MY DAILY ROUTINE! ok I've tried a million products and this

MY DAILY ROUTINE! ok I've tried a million products and this is what is in my current line up. I have dry skin so the layering of serums and oils is key for me! The coveted “but what order do I do them in?”: This is what I do and what works for me! -Cleanse -tone -serum -moisturizer -eye cream -face oils -makeup primer -makeup Making sure my face is properly primed with skincare is so essential in making my makeup look as good as possible. Having extremely dry skin I always look for a serum that has a high percentage of hyaluronic acid for added intense moisture. I'm really loving the Luzern oxygen creme right now because the creme is hydrating without leaving a heavy film or residue on the skin and the oxygen aspect really helps calm my sensitive skin. Luzern Labs Force De Vie Pure Oxygen Crème Luxe
➤ ⠀ 𝑰𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑻: ☁️ @luzernlabs Force De Vie Pure Oxygen Crème Luxe ☁️ It is an anti-aging moisturizer designed to Oxygenate, Nourish and Hydrate all skin types. ☁️ It contains Oxygen! Let me explain 👩🏽‍🔬: The human body needs an adequate supply of Oxygen to function at it’s best capacity, this includes our skin. As we age, the Oxygen levels in our skin also decrease which can result in lack of collagen synthesis (premature aging), impaired cell renewal (dull, rough), and hyperpigmentation (age spots). Oxygen is a catalyst and energy source for most cellular functions, including collagen production and cellular detoxification. ☁️ It also contains Co-Q10, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Organic Bio-Suisse Extracts, Hyaluronic Acid, Lipids and Ceramides. These combined ingredients promote firmer, more radiant skin. They are meant to diminish fine lines, wrinkles and other imperfections, and hydrate the skin’s protective barrier without feeling heavy 🙌🏽 ☁️ The texture is a silky light crème that’s tacky to the touch, but sinks in without feeling greasy. It leaves behind a beautiful dewy glow and smells faintly of citrus. ☁️ Force De Vie means Life Force. @luzernlabs is dedicated to provide Clean Luxury Skincare that delivers results. Their products are cold formulated in small batches to preserve the potency of the ingredients used, and keep toxins out. Have you tried anything from @luzernlabs? the time has come... REVIEW MY ROUTINE!
hey Cherie fam! i finally decided it was time to post my daily/weekly routine!! i’ve curated this routine over a looooong period of time, and i think i’ve almost got it right! so here it is: TWICE DAILY: i like to double cleanse, so i always start with the FATCO - Cleansing Oil for Normal/Combo Skin i’ve used this oil on and off for the last few years, and i’ve really been loving it lately! it moisturizes and helps remove makeup, dirt, and any oils my skin has produced during the day. then i go with my Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser i like this cleanser a lot because i feel like it actually cleanses my skin, unlike a lot of cleansers i’ve tried that only feel like they’re cleaning the top layer of my skin. this one gets deep! next, i use a few drops of the no b.s. - Vitamin C + E Serum i really like this serum because i feel like it’s helped even out my skin tone and texture and it doesn’t take forever to soak into my skin! as the packaging recommends, i leave this to sit for about 5 minute for moving on to my next step. however, during those 5 minutes, i’ll apply my VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel this is the FIRST under eye product i’ve ever used that REALLY WORKS to get rid of my dark circles!! magic in a tube if you ask me. after those 5 minutes have passed, i’ll use 3-5 spritzes of the INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner this is the newest product in my routine, but i’m in LOVE! i’ve been looking for a great toner for a while now, and this one, which happened to be a gift, is so great! it moisturizes and sets my skin without leaving me feeling stripped or sticky. finally, i moisturize with my all time fave: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer this moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated without being sticky or oily. i would highly recommend for those with dry, tires skin! EVERY MORNING: in the morning, i like to use the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 it’s a really great, really affordable SPF that doesn’t make my skin feel greasy or grimy. ONCE A WEEK: i’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions about The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution , but i’m a fan! i think it leaves my skin feeling great, and not stripped at all which is pretty common for me with most chemical exfoliants. i usually use this peel after cleansing, but before the rest of my routine. so, what do you think?? i’d love to hear your compliments, comments, and critiques on my routine.
The ultimate basic cleanser from Neutrogena!
This is a fantastic, clean option for those who want a gentle face wash! It’s marketed as a cleanser that’s especially safe for dry and sensitive skin. It has a sort of gel/cream consistency rather than a soapy one, meaning it does foam or bubble up. I love that this is totally free of fragrance and parabens, and leaves my skin feeling soft and happy. It’s available at the drugstore for a pretty good price (usually around $9). It looks very similar to another cleaner from Neutrogena that foams up, so make sure you pick that bottle that says “creamy formula” if you’d like this one. If you have very oily skin, this probably isn’t the best option for you since it really doesn’t take much off the skin. It also doesn’t remove makeup well on it’s own. However, if you’d just like a very simple cleanser and have essentially dry skin, this is a fantastic option.Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser
How I “Plop”/Air Dry My Wavy/Curly Hair w/ pics!
Do you have naturally curly or wavy hair? What about cults/waves that you’ve been taming with heat tools for years? Want to improve your curl/wave pattern over time? This is for you! About my hair: thick, long, some layers, curly/wavy, dry What you’ll need: •100% cotton t-shirt •leave-in conditioner •curl cream, gel, mousse, etc (whatever you prefer) •patience, because this takes a while! I’ve included a numbered pictorial so you can follow along, but please note that each numerical label isn’t necessarily its own step. Some are just additional angles. This method is part of the “curl girl” method and is called “plopping”. “Plopping” with cotton gently removes moisture while reducing frizz and helping natural patterns look more defined. Steps: 1. Start with freshly washed hair. Squeeze your hair with your towel a few times until it’s no longer dripping wet. No more towel after this. 2. Scrunch hair with your cotton t-shirt for about 15-20 seconds. 3. Use your fingers to apply a leave-in conditioner, or if your leave-in is a spray, just spray it and finger comb through. 4. Scrunch hair with t-shirt again. Your hair should no longer be super wet. 5. Apply your preferred curl or wave product and make sure to disperse throughout your hair starting with your ends. 6. Use your hands to scrunch. Flip head upside down and continue to scrunch. 7. Lay your t-shirt on a flat, clean surface (I use my bed). The neck should face towards you. 8. Gather all of your hair with your head up aside down as if making a ponytail and place in the center of the t-shirt. 9. Fold the bottom portion of the t-shirt onto itself, then take that folded section up over your hair towards your neck. Your forehead should be touching the neck of the t-shirt. 10. Use 1 hand to hold the shirt in place while taking each sleeve and tying them together. You will need to switch your hands during this step. The tie should sit low on your head. 11. Leave hair in shirt 20-30 min (depending on hair thickness). 12. Take hair out of shirt, flip over, part with fingers or comb (if desired, but don’t comb anything else!!), and air dry. My hair takes about 3-4 hours to fully dry post-“plop”. If you want to use a hair oil, use it before wrapping your hair. Products I used: KRISTIN ESS - Ultra Hydrating Curl Leave-In Cream and IGK - Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel . There are good YouTube videos out there to learn more if you are wanting to learn more about this method!

Avene thermal spray
Avene thermal spray
I have been using this product for a year now and I have had some mixed feelings. For the price it is very useful to just have. I love just spraying this all over my face but I haven’t actually seen real results. It feels nice while it is on your skin but I honestly wouldn’t repurchase the product. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone unless they were looking for a product similar to the evian spray.

i recently picked up the beauty filter cream glow from @sonandparkofficial on @sokoglam ✨ when they say glow, they are really not lying! it is sooo illuminating however, it leaves a pretty serious white cast on my skin. this being said, i love using this under makeup! my base makeup covers up the white cast but leaves the beautiful glow peaking through. this cream is great for oily skin as it works to control sebum production as well!

It’s going to be bright & sunn
It’s going to be bright & sunny so I’m hoping to go to the movies or maybe the pool. ☀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This Avène Thermal Spring Water is an intriguing product to me because I’m not sure when best to use it. I’ve been using it after toning to prep my face for treatments & that’s working pretty well for now. I may use it as a makeup refresher too. 👍🏾 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
