HELP!! i need some products!
i have relatively clear skin except for my forehead and a couple blackheads on my nose. as you can see from my skin journey my pores are larger than normal..which i have never noticed because of my freckles. i would love to get more suggestions about what i can improve about my skincare routine, including if i should change the products i use. i have sensitive skin (ALSO IF ANYONE CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING BETWEEN MY EYEBROWS THATLL BE HELPFUL) this is my current skincare routine/what makeup products i use a lot: • CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin : i feel like this helps but it makes my skin really tight and i feel i've started breaking out more on my forehead since starting it • CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin : smells kinda nasty and i feel like it makes me break out • Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream : honestly i like this but it feels rly heavy on my face so i get kinda nervous putting it on my nose and t zone • Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser : really good i just don't like how much it is- honestly kinda works the same as cerave •LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask Limited Edition-Sweet Candy : i LOVEEEE this not rly considered skincare ig •MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotion : it sometimes works • Clean&Clear - Deep Cleansing Salicylic Acid Acne Medicine Facial Toner please lmk if any of these could be damaging my skin or if you have any recommendations for my skin ❤️❤️

Yeoth Brand Mist is a total Flop
Yeoth Brand Mist is a total Flop
I'm very drawn to skin care brands that are simple and ingredient focused. Yeoth is definitely that. They attracted me right away with ingredients like retinol and hyaluronic acid. I love mists and sprays and usually I like the more gentle the better. This one has chamomile and alcloxa for acne. And honestly I think its it's all a gimmick. I used this product for so long and felt no benefits. No calming. No moisture. I did an experiment where I just sprayed my face with water, and I swear that did more for me. I ended up mixing in another more moisturizing toner in it so it didn't feel so pointless to use. This brand also doesnt claim to be cruelty free from what I saw. It's tough, I like the looks of their creams, but they are all in tub form. I just don't like dipping my fingers into a container and knowing the product is expiring so quick being exposed to oxygen. So, it's a no from me unfortunately to most of the Yeoth products although I may still consider some of their syrums which seem reasonably priced.

Innisfree pore clearing toner
Innisfree pore clearing toner
innisfree - Pore Clearing Toner with Volcanic Cluster This toner is watery and you need to shake it before using it. It honestly smells amazing, but I just don’t think a toner needs fragrance to be honest. I’d rather have a toner without fragrance that a nice smelling one. Other than that, this does a pretty good job at controlling oils and breakouts at the end. It absorbs well and I use it twice a day now, but follow with a hydrating toner. It didn’t irritate my skin at all even though it has alcohol and fragrance high on the list, but you should keep in mind that it could be irritating. Honestly such a good toner but I wouldn’t repurchase just because of the fragrance! If you don’t mind fragranced skincare, go for this!

This is my face the past two d
This is my face the past two days. I’ve always had bad acne, but this might be the worst it’s ever been. Sweating in a mask for 8 hours doesn’t help I’m sure. I’ve tried so many things. Countless products, regular facials, birth control, and a healthy diet. I tagged the products I’m currently using and I recently ordered The ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% , AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane And an 2% lactic acid 10% sulfur bar of soap to control it if it’s fungal. —Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated

Okay, so here we go! 🤭 (p.s. I’m not sure how to turn off the audio, I was listening to podcasts lol) PRODUCTS USED: • YTTP Superfood Cleanser;First off, smells AMAZING, like a green juice for your face! 🥬 • YTTP 11% Glycolic Acid Toner; I like it, it just leaves me face a tad sticky-like? It’s tolerable but slightly annoying & I feel like I go through it so quickly 🍊 • YTTP Superfood Reset Mask; I LOVE doing this mask, even my boyfriend tries to join me. It smells great & goes on very nicely! I’ve been doing it for the last 3 weeks or so and I feel like it’s helped a lot! I do about 2 times a week 🥬 • April Skin Peel Off Mask;I LOVE this mask! It’s such a rush to peel it off. And it makes my skin feel amazing after! • YTTP Adaptogen Soothe+Hydrate Mist;I like this! Although, it’s doesn’t smell the best, which is unfortunate ;( but it’s hydrating with hyalauronic acid! A good refresher! 🤍 • MMT Skin Cream;this cream is amazing!! It kind of leaves your face a bit greasy-ish but it’s tolerable. I usually pair it with the oil then this on top and it’s been my nightly routine & I love it! 🧴 • MMT Juniper Carrot Seed Oil;☝🏼 like I said, this works GREAT with the face cream. It doesn’t smell too strong and soaks in relatively quickly! 🐈 Okay, here are some details on my skin journey! 🤗 So I’ve been through like 3 different kinds of acne over the last 4-6 months. I went from what I thought was Milia around last Oct-Dec. (THIRD pic!) milia;develop when tiny skin flakes become trapped in small pockets near the surface of the skin. Then I went through hormonal acne around Jan-March. I knew this because I started getting cystic acne, especially around my chin. That led me to a dermatologist, prescribing Spiranolactane, which I stopped taking at the end of March when I didn’t think I needed it anymore. (4-6 PICS—Taken in Feb/April!) hormonal acne;usually the result of male hormones such as testosterone (yes, even as a woman, your body produces a small amount of testosterone) and other androgens. Lastly, I’ve been having some respiratory problems and had to take Amoxicillin for a week. I also changed my skincare routine ( SECOND PIC ). And ever since the beginning of April, my skin is FINALLY clearing up! So, now I’m recovering from acne scars. I don’t know if these prescriptions had any affect or if it was simply my hormones finally calming down (FIRST PIC). Therefore, I wanted to share some perspective on my prescriptions/skincare/routines and how they affected my combination skin. My best advice is to STICK to a routine for a few weeks and GO to a dermatologist! 🌞

Any tips?
Any tips?
My skin is oily/acne-prone, as you can see... Idk what to do. So i’ve recently just started using more organic products such as Black Soap, Lemon & Turmeric. But i’ve also incorporated Sulfur for my stubborn cystic acne. I’ve seen improvements in my hyperpigmentation, however I still break out weekly😒 I’m thinking my skin is imbalanced... Help😩 * I’m currently using a turmeric cleanser in the day + rose hip toner + aloe to balance ph + a serum that also has rose hip & aloe. For my moisturizer I use GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream + a lil extra niacinamide. * At night, I have been alternating every other day for 2 days out the week then return to a routine I’ve been following for a month. I cleanse with a turmeric cleanser with this alternative routine. I also use Salicylic Acid & Glycolic acid in this mask:#Herbalife Skin®️ - Purifying Mint Clay Mask[products]#[FourStars] Following this, I use MARIO BADESCU - Cucumber Cleansing Lotion plus spot treatment: PAULA'S CHOICE - REGULAR STRENGTH DAILY SKIN CLEARING TREATMENT WITH 2.5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE & 8% their AHA gel exfoliant. * ~ Usually I’d use a sulfur soap... (first time using soap). Following that I use a good bacteria gel, with ingredients like: Willow Bark Extract, Niacinamide,Clove Oil, Petitgrain Oil, Allantoin. Next I use a Retinol & Collagen cream, I let that absorb of course... Next I apply an Acne Spot Treatment with ingredients such as: ”Resveratrol”- balances good bacteria. ; Calamine: keeps sebum production in check, helping to prevent future blemishes Clover Oil: clear cystic acne, reducing swelling as it kills infection. Following the application of this spot treatment I let it absorb & follow up with another spot treatment, however it has 20% sulfur & zinc.... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Acne? We don't know her 😉
Acne? We don't know her 😉
I have never been so shook by the results of a spot acne treatmemt until I tried this. This product claims to treat those large under the skin bumps and cystic acne... and believe me it gets the job done! This product is recommended for night time use only and on a clean bare skin. I am lucky to not have to battle with extreme acne issues, but like everyone else I do get those occasional big and painful pimples that take forever and a half to disappear. I simply take a little dot on my finger tip and apply the product directly to the problem area, leave it overnight, and BAM💥 its gone or drastically smaller by morning time - so I'd definitely recommend trying it! The consistency of this product is a white runny liquid that when dry becomes chalky (as pictured on the second image). I don't mind that it is noticeable when dry because as I said I only use this product at bed time. - 4/5 stars because the runiness of the liquid makes it hard to apply at times.
