How I did my makeup 10 yes AGO!

If you’ve been following me, I’ve done two posts on clean skincare and ingredients to avoid. I started looking at my current skincare line-up to see if the “dirty dozen” chemicals were in my products. Surprise, almost every product had something. With an endless lockdown and having a baby in February I went months without wearing any make-up. It was an easy excuse. Im exhausted and Im not going anywhere, why bother 🤷🏻‍♀️ What I’ve learned is that taking care of my skin and finding a couple extra minutes to myself in the morning to put on some make-up has become my daily self-care. It’s about ME and makes me feel better. Here’s my quick 5 Minute 5 Product morning make-up routine: To start, nothing looks better than glowing skin. Here are a couple products I use as part of my skincare routine but go a long way to making my skin look better are: CLINIQUE - CLINIQUE Exfoliating Scrub A gentle daily scrub cream that polishes away dead skin cells for a smooth face SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes Glycolic Acid Treatment Skip a primer and use this treatment! The claim is that it gives you smoother, brighter skin in 3 minutes and let me tell you it’s true!! SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil I love this face oil in the morning. I find it instantly brightens my face and gives me a sun kissed look. I use right before my bb cream. And I love the citrus smell as a little extra to perk me up. My Make-Up Routine: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer 🙋🏻‍♀️Tired mom over here. I need the extra help to cover up my dark circles. It’s lighter coverage than I would want but blends great and feels very light smashbox - Camera Ready BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35 My multitasker, spf, moisturizer, sheer coverage Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek A little on my cheeks and a little on my lips for a pop of colour and add a little life to my face SEPHORA COLLECTION - SEPHORA COLLECTION Brow Builder I love that this is super easy to use. Fills in my natural brows for a more finished look. CLINIQUE - High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara Last step a little mascara. I’ve received these in bonus bags for years. It’s a great everyday mascara. And you are done!

I received Estate’s Estate X Bailey Sarian Venic Fling Eyeshadow Palette as part of my latest Ipsy Glam Bag Plus. It’s really nice! I put this quick look together with it this morning. I found that the shadows feel high quality. They don’t create much kickback and they’re easy to use and blend. The color payoff is also good. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 out of 5 stars is that I just don’t love the colors. They’re just kind of meh to me. For this look I used “Ocean Ave” on my lids, “Puppy Love” in my creases and outer lids and “Venice Fling” in the outer corners. Have you tried this palette? All about those BROWS! Soooo many options and everyone has their personal favorite. Today I am going to share with you my loves and my less loved brow products! First up! ✨REVOLUTION - Brow Pomade This one I have had for a looooong time. It used to be my go to brow product and here is why. -Creamy application, blends well, definition is super BOLD, and once set it stays put quite well. My only issue with this product is that it is so bold, and it can really cause your brows to get away from you and be super dark. Next! ✨WANDER BEAUTY - Frame Your Face Precise Brow Gel I absolutely LOVE Wander beauty I have yet to try a product of theirs I did not love. This brow gel, although it is clear, gives a natural illusion of filling your brows. It contains good nourishing ingredients. It made my brows so soft and promotes growth!! ✨item - Brow Chow This one is just ok for me. The tapered pencil is creamy but too thick and the small paddle brush is good for blending but not diffusing product. Awesome staying power though. Next! ✨#COMPLEX CULTURE - Full Out Brow gel[products]#[ThreeStars] Now I love me some complexculture beauty products buuuut I’m not sure how I feel about this brow gel. For me its too much and the thick mascara like spoolie grabs a lot of product. Which clumps up and doesn’t disperse well before it sets. Maybe it’s just me and I’m doing it wrong.....jury still out on this one folks! 😂 LAST!!! ✨ billion dollar brows - Brow Powder billion dollar brows - The Microblade Effect: Brow Pen These get to go together because I think they are the perfect pair! Billion Dollar Brows is by far my favorite! I have been using the powder for about a year now and probably won’t deviate and the Microblade pen perfectly adds delicate little hairs where needed. Went and got my hair cut and curled today. Feeling in a pretty mood so I decided to use my new #Laura Sanchez - MOODS Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars] ! I am not wearing any lipstick and not very much blush because I will be wearing a mask today...sooo I skipped it. Plus I have hormonal skin at this time and makeup doesn’t help. But back to today’s simple eyes mainly look! I did use some e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer to hide my darkness. But that’s it. Today I embrace my spots!!! 🤗 I used billion dollar brows - Brow Powder and WANDER BEAUTY - Frame Your Face Precise Brow Gel The colors used on the #Laura Sanchez - MOODS Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars] were as follows: Light tan as base color Dark Pink in crease and outer corner Shimmer Pink on inner corner and lid White highlighter under brows and cheeks I love this palette, these shadows are very nice. They are not as bold as they are in the palette but they are quite stunning. And they blend so well! The color is buildable so you can go as delicate or saturated as you like. The highlighters are so great!!! I love the white one it’s like holographic ! 😍 The little brush it comes with it pretty good at blending out the shadows even with not being a very dense brush. MAYBELLINE - Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner for wings. Araceli - Ojos Perfectos Gel Pencil Eyeliner in chocolate on lower water line. benefit - BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara which is my go to when not wearing falsies. MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush just a little, barely noticeable 😂! Since we are visiting the pumpkin patch today and half my face will be covered.... it was just all about the eyes!! Also during hormonal times I try to avoid foundation, contour, and blush because my skin likes to fight back!😳 I am not usually a punk eyeshadow person but I like this looks. It’s soft and shimmery. This is just the first time I have used this palette and I can’t wait to see what other “moods” I can create! 😜

#ESTATE COSMETICS - Bailey Sarian VENICE FLING Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars] $30 Love ❤️ love ❤️ love ❤️ this palette!!!!! I received this in my IPSY glam bag plus subscription and today I decided to begin to play with the palette!!!!! I loved all the colors it was so hard to pick a scheme. In today’s look I used every color except the purple and black ones 😂 not that I didn’t love them but that was the obvious first choice. The pigments are beautiful they swatch well, and blend beautifully!!!! The shimmer shades are to die for! BTW I also totally tried the viral foundation hack and it really does work!!! It’s a weird process but they are not lying! We will see how my pores react! 🤗 ⚠️👄 I even used it on my lips!!!!! I lined my lips with #AVON - Glimmersticks lip liner- Chocolate[products]#[FiveStars] Then with a small lip brush I applied the puppy love shade. So I have been on the hunt for the perfect felt tip liquid eyeliner. I longed to do my winged look with a liner that could ACTUALLY go on top of eyeshadow. I always had the problem of them drying out mid process or them being to flat of a black that it needed many passes to look on point! Sorry for all the pics but I wanted to be thorough! Everything is in order 1-2-3 style starting with.....NYX - Super Skinny Eye Marker Valued at $9.50....you get what you pay for. The tip is very tiny which is fine for fine lines but not filling in. Also it’s a flatter sheen than what I like and takes many passes which I don’t like. You can see in the last picture how sparse it is on line 1. And I dried out on top of eyeshadow making it worthless unless I wanted to go without eyeshadow.... Araceli - Ojos Perfectos Liquid Eyeliner Valued at 40$. This is gold and by far my winner! Pricey yes, but worth it. The felt tip is nice and long. The liquid comes out nicely and boldly. The tip is very fine at the end which makes for great lines! It does not stand up against the one watery eye problem but it is still my go to specially on top of eyeshadow. This one does not dry up during application. I found a second pass is only needed to get missed spots on filling. This one also fills nicely. You can see it in line 2. eyeko - Skinny Liquid Vegan Eyeliner Value $22. Gave this one only one star because it’s pricey for what it is. It’s a chunky tiny little felt tip and honestly it’s sketchy liquid. The lines do not smoothly go on. Takes many takes a few passes and runs dry quickly. It’s just not worth 22$. Again unless you are not wearing eyeshadow but maybe even then. This is line 3. Obviously at the end of it all the Araceli is my Fav!!!!! Hands down! I used it in my last makeup look post with the reds and yellows.
