Beauty tips from my dermatologist
I recently went to see my dermatologist, Dr.Parrish Sadeghi in Santa Monica. She gave me some helpful beauty tips. Apparently the secret to having good, healthy skin is very simple - less is more. I have sensitive skin and if you read some of my earlier posts you know I use A LOT of products. Dr. Sadeghi told me to get rid of all of them because I don't need them 😫 "all of those (beauty) brands do a great job at marketing to you and making you believe you need their products to look good. It keeps me in business but to be honest we dermatologists never buy those products, unless it has scientifically proven ingredients such as retinol." Here are her tips for restoring balance for my sensitive skin: 1. Wash my face with CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin it's a simple, hydrating, fragrance-free face wash. She also recommends replacing my body wash with this cleanser. My body gets dry and itchy in winter and after I started using this cleanser for shower my body no longer feels dry! 2. Stop using anything with acid on my skin, except for hylauronic acid since it's not really an acid 3. Moisturize with CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin This large jar costs less than $20 and I can say it works better than any of my other $50-$100 moisturizers! I have a red circle on right cheek. It looks like a small scar and it's been there for quite some time. I've tried so many serums and moisturizers but nothing seemed to work. Then I started using CeraVe twice a day and within a few weeks I could barely see the red spot any more! 4. Wear physical sunscreen every day. Your sunscreen should have zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I will talk about her sunscreen recommendations in another post😝 Looks like this holiday season I'm going to be saving a lot of money. CeraVe is my new best friend🙌😍

It’s this stuff that saves my eye wrinkles…
My age: 22 My skin tone: light My skin type: dry skin with oily T-zone Major eye concern: fine lines, dark circles Eyes are the most obvious signs of your age. Though you have used expensive skin care products on your face, the fine lines around your eyes reveal your age. That’s why I always care much about my eye care. Last month, I suddenly found many fine lines around my eye corner, and dark circles are always my major concern, so I started to look for great eye cream. Then I found this baby. Intro to Elixir Enriched Wrinkle Cream I got to hear about Elixir when I traveled to Japan last year. It’s an anti-aging skincare brand under SHISEIDO, with 13 years of No.1 sales in Japan. I found some good reviews on Instagram about this enriched wrinkle cream, so I bought one on Amazon. It cost me $69, which is rather expensive. Its main target is to anti wrinkles around your eyes and to provide firmness. The main ingredient is retinol, which creates hyaluronic acid and leads to the flexible skin by increasing moisture content and improves skin. Using feelings You can see from the pics I attached, the cream is light yellow and it has a flower scent, which seize my heart. It’s has mild nature, non-greasy at all and it’s very blendable. It can quickly attach onto the skin with favorable feeling. It absorbs very easily. I can feel it constantly moisturize my eye area and make it soft, refreshing and moist. I prefer to use it only at night, after my skincare routine and apply it under eye area, around the eye corner and onto the eyelids. The Effects The effect is amazing!!! I obviously find my fine lines get smooth, there’re no new wrinkles around the eye corner and the obvious lines are disappearing. Additionally, my dark circles are greatly improved (I’ve been troubled by dark circles since my secondary school). I think it does help me fighting with aging and wrinkles. Do I recommend? Definitely highly recommended! I rate this stuff 5 stars. Although it’s a little costly, it’s 100% worth the money! It’s definitely my must-repurchase.

BEST RETINOL CREAM
I have never used a retinol before and was little scared if it will break me out. But I was so amazed by this drunkelephant Apassioni retinol cream. It claims to diminish the appearance of fines lines, wrinkles, dark spots and younger looking complexion. And the best part is it’s 100% free of essential oils, Silicones and fragrance. However it’s not recommended for use while pregnant or breastfeeding It’s is very lightweight and gentle. I have very sensitive skin and it didn’t break me out at all. It last super long and you will only need a pea size * I have been using this for almost 6 months. I use 3 times a week mixing with my moisturizer, facial oil and hydration serum.. it works amazing 😁 Definitely seeing a difference in my skin texture, overall complexion and brown spots are fading slowly.. Super happy with my purchased and already have my backup ready 😉 I would give this 5/5 ⭐️ It’s retail price is $74 for 1 oz Little pricy but totally worth it but I would recommend buying the 0.33 oz which is $28 comes with mini bhydra (amazing deal) 😁

How to get Healthy Silky Hair
First thing first, it is important to notice what causes frizz hair. Our Hair gets frizzy when it is dry and lacks moisture. Lack of humidity and heat caused by a shower are major causes of frizzy hair! My hair was highlighted for many years and I noticed my ends look lifeless and fried. I have a lot of breakage on my ends and they are super super dry and feeling like straw. I believe it is normally damage for most dark hair going lighter. I was recommended by a stylist friend who works in a salon and he said this was the best product selling last year and I have to try. I’ve always been a big fan of Kerastase and I love their oil. But this is my first time using their shampoo and masks. It is pricy and the result was amazing. KÉRASTASE - Blond Absolu Anti-Brass Purple Shampoo It is important that you use a moisturising or anti-frizzing shampoo that contains humectants like glycerin. This shampoo is a miracle treatment! It is actually the one work just as advertised - reverse and repair damage done to your hair done by bleaching or highlighting. It has an anti-static formula which leaves your hair shiny, smooth and strong. KÉRASTASE - Blond Absolu Anti-Brass Purple Mask I have to highlight this mask! It is an absolutely brilliant product! It does an excellent job on moisture retention, smoothing and protecting. At the same time , you can feel it works great on maintaining your hair’s own moisture and stopping frizzy hair after washing. I have to recommend my favorite product from Kerastase as well that always keeps my hair shiny. KÉRASTASE - Kerastase Elixir Ultime L'huile Originale Oil This serum has very light textures and feels comfortable when you put it on. I normally apply a few drops before going the sleep and next day wake up gorgeous

The Ordinary VS Drunk Elephant
🩸So in this post I’m going to compare The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution with Drunk Elephant’s TLC Sukari Babyfacial. I’m a little bit addicted to chemical exfoliant and I love a nice intense weekly peel so here goes. 🩸Drunk Elephant Babyfacial 🩸Price: $80 🩸Active Ingredients: 25% AHA blend (glycolic, tartaric, lactic and citric), 2% BHA (salicylic), chickpea flour (brightening and balancing), and pumpkin ferment extract (enzymatic exfoliator) 🩸Call Outs: Free of: Parabens, Sulfates, Pthalates, Alcohol, Silicone, Fragrance, Essential Oils, Mineral Oil, and Formaldehydes Clean at Sephora Vegan Cruelty Free 🩸Experience: The texture of this is a lightweight creamy consistency. The directions say to apply a thin layer on clean, dry skin and leave on for 20 minutes then rinse thoroughly. I don’t feel very much of a tingling sensation with this product but my skin is pretty used to acids. I like to follow this with a richer oil and moisturizer. I don’t honestly notice a huge difference in my skin after using this unfortunately especially for the price tag. I have really good luck with a lot of Drunk Elephant products but this one just did not do it for me. 🩸The Ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution 🩸Price: $7.20 🩸Active Ingredients: 30% AHA blend (glycolic, lactic, tartaric, and citric ), 2% BHA (salicylic) hyaluronic acid cross polymer (hydrating and plumping), vitamin B5 (healing), black carrot (antioxidant rich) and Tasmanian Pepperberry Extract (soothing) 🩸Call Outs: Free Of: Alcohol, Oil, Silicone, Nuts, Gluten, Parabens, Pthalates, Formaldehydes, andMineral Oil Vegan Cruelty Free 🩸Experience: This has the texture of a slightly viscous serum. The color of it is a scary looking deep red that legitimately looks like you smeared blood all over your face. The directions say to apply a thin layer to clean dry skin and leave on 8-10 minutes but no longer than 10. This is not a suggestion. I repeat: do not leave this serum on your face for longer than 10 minutes. It tingles intensely...it feels like a million tiny pins lightly poking you and if you have any open wounds or acne you’ve picked at you will definitely feel a little bit of burning. I like to follow this with a heavy oil and moisturizer as well. I have to say this is my favorite product The Ordinary makes and also my favorite peel of all time. It leaves my skin looking so bright and smooth even my nose which never looks bright or smooth looks like literal glass after using this stuff. This stuff is amazing especially for the price. Absolutely recommend if you’re in the market for a peel.
