I look at my first post and I’m just like WOW! My skin has gone a long way especially with my dark spots. Smaller Looking Pores!! 😱😱🤩🤩
Is this the real life, is this just fantasy 🎶 Cue Freddie Mercury because my pores haven’t looked this good in soooo long!!! 😍😍😍 The first picture is my skin journey log from today and the second is the from the start of my skin care journey last June. This is the first time since my first log that my pores have been in the green!! It’s incredible!! (If you want to know the products I use, check out my last two posts.) Yes, I know, my acne isn’t the best right now. That’s because my chin is in the process of purging. I’m using a lot of new products and ingredients and my skin needs a little time to adjust. I usually get pimples on my chin so this is a pretty normal behavior for my skin but hopefully within the next few day, the amount on my chin will decrease (if I would just stop picking!) ❌ Other products that I have been trying out lately are The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionand PETER THOMAS ROTH - Masking Minis 5-Piece Mask Kit which I will do more posts on later as I use them more. I’ve only used each of the masking minis once along with the peeling solution once, but so far I’m really liking the black mask and the pumpkin mask! Follow me for more posts about my journey and comment below anything you want to see me post about! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 What helps you when your skin is purging? 🤔 Looking for tips and tricks! Thanks, lovely people!! 💖💖
Glass Skin > Ordinary Peeling Solution
Okay so a few weeks ago I made a post on how I changed my mind on The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Originally I was ready to bring it right back after trying for weeks but apparently I was keeping it on for too long and it was just making my skin worse. For the longest time, I was thinking that my skin has been so desensitized by products that I need to wear products for double the time they suggested (with hydrating products this sometimes works) but DEFINITELY not for this one. I started wearing it for 8-9 minutes rather than 10-15 and definitely seeing more improvements so I gave it a good review, but now that PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum has come into my life, I may have once again changed my mind. This is a serum that claims to smooth your skin and even tone using peach extract, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and peptides. Below I have provided Ulta’s notes on it! RECOMMENDED FOR: • Dullness and uneven skin tone • Rough skin texture • Wrinkles, fine lines, sagging • Dehydrated skin • Redness, inflammation WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: • Peach Extract: full of vitamins, minerals, and essential acids to help keep skin resilient • Niacinamide: helps quell inflammation, brighten and provide antioxidative benefits • Asian Mountain Yam Extract: helps to reduce flakiness • Madecassoide: helps curb inflammation and stimulate collagen production • Hyaluronic Acid Complex: blend of short-chain, medium-chain and long-chain hyaluronic acid molecules that moisturizes every layer of skin, leaving it hydrated, plumped and radiant • Peptide Complex: proprietary blend of peptides that signals collagen production, helping fill fine lines and deeply-etched wrinkles, while firming skin for a smoother, glassier appearance Verdict: After using this serum ONE TIME I noticed a DRASTIC change in my skin that I was expecting from The Ordinary Peeling Solution and didn’t get after using for almost 6 months. Slowly it started to show results, but nothing even CLOSE to Peach and Lily. With Peach and Lily, not only do I see a total lack of acne and scarring that I had before, but the redness that normally shows in my skin is almost nonexistent and my face is finally the same shade as my neck. This is definitely one of my top 5 products I’ve ever used. How I Use: Morning: Wash my face with THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser Top with serum and a moisturizer with sunscreenCeraVe - Hydrating Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 50 Night: Wash my face with either the tea tree cleanser or bliss - Micro Magic depending on how long I wore my Covid mask that day (Micro Magic seems to help with maskne) Saturate a cotton pad with Fourth Ray - Waterfall Gentle Toner and rub it all over, let it dry and top with CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator

The Process !! Everyone !!! The Process !!
Hey everyone !! Since you’ve guys last heard from me , I had a completely different skin care routine.. I just came to tell you guys how much I love THE ORDINARY!!! Thanks to the ordinary , I’m feeling better than ever & so good with my healthy , glowing skin. It’s only up from here!!!!! My new skin care routine is below : I start out using my Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser mixing it with YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I then pay my face dry with a PAPER TOWEL. I stopped using clean cloths like rags or towels... they seem to work better. I after go in with my The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% After using, The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% ThenThe Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA I then go in with my Tretinoin 0.025% cream , mixing it with my The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane After this using my Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream mixing this with The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil In the morning , I mix in my sunscreen with the Rose hip oil & my moisturizing cream , because my sunscreen which is CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide gives off a very white cast. At night I just moisturize with the listed above products . At night I also use my AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay AFTER cleansing my face . Then I go in with my serums & retinols. The Ordinary really has become such a life changer . Finally , Making me feel comfortable in my own skin. I hope this helps anyone who is going through acne. You’re not alone. Don’t let your acne define you! You’re beautiful!! Thank you everyone💓 I hope you guys keep helping me & stay by my side during my journey!!! Have a blessed day!!! Much love!
Perfect Moisturizer & SPF in one!
I was very pleased with this sample from Murad. I don’t usually have high hopes when it comes to an SPF and moisturizer in one. But this left my face perfectly moisturized and left no tacky, thick residue that an SPF can sometimes do. Although it is safe to use on all skin types I would say it’s probably more geared for normal to dry skin. It’s very thin and absorbs easily. A nice creamy formula. I only took one ⭐️ away for its small amount of added fragrance, not detectable by the nose. Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ also worked great under my makeup. I almost felt like I was applying a primer as it absorbed so well. My makeup did not pill or run. I would definitely pick this one up for me as an indoor SPF. I choose to wear SPF indoors as well and this would be a great option to cover both my moisturizer and SPF needs. There are sometimes I feel I need a bit heavier of a moisturizer when working with my makeup, so it wouldn’t work for those times. Have you tried this one out. It is a little more expensive at $65 for 1.7 oz but it’s still going on my wishlist! 🍊 Much ❤️ skinnies 🍒
A routine that FINALLY works for me!
Since the beginning of quarantine, I’ve gotten WAY into skincare, maybe a little too much... I’ve definitely experienced ups and downs with my routine, low bank balances, and the overall stress of trying to balance the millions of options and recommendations given for serums, cleansers, toners, ETC. Through many trial and errors, I think I finally found my true routine, thanks to Sokoglam, a K-Beauty skincare company. They offer a free “skin concierge” session in real time with a skincare specialist, where you can ask about your skin concerns and receive great recommendations for products, and overall a personalized skincare routine that fits YOU! That all sounds cheesy and sponsored but I promise it’s not😂 That’s just how impressed I am with the company! For so long I just watched youtubers suggest products to me and I scrolled endlessly on Cherie looking for products that I thought would suit me. A biiiig brand I saw/and was recommended CONSTANTY was The Ordinary serums... Long story short, tried it, hated it. Plain and simple. The few serums I used from them caused nothing but turmoil for my skin that I’m still trying to fix including breakouts, CYSTIC acne, chemical burns, etc.. I am pretty sure there was just something my sensitive skin was allergic to in order for all of that to have happened, but still, simply just not for me. To be fair, if it weren’t for those products, I would have never gone out of my way to seek a new routine, sooooo? Thanks I guess lol. Anyways, here is my road to recovery! I have been documenting my skin’s journey and I can already see such dramatic effects in texture, hydration, reduction of oiliness AND the beginnings of healing for my more intense acne that left scars! I won’t go into detail on each product quiet yet, as it is still a new routine taking its course, however, I think the biggest component to the already huge changes has to definitely be the Hanskin - Pore Cleansing Oil PHA !!!! As a combo/oily skin type who rarely wears makeup, I NEVER would have thought I’d need this product because like... More oil??! But I was sooooo mislead!!! My pores have never been cleaner/smaller after using this, because after all, oil gets rid of oil! For so long I was always so frustrated with how bad of a job my water based cleansers were doing, never truly cleaning my horribly clogged pores! I guess I just forgot basic chemistry knowledge that water alone cannot get rid of oil! Plain and simple! I’m sure most people know that, but I guess my quarantine brain didn’t make that connection, but also when it comes to skincare, I guess I never truly thought of those things in the past! I will keep updating my journey as I go, but enjoy for now!

The Ordinary products for acne prone skin✨
Th Ordinary has been one of my favorite brands for some time now. I love trying new products from them knowing it won’t break the bank. I previously had a post about a few of their serums but I’ve tried to branch out since. Here’s my experience with a few new TO products as well as some of my all time favorites: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution - such a versatile product! I’ve used it for my underarms as deodorant, sometimes my feet to get rid of dead skin cells, my butt for buttne and lastly, on my face as a gentle exfoliator! I love it for all of these uses and at under $9 for 8fl oz I think it’s an amazing deal! The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - This moisturizer is okay. It’s too thick for my oily skin and leaves a matte finish, which isn’t something I particularly like. When my skin gets too dry I love using it because it instantly moisturizes but it’s more of a spot moisturizer for me than an all face one. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - absolute favorite! I’m on to my second bottle now. It definitely burns or stings sometimes no matter how many times you’ve used it but I’m okay with it since it does such a great job at exfoliating. I only keep it for up to 10 min and use it 1-2 times a week, mostly once now though since I don’t want to further dry my face. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane - this product did absolutely nothing for my face. I used it for a couple of months and my skin would refuse to absorb it, so it stayed pretty oily which I hated. I also saw no benefits to my under eye fine lines. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - this is my third bottle of this serum and this time I opted for the 60ml one as opposed to the 30ml. I use it daily and once I got to figure out the exact amount my face needs, it’s been working wonders. My face feels brighter and smoother which is why I’ve continued repurchasing. The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% - purchased this product to help with hyperpigmentation and I am still to see any major differences. My skin feels better overall but I’m not sure whether it’s solely because of this product. It’s a non oily cream which is a plus for me, I’ll continue to use it until it’s done but not sure whether I’ll repurchase.
Let’s talk skin care for mature skin
Ok... so I have mature skin and these are a few gems I have found that have helped keep the aging process at bay!!! CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is simply amazing!!! It quenches my skin and has repaired my skin barrier. I use this at night as my last step. Wake up with supple and soft skin. This is great as a hand cream as well!!! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I use this 2x a week. I love it!!! Chemical exfoliation is amazing and effective. My skin tolerates this well, so I leave it on the full 10 minutes. I follow up with my moisturizers. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my go too!! I love that it isn’t sticky and absorbs well into my skin. This is always a staple in my AM and PM routine. Follow this with a moisturizer. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum I love this. This is a little thicker than other serums, but this is great for aging skin. This is part of my PM routine as a final step before my moisturizer. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other night on the nights I do NOT use the peeling solution. This is great for aging skin as well. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane this is my other go to opposite the buffet solution. As always I follow with moisturizer. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG this is my go to for my eyes in AM. Gives added energy to tired aging eyes!! Love love love this!!!! The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this a few times a week. I tend to use this in the AM so it does not counter the other acids I apply at night. It is great after my shower. I allow my skin to set and dry for 5-7 minutes before applying my serums in my routine. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream this is my morning moisturizer. I love it! Provides the perfect amount of hydration without the heaviness. Lays beautifully underneath my makeup.
Woo! Now time to work on the dark spots
Woo!! I’m so happy with my skin right now - texture is so much smoother and acne/pimples are a lot less than a few months ago (see my previous posts!!) Now, my main concern is my dark spots. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to improve them? My current products are Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution TRADER JOE'S - Watermelon Mask and Facial Mist Set CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF MY ACNE SCARS
OOOKAY SO I'm hella desperate to find a solution for my acne; I'm 22 years old and it's still not getting better. I've gone to the dermatologist and I've been using a vitamin A retinoid for almost a year now and my acne has slightly improved. I've cut down oil, dairy and sugar, keep all LL my brushes clean and actively avoid using foundation to not clog up my pores. BUT one big issue remaining are my pitted boxcar/rolling scars ALL over my face. I'm still using the retinoid (it's called Stevia-A btw) and my routine is fairly simple. AM: -Neutrogena Hydroboost cleansing gel -Neutrogena Hydroboost moisturizing gel spf 30 PM: -Neutrogena Hydroboost cleansing gel -Stevia-A retinoid cream -Neutrogena Hydroboost AHA serum Would anyone know anything I should fix/change or add in my routine that may help get rid of my scars??? Anything helps and I would be forever grateful ❤️ Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum

Nighttime Daily Routine
I started this routine a few months ago and it has been working for my dry skin. I start with micellar water Simple - Kind to Skin Micellar Cleasing Water This helps remove makeup from my face before cleansing. It’s gentle and does not irritate my skin. Even when I don’t wear makeup I use it because of the tint in my sunscreen. Then I cleanse CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I use this product and it does not dry out my skin at all, it takes a while to get used to the lotion texture of it. This cleanser does not remove makeup well for me and that’s also why I use the micellar water. Then Niacinamide The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I use this because it works well with the retinol and helps reduce irritation that can be caused by the retinol. I am interested in trying a different Niacinamide because I read the percentage in this is higher than necessary Then retinol VERSED - PRESS RESTART I got this retinol, because I heard it was great for beginners. After I finish with this I am looking to try something new. I started using it only 1x/week and slowly increased. I now use 5x/week Then moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream I chose a cream over the lotion because it is thicker and is better for the dryer winter months. I used to wake up with dry skin on my forehead and around my lips, but since using this it has really helped! JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil I started using this oil when my face my feeling extra dry, but have recently added it to my routine every night because I love the way it makes my face feel. I feel like my skin is glowing when I wake up in the morning. I love the consistency, it’s not thick or heavy. It is pricey, but totally worth it for dry skin in the winter. 2x/week I exfoliate The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I use this AHA on the days that I don’t use the retinol. Retinol and AHAs should not be used together I read that it was a good option for dry skin.
Nighttime routine for combo skin
up&up - All In One Micellar Cleansing Water this is a good dupe for the garnier micellar water and it removes even waterproof mascara without ripping out your lashes 👍 CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin this is the best face wash that I have tried because it leaves my skin super smooth and clean The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA this is a really good serum for textured skin. It makes my skin super glowy and helps with texture The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA this is a good moisturizer and it’s good for combo or dry skin because it’s really thick and moisturizing #CeraVe - Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM[products]#[FiveStars] this is my favorite moisturizer ever! It has niacinamide and 3 ceramides in it. Also it’s really lightweight and it’s oil free #Up and Up - 10% benzoyl peroxide gel[products]#[FourStars] this is a dupe for the clean & clear persa gel. It works pretty well but it takes a while for it to work. Also it’s only $3.59 at target The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution this is the best face mask if you have acne prone skin. It makes my skin so smooth and feel so clean

Day 75 of accutane!
I am amazed at how different my skin is looking back at my other progress pictures, I can now go out not completely insecure about my acne and I owe it all to accutane. My products have simplified even more now nearing the end of my journey. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA this face cream is super affordable and just downright amazing. Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser and this cleanser is super basic and non foaming so it doesn’t strip the skin and leave my skin ever dryer it’s not the best cleanser but because it’s so basic it helps me out

Ok guys if you been following me my bumps are starting to dry up and now I have dark spots. My right side is completely healed and the left is my trouble side. After seeing my dermatologist for my follow up appointment she went up on the dose of the retinoid I use at night. If you are wondering my routine this is what I'm using. Also go look at my old pics to see where I started from. Neutrogena - Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask I love this as it dries out my bumps LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser I use this at night and love how it's super light CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion light way and keeps face moisturizer at night elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I use the tinted version now great for black girls only in the morning and I do two fingers when I apply it The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I just started using it super light weight. I started as a suggestion to help purging. Haven't told my dermatologist I'm using it but it has made the bumps on the right side calm down so so far so good. I'll update this to five stars after I have enough data to support if it really works.CeraVe - Healing Ointment I use when I experience dryness from the winter. A lot goes a long way .
3 Paula Choice Skincare Routines ❄️☃️❄️
Hey guys!!! I love Paulas choice products especially the PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega+ Complex Moisturizer and PAULA'S CHOICE - 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol Treatment !! Over on their IG they posted suggested skincare routines created by their client social services consultant Allie, I wanted to repost a few today for dry and dehydrated combo skin since it's cold outside which can often lead to dry/dehydrated skin. Paulas choice is another great brand to reach out to if you have questions!!! Just pick the products in black for an essential routine and include the products labeled in white for a full advanced routine. I do want to point out that there is NO perfect skincare routine, you need to listen to your skin. If you are feeling really dry you might want to add a heavier ceramide moisturizer or if your skin is starting to feel irritated back off on your exfoliation. Use these suggestions as a way to get started but still adjust or take away products by how your skin feels. Do you wish more companies would post suggested skincare routines based on skin type?? #cheriecreator
PAULA'S CHOICE - Radiance Renewal Mask Product Feature: . 🧴 @paulaschoice Radiance Renewal Mask: . . This is a sleeping mask that claims to boost a more even-looking skin tone, intensify hydration, and smoothen the surface of the skin. . I wouldn’t say it helped even out my skin tone or smoothed out my skin but it most definitely kept it extra hydrated! The texture is thicker and creamier than other sleeping masks I’ve used. I know this product has done its job of hydrating and sealing in moisture the next morning because I can still feel a silky layer come off when I wash my face. Because of its rich formula, I think this would be great for someone who has really dry skin! This product did a great job with my dry skin in the winter time but it’ll definitely be too rich for me in the summer time.
Textured skin, bumps not going away!
I have sensitive combination skin so I’m very aware of which products I put on my face. I struggle with fungal acne properly known as malassezia folliculitis and they’re a result of an overgrowth of yeast. I never wear makeup but I’m so embarrassed by it!!! The current products I’m using are: HERBIVORE - Jasmine Green Tea Oil Control Toner PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane For AM and PM. These products work as they’re controlling fungal acne but it’s not clearing it. My biggest skin concern is blackheads, texture and dullness. Any recommendations?
AHA and BHA
1/ WHY DO YOU NEED TO USE AHA? • Treatment of skin pigmentation, sun-damaged skin • Treat acne • Increases collagen production • Peel skin • Treatment of patients with Psoriasis (in some documents, I still see them clamping with Betamethasone 0.1% to treat Psoriasis) The big problem here is that depending on the platform of the product, it will be classified for the appropriate skin type. For example, a bottle of AHA with dry alcohol is usually more prone to acne-prone skin, rather than dry skin, then buy a bottle of dry alcohol based AHA and blame people that why AHA is "for dry skin". so? So unlucky stars! But I tell everyone, AHA is not inferior to BHA in terms of acne and pigmentation patches. 2 / WHY DO YOU USE BHA? • Treat acne, hidden acne • Cleans the pores • Reduces oil secretion on the skin • Anti-inflammatory The functions of BHA are more prone to acne skin, so most of them are used in the treatment of acne, inflammatory acne, hidden acne, ... to completely resolve that condition. In addition, when we add Niacinamide / Retinol, it is a divine pair, both reducing oil, better anti-inflammatory and bringing a marked improvement in skin pigmentation. Some product I recommend: OBAGI - Clenziderm M.D. Pore Therapy PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant Cos De BAHA - AHA Glycolic Acid 10% Serum With Witch Hazel Whitehead Power Liquid ALPHA-H - Liquid Gold Exfoliating Treatment with Glycolic Acid DON’T FORGET TO USE SUNSCREEN IN THE MORNING
The Ordinary sample Routine
So the main questions I have come across with The Ordinary products is HOW to use them? It may seem like buying a bunch of different bottles is excessive BUT with The Ordinary products it is meant to be like that. Its a way to customize your skin care routine to best fit your needs and quite inexpensive. This way you use what you need or what your skin tolerates versus buying expensive creams that might contain an ingredient that it not suitable for your skin. So the question is HOW to use it? I too had similar questions and read so much information and blogs. I had a chat with one of their experts regarding a good regimen, considering that the skin tolerates all the ingredients. Two tips to start with is: 1. Test each product individually. Meaning if you but a few different bottles don't use all at once. 2. Wash face thoroughly and pat dry. Sample AM: Niacinamide 10% + 1% Zinc (day on, don't rub) EUK 134% Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG SPF + Moisturizer Sample PM, Option 1: Lactic Acid 10% (or 5% if sensitive) Niacinamide 10% + 1% Zinc (if acne prone) Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Moisturizer Sample PM, Option 2: Retinol 2% (or your desired Strength) Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Moisturizer (The expert mentioned that the Retinol could be applylied then followed by the Vitamin C - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, IF a few test patches were done, however I think mixing the two is a big No-No, maybe alternate nights) Sample PM, Option 3: Niacinamide 10% + 1% Zinc Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Moisturizer PM regimens can alternate nights too. The key step on all these steps is Moisturizer! Any brand or type that works well for you is fine, doesn't have to be pricey as long as it is providing moisture. Additionally, let's talk about the famous AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, this could be used 1x a week, IF you're not sensitive. I find that instead of waiting the full 10 minutes you could do like 5 minutes one time a week or even 1x every 2 weeks and increase the minutes as you continue to use until you're able to leave on for the 10 minutes as instructed. I have tried the above combos slowly and so far it has been great, but what works for one person might not work for another. When in doubt you can always ask an expert through their site. Overall, my FAVORITE product is the Niacinamide 10% + 1% Zinc. It has left my skin super soft and the slight redness I used to have is gone. I have fair skin and I feel this has helped balance out my skin so much. I am not oily at all during the day, and this is a huge deal for me. I live in S. Florida and being oil free during the day is a big win. It also leaves me with a dewy look which just makes me feel great in my skin. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
4 Weeks: TO's Niacinimide Serum and Azelaic Acid
*OUTDATED AZELAIC ACID REVIEW* here are the pros and cons of the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and my final review! cons -purging (3 weeks) - purging made first 2 weeks useless :( pros -great price point -worked pretty well -bottle lasts over 1 month (i used it twice a day) so like i stated in my 2 week review for niacinimide, it was like what i used, in the beginning, was gone to waste because it only broke me out. but i'm planning on ordering another bottle because my right side cleared up pretty well. i'm going to give the niacinimide the benefit of the doubt and give it another chance. i'd suggest that you be careful about how this will affect your skin and be willing to go through a few pimples to get results! for the azelaic acid, i really don't know how it much it affected my skin. i got it for dark spots and texture, but i don't think it did much for texture and i don't if it was more the niacinimide or the azelaic acid. however, the price point is good ($7.90). it's a little difficult to spread, but it's not a big issue. i just don't see it being an necessity in my skincare routine, so i will be saying goodbye to this products! i plan on getting the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionsoon for acne and texture!
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
The Ordinary Peeling Solution 🙌
No doubt that there’s a LOT of hype about this product. You know why? It’s because it’s THAT GOOD. After just using this two times, I already see a significant change in my skin! The stubborn scars I have left would not go away even with using TO’s niacinamide. With the peeling solution, those scars and any hyperpigmentation have become lighter and evened out. After using this, I do follow up with the niacinamide. ✨ I only use this once a week like with any ol’ exfoliator. Since this has a potent amount of acid, I would say use this with precaution. Luckily, I didn’t experience any major discomfort. It says that it’ll cause some kind of tingly feeling but it should go away after a few seconds. That’s exactly what I felt and nothing more. If you’re planning to use this in the day and go out, WEAR SUNSCREEN!! Honestly just wear sunscreen anytime you’re going out pls 🥺 The directions say to leave this on for 10 minutes, so please don’t go over that amount of time! When using this, don’t use an INSANE amount of it either. It’s dangerous! I would say just use about 3-4 pea size drops all over the face :) if you do feel any major discomfort, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Perfect skin is just a peel away!
I was so skeptical of this miracle peel but for the price point (less than $8!!), I figured I would give it a go. I am astounded with the results. Just one per week I use this peel and my skins texture is nearly perfected after I use it. I no longer get uneven texture on my cheeks, I’m so happy. I also notice that it helps even out my tone and reduce dark spots. Warning: if you try this you MUST wear SPF 30 or higher throughout the following week! Otherwise you are prone to sunburn and cancerous UV rays penetrating deeply. Please use with caution. Retails for $7.20 The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
