Setting powder sets our foundation and makes it last. It can make the skin texture seem finer, as it makes the pores look smaller. Last, but not least, setting powder removes the stickiness created by foundation or concealer... so for those who don’t know, my skin is very oily and I honestly having to rely just on a matte foundation wasn’t doing too good for me and my skin because it ended up looking super cakey by the end of the day 😩 when this product came out and a bunch of YTbers were raving about it (especially the ones with oily skin), I knew that I had to try it out and let me tell you, it’s quite amazing!🥳 It’s a gel formula that actually has very little slip to it and it’s quite tacky, so it’s hard to spread around the face, however if you apply just enough all of your skin, it leaves a tacky finish that your foundation clings onto and ensure the oils and everything through the skin doesn’t penetrate the skin makeup!🤩 it’s quite amazing that the only area on my face is my nose that gets oily, however the makeup doesn’t breakdown like before, it just needs a little blotting and I can keep going through my day Before I would always have to carry a powder and puff to blot off the oil and the pat to mattfiy that area, but now I just carry a puff, that helps me blot off oil and fix up the makeup without needing powder and I’m telling y’all, my skin still looks bomb by the end of the day!👏🏽 it’s that good! These are my favorite concealers! I use them all regularly and they all have different purposes and coverages. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick this is full coverage!! Nothing is shining through this product. I can be used as a concealer or foundation. This does not go with a full coverage foundation as it can make your makeup look caked on. I will use this with a lighter foundation. It still allows for full coverage. I use this when i am contouring but I might try it as a foundation because i love the coverage it gives. This is more of a cream than a liquid. It retails for $20. I use the shade Koa. L.A. Girl - HD Pro Concealer i usually get the shade fawn but i picked up the wrong one that’s why it is lighter than the others. The photo shows the shade Cool Tan. This is my favorite of the 3. It gives great coverage without making me look cakey no matter what foundation I use and it is the cheapest of the 3. It retails for $5 at Ulta. IL MAKIAGE - F*ck I’m Flawless Multi-use Perfecting Concealer this is the lightest of the 3. It won’t cake and can be built to full coverage. I like this for light makeup days or when I’m going for a no makeup makeup look. Its also super easy to mix with other shades which I like to do when I’m getting darker in the summer to find my perfect shade. I use the shade 14.5. This retails for $26. #CheriePartner

FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation in 420 is my perfect foundation. the original formula was too matte for me - my mother once described my face as “casket sharp” - not a compliment! 😖 i love the addition of grapeseed oil (which i love for my hair), and clearly fenty changed the game with shade ranges. i only need one pump, and i blend with REAL TECHNIQUES - Foundation Brush - a great inexpensive brush, with nice firm bristles. i have had very expensive makeup brushes, and honestly real techniques and sonia kashuk have been my favorites.
