I'd Rather Get Coal Than...
Cherie is gathering 'I'd rather get a lump of coal than a product" posts, and I'm making one for all of you. So... I'd rather get a coal than JOHN FRIEDA - Violet Crush for Blondes Purple Shampoo This product is just... THE WORST. Here's why: Doesn't go anything positive for your hair. It does not protect bleached hair from bronze tones! Dries out you hair terribly. After a hair bleach, you're already suffering from dry, damaged hair, and this product just makes it worse It has dangerous chemicals like parabens, PEGs, siloxans, EDTA, and... I can go on forever. These ingredient are so bad for you, your skin, and your hair, and John Frieda is loaded with them. Please please please avoid this product at all costs, because I would rather get coal than this for Christmas. Thanks for reading and don't forget to leave a cheer ❤❤

The Best Makeup Brushes: Review
I use my makeup brushes for my concealer (I use the powder kind), blush, eyeshadow, and contour. It is extremely important to have the proper brushes when applying makeup, so here are the three brushes I use and why: e.l.f. - Selfie Ready Powder Brush is awesome! I use this brush to apply my powder concealer and blush. It's very lightweight and soft on the skin. It applies well, the makeup doesn't stick to it, and I would give it 5/5 stars, it's amazing! Next, I have a brush by Quo, I couldn't find the picture of it on Cherie, but I will say that it's very large, so it's good for finishing powder (baking powder). However, because of its size, you can't use it for many things and it's difficult to manuever. It is soft on the skin but the application isn't as great so I will give it 3/5 stars. e.l.f. - e.l.f. Contour Brush This brush has a variety of uses, as it's small and easy to use. I mainly use it to apply eyeshadow and highlighter. It is a contour brush, but I'm not big on contour so I rarely use it for that. This one is not as soft, but it is smaller and it doesn't bother me that much. I will give it 4/5 because it's great for eyeshadow and has good application. Those are the brushes I use, I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Don't forget to leave a cheer ❤ If you have used these brushes, let me know how you found them in the comments. Thanks for reading :)

What I Do To Combat Occasional Pimples
I find sometimes that even though I haven't been doing anything different in my routines, I occasionally break out and I struggle to find out why. Here's what I do to combat random breakouts: Stick to your routine Whenever you break out, it's because something isn't right with the balance on your skin. Don't try new diy recipes and stay away from serums and specialized products. Just cleanse, moisturize, and eye cream. I use Aveeno - Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free because it absorbs well and restores my skin to it's natural state. It's gentle, light, and fragrence free. I would recommend 10/10 Taking away your precious serums is worth it if you're having a random breakout. The ph balance, or the oils, or something might not be helping that's in your serums. So for a couple of days take those away and your skin should start to clear up. I use sukin - Facial Recovery Serum Super Greens 30ml and although I love it, it's s got to go for a couple days. Eye cream is ok for breakouts because we only put them on our eyes, not the entire face. So continue with those as they are lifesavers for dark circles. I use Bio-Cell Eye Gel Cream (on Amazon for $20) As for cleansing, do it twice a day, no more, and use a product your face is familiar with. That is the key: using familiar products. Those are my tips! Thank you for reading and I hope you come back to read more of my posts soon ❤❤❤

Beauty Benefits of Matcha Powder 🍵
I looove matcha!! Although sometimes we forget that it has benefits not only for our insides, but it can also help with tons of beauty problems! If you like this post, don't forget to leave a cheer :) Benefits for hair: I put matcha powder in my hair masks all the time, because not only does it soothe the scalp, it can help lighten hair down to that perfect shade you've been looking for. My soothing oatmeal matcha hair/face mask is posted on my account, please check it out! Benefits for skin: Matcha is amazing for your skin! It can reduce inflammation and help keep your skin dewy and bright :) Those antioxidants in matcha powder can help with anti-ageing too!!! Fine lines and wrinkles can lessen and give you that younger-looking skin. I also recently uploaded my diy matcha brightening mask, it does wonders! Additionally, matcha can actually prevent skin cancer. Not a lot, but enough that you might want to consider adding it to your weekly skincare routine. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) found in matcha can reduce the risk of skin cancer by lessening damage caused by UV exposure. If you have tried adding matcha powder to your skin and hair care routine, please let me know in the comments :) Thank you for reading ❤
HOLY GRAIL Vitamin C Mask For Brightening!!!
My face is SO dull these days! So I created a simple mask containing 2, yes 2! ingredients :) This mask works for all skin types, and is especially good for oily skin. The vitamin C comes from orange juice, so it hydrates as well as absorbing excess oil. I love this as my skin gets oily occasionally. Here are the two ingredients: One tbsp matcha powder Half a squeezed orange Matcha soothes aggravated and res skin. It also has SO many benfits which I have written about in a previous post. Mix the two together until you get a dark green paste like the one in my picture. Make sure you wash your face thoroughly before applying, and use warm water to open pores. Apply until dry, about 15 minutes to half an hour. Once you wash it off, you skin will feel plump, fresh and clean. This is awesome for oily skin, combination skin, and dull skin. It feels so good and is all natural, not to mention the easiest thing ever. Please tell me if you tried it and I hope you enjoyed reading :) ❤❤❤
Hair Mask For Dry Hair & Flaky Scalp
This fall, I have been suffering from dandruff and flaky scalp SO often!!! I read up that avocado moisturizes really well, and that apple cider vinegar removes flakes. Anyways, this easy hair mask can fix it all in just a few uses and it's super easy to make :) It's super easy to make. Grab an avocado, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a tablespoon of honey. Blend it together very well. Make sure there are no clumps from the avocado or else that can be very hard to wash out. Leave in for 15 mins, then wash off and continue with your regular hair routine. That's it!!! Thank you for reading and let me know if you've tried this recipe! Don't forget to leave a cheer ❤❤❤
tonight’s DIY mask! ✨
Tonight I decided to double mask with a DIY turmeric mask and my LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask . This turmeric mask is soooo easy to make, and it provides a nice cooling and tingling effect while it’s applied, and it provides some mild exfoliation, hydration, and brightening! Here’s what you need: Greek Yogurt - plain Raw Honey (make sure there’s no added sugar, that can be irritating to your skin and cause breakouts!) Turmeric Small Bowl Popsicle Stick (or some sort of applicator) Optional: fresh lemon juice I don’t really have exact measurements for this, but today I made enough for me and my mom so I can give ballpark amounts. For yogurt, you’ll want to use about 1.5 spoonfuls, I put about 1/4 tablespoons of honey, a small splash of lemon juice (don’t put too much or it will become too strong and irritating, it should NOT be any of the main ingredients of this mask), and just add turmeric until you’re happy with the color of it (or you can put 1 tablespoon). Mix it with a spoon or your applicator, and then apply to your face. Leave it for 10 mins and then wipe or wash it off. Finish off with your full nighttime skincare routine and enjoy your bright, hydrated, exfoliated skin! Since I used a BHA exfoliating scrub/cleanser today, I decided to finish my skincare routine with my favorite calming LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask .

Worrying About Hair Loss Problem?
Try Some DIY Natural Hair Growth Oil! Home-made DIY hair growth oil, using natural ingredients, can not only make the hair refresh but also solve hair loss problem. Here I will share my own hair growth oil recipe. Try and make some budget-friendly hair growth oil at home! Secrets for the hair growth oil: Peppermint essential oil Peppermint oil has menthol that not only helps you relax but also stimulates thick and strong hair growth. It also nourishes your hair, scalp and helps tackle problems like dandruff, hair loss, dry, frizzy hair and more. Coconut oil Coconut oil is high in medium-chain fatty acids called lauric acid. This fatty acid allows the coconut oil to deeply penetrate your hair shaft and moisturize your hair. It also seals the moisture in your hair, making it soft, smooth and manageable. It contains antibacterial and antifungal properties. This helps in eliminating the dandruff-causing fungus that could slow your hair growth. Recommended Recipe: Coconut oil + Peppermint essential oil Ingredients: 3 Tablespoon Coconut Oil 10 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil How To Use: 1.Mix all the ingredients properly in a bowl. Apply it to your scalp and then to your hair strands. 2.Gently massage for 3-5 minutes. 3.You can keep it overnight or you can rinse it off with shampoo after 45 minutes. Repeat it 2-3 times a week. After using this hair growth oil for a few months, the hair around the hairline apparently grow more! Strongly recommend this recipe!
7 tinted moisturizers that really work for acne-prone skin
Acne can be a really unpleasant condition - we’ve all been there to some extent - and it can be challenging to know what products to use to improve the appearance of your skin. There’s a myth that tinted moisturizers are only suitable for drier skin types, but if you chose a product that is formulated for your skin type, they can be a lifesaver for oily and acne prone complexions.

Detoxing your makeup bag? Check out these organic beauty brands
As many of us are becoming more conscious of what we put in our bodies, it makes sense that we should be just as conscious about what we’re putting on them too. The performance of organic makeup used to be poor in comparison to the wider market, but now brands are creating organic products that are just as pigmented, durable, and easy to use.
