Target Blackheads With A Skin Clearing Mask + Custom-Made Serum
Target Blackheads With A Skin Clearing Mask + Custom-Made Serum
Products: ORIGINS - Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores CLINIQUE - Smart Custom-Repair Serum   I wasn’t very much of a mask person as I thought they left the skin dry and parched. That was until I got my hands on Origins masks, specifically their active charcoal mask that’s targeted to unclog pores to clean them thoroughly thus, tightening and helping to shrink their size. I particularly love using a serum that’s specially formulated to target dark spots, lines, and uneven skin texture after unclogging my pores.   Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask I use this 1 to 2 times a week, during nighttime, after I clean my face thoroughly. I love leaving it on for about 15 to 20 minutes before I tone my face and layering all the other skincare products I use at a given time.   I also love using it as a spot corrector when I have the occasional pimple. I love that it really works in getting rid of my pimple when I have one. I also saw that it literally takes out the blackheads that sit on top of my nose. I still have yet to see its effects on shrinking down the size of my pores though.   It doesn’t dry out my already dry combination skin, and I feel my face is super clean after leaving this on. It feels clean and detoxified but not dry and tight. I love this mask and will continue to use it!   Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum Clinique products will always have a spot in my shelf as their products have been working for me since my college years. Now that my skin has since changed and I have developed specific concerns, Clinique helps me in navigating this adult life filled with hyperpigmentation, unsightly huge pores, and uneven texture.   I specifically love using this serum on evenings when I mask as it helps me target the premature aging situation I have going on in my skin. I feel that the Origins mask unclogs my pores, and it then helps my skin prepare to receive all the goodness of the products I use after it.   Since using this product, I’ve noticed that my skin texture became smoother and softer. I don’t have any fine lines yet so I can’t attest to that, but this product has definitely helped in smoothing out the uneven texture of my face. Definitely a must try.

Clean your beauty blender in 1 minute
Clean your beauty blender in 1 minute
I saw this Beauty hack on Tik Tok and thought I would give it a try and see if it actually worked. It’s suppose to be a one minute hack to clean your your beauty blender. Materials Needed: Microwave Microwavable glass Dirty Beauty blender Warm water It was such a simple process and these were the steps I did Steps: 1). Wet your sponge 2). get a glass fill with warm water add a few drops of liquid dishwashing soap mix up with finger. 3). drop the sponge in the water, make sure it’s submerged 4). microwave it for one minute, let the glass cool down before removing from microwave. 5). After the water has cooled, Squeeze out the beauty blender and run it under warm water while squeezing. Repeat depending how dirty your blender is. 6) let it dry overnight This was a quick and easy beauty hack and it worked great on my blender as you can tell from the picture. I recommend you try it out and let me know how it work for you. if your blender is really dirty you might need to repeat steps My blender wasn’t that dirty so it only took one time for me to clean. REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge This is a good dupe for the Beauty blender sponge. I use a brush for my foundation but use this to blend around my jaw line & for my concealer. I have repurchase this sponge several times. I highly recommend this product check it out it out at ulta for $9.99

Here's how I treat my coarse hair
Here's how I treat my coarse hair
I'm a big fan of hair dyes and perms, so my hair tends to get very dry and frizzy. Today I'd like to introduce two products that I think are outstanding solutions to the problem of dry hair and frizziness.   Kerastase-Chronologist Kerastase is a brand owned by France's Loreal. The product I recommend is Kerastase's high-end star line of black diamond caviar. The product contains rare caviar essences and is rich in vitamins A and E. It also smells good and smells like a men's perfume from Hermes. Its primary function is to gently clean hair and scalp while moisturizing dry and damaged hair.   Usage: 1. After shampoo, mix the hair mask and caviar essence in a 1:4 ratio in a bowl. 2. After mixing well, apply on the dry hair and massage with your fingers to make it more easily absorbed. If you have a heated shower cap, you can heat your hair for 10-15 minutes for even better results. If you don't want to heat your hair, you can leave the hair mask on for 30 minutes. 3. Rinse.   It is important to note that when mixing caviar essence, be sure to mash the granules of the essence. Otherwise, the effect will be affected.   This product is a high-end hair care product, so the price is very high. But it's worth it because the hair becomes very soft and shiny after use. Because the price is high, I usually do it once a month.   Moroccanoil Treatment Moroccanoil treatment is hair care oil. It comes in a brown glass bottle and comes with a press pump head, so it's easy to use. This item has 100ml, about two pumps each time is enough, one bottle can be used for several months, very cost-effective. It has no smell and is very safe to use. And the way it's used is to apply the product to the ends of your hair and rub your hands together to help it absorb. It has an oily texture, but instead of looking oily when your hair has been dry, it seems very smooth and fresh.

My new skincare routine
My new skincare routine
Let’s start with what I’ve been using the longest: CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin I LOVE this cleanser. I have acne prone skin and congested pores like crazy. I started using this a week ago and I’ve noticed a huge difference with my skin feeling way cleaner and it never feels tight after I wash it. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 For someone who has combination skin, this is a life saver. It hydrates my dry spots but doesn’t make my t-zone super oily! And it keeps me feeling hydrated all day. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I tried this because I’ve always used a traditional moisturizer and the thought of only using serums was weird to me. I will stick with it because it makes me feel like I’ve locked everything else in! A little goes a very long way! And my favorite face sunscreen.... alba BOTANICA - Hydration Sensation Water Gel SPF 18 for sunny south Florida and it doesn’t feel thick and gross. And even better, doesn’t clog my pores. Also works great under makeup. I have skipped a primer on some days and just let this be my base 🤷🏼‍♀️ Now for my newbies... The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane didn’t burn, loved the way my face felt after using it! We shall see in the long run. It’s not my first rodeo with Retinoids but this one is new The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I’ve used it twice so far, and the first time i felt a tiny bit of tingling but it was extremely short lived. It does have a sticky-ness to it so I suggest putting it under something else (obviously it would have to go under my Retinoid). I put it under my The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and it seemed okay but I didn’t put makeup on today. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I tried this baby last night for the first time! 10 minutes, just as directed. A bit of initial tingling. But after? My face felt as smooth as ever!!! I loved it! I followed it with my The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 andThe Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane (since I’m not new to retinoids). Face didn’t feel sensitive this morning. I have not tried the The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution since I didn’t want to mix it with the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution but I will probably end up using the peel on Monday’s and the toner on Wednesday’s and Fridays. I don’t want to strip my skin. Oh and some days I used a Thayer’s Witch Hazel Toner, just depends on how my face feels. But I haven’t felt the need to since I started using the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin Any thoughts?! 🥰
