How To Grow Your Eyebrows! Best Serum Ever!
Let me tell you how I transformed my damaged 90s brows! I discovered a serum that works wonders. It’s called RapidLash - Eyebrow Enhancing Serum and I cannot hype this product enough. This is the main thing that completely restored my brows! I’ve used this product inconsistently for maybe three years (laziness). I did see growth but it wasn’t significant. It was only after I started consistently using this product I really started seeing a noticeable difference. My right brow took much quicker to grow back and shape. My left brow was and still is the problem. As you can tell by the pictures but it has taken her much much longer to grow and is still lagging behind her sister. What I think sped up the process was being quarantined. I’d apply the serum twice a day after my skin care routine to ONLY my left brow so she can catch up. As you can tell by the picture of me in my car you can see that she got really bushy compared to my right brow that barely lost its shape. Now it’s a bit pricey, $39.99 on Ulta Beauty, but I think it’s well worth it for the results you’re getting also it lasts me a about three months if I use it daily. I 100% recommend this product for anyone that wants to regrow their brows. Just buy one bottle and give it a go I swear you won’t regret it! You can also use Castor oil which also worked great for me but unfortunately it severally broke me out so I stopped using it. STOP PLUCKING YOUR BROWS. I know it’s hard. When they grow in they start losing their shape and as a result it chances your face. But don’t let it get to you! Ignore them! You can always fill them in and conceal any stray hairs. Just be patient the end result will be worth it! During this whole process I got my brows one once every THREE months. That’s right. I let them grow as much as I could before I went to get them shaped by a professional. Bonus tip. Go to the right brow technician! I have searched high and low for the right brow guru for years. I remember when my brows got so thick (I grew them for 6 months) and perfect for shaping and I went to a salon and the lady made my brows sooooo thin I wanted to cry. Right now I think it’s easier to find the right person because a lot of professionals post their work on social media. I’d dedicate some time to find the right person for the job. When you schedule an appointment to your brow savior make sure you are on the same page of what you expect from your appointment. Bring inspiration pictures. Ask them not to take much off. Explain that you’re on a regrowth journey. I hope this helped some of you! Let me know if you’ve ever used RapidLash - Eyebrow Enhancing Serum and if you got the same results as I did!🧡

I found this color on Pinterest (3rd picture) and thought omg I need it ASAP because this is a color I’m instantly drawn to. I love a good creamy light pink color! Sadly the OPI infinite shine 2 formula in the color its Pink P.M. was a complete fail as you can tell by the last two pictures that a completely raw and unedited. In the bottle the color looks like a cool pink color. Once you apply it, it changed to a pink with a peachy undertone (I instantly disliked it because peach colors don’t really suit my hands). I didn’t like the I consistency of the color formula but kept the color on to see how it would last throughout the week. Needless to say it didn’t. If you read my Sally Hansen post you probably know I’m a chef so I’m the ideal candidate to rest all nail polishes haha! So the nail polish chipped the second day. The funny thing is I’m not working! I wasn’t even doing anything with my hands that day and the nail polish was already failing me! Then things turned for the worst...the tips started to turn an awful orange color (I’m not a smoker)! Now I have a ombré of orange to pink going on and I’m still not sure what happened here.. I wanted my next post to be raving about an exfoliating product but this nail polish was just too bad not to share so you don’t waste your money. To be honest maybe the formula for their other shade might be better but this wasn’t the business girl! Unfortunately this color turned me off from wanting to try other colors from this collection. So I don’t recommend anyone buying this shade. OPI - Long Lasting Nail Polish Infinite Shine 2

How To Grow Strong Healthy Long Nails!
How to grow strong, healthy, natural nails! Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! This week I felt inspired to share how I learned to get my nails to grow longer and stronger. It’s relatively easy if you are dedicated and are willing to take a few extra steps. Here’s a little background on my nail story. I never bit my nails (only because the thought of the amount of germs and bacteria that live on our hands just grossed me out) or picked at my cuticles. What I noticed that significantly damaged my nails was when I got fake nails (obviously). They completely destroyed my nail beds. They were painful, soft, brittle, peeled, you name it! So I stopped and gave my nails time to breathe. Then I discovered gel and how convenient it was. But again the constant nail buffing damaged my nails causing them to dry out and peel. So I decided to track back to regular nail polish thinking it would solve all my problems but no! My nails continues to break and peel. I later realized that I wasn’t going to the best nail salons. Sure they were quick and inexpensive but they didn’t use the best products and techniques to maintain nail health. So I started doing my own manicures and learned from trial and error how to get my nails to where they are today. So first thing I’d like to recommend (professional nail tech please don’t come for me) is to stop ALL forms of buffing to the nail bed. I noticed once that stopped my nails got thicker and had less noticeable lines and ridges. Next I bought a better top coat. For the last two years I’ve been using the nailtiques brand. They have different formulas for different needs and they worked pretty good to protect my nails. I don’t recommend buying it on amazon they’re extremely over priced there. nailtiques - Nail Protein Formula 2 Plus ***This is very important: when changing your nail color be aware of the nail polish remover that you use! Most nail polish removers are very abrasive and skin the natural oils of you nails so make sure to wash your hand thoroughly after you finish. Make sure to apply hand lotion after to moisturize your nails again. Don’t apply your nail polish right away give your nails enough time to absorb the lotion. I noticed the EXTREME change this step did in improving my nails. Whenever I went to the salon they never washed my nails thorough to get rid of all the acetone and just applied polish right on top causing my nails to get chemically damaged and turn yellow.*** I also don’t wear nail polish every week. I like to give my nails a break every month and skip color for one or two weeks so my nails can breath. On the days my nails are bare I notice they can get dry so a good hand cream is a must. Our nails are very porous so just like our hands they go through the day to day environmental battles that can take their toll in the long run. So on the days you don’t wear nail polish make sure to keep your nails and hand hydrated. I use Cerave. Personally it’s the best body lotion that doesn’t irritate my skin on the market. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Next I know we all heard biotin is great for hair skin and nails but I would always always always break out. In my opinion it wasn’t worth the hassle of having bad skin just for my nails to grow quicker. That is until I discovered Neocell Biotin Bursts on amazon. They’re small chewy vitamins that taste like açaí berries packed with 10,000mcg of biotin. Now anything over 1,000 mcg of biotin broke me out and this guy does not! So if you always wanted to add biotin to your dietary intake but couldn’t because it broke you out I really recommend this product. I noticed my nails grow quicker and stronger since I started taking the vitamins. Another great vitamin that you can add to your diet is Omega 3 fatty acids. I read that it can aid in moisturizing the nails and helps combat dryness and brittleness. Okay and finally I left the less fun part for the very end...changing your bad habits. This includes biting your nails and picking at your cuticles. Using your nails as tools which includes picking and scraping at things. Having a bad diet and not drinking enough water. Exposing your hands to chemicals. All these can significantly make your nails weaken and brittle your nails. It may be a bit challenging at first but it’s worth it in the end! I hope this post brought some value to your nail growth journey! Let me know what think! Also if you feel like you have anything to add so we can all learn something to help us grow our nail drop a comment below!
CeraVe-Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin
It’s Just Okay...
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all well! Today I’m here to talk about an underwhelming product unfortunately. I purchased the LANEIGE - Eye Sleeping Mask because I read great reviews about it back in the fall/winter. It promised to depuff and hydrate tired dry eyes. That was exactly what I needed since in the cooler months my skin gets a bit dry and I notice a bit of fine lines under my eyes. First time trying it I was excited! The packaging is beautiful. It’s a heavy glass bottle so it feels luxurious to hold. The applicator was really cool against the skin and it felt calming around the area. The smell was very light and kinda of herbal. The product itself was very light almost watery but hydrating at first but when it absorbed into my skin it didn’t feel exactly hydrating and left a little sticky residue behind. It didn’t really bother me. I used it for about two weeks and I noticed I started developing milia around my eye area. Now normal I never had milia or any sort of irritation from the eye products I’ve tried in the past so this was a bit upsetting. I stopped using it soon after. So for the two weeks that I used the product I can’t say it gave me any results. My eyes were still puffy and I can’t say it hydrated my eye area. Some mornings the area felt dehydrated or maybe it was the sticky residue that settled and dried up. Maybe if you use it longer you’d see better results but if you’re prone to milia I’d skip this product.

This Bottle Saw It All
Hey everyone! So this isn’t going to be a pretty post because this bottle has went through hell and back. Believe it or not but this was once a pretty bottle of cleanse from Kate Somerville. I actually finished it a month ago but kept putting off posting it because everything rubbed off. This is one this I actually really really really hated about this product. Whenever I’d go to wash my face the label would flake off and I’d feel it on my face as I rubbed it😖 It really grossed me out so I ended up just rubbing the label off completely by hand to avoid more flaking. Besides that I actually think it did a great job cleansing my skin! If I wasn’t such a skin care whore I’d probably repurchase it but it’s rare that I stay loyal to a cleanser🤷🏻♀️ Anyway I bought her at Sephora for $38 and it lasted me three months of washing my face twice a day. It claims gently cleanse the skin of oil and make up without stripping the skin. It also claims that users noticed pores were noticeably cleansed and purified. Personally I always double cleanse whenever I wear makeup so I can’t confirm that on its own this product will completely wash off makeup completely BUT it did leave my skin feeling baby soft. Although I didn’t notice my pores clearing up. I have a significant amount of black heads on my skin and pretty large pores but it didn’t do them any justice. It didn’t strip my skin of its natural oils and it didn’t break me out. It did help with any texture that i had on my skin. All in all I think this is a great basic cleanser. I kind of wish I was using it now because the cleanser I’m testing at the moment is just a big fail. 🤦🏻♀️ Stay tuned for that.

Your Skin But Better In A Bottle!
Here’s a little background on my skin. She’s a high maintenance b*tch that likes to suck my bank account dry. Boujee on a budget it? 75% of the time for her that’s not the case. I hate her for it. I can’t stand that my skin looks so PERFECT when I applied Pat McGraths skin fetish foundation because this little bottle cost me $68 plus tax!😵 It looks so amazing that I bought two bottles: shade 5 a light neutral undertone for when I’m fair in the winter and shade 14 a medium neutral undertone when I’m the most sun kisssd in the summer. With these two bottles I’m also able to customize my shade when I’m in between shades during the year. Now to be honest I don’t wear makeup everyday. 90% of the time I’m bare faced. I usually put in makeup if I’m going somewhere special such as an event, on a date, feeling creative or when I need to remind myself that I’m still that b*tch. So I’m actually okay with spending a little more on a nice foundation because I know it’ll last me a long time and if it’s worth it. So the question is..is it worth it? For me YES! I bought her toward the end of summer 2019 and it has served me well through the changing NYC weather and my ever adjusting skin. Whether my skin was really dry or slightly oily the foundation sat on my skin perfectly throughout the day. It’s a nice medium coverage foundation that can be built up or sheered out depending on the look you’re going for. 1/2 to 3/4 or a pump is enough for me to get a sheer/light natural coverage where it looks like my skin just the imperfections have been discreetly masked. To get full glam coverage I can get away with one and a half pumps then not even a beauty mark in my face will peak through! In my profile picture was the first time I used the foundation and I really sheered it out because it was a hot summer day. That day I got a little oily in my t zone but the foundation lasted all day. I don’t really blot or powder because I like the dewy look on myself but also I don’t because I’m lazy and I forget and most of the time at the end of the day I genuinely don’t care haha! In my last picture that I added in this post was when I was feeling creative and really used a heavy hand to apply the foundation. In that post I DID NOT PHOTOSHOP OR BLUR MY SKIN!!!! All I did was adjust the lighting in light room and added a filter to make the three images to blend better. But I couldn’t believe how airbrushed my face came out. The proof is in the pudding. I think it shows how far you can go with this foundation.
