The One Product That Solved All Of My Skin Problems💯💯

My skin type is semi-combination and also prone to breakouts therefore finding a face oil that worked with my serums was a struggle in itself. The reason is that oils are oily, duh, and serums can either be either too watery or very creamy so basically, it was an eye-opening trial and error for me… until I stumbled upon Argan Oil. Argan Oil is a natural-based oil that I was introduced to by the brand Loelle Organics. This brand offers a range of products that include oils, cleansers, water-based facials mists as well as soaps and clays. Out of all of the oils they offer, I stay loyal to Argan as my face oil and here’s why. Argan Oil is high in Vitamin E which can act as a light version of sunscreen all the while smoothing and protecting from itching or irritation. Using this oil as a part of my daily skincare routine has allowed me to see the dry spots and oily spots on my face become evenly balanced and undetectable by critics. Another great benefit that I have seen is that if my skin is ever irritated from environmental pollutants, after I wash it with mild soap then apply about 2 pumps of the oil into my hand and massage it on the skin, within a couple of minutes, the irritation stops, and the redness of my skin comes to a halt. Magic. The way that I like to apply my face oil is before serums and moisturizers. It’s a method that I didn’t realize I had been doing wrong until I watched a few tutorials, sampled all my products in different orders and I finally learned. Here is my method. Wash my face with mild, oil balancing soap. I like to use black soap. Black soap has the ability to both remove impurities and leftover makeup that I thought the makeup wipes and the cleansing balm had removed. Second, pat dry the face leaving it a bit damp. I don’t dry my face completely with a cotton towel. Instead, I only pat dry my eye area so I have a damp base before I apply the oil. Next, dispense 2 pumps of argan oil and massage it onto the face and neck, concentrating on the drier areas then blend it all in. Lastly, apply the serum to the face and neck area by massaging it in as well and making sure that it actually penetrates into the skin before applying sunscreen. Granted argan oil has a natural sunscreen element to it but extra protection is always great. All done. You see the key to making sure the oil works with the serum is to make sure that your face is thoroughly cleansed and the oil has sunken into the skin. If you do it the opposite way meaning the serum before the oil then your face will be oily. It’s not really a good idea to do that because the serum will never blend into the oil leaving the oil to sit on the surface causing irritation and attraction to the sun. When it comes to recommending a great argan oil, I stick with oils that I find at either health food stores such as Whole Foods, however, I will always recommend Loelle Organics, simply because they were the first to introduce me to the oils and I’ve been using it for close to 6 years. As far as serums go, I recommend giving Ayele a try as well as Apothecare. Both have amazing serums that are both creamy or gel-based and actually treat according to your needs. Now don’t forget, always apply (argan) oil before your serums otherwise you will look sweaty and your pores will be clogged all dayLoelle - Argan Oil

facial oil for excess oil????
facial oil for excess oil????
HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin This is the Herbivore Lapis Facial Oil. this product claims to soothe skin, reduce excess oil and help calm breakouts. this oil is pretty thin, but it takes a while to absorb, so i use it at night. the scent is pretty intense but after a while you get used to it. overall, i liked this oil but i don’t think i would ever purchase the full size. it hasn’t broken me out, but i don’t think it really cleared my breakouts, but it did soothe the skin and reduce excess oiliness. i recommend trying this product first before you buy it though, but if it works for you, it’s pretty worth it.

Hello, Bluetiful
Hello, Bluetiful
Just a no frills good night time oil. Good for acne prone skin and redness reducing, also has a beatific natural smell to it. I also can’t get over the blue color. And well under $15 you can’t beat it. The oil is so light I’d recommend it for any skin type at night!

This pretty blue oil made by Herbivore is supposed to balance oily acne-prone skin. I was hoping it’d be my holy grail because my skin doesn’t react very well to oils. This oil is lightweight and made by a reputable brand...but is nothing special. I was a little let down by this right away because of its odd smell. I really can’t describe it because it’s nothing like I’ve ever smelled before but it lingers and gives me headaches. Lapis oil didn’t break me out luckily but I also saw no change in my greasy skin. I do not think this oil was effective on my skin unfortunately and is not worth the price. It may work well on some people and I don’t think it’d hurt to try this oil but it’s just not a very good product.

BEST FACIAL OIL. EVER
BEST FACIAL OIL. EVER
HOLY GRAIL STATUS. If you have redness, irritation, acne or all of the above you need this oil in your life. They have a mini size available which is a perfect size to test out this product. I use 3 drops almost every night. If my skin is quite irritated from overuse of acids I will apply this under my moisturizer to really help the healing process. Otherwise I apply over my night cream to seal it all in.

This was one of the first indie beauty and skincare brands that I’ve tried, and I’m obsessed. I love the Lapis Oil, which doesn’t make me breakout and helps to soften and soothe my red inflamed skin due to an autoimmune disease. Every product they make is wonderful. I hope to try some of their newer products for redness and texture soon.

HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy F
HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin is in my top three oils! Granted... I only have this mini, but it lasts for so long! I haven’t been able to splurge on a full size ($72) but I don’t have to reach for it very often, and with the oxidation of herbivore products... better safe than sorry! It’s supposed to help with redness and irritation, and I usually use it at night before bed when my skin is acting up. It helps suppress my acne inflammation as well. I’ve used this in the day time, and it’s sinks in easily + plays well with other products. It’s very lightweight (something that’s great for the daytime or my oily skin) and smells like a dream. I’ll admit that I didn’t love it at first but now I want to reach for it all the time. I have a dupe in this — the Acure Blue Tansy Oil! It’s not blue nor does it smell like a dream, but its budget friendly and does about the same amount of recon. I would rate this a 4/5, minus one because of the price! I think the dupe I mentioned is close enough to Lapis that you’ll never miss it. HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin
