Products used: Oil cleanser -Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA
Water cleanser -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser
Toner -Aesop - B & Tea Balancing Toner
Essence -acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Essence Mist
Serum -VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum
Moisturizer -SKINRx LAB - MadeCera Re-turn Cream
Sunscreen - Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen As you can see I got a liiiiittle sunburned over the weekend 🤭 (as a major skincare enthusiast, big shame) but the hyaluronic acid serum has been helping it SO much. This is my basic morning skincare routine, and sometimes I’ll add a mask after my double cleanse - either a moisturizing or cleansing one depending on my skin that day and the climate. BTW I PROMISE I CLEANSED MY FOREHEAD BUT I HAD TO TRIM THE VIDEO DOWN TO A MINUTE SO IT LOOKS LIKE I NEVER CLEANSED MY FOREHEAD 😂 I used to have major hormonal acne problems that up until about 2 weeks ago I have been treating with Epiduo. I just started using the oil cleanser, essence, serum, and moisturizer in the video, so I’m not sure how it will react with my skin in the long run, but so far I am LOVING the results! Whenever I would use Epiduo, I always woke up with flaky and super tight skin. Since I have been using hyaluronic acid, my face has been feeling smooth and moisturizer right when I get out of bed! Let’s see how it goes in the next few weeks 🤞 I can’t wait to start using this awesome platform to discuss skincare with you!

Lanadamian11For oily or acne prone skin it can be helpful to remove excess oil that builds up over night! Totally depends on the individual’s skin type though ❤️

Meh Toner, Won’t buy again, anybody want it?
Long time lover of Aesop. But not this toner. It really doesn’t do much for my skin and leaves my face feeling a bit dry. Cons: • witch hazel • not moisturizing, but leaves my skin feeling dry • don’t feeling balanced after using lol Pros: • cute bottle for decoration, perhaps stick a piece of flower in there Aesop - B & Tea Balancing Toner

4 Aesop Facial Toners, The Best One Is🤔🤔🤔
I finished using my previous toner last month, so I bought this Aesop - B & Tea Balancing Toner. Aesop features four types of facial toners. Aesop - Bitter Orange Astringent Toner is suitable for oily skin. It's absorbed easily and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. Aesop B & Tea Balancing Toner is suitable for normal skin. It's more moisturizing compared with the Bitter Orange Astringent Toner. Aesop - In Two Minds Facial Toneris especially suitable for acne-prone skin. Aesop - Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Facial Toner offers the best moisturizing and antioxidant effects. I have combination-dry skin and I liked the Bitter Orange Astringent Toner more at first, but it's not moisturizing enough for me, so I switched to using the B & Tea Balancing Toner. Aesop products are alcohol-free, chemical additive-free and fragrance-free, so they're safe for pregnant women and those with sensitive skin to use. All of Aesop's ingredients are natural plant extracts, so they smell a little strange. I didn't like the green tea scent of the B & Tea Balancing Toner at first but I got used to it after a while. The overall user experience is great as it has a refreshing texture, absorbs easily and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky, while still being moisturizing and nourishing at the same time. Overall rating:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Experience:🌟🌟🌟🌟 Moisturizing effect:🌟🌟🌟🌟 It's just right for dry skin, but those with oily skin might find it more suitable for fall and winter. Results:🌟🌟🌟🌟

night night routine
My night time skin care roitine is a ritual. It's my "It's time to decompress, remove the day and transition to a relaxing evening" time. I start by using my micellar water and baby washcloth and remove me eye and facial make. Then, I wash my face with my Cetaphil face wash. After patting my face dry, I pat on some Revolution Bakuchiol Serum. Then I move on to the Revolution Hyaluronic Acid. After that, I get a drop of Revolution Targeted Under Eye Serum with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid and tap it under my eyes. Then I use Revolution Collagen Skin Firming Solution on my face. After that it's Revolution Niacinamide Blemish Refining and Moisturizing Serum. Then, I moisturize some more with CeraVe PM Ultra Moisturizing Lotion and finish off with a sample of Sunday Riley High Dose Rentinoid Serum. After that, I am finally ready to lay down for the evening and go to bed. Final thought, you probably don't need a complicated skin routine at night. and certainly, have a less complicated one on standby for those nights when you just can barely put one foot in front of the other. As my mom used to say....night, night, don't let the bed bugs bite. GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin I love, love, love this stuff! it's gentle on my skin. It takes off the toughest mascara without irritating my eyes. I use it as a pre cleanser before washing my face. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser While I use this every night, I am only using it until I finish the bottle. I am not crazy about the scent and there is a slight sting on my cheeks when I first lather the product on my skin and I am not fond of that feeling. REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine REVOLUTION - 15% Niacinamide Serum REVOLUTION - Skin Firming Solution Stabilised Active Collagen Serum I've enjoyed all of the products I purchased from Revolution, they will all be empties. I am going to try The Ordinary next but the price comparison is about the same. DIFFERIN - Dark Spot Correcting Serum I haven't noticed a bit of difference since using this. how long do you have to you this before you notice your spots lightening?SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum

acwell Toner Mist — Toner for Sensitive Skin
Function: This toner is meant to balance skin pH levels. It is targeted towards those with sensitive skin. It helps calm irritated skin and help the skin retain moisture. It claims to brighten, reduce pigmentation and lessen the appearance of acne scars. Consistency: I’ve tried many must toners before, but this one is hands-down the finest mist I’ve used. It goes on so lightly and feels really calming on contact. Thoughts: A really pleasant mist. As the temperature has gone down, I’ve needed to use more hydrating toners than this one, but this was perfect in the summer. If I got too much sun, this helped to reduce the redness on my face and aided in repairing my moisture barrier. It contains some amazing ingredients like licorice root and centella asiatica without any added fragrance, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin. I’d definitely recommend it to any of my friends with sensitive, dry skin! 5/5 Price: $24acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Essence Mist

It’s more Acwell today, y’all! 👍🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Got this full size of their Licorice pH Balancing Essence Mist Soko Glam Gym Set and I love it even more than the toner. 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m a sucker for mists. They’re convenient, quick, and prep the skin perfectly for other products. This one is no exception. 💯 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s hydrating without being sticky. It helps wake your skin up if you’re looking tired & is soothing if your skin is feeling irritated. ✔️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There’s no fragrance which is a bonus for those with sensitivities. Plus, I love that you can use it 3 ways: an essence, a refresher mist, or to set your makeup. 🙌🏾

Two new super faves and an honorable mention that I’m still testing 👉🏻 . The MadeCera cream from skinrxlab is one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used. It soothes dry and sensitive skin, hydrates and plumps without ever being too heavy or greasy. It gives my skin a radiant dewy look and the moisture lasts. 10/10! . After hearing great things about the krave Beet Shield for months and months, I finally bought it and I’m SO glad I did. It’s the perfect consistency for my skin - not too heavy and not too drying either. Another 10/10. . the Camellia Full Blossom Serum from florishe. I have been using it at night and have found it to be very calming and moisturizing.

Why are we having such a pink moment? Does it have anything to do with the resurgence of classic clinical-style creams in metal tubes? A Re-turn to a simpler, sweeter, kinder time, perhaps? (see what I did there?) A retreat to the private world of the boudoir because the real world is just too insane right now? In any case, I'm here for it. The skinrxlab MadeCera Cream Re-Turn is one of the new generation of KBeauty creams that emulate classic French pharmacy creams like Embryolisse and Biafine. Except it's NOT mineral oil and petrolatum based, and it also includes exciting stuff like ceramides, madecassoside, and niacinamide. Designed to be used as an all-purpose cream for all skin types, this is a medium weight cream that doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. I like this very much. It absorbs well on my skin, especially when applied when my skin is still damp (from washing or previous layers). It softens and protects my skin well, helping it to retain moisture, and the soothing ingredients make it suitable for sensitive skin. My skin feels more elastic, looks brighter and less sallow when I use it, and feels more supple in the morning. With my combination/dehydrated skin, I'm able to wear this day and night. Would repurchase!

Worth the hype? Best hyaluronic serum?
VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum It seems that everyone has been raving about this product and rightfully so. It is light weight and can easily incorporate into your day/ night skincare routine. This serum’s base is mineral rich volcanic water—89% to be exact, and contains “15 skin-loving minerals including iron, potassium, calcium, and manganese that work to moisturize skin, re-balance its pH, and protect against pollutants.” — Vichy Another bragging point, is that this product contains only 11 ingredients — clean, allergy tested, dermatologist tested , and Vegan. We all know what an amazing ingredient hyaluronic acid is for our skin—plumps and retain moisture. And this product does just that. It’s so simple and I would definitely recommend this for friends that have very sensitive skin. The only set back about this brand (in general) is that I’m not 100% sure of their cruelty free status. According to their site they do not test on animals but it seems that they currently sell/ market their products in China — which requires animal testing. Maybe this is old news? And if not, hopefully one day that’ll change. So I use it and love it with hesitation and I’m not sure if I would repurchase after I finish the bottle. Maybe I’ll change my mind- who knows. If that (cruelty-free status) is not a factor when you buy/ use cosmetics than go for it! It is $30 and it’s super accessible- available on Ulta*, CVS, Walgreens, Vichy.com, Skinstore.com. If you find yourself on a budget, get it at CVS. There’s always a sale and of course coupons. ** Ulta has them in 3 sizes. Here are some hyaluronic acid serums that are confirmed 🐰cruelty-free: THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Please share your favorites below. Why to Add HA Serum to your Routine
The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid serum is a cult favourite. It has won an Allure Beauty Award in 2019. It retails for only $6.80 CAD. When winter came and I was noticing that my skin was feeling dry by midday it was an easy decision to add it to my routine! Claims It is a pure vegan hyaluronic acid that includes low, medium and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, at a concentration of 2%. It is supported by Vitamin B5 for enhanced hydration. It targets dryness. Good for all skin types. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hyaluronic Acid helps plump fine lines and improves elasticity and dryness. It’s a great addition to your skincare routine once you are in your 30s to help with hydration, as the amount of HA in our skin decreases as we get older. HA is sugar that is found naturally in our skin. It can hold 1000x its weight in water. Eating a diet with lots of fruits & vegetables with antioxidants can also help us retain HA. HA can we found in HA serums, an addition to serums with other actives, and creams. HA plays well with most other ingredients. A cream or serum with HA in different molecular weights allows it to seep into different layers of skin. HA are typically less expensive than other serums such as Vit C. It works best when applied to a damp face or before a water-based serum or moisturizer because it pulls the water into your skin. Otherwise it could pull the water out of your skin. My Experience The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The serum is clear and easily applies. I don’t experience any tackiness. When I first introduced this product to my routine I was using it AM & PM as it recommends, but I started noticing some irritation, red cheeks. I read some people can experience irritation from HA. I scaled back to only using in the AM. I put it on directly after my cleanser and before my Vit C serum. No more irritation. I have noticed that the dryness I was experiencing by midday is gone but I can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference in fine lines or wrinkles. A HA serum with more molecular weights and a higher percentage might have better results. But for $7 I can’t complain. Other HA to try include: VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid SerumPAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster

Updated skin progress!
Hi all :) If you’ve been following me, you know I started a brand new routine (all K-Beauty products) at the beginning of December after suffering a horrible reaction from my previous routine that included painful cystic breakouts, chemical burns, etc. as seen on the side of my cheek. That has stayed put since about mid November 😬 I am slowly but surely getting to the point where they are starting to fade. I still have days where that area gets inflamed, whether that’s from the friction of wearing my mask for a full day, sleeping on my side, or even enduring a recent cat scratch straight to the face and through my already painful acne. Anyways, it has been about a full month of this new routine, so I thought i’d write my thoughts on these products! My overall goal with my skin is to firstly, get rid of the acne scarring on the side of my cheek, but also to achieve “dewy” skin. I also have massive pores that have always been hard to reduce, but as I’ve learned recently, a lot of that is simply natural and I’m just going to have to learn to accept that 😌 ✨PRODUCT REVIEW✨ 1. Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA Being my first Oil cleanser, I guess it’s hard to compare to any other product, however, I have fallen in LOVE with it! It’s perfect for my clogged pores and the way it melts into my skin feels so luxurious and prepares my skin so well for my foaming cleanser + the rest of my routine! *I use this in BOTH the AM and PM, but in the AM i only use it on my nose, where I am the most oily in the morning. 2. acwell - No 5.5 Ph Balancing Micro Cleansing Foam This is a super gentle cleanser that foams up so nice and quickly and always gets the remaining gunk off my face after the oil cleanser! My face never feels too dry or tight after, either! Which is a major win for me as all my psst cleansers have done so. *I use in both the AM and PM! 3. d’Alba Peptide No-Sebum Balancing Toner (not listed on Cherie) I always swear by a toner, although many disagree. But I feel if you have a toner set for a specific purpose, such as reducing sebum and unclogging pores, then there’s no harm in using one in moderation! I have seen an such amazing difference in my pores with this toner. Although I still have large pores that can’t be helped, this definitely aids in reducing them temporarily and unclogging! 4. - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum This serum has been a lifesaver for helping with the dryness of my skin, as well as healing my dark spots. I used to get a new pimple maybe like every other day or so, but since using this product, I’ve not experienced a new breakout besides one pesky chin pimple from being on my period, which I’m used to 🙄 *Use 3 times a week only in the PM 5. On the Bright Side Moisturizer by Good Skin Days (not listed on Cherie) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the only product i will NOT be repurchasing. Although I haven’t experienced any negatives, it just doesn’t hydrate well:(

A routine that FINALLY works for me!
Since the beginning of quarantine, I’ve gotten WAY into skincare, maybe a little too much... I’ve definitely experienced ups and downs with my routine, low bank balances, and the overall stress of trying to balance the millions of options and recommendations given for serums, cleansers, toners, ETC. Through many trial and errors, I think I finally found my true routine, thanks to Sokoglam, a K-Beauty skincare company. They offer a free “skin concierge” session in real time with a skincare specialist, where you can ask about your skin concerns and receive great recommendations for products, and overall a personalized skincare routine that fits YOU! That all sounds cheesy and sponsored but I promise it’s not😂 That’s just how impressed I am with the company! For so long I just watched youtubers suggest products to me and I scrolled endlessly on Cherie looking for products that I thought would suit me. A biiiig brand I saw/and was recommended CONSTANTY was The Ordinary serums... Long story short, tried it, hated it. Plain and simple. The few serums I used from them caused nothing but turmoil for my skin that I’m still trying to fix including breakouts, CYSTIC acne, chemical burns, etc.. I am pretty sure there was just something my sensitive skin was allergic to in order for all of that to have happened, but still, simply just not for me. To be fair, if it weren’t for those products, I would have never gone out of my way to seek a new routine, sooooo? Thanks I guess lol. Anyways, here is my road to recovery! I have been documenting my skin’s journey and I can already see such dramatic effects in texture, hydration, reduction of oiliness AND the beginnings of healing for my more intense acne that left scars! I won’t go into detail on each product quiet yet, as it is still a new routine taking its course, however, I think the biggest component to the already huge changes has to definitely be the Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA !!!! As a combo/oily skin type who rarely wears makeup, I NEVER would have thought I’d need this product because like... More oil??! But I was sooooo mislead!!! My pores have never been cleaner/smaller after using this, because after all, oil gets rid of oil! For so long I was always so frustrated with how bad of a job my water based cleansers were doing, never truly cleaning my horribly clogged pores! I guess I just forgot basic chemistry knowledge that water alone cannot get rid of oil! Plain and simple! I’m sure most people know that, but I guess my quarantine brain didn’t make that connection, but also when it comes to skincare, I guess I never truly thought of those things in the past! I will keep updating my journey as I go, but enjoy for now!

A fresh morning cleanse
A fresh morning cleanse
Hi everyone, this is my first post! I am so wrapt with my Lancome cleansing products I just had to share! I spend a lot of my mornings out on the farm and with my job on TV most of my afternoons I am wearing quite heavy makeup. My skin was feeling the side affects, I wanted something gentle that was going to brightening and lift my skin in the morning so I could be makeup free and still feel confident. These products have done the trick! First I apply the Oil in Gel cleanser in small circles, then apply a small amount of water and keep rubbing in circles. Then rinse. Using a cotton pad I apply the pink Lancome toner and swipe across horizontally on my face. I am then ready for my other products and sometimes I use this cleansing routine in its own in between the day for a fresh glow. They are wonderful!! 🧡🤍💕

UPDATE TO ORDER OF PRORUCTS- As of 9/19/20 this is the new order of products - 1. Cerave cleansing wash 2. Toner of choice I use Clinique 3. The ordinary Niacininide and zinc - pat in and let dry 5 minutes 4. Retinol moisturizer - olay 5. Eye cream - olay 6. Kiehls midnight recovery oil. I noticed putting the oil on top of my moisturizer helps it to set in and leave me less oily! So I am a fan of buying things for a good price. And I understand getting what you want for your skin can be difficult - but these saved my skin. 1. CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser after MANY a recommendation to try this I caved and pulled the trigger. For about 15 dollars at Target I found a new foaming Cleanser. It’s got a quick clip open and close which makes it easy instead of a cap like some of my other face washes. It’s got a thin consistency but foams up when you rub it in. Over the course of two weeks my skin is nice and clean. Barely any visible acne in site 2. OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Eye Cream now the eye cream I’m new too. I started this on Monday so only a few days but I absolutely love the consistency. Easy application (I use my pinky) dab in the cream and swipe under my eyes. Unlike kiehls it isn’t thick and absorbs very quickly. 3. Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate - for someone who had extremely oily skin I was hesitant about this product. But after using it for three months straight - it has helped even my skin and nightly oil production. I wake up and my skin is even. It smells wonderfully of essential oils and I use it on bug bites - so dual purposed ! It leaves a nice layer of oil but I let it sit for about 10 minutes before applying my nightly moisturizer. It doesn’t leave me greasy. It’s not drug store and a bit of a splurge but well worth it to me. 4. Last but not least - the product that i am so happy to end my day with - the OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturizer . This product gets me through the day. For some of you it’s lunch time - for others of you it’s working out but for me - I look forward to use this product. Wild - I know. But it’s so greAt. So after applying shes 1-3 I add a dab to my forehead and cheeks and rub in. This is thick but not overbearing for my oily skin. This cocktail is absolutely amazing and has left me feeling clean and polished. And the next day you can tell it has done it’s job! Any questions drop em below and I’d be happy to respond! Good luck all and for drug store prices - you can’t go wrong !!

Aesop two minds mini review ✨
Aesop two minds mini review ✨
Aesop - In Two Minds Facial Hydrator - Will update as I continue to use - Aesop - In Two Minds Facial Toner lovely ingredients, nice herbal scent, doesn’t sting or burn. Aesop - In Two Minds Facial Cleanser soft lather, doesn’t give a tight feeling but does leave skin feeling dry but at the same time soft. It’s like it sucks up your oils but the surface feels softened. It’s hard to describe! I do think oily/acne-prone skins can benefit from this cleanser. *beware of essential oil sensitivities* YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I wish it would lather more or that I would need less cleanser for it to cover my face and make it feel clean. Overall great cleanser, bought a second bottle! CHANEL - LA SOLUTION 10 DE CHANEL Sensitive Skin Cream Simple, 10 ingredients only, great for sensitive, dry, mature or normal skin. Doesn’t clog pores, no scent, just a beautiful formula.
