🤍Helps repair skin damage! 💚✨A holy grail✨
This is the best product from Krave Beauty! This helps to reduce redness, inflammation, and irritation with in the skin. This is an amazing product to use if you have a bad reaction to a product or have redness and or sensitive skin! The smell is definitely not the most amazing quality of this product but I can definitely get past it. It’s a bit oily so great for winter time right now! 🍏Krave - Great Barrier Relief

I feel my skin has its moments where it’s getting better and when it reacts to whatever. This past week has been a little stressful so it explains the active breakouts. I do feel my period is coming within the next week, so that’s another explanation for my flare up. I have even experiencing dryness more so this week, but weather has been a lot colder! Been on spironolactone for a little over a month now and I do see less active breakouts. I do see less redness in my skin overall and some dark sport fading. My routine has not changed. I switch between 3 cleansers CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I have been using this one more because my skin has been drier than normal. I really enjoy it! PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Moisturizer: Krave - Great Barrier Relief I love this! Use it before my moisturizer! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream NATURIUM - Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5% I’ve been trying to use this again because my skin has been so dry as an extra layer or hydration. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 0.0025% tretinoin I use it twice a week right now vs three times a week 100 mg of Spironolactone; I take it morning and night.
My First Cherie Convo Post! 🏷 Skin Positivity
Let’s talk about perspective. I am not a psychologist, but I did have some training in nursing school, and there are two concepts that I want to talk about when it comes to skin. 1. Body Dysmorphia: Most people associate this diagnosis with eating disorders, the classic image of a thin girl seeing herself as fat in a mirror. This is a common form of body dysmorphia but not the only type, and I would like to bet the other types are actually more common! Body dysmorphia can be a fixation on real or perceived body flaws that your mind blows out of proportion. This could be for instance, thinking your nose is the size of a duck beak when in reality it is small for an Italian, OR thinking one tiny pimple is the size of your entire face! You see what I’m getting at here? We all fixate on weird little things that we think are huge but no one else notices. 2. Cognitive Distortions: Similarly, cognitive distortions are your brain blowing things out of proportion irrationally, often in a downward spiral. For example: OMG that pimple is huge -> why is it so big and noticeable -> its so ugly -> im so ugly -> everyone is gonna see it and think im gross -> no one will take me seriously because they think I dont take care of myself -> I should just stay inside instead. Again, skin and beauty fixations can DEFINITELY fall under cognitive distortions. If you notice things look worse the more you look at them, then it is probably your brain being mean to you and not your actual skin!! For instance, I used an exfoliating serum last night, and when I woke up i groggily felt my face and it felt SO SMOOTH. Then I looked in the mirror, and all I could see was the GIANT pimple on my neck, worse than yesterday and HIDEOUS. I feel like its a volcanic eruption popping out of my neck. Then I look at the rest of my face and suddenly it doesnt seem so smooth and glowy anymore. My eyes are bloodshot from lack of sleep, my dark circles are terrible, i have forehead creases and texture, my dark spots arent going away, and my lips are chapped. I look gross. First picture is my one pimple, next to what I think my pimple looks like (zoomed in). The second picture is my face in my poor bathroom lighting with the contrast increased a bit. Third picture is what the little pimple actually looks like in sunlight. Fourth and final picture is my skin in the sun, absolutely zero makeup or primer or anything with shimmer, just naturally glowing beautiful skin!! It is all about perspective. Skin positivity doesn’t necessarily have to be about loving your acne or imperfections, sometimes it is just knowing that they are NORMAL, and most importantly to STOP FOCUSING ON THE BLEMISHES! Take a selfie in bright sunlight and allow yourself to see all the beautiful things about your skin. Reframe the way you see your skin and STOP STARING IN THE MIRROR! Love you all in this community ❤️ Side note: someone please explain these neck zits? Im getting them a lot suddenly the past few months 😫
Help your skin and the environment.
I don't have enough good things to say about the products from Krave Beauty. This product has saved my skin when I get carried away with exfoliating or I have been out in the sun too long. Keeping your skin barrier healthy is an important part in skincare. This product is perfect for people who over wash their face, skin is constantly dehydrated, has constant redness/irritation, and people who have chronic stress. (when stressed your body released cortisol and it affects your skin barrier!) Key ingredients: Tamanu Oil: an oil that shows remarkable skin-regenerative properties and was used to treat wounds and cure varies skin problems originally. Safflower Oil & Rosehip Seed Oil: 2 plant based oils that have amazing skin nourishing properties. NMF+Ceramides, Phytosterol, and Squalane: this cocktail of ingredients is meant to mimic a healthy skin barrier. All these elements are natually found in your skin already, when you put your body in a stressful state we loose these ingredients, so replenishing them in important. I love using this after my adapelene gel because I know then my skin won't get to irritated by the retinol product the next day. **Every purchase of GBR helps protect not only your skin barrier but the Great Barrier Reef as well! 2% of all sales go towards the GBRFoundation. So you're not only helping your skin but also the environment. Tip: Press Reset! Sometimes our skin needs a little bit of a break from all the ingredients that we like to use.

Krave GBR-Redness/Skin Barrier Serum
What is it? A creamy serum that is designed to build up your skin barrier with an assortment of oils and moisturizing factors. It has tamanu oil, safflower oil, rosehip oil, squalane, niacinamide, and ceramides. It is for people who overwash their face, use too many harsh products, has a depleted skin barrier, and needs to press reset on their skin. My thoughts 💭 This serum has saved my husbands face. He had dry red eczema-like patches and within a week this serum helped them go away. My husband has been using consistently for almost 4 months (he uses a very small amount on his sensitive eczema areas). I got this for him because I have seen it raved about for those with sensitive skin! I took off one star because it does leave him a little oily, that could just be him and not the product however (men 🙄). I have never had a skin barrier issue, but I know that when and if I do this will save me. I have oily skin so I am not sure how it would do with my skin type, but I am sure it would be fine as all the ingredients are low on the comedogenic scale. Final takeaways 🗣 If you use harsh ingredients (AHA’s, BHA’s, retinols, Retin-A, etc.) this would be an amazing product to have on hand just to be able to use it as needed. I highly recommend getting this if you are worries about your skin barrier being compromised! It is $28 for 1.35oz and KraveBeauty is an amazing female entrepreneur owned company! This product is unique and so necessary for the skincare community! Krave - Great Barrier Relief

It’s not bad at all - I was just surprised!!
Krave-Great Barrier Relief
Here comes the kravebeauty Great Barrier Relief. You've heard of this one, right? it's already a fan favorite that's formulated to strengthen and protect the skin’s barrier, soothing and restoring it. I see the word 'barrier' and I. am. there. Anyway, our skin’s barrier is like a security guard that sits at the top of our epidermis. For all intents and purposes, it keeps the good in (hydration) and the bad out (bacteria, particles, etc.). A thin, weak or damaged skin barrier irritates more easily and more prone to breakouts. I think I've compromised my skin's barrier, so a barrier that is functioning optimally is what I all want! The Great Barrier Relief contains tamanu oil, safflower oil and rosehip seed oil. These plant-based oils are known for their healing properties and have a light consistency that doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. It also contains ceramides to help protect the epidermis from environmental damage; plus, squalane which is clinically proven to be non-irritating, making it great for people with sensitive skin. I got my hands on this about two months ago, when my skin experienced more sensitivity than usual or reacts to products that it didn’t react to in the past, even products with much milder ingredients like hyaluronic acid. At that time I knew I need to repair my skin's barrier, so I was very hopeful for this product. I simplified my skincare routine and added this in. My skin has been pretty happy since I’ve introduced it.
