4 steps structured-brow tutorial
As a makeup beginner like me before several years , you may feel that creating perfect brows is rather a difficult thing, which takes you long time but still have high risk of failure. This might be because you did not have a right way to fix them. Now, with my many years of experience, let me teach you to safely, perfectly have a pair of structured brows, only takes you 4 steps! Before you start, use eyebrow brush to brush your browhair, working toward the direction of your natural hair grow. Step1 Mark your eyebrow from the start, highest point and the end of your brow. Remember, use a pair of eyebrow brush to identify. Measure from the outer portion of the nose across that outer corner of the eye to locate the end point. This can actually do a lot for a face the longer the area is from the arch to the end. It really starts to slim down the face and make it a bit more of an oval shape. Step2 And then, connect these points and fill them with brow gel or brow powder. Step3 So the key of making your brow natural, is all about blending， so once you really fill in your brow, blending your brow in a way that looks really really natural. Blending from the start to the arch, all the way to the end. Blending, generally a little bit lighter toward the line, center is kind of dense. Blending more at the end where the hair tends to be a bit fair or bit sparse. Step4 Use Benefit highbrow. Just below that brow almost like an instant eye lift. Take it and slow start to blend away. And then there you have a perfect structure eyebrow. Practice several times, everybody can be the master of creating perfect eyebrows! Dying My Brows at Home
Bare with me! I figured I’d TRY to make a video tutorial on brow tinting. I got a box of Godefroy TintKit in the color Medium Brown from my local Armstrong McCall, but you can buy a box on Amazon, as well. It’s pretty simple. 1) outline your brows in Vaseline to protect the skin from staining 2) take one capsule of the dye and the developer that comes in your kit and mix them roughly half and half 3) apply generously without getting too messy 4) let it sit for about 5 minutes. (If you’re worried about it going too dark, half the time) 5) makeup cleanser or face wash will take off the excess dye I’m not too worried about it being a little dark, because it’ll fade off my skin fairly quickly. I hope this was helpful! If there’s anything that you guys would like to see, please let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to make it happen!! (I’LL DO BETTER NEXT TIME I PROMISE!!!)
Brow Tinting at Home!
One of my favorite diy beauty hacks that I started doing while social distancing is diy brow tinting! It's super easy and quick, and makes the rest of my makeup routine so quick!! I use the #Just For Men - Mustache and Beard[products]#[FiveStars] it works really well and is made for the face! This box cost under $10 and has lasted me for over 6 months. I tint my brows once every two weeks. Here's a quick tutorial: 1. Start with clean brows! There should be nothing on them - no makeup, no skincare. 2. Mix equal parts of the dye with developer. You only need a drop of each! Mix this until combined. 3. Apply using a slanted eyebrow brush to the last 3/4 of the brow. 4. After about a minute apply to the front part of the brow. 5. Leave the solution on for 5 minutes! 6. Remove with a cotton pad, then soap and water! 7. Style as usual! That's it, now you have tinted brows that just need brow gel to set! Bonus Tips: you can apply some kind of barrier outside the lines of the brows the stay neat - coconut oil or Vaseline work well for this! the front of your brows should line up with your inner nostril and the tail of the brow should line up with the end of your nostril - check out a brow mapping chart for a better idea! brows are sisters, not twins! Don't worry if they aren't absolutely perfect! wherever you get the dye solution will be dyed! Be careful! It will dye the skin, this is what gives them a freshly tinted look! It doesn't last for more than a few days on the skin. #CheriePartner
How I do my eyebrows✨ #Cheriepartner
It took me a while but I finally got the hang of how to fill in my brows without making it look too extra. I like to lightly contour it with the pomade then goin in with the pencil and finishing up with the clear gel! First step: I use the pencil brush and brush them down Second step: I contour the brow with the pomade Third step: I lightly fill in the brows with the pencil Third: I brush the brows (as shown in the video) Fourth and final: I finish up with a clear brow gel to hold it. It will last you the whole day if you finish up with a clear brow gel! I will forever purchase these products! They’re fantastic! Specially the brow wiz from Anastasia BH! Super nice and thin! From No Brows to Wow Brows
I was a victim of early 2000’s eyebrows. I would basically tweeze eyebrows off and leave my face with two of tiniest eyebrows you’ve ever seen. Luckily, the skinny eyebrow trend faded and I was able to grow back my brows. Once I finally grew all my poor little eyebrow hairs back, I had to figure out what eyebrow shape and fullness would look good on me. Since I have a longer, oval shaped face there was no need for a super high arch which would elongate my face and make me look too severe. I also felt like I needed a fuller brow that would stand out. And maybe most importantly I needed the patience to let my brows grow for a couple of months before having them done (it’s so worth it!). I don’t do my brows at home anymore because I clearly cannot be trusted with a pair of tweezers. This is what I ask for when I go get my brows threaded: 1. I asked for them to be cleaned up and then shaped into a soft arch (You can show inspiration photos as long as you’re being realistic with what can be achieved with your brows) 2. I like them to trim the tops of my brows just a little bit 3. I always have my brows tinted to make them look even fuller (brow tinting is honestly life changing and everyone can benefit from this easy service!) Do not tweeze in between your appointments this will also keep your brows full! Leave them alone!
Brow Tinting 101
When I feel like my brows are a bit light and I want to deepen them without having to fill them in each time — I love reaching for Refectocil - Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint I use shade 3 and put a pea size amount in the glass mixer it comes with Then add 2-3 drops or developer. Mix it around and apply it with an angled brow brush. It’s super easy to do, and you can clean up any messes with a cotton bud if needed. I leave it on each brow for 10 minutes (which is the max time recommended)! As you can see, it darkens them and really works well at almost shading in sparse areas. I’m a big fan! Have you tried brow tinting with this product?
