Defying gravity with microcurrent
Skin laxity (sagging) is one of the biggest concerns and struggles with ageing skin. Micro-current is an excellent treatment that can be used at home to prevent and treat sagging skin. What is microcurrent? Microcurrent is FDA approved as a muscle stimulator to treat bell palsy and muscle paralysis and used medically since the 1980s so we know it works. After noticing improvements in sagging skin and muscles that atrophied micro-current made its way as an anti-ageing hero, nicknamed the non-invasive facelift. Microcurrent sends soft waves down through the skin to the muscles, providing muscle stimulation, retraining and lifting muscles back to where they should be. Facial muscles are directly attached to the skin on the face, with muscles stimulation we can also lift the skin treating sagging jouls, redefining jawline and facial contours. Microcurrent stimulates ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) production. ATP promotes vital proteins, collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin proteins decline as we age and break down through overexposure to UV rays and free radical exposure. To keep skin healthy and avoid premature ageing of the skin, we want to bank as much collagen and elastin proteins. A facial, a mask, and a bath feels like heaven
NuFACE - Trinity Facial Toning Device NuFACE - FIX Line Smoothing Device So grateful to @mynuface for sending this amazing spa-at-home care package to me. I’ve never been diligent with facial gadgets but I’m seeing such great results that I just can’t stop. Nuface Trinity is an advanced microcurrent facial toning device that helps to 'work out' the muscles of the face to stimulate collagen and tighten skin appearance with as little as 5 mins per day. I’d say it’s totally worth the investment even tho the price point ain’t cheap. But considering the $405 (CAD)can probably only get less than 5 facial treatments at the spas, it’s great to have a facial in the comfort of your own home. A facial isn’t complete without the proper eye treatment, the FIX is perfect for contouring the delicate eye area to help with puffiness around my eyes. My skin feels super charged the next morning with my jawline more prominent and my skin feels toned and refreshed. The FIX is ergonomically designed with two small probes that you move around the eye area in circular motions, generally around the orbital bone and muscles surrounding it. The FIX retails for $199 (CAD) so it’s a good one to start off and try the microcurrent technology to see if you like how it works. I’ve been using the these 2 devices very diligently for the past month and I do see my face seem to have slimmed down and my eyes are less fatigued with the fine lines less obvious. It’s so easy to use so even those 10 mins each day (5 mins in the trinity and 5 mins on the Fix ) is totally feasible for a busy mom like me. I find it very comforting and relaxing so I do recommend these 2 amazing devices! Best thing yet, Im watching Netflix while having this luxe facial!Share your fav facial devices below.
My little skincare weapon! 🤩
The pmd - Clean Smart Facial Cleansing Device is my favourite cleansing brush and I’ve been using it for nearly two years - it’s hands down amazing! 🤍 There’s a couple of versions of the brush but I just got the basic one as I didn’t need all the bells and whistles. I love using a silicone brush with my cleanser and serums because they help to work the product into the skin more efficiently and reduce product waste. This is what I love about the pmd brush: ❤️ Easy to use - only 4 speeds ❤️ Battery operated but lasts for months before replacement (you can pay more for a rechargeable one) ❤️ More hygienic then using a bristle cleansing brush ❤️ Easy to hold (prefer the stick design than the round ones on the market) ❤️ Can use in the shower ❤️ Easy to clean The only thing I wish the device had: 📌 Self timed function If you’re thinking of investing in a silicone cleansing brush, they really are worth it! The PMD is a great option whilst still being affordable than some of the others on the market. 🥰

HERBIVORE - Rose Quartz Facial Roller How I use my face roller on face and eye area. I normally use this with a serum or oil step and love how therapeutic and relaxing it is. Make sure you’re doinf this in one direction (outwards). Thats how you drain your lymphs, but it reduces the squeakiness vs massaging back and forth.

High Tech Skincare Tools - Worth it or Not?!
I won this FOREO - LUNA mini 3 in a giveaway on Instagram and up until that point, I hadn’t used any sort of techy skincare gadgets. This model retails for around $159.99 Canadian at Sephora. When I first received this in the mail, I used it religiously every night when I washed my face, I also used it to apply serums and/or oils. As you can see in my little video, the front side is used for cleansing and the backside is used for massaging your serums or oils into your skin. I have super sensitive, reactive skin so I was a little nervous about how this would (or wouldn’t) work for me. In my opinion, I feel I can do just as good of a job cleaning with my hands or a washcloth and my skin isn’t left as irritated or stripped feeling. I think because I have sensitive skin the cleansing aspect of this is just a little too harsh for me. That being said, I absolutely LOVE the other side when used to massage in my other skincare. It feels sooo relaxing and makes you feel like you’re at a spa for a minute while you apply your skincare. Overall, I feel like these gadgets are quite expensive for what they are/do and for my skin type it’s something I can definitely do without. I actually ended up accidentally throwing the charger to this away months ago and haven’t been able to use it since (but I don’t really mind). What have your experiences been with high tech skincare tools? Do you think they’re worth it? #CheriePartner

Best cleansing brush ever
Love love love this product. My new baby! I used to use the clarisonic brush but i hated how i have to change brushes every few months and i always felt like my face wasn’t fully cleaned because of the brush itself. But with the pmd, the soft silicone bristles reassured me it was always clean and antibacterial. It is very soft on my skin! There are 4 modes of vibrations, i like to use the second one to clean my face, but if you have sensitive skin, the first mode is perfect for you. Of course I use it for a full minute every night, it is recommended to clean your face for 60sec, not less and not more for any cleansing product to be able to penetrate to the skin. I have yet to use the other side of the cleanser such as the rose quartz facial massager, any advice/recommendations/tips?
