Hair wash time 🚿 We’re going to get into the #briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask today. Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask ✖️ My hair type: thin straight/wavy hair but a lot of it. My hair is lightened (mainly in the front) so it is dry on my face frame but pretty healthy on the general back side of my head. ✖️ Mask is “good for all hair types” and is a weekly treatment to restore essential hydration & natural vibrancy to dry, brittle, over-processed and “otherwise lackluster locks.” Omg me, I’m actually lol’ing cause that’s the description and why is lackluster so funny 😂 It’s, NOVA complex formulation with transformative nutrients ranging from B vitamins to rosehip oil, argan oil, collagen and silk to transform damaged hair into shiny, healthy, lustrous looking hair. Ok yes, give it to me... ✖️ My thoughts: I truly didn’t notice anything until I styled my hair. So in the shower, it had me skip conditioner and straight to the mask. Which lacked that smooth untangly feeling so I was already like.... k, 🗑. I was mad because I really wanted to give this a chance so I skipped the leave-in to really see what it was about. Keep reading, I promise I’m not angry.... ✖️ I didn’t really style my hair during this week so I was bitter. Still was thinking, meh. This mask didn’t do anything. SO, my wash day came again. I gave it another shot, still had that same reaction of “lackluster” conditioning feeling. Then I went on with my shower & let it dry! My hair felt so smooth as it dried and I felt that moisture it so claims. I just felt it. So, after it dried, I styled it. The feeling of my hair and the way it bounced and looked alive in the front was everything with NO product/volume sprays. I usually use a bit to achieve that healthy bounce and lusciousness 👏🏼 ✖️ My whole rant was to basically say... I know better than to judge a product after 1 use.... but totally did 😂 & also, I need to do deep conditioning masks more but also be careful because when I say the shower floor was so slippery after rinsing out.... I mean it.

STUPID LOVE 💗 PALETTE
HAUS LABORATORIES - By Lady Gaga: Stupid Love Eyeshadow Palette Have any of you tried this palette? I’m a HUGE Gaga Day 1 fan, so I’m naturally biased. BUT.... I have a love/hate relationship with it. Some days it works really well and others are very patchy. I can’t even tell you what it is because I use the same eye base every single time. It’s either a my trusty paint pot or same concealer. When the shadow sticks, it’s amazing! Some days aren’t as great....

Simple nail art is my fav 🤩
I find myself looking at nailspo most of the time but I can’t help it 🥰 A fresh set is such a rejuvenating experience. Atleast for me 🤣 What’s your favorite type of shape and style?
Everyday glow but make is fashun ✨
A NEW FAV 🏷 DIOR - BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette Loving this highlight palette lately! I wouldn’t say it’s ⚡️BLINDING⚡️ but for a daily product, it’s great! It doesn’t look powdery on me and looks like a glow from within skin. My favorite thing to do with highlights is to spray it with setting spray and push in with my beauty sponge to really melt into my skin!

Rare beauty review ✨
Hi Cherie! Welcome to my 1st review ✨ Shout out to @honeybrifor sharing this app with me!! SO, Rare Beauty.... I got these products THE day it launched and immediately filmed this video. It’s been a good few weeks since then & these are my thoughts.... Foundation: Off the bat..... LOVE IT 👏 Buildable coverage, very light and comfortable. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation Concealer: Just like the foundation, buildable and very comfortable! Though I like it, it’s not my first pick when I’m looking for coverage. However, I do find myself reaching for it when I want a light coverage/natural day. Kudos for not creasing on me either! Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer Blush: YES. I’m a blush ✨freak✨. Very pigmented but that doesn’t scare me 😉 I will say (along with the liquid highlight) that it got VERY patchy over powders. Like, BAD. To the point where I had to take off my makeup & start over. For reference, I have my liquid favs that layer easily and great after I have set my face but that was not the case for these. Aside from that nightmare, once you use this correctly.... BEAUTY 👏 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Highlight: Beware of my mistake stated above but love this for an everyday dew. Have been using it a lot but if I want something more blinding, I look elsewhere. Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Brow Pencil: EEEEKK. Pencil is 🗑. The Gel side is great though! I would def be open to buying the product if it was just the gel. The pencil is WAAAY too thick and pigmented for my liking when it comes to brows. Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel Primer + Setting Spray: The primer feels very nice and is illuminating for sure! Under makeup, it’s a nice glow from within but if you sometimes like to use an illuminating primer on no foundation days (I do), it’s a bit TOO much. Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer The setting spray has quickly become my fav!! I can’t say it helps prolong makeup but I LOVE a refreshing spray even when I’m all natural. It smells like a spa and melts makeup into my skin Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist Lip: LIP SOUFFLE. YOU NEED IT. I LOVE IT. Long lasting and VERY comfortable. Rare Beauty - Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream Brushes: Foundation brush is very nice and applied creams like a dream. Though I like the Rare Beauty Foundation, I actually like the brush for foundations that are a bit thicker!Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Foundation Brush Same goes for the concealer brush, I prefer it with other products! The concealer is a bit too watery and hard to control with the brush, so I prefer my sponge. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Concealer Brush What are your thoughts on Rare Beauty?

Do You Use This Nail Care Essential?! 💅🏽
So you want long and strong nails, but aren't taking care of your cuticles?! Just like healthy hair starts at the scalp, healthy nails start at the cuticle! Hydrated and happy cuticles don't just make your manicure look great, but also helps your nails get all the oils and nutrients that they need to be strong. The PEACĆI - PEACĆI Cuticle Oil is my favorite because first it smells like peaches! It's so yummy and is the perfect way to finish off my at home gel manicure. The Cuticle Oil is full of proteins, minerals, and Vitamins A, B, D and E. All these nutrients are easily absorbed by your cuticles and provide intense hydration and strengthen the nail plate. This is especially important if you have brittle nails that easily split! The oil sinks into the cuticles quickly and doesn't leave behind an oily mess. It retails for $12.50 and comes in a nail polish bottle making it super easy to apply! It's an absolute must in my nail care routine and definitely is a crucial step in growing out my nails super long and strong! I don't deal with broken nails ever and also don't have any hang nails since incorporating a cuticle oil in! #CheriePartner

A mask to get out all the gunk
As someone who suffers with breakouts, I have tried a lottttttt of clay masks. But, I’ve never found one that really got deep into helped my pores without causing some uncomfortable tightness or irritation. That’s what led me to Peach & Lily’s Pore Perfecting Clay Mask, which is formulated with the good stuff so your skin isn’t stripped a afterwards. Instead, it makes your skin sooooooooooo smooth. It’s one of my favorites! I like to use it once a week to let my skin reset after a week filled of makeup, sweat, pollution and other not-so-fun stuff. PEACH & LILY - Pore Proof Perfecting Clay Mask

BATTLE OF THE CREAM BLUSH. $20 vs $13
Powder blush who? Cream blush is the new “black.” ;) Cream blush has become really popular lately and there is so many to chose from. Let’s compare two compact cream blushes. TOWER 28 - BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm This is a “balm” that you can use pretty much anywhere. A cream blush does the same, it’s just a matter of name of the product. Shade shown is Happy Hour. made with Green Tea extract for calming the skin Aloe Vera extract hydrated and soothes the skin silicone free. Completely plant based vegan. DEWY. Gives a luminous glow. buildable pigment. can be applied with fingers, sponge, brush. (I prefer brush) little goes a long way. very creamy almost melted like texture. LAST ALL DAY. (This was surprising to me, but it does last all day) cute packaging, VERY HARD TO OPEN. I’ve messed up my blush with my finger nail from trying to open. 3 shades $20 - worth the price. Sold on their website and Sephora. HONEST - Crème Cheek Blush This is a traditional type of cream blush. It’s very lightweight compared to tower28. Shade shown is Plum Drop. made with raspberry, blackberry, and grapefruit extract. buildable pigment. Starts off very sheer, but can easily be built up. lightweight no parabens, talc, paraffins, petroleum, mineral oil, or synthetic fragrance. has more of a waxy feeling. dewy finish, but much more natural and matte compared to tower28. compact comes with mirror 4+ shades $13 and sold at target, Walgreens, urban outfitters, ulta and more. Very much worth it! So which one is better? If I had to choose, I’d pick honest beauty. It’s more affordable, packaging is easier to open and has a mirror. There is more color options and it’s simply just a touch bit more comfy to wear, a little less shiny. I’ll still keep buying tower28, but honest beauty takes the win for this one when it comes to more bang for your buck!

Skincare Ingredients to mix and not to mix!!
RETINOL: It's one of the most revered skincare ingredients that dermatologists love to recommend. Also known as vitamin A, what makes retinol so great is that it promotes skin cell turnover, which can help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture, dark spots, and acne. The only catch? Retinol can be extremely irritating. Do Mix: Retinol with moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and ceramides as well as SPF. - Make sure to moisturize; humectant ingredients like hyaluronic acid can draw and hold water molecules to the surface layers of your skin, while oil-based emollient ingredients help seal in moisture." It's also important to keep in mind that retinol can make you more sensitive to the sun. Don't Mix: Retinol with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids. -AHA and BHA acids are exfoliating, which can dry out skin and cause further irritation if your skincare routine already includes retinol. As for benzoyl peroxide and retinol, they cancel each other out. It is not recommended to use benzoyl peroxide and retinoids together as they can literally cancel each other out rendering them less effective. Finally, because vitamin C protects skin from environmental aggressors and retinol repairs and rebuilds skin, they're best used at opposite times of the day. VITAMIN C Vitamin C protects the skin from oxidative free radical damage and works best in the morning," says Dr. Marchbein. This ingredient also brightens the skin and can even lighten dark spots. Do Mix: Vitamin C with antioxidants and SPF. - When vitamin C is used with other antioxidants like vitamin E, it can boost results and efficiency. The same goes for wearing vitamin C under sunscreen. "Vitamin C serums should always be layered under sunscreen because they compliment one another and will protect skin against UV damage," explains Dr. Marchbein. Don't Mix: Vitamin C with retinol. - In contrast to vitamin C, retinol and retinoids build collagen and help repair the skin, so they're best used overnight. Since vitamin C thrives in the daytime, it's best to keep these ingredients separate from each other because they have such different functions. AHA/BHA ACIDS Salicylic, glycolic, and lactic acids are all effective exfoliants that can improve skin texture, tone, and in the case of SA, treat acne. That being said, all three of these acids can dehydrate and irritate skin. The bottom line: When using products with AHA or BHA acids, follow up with a hydrating product. Do Mix: AHA/BHA acids with moisturizing ingredients and SPF. Moisturizing after applying AHA and BHA is extremely important so as to limit irritation. Look for ceramides, petrolatum, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin to hydrate and soothe skin," says Dr. Marchbein. Using a product that combines multiple low-level AHA and BHA acids can be an extremely effective way to exfoliate and unclog pores. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.instyle.com/beauty/mixing-skincare-ingredients%3famp=true

My favorite cleansing balm in action
I love Banila Co clean it zero for one main reason that is, it emulsifies really well and rinses everything off before moving to second cleanser. Also, it doesn't leave any residue behind, like a greasy film or it doesn't enter in eyes which in some cases gives a blurry vision moment. The second reason is it's very affordable, this large tub is for 23$ which is a pretty good deal. This cleanser is lightweight, mushy texture which glides on face without you having to tug skin. The ingredients list is pretty decent,. doesn't contain alcohol, mineral oil (which for some people is a no) It has some botanical extracts, aloe vera and essential oils (which I avoid in other treatments but I don't mind in a wash off treatment) How I judge a certain product or formulation is never solely based on the ingredients, I check on formulation, texture, first experience. This all eventually determines how much you're going to enjoy using that product and how often you'll reach for it. This was the only balm I loved and didn't irritate my acne prone skin. Also the whole emusifying experience gave me a notion that it's cleaning everything off really well. BANILA CO - Clean It Zero 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm
