunction with my tretinoin treatment. Niacinamide and tretinoin are a match made in heaven and are both absolutely necessary in my PIH fighting routine. Niacinamide can help to alleviate the side effects of retinoids. Retinoids - a derivative of vitamin A, it's a key nutrient for cell turnover! It will brighten the skin, reduce acne, and increase collagen production. Not only is a game changer for fighting PIH, but also for anti-aging and acne. There are different types of retinoid - retinol, tretinoin, Retin A and adapalene are all different types. Some are much higher strength and require a prescription! I use a prescription strength retinoid, it is apart of my Curology prescription and uses tretinoin.
Krave Great Barrier Relief This is a thicker serum so if you have oily skin I think you could probably wear it alone as a moisturizer, I have combination skin but I am always battling dehydration so I layer this after other serums before my moisturizer. This serum works wonders for me. When I started testing this out I was having one of the worst breakouts I have had in months. I simplified my routine and added this in. My breakouts started healing quicker than usual, my skin felt less irritated and my redness reduced immensely. I also noticed that the marks left behind by those blemishes were less red and seemed to fade upon continued use. I am blown away by this serum and at $28 this is something I always want to have on hand.
