Glossier:Worth the hype?
~ I have to be honest and say these products didn’t blow me away. I’ve read other reviews and I was so excited to try these, but they just didn’t do much for me. I’m sure it’s just one of those things where it just didn’t work for me, and that’s okay! ~Super Bounce: This was just okay. Didn’t break me out, didn’t hydrate my skin like I had wanted it to :/ ~Exfoliating Skin Perfector: This made my skin more dry (as now after educating myself makes more sense because of the BHA) ~Which one would I repurchase? Out of all of them, the future dew is my favorite. If I want an extra glow I’ll apply it after my skin care routine (not too much though, just on the the parts I want the most glow)
Cruelty free oil cleanser ⚡️
(I’m having way too much fun with this while on a quarantine 😂) ~ Thoughts? This is an oil cleanser that I enjoy! I was recommended this by a Sephora employee, and I like it. It doesn’t dry out my skin like a lot of other cleansers have. It starts as a gel, transforms to an oil, and then into a milky consistency over a few minutes. It has sunflower seed extract and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to help replenish skin’s moisture. However, sometimes it doesn’t remove all my makeup and I need to double cleanse. ~Would I purchase it again? I would! ~What is it? A vitamin C serum (THD ascorbate) with turmeric and evening prime rose oil that claims to hydrate, brighten, and glow ~Thoughts? It is lightweight and absorbs into my skin so quickly and blends really well with my banana moisture cream 🍌 However, I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I can’t rationalize spending 80$ for the bigger bottle when I’m balling on a budget, ya feel? Buuuut, I do love it, it glows without making me feel greasy/oily, so you are getting what you pay for. I’m trying to find a dupe for this, but I do love it, so it’ll be a treat your self kind of thing for me 👸🏻

Cucumber Hydration Toner 🥒
My esthetician recommended this toner 🤗 ~What is it? It is apart of the Skin script’s skin care line( I bought this at the salon). It contains hyaluronic acid and Omega 6 essential fatty acids to aid skin in retaining moisture. This toner is great for dry skin as dry skin lacks the fatty acids and hyaluronic acid it needs. ~How much? $20, which isn’t too bad for an effective product ~ Would I buy this again? Absolutely! It really feels amazing after a shower SKIN SCRIPT - Cucumber Hydration Toner

Blueberry bounce cleanser: ehh, I can’t say I loved this. Does it do the job? Yes, but I felt like I needed to use more than usual to get my face cleaned. However, I liked using this after a double cleanse. Would I buy this again, probs not. Banana soufflé moisture cream: Love, Love, Love this!! The only moisturizer that doesn’t pile up or irritate my skin when I combine other products. It’s lightweight, and doesn’t cause breakouts. It takes my redness away from my cheeks and leaves a soft texture. Works amazing over the pink juice moisturizer as the company suggests 🍉 Will definitely be repurchasing 🤗 Pineapple serum: Unfortunetaly did not love this like I wanted to :( it did make me glow, which was nice! However I didn’t see any long term effects of brightening my skin, and the smell was alright. I stopped using this for a while, and after I used it for a day last week it broke me out, which was strange for me. Would I buy this again? Nope :/

Dry, Sensitive, or Dehydrated skin? Try this !!
What is this product?; A chemical exfoliant with hydrating properties that claims to be a gentler option than glycolic acid. This is a Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or AHA for short, to help hydrate the skin and shed dead cells from the skin’s surface. Why this product? ; I’ve been on the search for a Gentle exfoliator for my dry skin that gets dehydrated, and after ample amount of research I decided to try lactic acid. I saw this was a dupe for the Sunday Reilly lactic acid treatment, so I went for it! How do I feel about it? ; I’m happy I tried it! For the price and results, you can’t beat it. My skin doesn’t feel irritated afterwards and the texture feels smooth. It also doesn’t dry me out as much as other exfoliators have.

I never knew I even needed an essence in my life until I tried this one from Caudalie. Just finished this mini a few weeks ago and thankfully I have another in stock! This does have a slight fragrance which is why I only gave it 4 stars as some people might find it overpowering. I am typically sensitive to scents but this does not bother me, I actually quite enjoy it. Let’s talk about why I love it! It has glycolic acid which is the smallest molecular size of all the AHAs. This means it’s able to penetrate deeper into the skin. I’ve found this essence helps brighten my skin and also provide a gentle exfoliation. When I pair this with their serum I wake up with baby soft skin in the morning! This product only has a 6 month shelf life which is why I opted to go for another mini since this one is empty. Even though I use it quite regularly I have a lot of other products I rotate with and do not think I could finish a full size in 6 months!

I find that my moisturizer, and sunscreen sit on top of it just fine and I have had no issues there. I store mine in the fridge to avoid oxidation of the serum. Overall It's a fantastic vitamin c serum, I plan to continue using it into my daily routine.

I want to talk about affordable skincare I know it can be discouraging seeing all the amazing name brands being so expensive, and I get it. I own far too much stuff and my bank account and I are not on great terms. BUT, I wanted to talk about an affordable, effective brand that I really love. 💫 Mad Hippie is a great brand and has some awesome products that genuinely really work. Their Vitamin C product really stood out to me. It contains Sodium Ascorbic Phosphate which is another more reliant and stable form of Vitamin C. What is nice about this is that it has a less risk of oxidizing and is a little irritable on the skin. I love my C-Firma by DE, but it does have a shorter shelf life because of L-ascorbic acid. 💫 This also contains Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Konjac Root, Chamomile extract and Clary Sage which all contribute antioxidants, plumping, smoothing, brightening, protection and moisture to the skin. These are awesome benefits for a great price at around $34 USD. 💫I don’t want people thinking that they can’t have good skin unless they drop their whole pay check. It is possible and easy to find other products that don’t break the bank! Their website states “Parabens, synthetic fragrance, dyes, petrochemicals, PEGs, SLS and other nasty additives aren't necessities.” I 100% support this. It is hard to find brands that don’t have all the nasty stuff and also at a good price. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone! 🧡💛❤️

I have been using this product for the past three months and I love it! This product is designed to tighten and brighten your skin. It has a blend of different antioxidants to soften and smooth the skin. It is also vegan and cruelty-free which I love! I also love that the company focuses on using pure ingredients and not a lot of filler or chemicals. I apply it in the morning before I apply my moisturizer and I really feel like it makes my skin look brighter. It comes from a dropper and is a clear color that has a thin gel-like consistency which absorbs easily into the skin. I decided to try it because I was trying to make the switch to using cruelty-free products and was looking for a Vitamin C serum. I would definitely recommend this product as a part of anyone’s skincare routine. It costs $33 which is a little pricey, but I think it is worth it to support such a good company. I’m obsessed with the Mad Hippie C Serum. The brand was nice enough to gift me a replacement of the Vitamin C and the Hydrating Nutrient Mist to try. I find that Vit C can be really tricky for acne prone/sensitive skin, and at the same time it’s highly recommended for lightening pigmentation and as an antioxidant. I really think this serum would work for literally anyone - it’s super lightweight and gentle. As for the mist - we will see! I’m really trying to up my antioxidant game, so let’s see how we go 👀.
