Hydrating Mists & Curl Refreshers (Type 4)
I have super dry low porosity type 4A/B hair and wanted to experiment with these. Here’s my ranking: 4. TGIN Rosewater - I wanted to like this but it’s extremely sticky. Best used on wet hair and/or before applying curl creams/custards, etc. Would not repurchase. 3. Pattern Beauty Hydrating Mist - the smell is amazing and I liked it at first but compared to my #1 pick, it didn’t do much. Also had concerning ingredients for lowpo hair like coconut oil and a ton of things I can’t pronounce 2. As A I JBCO Water - Enjoyed this, would consider it a better alternative to the TGIN Rosewater. Because it’s JBCO it’s not something I could use everyday but definitely good for fortifying hair without making it too dry. 1. Jessicurl Awe Inspiraling Spray - a strong and simple ingredient list, adds a ton of moisture back into my hair and I love that there’s a no fragrance option since that tends to be an irritant for lowpo hair

I'm obsessed with Pattern Beauty
So.... It's safe to say I'm Pattern Beauty STAN! the Leave-in Conditioner is literal CRACK. Now I'm loving the Curl Gel too. WHEW! TRACEE!!!!!!! You did your THANG with these products. Although the conditioners aren't my fave when it comes to the slip that EYE personally like in my conditioners to help me detangle, they're still good for moisture. Have you all tried PATTERN? What are your favorites? Should I do a video/reel on here with my thoughts on all these products? Products featured back to front: * PATTERN - Leave-In Conditioner (x2 because I love it that much) * PATTERN - Hydration Shampoo * PATTERN - Medium Conditioner for Curlies * PATTERN - Jojoba Oil Hair Serum * PATTERN - Curl Gel * PATTERN - Strong Hold Gel * PATTERN - Styling Cream * PATTERN - Hydrating Mist * PATTERN - Intensive Conditioner for Tight Textures * PATTERN - Heavy Conditioner for Coilies * PATTERN - Shower Brush * PATTERN - PATTERN Hair Clip
New Haul For All My New Friends!!
Looks like I’ve been getting some new followers here on ze cherie. Hello and welcome!! Thought I’d share this haul that’s been sittin in my drafts for a minute. Just got allllllll these goodies from PATTERN beauty for my 3a curly tresses. Fun Fact: Tracee Ellis Ross is the founder, and was my valentine once (I’m not lying. At all.) She launched styling products a little bit ago and I’ve been super excited to try these. I’ve been pretty consistently on my natural hair journey for a few years now and I’m always down to try new products! PATTERN - Styling Cream I personally think this cream can totally work for some folks. I have really fine hair so it can get weighed down pretty easily. This cream is thicc unlike most other curl creams (way thicker than my usualOuidad - Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream ) so a little can go a long way — for me, bc there is A LOT in this tub. One thing I can truthfully say with this brand is they really paid attention to the amount of product curls need and the value is THERE for the size and quality. PATTERN - Hydrating Mist I’ve tried many hydrating mists. I don’t give this one top marks though bc I just don’t like the smell. It’s too floral for me. It also hydrates I guess?? But idk how I feel about it — I haven’t found the perfect hydrating mist that helps tame the mane on my extra frizzy days. PATTERN - Hair Pick if there is one thing I CAN say about the styling tools is that auntie Tracee came thru with the qualiTEA! This pick is strong and comes with a velvety sleeve. You can tell they did the most with tools on this line bc the PATTERN - Edge Tool is also 💯 and pairs nicely with the PATTERN - Edge Control or even the OUAI - Matte Pomade PATTERN - Mist Spray Bottle this is also nice but the biggest difference is it can hold a lot more water. Maybe like 20% more than you can get from the ones on Amazon. THE RUNDOWN Value ✅ Quality ✅ Efficacy ✔️➖(it works fine it’s just not my favorite) Would I repurchase? Not sure. But there is so much product I honestly don’t know when I’ll even have to buy more 😂
Fav Wig Stylin Products From CVS| #CheriePartner
I’m an official “Wigie” and all good wigs MUST have good products to maintain them. I personally like to treat my wigs like that hair is coming out of my scalp, so we must get great products for a long lasting wig & great hair days. I don’t like to be too product happy but all good styles ( in order for them to last ) must have at least some sort of something in it. Wigs are dead hair so we need to liven up the tresses a lil bit lol. CVS LITERALLY NEEDS TO SPONSOR ME, I got all products from CVS, so you know it won’t be too expensive and you can get them at any drugstore 🎊 To keep my wigs from sliding off, I like to use got2b - Flex Insta Hold Hairspray it’s a super strong hold, NO white residue, and the nozzle sprays exactly where you want it to go! To hold my curls and prevent them from dropping, I like to use PANTENE - Airspray Hairspray it’s a brushable hairspray so it will give the girls BAWDY & a light hold. To tame those fly aways, I like to use the TIGI - Bed Head Hair Stickit’s perfect for those hairs that don’t stay down and it doesn’t leave the hair too shiny either & smells pretty good as well. These are my go-to products, and they work every time! Tell me what y’all love to use on your extensions or wigs
Game Changing Curly Hair Product!!
I picked up the CURLSMITH - In-Shower Style Fixer from Ulta on a whim. I'm not a one product type of girl, I need leave-in conditioner, oils, gels, curl butters the whole thing BUT sometimes I don't have the time or energy for all that. I wanted to try this out because it doesn't have any of the things I don't want in my hair (sulphates, parabens, silicones, mineral oils or phthalates) and does have a bunch of good things - rose of Jericho, raw aloe vera, avocado. It claims to have strong hold, high definition and be anti-frizz. I washed and conditioned my hair, then followed the directions on the bottle: 1. On soaking wet hair apply a dime sized amount (obviously I used more than this) 2. Rub betweens palms and apply to sections of hair using praying hands method 3. Scrunch and air dry 4. Once completely dry scrunch again to break the cast Now I have defined, frizz free hair and it only took one step! So if you're a curly girl with out the patience or time to apply and lather product through your hair, this is definitely something to check out!

The temptation is real sometimes!
If I were to tell myself 3 years ago that I would put down the flat iron, I would’ve looked at you like you were crazy. And here we are almost 2 years of being natural and it’s done wonders for the health of my hair 💪🏽
Wash N Go routine For the Curls! 🌀
Hey Guys! For all my curly/Coily friends this ones for you! 🌀Today I’m going to show you my Wash N Go routine. My Wash N Go’s change a lot but I typically use the same products for all my hair style needs! I have 4B Low porosity hair. Low porosity means my hair does not hold water which means every style I do my hair has to be pretty wet or consistently hydrated to lock in moisture. Because of this I usually do my entire wash and go while in the shower but for the purpose of this post this was all done in my room! To see what shampoo and conditioner I use pls check out my other post on Emerges great products! STEPS: 1. Firstly I start off with freshly washed and conditioned hair that’s been detangled. 2. Next I part my hair into 4s 3. I take a section and hydrate it with my water/conditioner mix to make it manageable to style. 4. I then take my AS I AM - Curl Enhancing Smoothie and rake it through roots to end with my fingers. 5. I then take my Evolve Brush and brush that section through to make sure the product is distributed evenly and define my curls. 6. I then take Curls - Control Curl Sculpting Gel and rake it through my hair to create more definition and hold my curls. 7. I then take my oil mixture (Jamaican castor, vitamin E and Avocado oil) and apply to my hands as I start to two strand twist. I repeat this for each section until all sections are twisted. After that I put my head scarf on and wait for it to dry overnight! Once completely dry I take down the twists and fluff it out and WAH LAH Wash N Go 😊 If you guys wanna see more natural hair tutorials let me know below! BESOS 😘

NO BRUSH Ponytail Hairstyle!
Hi everyone, Here’s how I tend to do a ponytail with my type 3A curly and thin hair. Notice how the key is to always comb your hair with your fingers! Also, the twist that I do before putting the hairband is what gives the ponytail that upper volume. I’ve already given a review for the products that I use, so I’m only listing them once again for reference: aussie - Miracle Curls Refresher Spray Gel Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk Nourishing and Conditioning Refresher Spray Hope you enjoy!
