March Favorites 🍓
March Favorites, I don’t think April will have too many due to the current circumstances but who knows 🤷♀️ @tatcha The Essence - it’s been a while since I’ve tried an essence that wowed me and this one is exactly that... WOW! It is fragrance free, plumps my skin and makes the whole process feel so luxurious! @exuviance Super Retinol Concentrate - this is the first retinol type product that I’ve introduced into my routine and it was very easy to incorporate! My skin didn’t get irritated at all and I’m using it now every other night. I definitely see results and think this would be a perfect retinol for anyone starting out! @essie Expressie Polish “Don’t Hate, Curate” - such a unique shade, I loved yellows like this! @peaceoutskincare Acne Dots - these work overnight, I’ve seen drastic results when using these, glad I found them. @burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base - I’ve had this for a while but didn’t start using it til now, I mix a few pumps into my foundation and love the glowy finish it gives. @milkmakeup Matte Bronzer - I’ve found the perfect cream bronzer, I know everyone has talked about this one and for good reason! It blends like a dream and is the perfect cool tone for me, I’m gonna be using this non stop this coming summer. @youthtothepeople Dream Mask - already on my wishlist to purchase during the next sale, it only took me a few uses to know that it’s awesome! Super hydrating but not greasy and has a slight creamsicle scent. @sephora Diffuser Brush “64” - this is the perfect brush for the matte bronzer, blends it out perfectly!

Clean Beauty 💦
Only within the last year, have I really began to broaden my horizons when it comes to clean beauty. I’ve always had products from Origins and Boscia in my rotation but never realized that they are considered clean. Since then, Drunk Elephant, Youth To The People, The Glow Recipe, Farmacy and Tatcha have slowly crept into my collection! One thing all these brands have in common, besides being clean, is they all are fragrance free or have minimal fragrance, with the exception of The Glow Recipe. Clean Beauty is defined by products that are mindfully created and produced without any proven or suspected toxic ingredients. Clean Beauty products include ingredients ethically sourced and are made with the health of our bodies and the environment in mind. The skincare industry has come so far, so I think it is super important to consider making the switch! Honestly, I don’t think that I’ll ever have a completely clean collection but it doesn’t hurt to try!

Cleansing Balm: Drunk Elephant OR Farmacy ?
I have tried two popular cleansing balm and now want to share my feeling about them to you guys. One is Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm, and the other is Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter. Package: Drunk Elephant 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Farmacy🌟🌟🌟 Although Drunk Elephant's packaging is a little bit heavier, it provides a small spoon stuck by a magnitude, which makes it way more convenient to use. Texture: Farmacy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Drunk Elephant 🌟🌟🌟 Farmacy's is more blendable and more natural to melt-down in hands or face, While it may take a while for Drunk elephant. I also need to notice that DE one would be a little bit difficult to clean off thoroughly. So if you are acne-skin type, farmacy is better for you. Cleaning power: Both are great！ I would call it an even since both can clean heavy makeup, even mascara! Scent: Farmacy 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Drunk Elephant 🌟 Farmacy definitely smells better. It is not a strong but lightweight, good scent. But the Drunk Elephant's smell is a little too irritating for me. Some people argue that this is because DE is more eco-friendly, and the product is without artificial flavor. But sincerely, I wouldn't say I like the smell. Other: Drunk Elephant gives an extra hydrating feeling. I would give it some extra points for that. In all, personally, I prefer Farmacy. The experience is nice when using Farmacy's cleansing balm. But if you don't mind the smell and really care whether the product is eco-friendly, go with Drunk Elephant！

The best Concealers
These concealers are stellar. You get beautiful high coverage with both formulas. I use them depending how heavy my foundation is - soft matte for lighter coverage and creamy for heavier coverage foundations. They are brightening and stay put without creasing all day! This cream is BANANAS 🍌
I have been LOVING the @glowrecipe Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. It has a light and creamy texture, just like banana pudding. It has a soft banana scent that dissipates as soon as you rub it in. The star ingredients of this cream are banana (of course), magnesium, centella asiatica, chia seed, turmeric, and squalane. Together, these help to soothe, moisturize, and balance the skin, while maintaining the health of the moisture barrier. I have been using this as my day cream every day since I got it. What I love about it is that it is incredibly moisturizing, while being extremely lightweight. I have been searching for something like this as a day cream. I find I need to add an oil to most of them for my skin to stay hydrated, but I don’t need to with this one. It is also very soothing! So much so that I definitely notice a colour correcting effect as it calms my redness. Safe to say that I’m going bananas for this one! 🍌 Have you tried banana in your skincare? What are some of your favourite fruit extracts? GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream

Empty but disappointed
Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Honey Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask If this was the normal Repair Deep Conditioning Mask it would have gotten all the stars! I bought this mostly because I already loved the original so I thought honey would be nice to try and also because of the super cute packaging! To my surprise, this doesn’t smell like honey. At least not much. There’s a hint of it but I thought it would smell like pure honey. I prefer the smell of the original, it’s much more fresh and makes my shower experience so much better. This is a conditioning hair mask that’s supposed to repair hair and make it smooth all with 98% natural ingredients. You put this bouncy and creamy texture mask on in the shower for 10 minutes and your hair is super shiny and smooth after. Comb it through and it’ll be detangled to your next shower. The consistency is one that you can massage into the hair and feel it dissolving and making everything soft and smooth. Totally love this and does exactly what it claims but this version is just worse than the original. I think this mask is 100% worth it but just not this version. If you like sweet smell but not really honey then you might like this or if honey does wonders to your hair but really, the original is better in my opinion. Wouldn’t really recommend this!

🍍 brightening serum by glow recipe
this product has stellar reviews basically everywhere, which was my cue to try it out! it’s a little expensive (hello $49) but i managed to snag it in a sample kit. this serum is supposed to brighten and smooth skin for a k-beauty “glass skin” appearance. i’ve used this a few times now i noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY when i applied this serum. it’s liquid but not too runny and felt nice on my face. it smells wonderful and i felt my skin was plumper and hydrated when i applied it. even when i applied makeup on top of this product, there was still a healthy, visible sheen to my skin. overall, i love the GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Brightening Serum . it’s such a cute product (the pineapple glass jar!) and has amazing effects despite the price. i’d definitely recommend this to someone.

Acne’s Worst Nightmare
I wanted to share a product I’m so thankful for. #Apassioni is a retinol that has been working well for me to keep my skin flat and soft! It’s helping clean up my scarring and prevent acne and will hopefully keep me looking youthful by preventing wrinkles. I love the smell of this stuff so much so I actually get so excited when I get to use it! The packaging is a little annoying, but if you make sure to only squeeze from the top you should be good. You only need a pea size amount for the whole face and it’s best used with lots of moisture after as your skin can dry out from the cell regeneration. Retinol works from the deeper layers up so its always a process to see results! I’m hoping my skin keeps getting more and more clear the longer I use this. I suggest starting out slow with 1-2x a week and then increase to every other day. I am using #tlcFramboos for surface exfoliation in rotation with this. It’s what really works on my acne which I can’t seem to shake. DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream
