Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Broad Spectrum
First of all, perioral dermatitis is a sterile “disease” so it will not contaminate your cosmetics or makeup products. For now about half an years, I live with this inflammation of the skin – which can be chronic. Once it’s triggered, it can come back. However, by adopting the right routines, it is possible to live with rather quietly. In times of crisis : This is the most difficult period to manage. It is possible to wear makeup with perioral dermatitis. However, it is important to stay in the dynamic of detox cosmetics and apply only powders to the face. If you use a liquid foundation, the skin will not be able to get out of the inflammation because it will absorb the moisturizing component of the foundation. Concealer is not recommended in times of crisis for the same reasons as the foundation. The face can be very red and swollen, the only way that can make this moment a little more livable is to slightly hide the redness with a powder type compact foundation or mineral powder. You can apply your powder with a brush or with a slightly damp Beauty Blender sponge. The softest way to apply the powder will be to lightly pat your face with your tool. You can apply the foundation powder all over your face, even under dark circles to unify your complexion. It is possible to combine a bronzer or a blush if you want to structure a little more your face. However, I advise you to keep your hand light. In rest period : When the skin is fine and it does not have inflammation, it is possible to wear makeup normally. As for skincare products, vigilance will still be put in the products used and their compositions. The advice I could give you is to avoid layering and too thick formulas that tend to suffocate the skin. About the brands, I have used several products and I can tell you those with which I did not have any problems in connection with perioral dermatitis. However, it is possible that your skin reacts differently from mine :

DesiHoetmerThank you so much! I recently figured out that this is what I’ve been struggling with for many many years not realizing it until very recently. I was not aware that foundations could make the inflammation worse! This is super helpful!

Need makeup feedback please!!
I’ve never been great at doing my makeup. I’m also terrible at taking selfies. I’ve been working on techniques for hooded eyes as well, and I put the eyeshadow above my crease, but you still can’t really see the eyeshadow I applied. Does my makeup look cakey as well? I would really appreciate some feedback. Thank you! The products I used: tarte - SEA Quench Hydrating Primer bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick Broad Spectrum SPF 25 beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink bareMinerals - BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer benefit - Goof Proof Brow Pencil bareMinerals - Prime Time Eyelid Primer tarte - Tartelette Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara tarte - Opening Act Lash Primer MAC - Mineralize Blush bareMinerals - Dew Mist Setting Spray I don’t have anything on my lips. I’d love to try something with some sheen, but no glossy, and in natural shades. I prefer toxin-free. Any recommendations?
bareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer Review
[PRODUCT REVIEW] Foundation bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Buttercream 03 (very light warm skin yellow undertones) What You Need to Know: Vegan Cruelty free Gluten Free Oil free Contains fragrance (less than 1%) SPF 30 My Personal Experience: I bought this tinted moisturizer when I was much tanner than I am right now thanks to quarantine haha. Unfortunately for me, it is just “meh.” Although it’s oil free, a lot of times it still feels too much for my skin (Combo/Oily). Not because it’s heavy, but because it’s too slippery and breaks up easily on my face. It has a natural radiant finish, but I usually have to set it with powder. When spread out, the color won’t be as intense at all. (I can still wear this shade now.) And it does oxides a bit throughout the day. I have the say the shade range isn’t great, or at least the undertones and their shade descriptions aren’t the most accurate. They have added new shades since I bought this, but I definitely suggest trying out the colors before purchasing. I do like that it provides a light coverage, perfect for some redness and pores. But I question the buildability of the coverage mainly because the texture is not that easy to work with. It feels like the product just sits on top of my face instead of being blended into my skin. When I apply it, it’s difficult to blend with fingers, and it’s easy to get strokes with a brush. With a sponge it’s a bit better but then, the coverage is even lighter. Though all three methods are manageable, and eventually I can get an even finish as I apply a tiny bit at a time and work in small areas, in my opinion for a tinted moisturizer, it shouldn’t take this much effort. Maybe this product will work better for people with normal or dry skin. But I did notice it emphasizes dry patches on skin when I tried this on my partner, who has dry cheeks. Final Tip: The usual amount we use for a tinted moisturizer or foundation won’t be enough SPF❗️❗️❗️Apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30) beforehand even if your tinted moisturizer or foundation has SPF in it!
My Go-To Pallet gives you a Kim K-worthy contour
Who doesn't enjoy convenience? We're human. We love convenience in all shapes and sizes. Why do you think delivery apps are skyrocketing in popularity? While I love a good meal delivered to my front door, I can also appreciate an all-in-one makeup pallet. My Go-To All-In-One Face Pallet: The Kevyn Aucoin Art of Sculpting + Defining pallet is my #1 choice for a natural everyday pallet that gets the job done fast. I find myself reaching for this pallet when I know I don't have much time to spend on my day's makeup. The pallet retails for $59. Is It Worth It? For me, the creme de la creme of face pallets is the 'The Contour Book Volume II' by Keyin Aucoin. As a longtime fan of his Sculpting Powder, which gives you a Kim K-worthy contour, this pallet comes with my beloved chiseling power and a cream version, highlighters, and four eyeshadows. Altogether, you get a total of eight pans. Naturally, the face products are larger than the eyeshadows. I love almost everything in this pallet. I'm personally not the biggest eyeshadow person, so I use the shadows as an inner corner highlight instead! Plus, the darker eyeshadow shade can double as a brow powder for me. It comes with a huge mirror, too, making great for travel or minor touch-ups. There's also a handy guide that teaches you how to sculpt your cheekbones out and use the eyeshadows to naturally shape and define the eyes. Tip: I love layering the Candlelight Cream and Candlelight Powder. The subtle shimmer in the powder really makes the cream highlight pop. Plus, it makes it last longer! Final Thoughts: I love this pallet, and I ultimately think it's worth it. If not for anything else, I continue to buy this pallet for the Sculpting Powder alone. It's seriously THE BEST contour powder I've ever used.

BB Cream.. Blotchy & Bad-Blending?
This product came in my July Ipsy Bag. This Illuminating BB Cream with SPF came with my July Ipsy Bag and is unfortunately my least favourite item in the bag. :( pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 It surprisingly gave me more coverage than I was expecting but did not blend well at all, using a primer beforehand & not using a primer. I love the fact it has the SPF 30, but maybe that’s the reason it isn’t blending? I wasn’t aware of the price of the cream (until I looked it up right now), and at $35, I will not be purchasing again. I probably wouldn’t buy it if it was cheaper either. My Maybelline Fit Me is still my staple foundation – smooth application and a light feeling with great coverage and price. MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation This product sample came in my $12 Ipsy Subscription, but will not be becoming a future staple in my collection. pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30

Wanna contour a round face? A concealer is enough!
My face does not typically belong to a round one in nature but it can be a round one, because snacks and desserts are necessities for me, and to a most degree, for most gals lol. After stuffing myself with feasts, chocolate and pouring several bottles of milk tea at the same time, my stomach will be swollen soon. However, if I have kept filling these stuff for a couple of days, the phenomenon of swell would shift to happen on my face. Unfortunately, that is the place I cannot cover with any clothes. It cannot be more awful if I have a date, wearing a big swollen face. How to save face in a short period of time? Let’s thanks to the contour and highlighting techniques. Once finishing the foundation routine, it’s going to conceal and highlight my face. What I use is NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealerr and I choose the shade of light 2 Vanilla (AUD 48). In addition to a large portion of powder in it, this concealer includes magnolia bark extract, grape seed extract and vitamin E. These botanicals can help relieve the redness and hydrate the skin as well. Usually I apply it to the area that I wanna highlight, such as a triangle part under my eyes. That part is enclosed by eyes, nose and the cheekbone. I also apply it on my chin to bring it forward. Besides, my forehead and the bridge of my nose still need to be salient. The area of the forehead does not mean my whole forehead part, and is more like to draw a shape of a bowler hat. The line closely above your eyebrow line should be the brim of the hat, and the middle section of my forehead should be the cone of the hat. Once the application is done, blending the creamy powder into the skin by only tapping, in case of their movements to other areas of my face.

My fav face palette, brings me the perfect look
This is my favourite full-face palette: Ambient Metallic Strobe Lighting Palette from Hourglass. I know how hourglass is famous for its highlighters but let me tell you, although this palette looks like containing three highlighters, this is not a simple highlighter! I bought this after reading tons of positive reviews online and it really doesn’t let me down. What does it have: Absolute strobe light Pure strobe light Lucent strobe light How to use them: This is not only a highlighter, as I said. And since I love the glow so much, I have explored multiple ways to corporate this palette into my makeup and this is amazing how this always looks good at almost every place on my face lol. Here’s a detailed guidance. I use the first powder as an all over powder. It can blot down shininess and never looks like you powdered your face. People always say that they can’t see the “product” on my face and I guess that’s why this palette has the name because it’s ambient! The powders are meant to give your skin a natural-glow-within type of look. I use the powder in the middle as a highlighter, especially good for the under-eye area. And since it is the most glowing one in this palette, I’ve also tried to use it as a shimmer to apply on the corner of the eye, which really compliments almost every eye look. And for the final powder, the darkest shade, I use it to accentuate my contour or bronzer. I would also use all the 3 to apply all over my face. My thoughts on this product: I know many brands have their own face palette. The reason I opted for this one is that I am so drawn into the nice subtle glow of these three powders. It’s really hard to describe: It’s not shimmery or metallic-y. I hope the pictures could let you have a sense of it. It is sold at $64 at Sephora. I know it’s little pricy and I do believe you can purchase a similar product for a lot less but, personally, it’s definitely a staple in my makeup collection and I don’t regret buying it at all!

Bronzer VS Blush | 🦋ABG makeup look🦋
To get things started, we have to keep the differences between bronzer and blush in mind: "Bronzer is basically blush, but blush is not bronzer." Blush should be used to add warmth to the cheeks, while bronzer is used specifically to make you look tan. In a nutshell, blush is used to add a flush of color to the cheeks, while bronzer is intended to make the skin look sun-kissed or tan.✨ As a result, blush tends to come in variations of pink (sometimes with peach or plum undertones), where bronzer is typically brown or gold in color. 🦋 How they applied Blush is made to be applied directly to the apples of the cheeks and cheekbones. Bronzer can be applied both to the cheekbones and brow, jawline, and other contours of the face and décolletage. 🦋 Mood and Occasion If you’re going for a natural look, bronzer can add a hint of color and definition. Bronzer is perfect for casual weekend events, as well as more made-up evening looks, particularly those that include contouring. Blush can add a touch of softer, flushed color and is also great for daywear, but use it sparingly—blushes are often very pigmented and can go on heavy if you're not careful. Whichever you choose, keep in mind that less is more, and be sure to keep the color (whether pink or bronze) within range of your natural skin tone. Now that we’ve gone over the difference between bronzer and blush, hopefully you won’t be staring at your makeup bag in confusion any longer about which to wear. So for today’s ABG makeup look, I applied bronzer to make my chin look more strong and the face look slimmer. 🦋 Product details: PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer Best-selling bronzers in the mass market! I’ve bought this product with $14.95, it comes in an adorable tropical-looking compact complete with palm trees and bright colors on it. As soon as you open the top, you can catch a whiff of the buttery goodness going on in there. It smells like Butter Cookies or close to that. The product pan is beautiful and is shaped like sea waves. 🦋 Color: Oohhh!!! The color!!! This bronzer has the perfect bronze-y gold shade with peach undertones for adding the correct amount of warmth and glow to the face. This is certainly not a contouring powder, but the color is best suited for adding some glow and warmth to the skin on a daily basis. 🦋 Texture: It feels very silky and buttery to the touch, like almost creamy! It also contains soft-focus pigments and ultra-refined pearl that gives a glow that looks so beautiful. This bronzer by no means contains chunky shimmer or glitter, has the correct amount of finely-milled shiny powder with a bronze-y glow. 🦋 Longevity: The bronzer does have considerable longevity and does stay on the face for about 6-7 hours which is incredible! I do set my face with a setting spray or a face mist and it does increase the longevity of this product. Anyway, ABG makeup look check!!

3 steps for a perfect base!
these are the three products I use if I want a super flawless face of make up. this is not what I use instead of skin care but rather, in addition to. I always start my make up by making sure I’m wearing SPF. what I love about these three steps is they’re a perfect starting point—you can either add products if you want to glam it up, or keep it like this for a simple, fresh face look. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer I like to start my base my concealing. a high coverage concealer like this one covers most of my imperfections, which in turn causes me to use less foundation than I would if I started with foundation first! I like to apply it under my eyes, around my nose, and a bit by my mouth, the areas where I have discoloration. L'ORÉAL - Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation this is my favorite foundation, it’s pretty good coverage but doesn’t look or feel cakey at all! I use 1 pump & usually just dot a few spots of this with my beauty blender. ILIA - Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment I love this pigment because it’s super natural looking and just a few specks add a beautiful effect to the skin. I use it on the tops of my cheekbones and along my nose to mimick where the sun would kiss my skin. I blend this in with my finger tips and rub any excess on my eye lids. that’s it! this super simple routine really helps me feel a little more comfortable in my skin, and looks ultra natural. #cheriepartner
