Best Eye Cream: 3W Clinic, Mizon, AHC?
JeanieHan
There’s an old saying that my mom used to tell me when I was younger: you can see how old someone is by their neck, their hands, or their eyes.
Eye wrinkles are some of the earliest signs of aging. My mom was very insistent about that. She’s already in her 50s now but she gets mistaken as my friend or my older sister all the time, thanks to her wrinkle-free, flawless skin.
That’s why even though I was only in my late teens then, I decided to already add eye creams to my routine. Here are three products that I’ve tried before.
The first one I tried was MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream
Brightening eye serums
Anti-aging eye creams
Anti-wrinkle eye creams
Eye creams for dark circles
Eye wrinkles
MIZON
AHC

LucilleandelsieAre there major differences between the iterations of the AHC eye cream? I have one and like it but didn’t know if I should be trying others!

P.m. skincare routine. Suggestions ?
Here is my pm skincare routine. Started to care about my skin couple months ago only. Never had major issues but fine lines are starting to appear and let’s face it, I was bored during quarantine.
I wanted to give double cleanse a try but had trouble finding a drugstore cleansing balm. I came across cocokind - Oil to milk cleanser and was pleasantly surprised. Works okay on make up and is gentle with nice ingredients. I wish the gliding would be a bit more smooth though. I can sometimes feel some pulling and tugging. 🌾
I follow with sioris - Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser as I like milky cleansers. This one is fine especially in colder weather but I sometimes feel like its a bit heavy and not deep cleansing enough. I prefer LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser but have run out. 🥛
I then follow with a first essence and a toner. People always say they are not essential in your routine but they’re actually my fave step. Adding soothing and hydrating ingredients without any heavy/greasy texture (I damaged my skin barrier after over exfoliating). I'm from - Mugwort Essence & COSRX - Propolis Synergy Toner are the ones I’m using right now. My skin agrees with both and it calms down any redness or tight feeling after cleansing. 🐝
I wanted to try snail mucin and was missing a small amount for free shipping (I know you feel me) so opted for MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream . Haven’t seen any results on the fine lines around my eyes yet as its only been a couple weeks but the texture is amazing and light and silky. 🐌
Once a week I will use THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum . Will step up to two times a week very soon. Just started my retinol journey and almost made the mistake to go with a 1% OTC retinol. Boy am I glad I did some research. This one is 0,05% retinol. Would really like your recommendations for a next step retinol for my next purchase :). I end the routine with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion . Really love this. It has niacinamide which is nice because I don’t use it in serum form. I have it in my am toner as well and its just enough for me. Would maybe wanna switch up for a heavier moisturizer for winter if you have any suggestions. Cerave is always sold out in drugstores so wanted to try something else when I run out.
Please feel free to recommend products you like.
I will mention I use I'm from - Honey Mask and dear, klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream on nights my skin feel really bothered (like the night after I used the retinol) I adore the mask but will not be repurchasing the klairs cream. Its a bit overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I will gladly pay less for a similar white “less instagramable” cream. Any suggestion for this one as well? 🍯💙

- The serum is packed with peptides and antioxidants
- This moisturiser is cheap and does an amazing job! Protect that skin barrier

AHC Essential tube sold every 3 seconds!?
✨ I’ll be honest, I was so confused. Was this an eye cream or face cream? It’s both! Eye cream for all intents and purposes are concentrated face serums. I have not have been using an eye cream for several years as I use serums, essence, toner, and moisturizer. I didn’t feel it was really necessary.
•
✨ This eye cream explains that it may be used everywhere but is concentrated for eye use. This one markets that is sells a tube every 3 seconds. I had to try for myself why.
•
✨It is loaded with vitamins and peptides. It is more gel and not as creamy as conventional eye creams. It is light and silky on the skin. My eye area is my problem area with dark circles and bags. I’ll provide an update after a month use! To test I have nose wrinkle I get from when I concentrate and crinkle my nose. I noticed it has finished over the week. I am sold!

Let me know what you think of eye creams and which ones do you use?
Take care and be kind, to others and yourself 🤗
AHC-Essential Eye Cream
cutest undereye serum ever
i’ve recently been obsessed w korean skincare and innisfree is such a great brand to start with. this undereye serum is literally so adorable it comes with a roller applicator that not only makes things more fun but also helps reduce puffiness!!
consistency wise it’s very thin and seeps into the undereye really easily. it has green tea in it which helps calm everything down. i will say that after about a month of using this ive seen improvements in puffiness but not really darkness( although my undereye is not very dark to begin with).
worth it? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
yes!! it’s around 20$ at sephora for 10ml which is not too bad. you’re not using much product ( since it’s only your undereye) so it’ll last long for sure. i love putting this on at night, it makes me feel bougie and pampered haha

top tier eye cream for dark circles!
I’ve put together a review on this eye cream today, so keep reading if you want — Farmacy is in my top three favorite brands (no order really), and I’ve tried most things from them, so ask away in the comments if you want my thoughts on any Farmacy product.
I currently have sensitive, combo skin with rosacea!
FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry
Claims: “super hydrating, vitamin c eye cream that brightens and helped reduce the look of fine lines and dark circles, good for all skin types.”
Key ingredients: vitamin c (from acerola cherry & other derivatives), hyaluronic acid (everyone’s fave), and sacha inchi peptide + caffeine. Vegan, cruelty free, gluten free.
First, the texture is so bouncy. It kind of feels like pudding jello to me, and Farmacy recommends that you tap the top of the cream lightly with your finger, and what your finger holds on to will be enough for your eye. So catch me gently tapping this eye cream! It doesn’t contain any fragrances, so no need to worry about that sensitive skin around your eye!
I didn’t have many fine lines around my eye area before I started using this, so I cannot attest to its effectiveness there. However, my undereyes are so much brighter than they’ve ever been (and maybe that’s combining with actually getting enough sleep lately) and now I have very minimal dark circles. This didn’t irritate my skin or cause any milia, and to me it’s the best consistency!
This eye cream is $45, but as we all know, eye creams last forever because it takes very little product to make a difference. I don’t think eye cream is a necessity for many of y’all, and I hear that lots of people think it’s just a glorified moisturizer. I do like having them in my routines and I will probably always!

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I’m going to talk about the @naturiumskin multi peptide eye cream ($16). I of course love the packaging I really like the simple look. The eye cream is suppose to hydrate and smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles. This product also has this really nice thick texture. I’m really enjoying this eye cream it’s very hydrating and looks really nice under makeup. It’s super affordable for all the amazing ingredients that’s in this product. 10/10 recommend!

Are eye crema worth your money? 👀
Do you REALLY need an eye cream? 👀 Here's the thing, the skin around your eyes is more fragile and more prone to dryness. Because of this, it's also the first area to show age signs and fatigue.
We move our eyes A LOT, which hastens the appearance of lines and wrinkles. To make things worse, fluids tend to collect under this area, which results in puffiness and dark circles.
So, are eye creams worth it? 💸
Here's the truth: eye creams are GREAT for properly moisturizing and caring for your eye area. However, they WON'T get rid of dark circles. Why? Because dark circles and puffiness are the results of circulation issues. You need lymphatic massages in this area to help those lessen overtime.
I include them in my skincare routine because it helps with my eye area sensitivity and overall texture. But, I'm aware that it won't make my dark circles disappear.
What's your take on eye creams?
Perfect for milia prone eyes!
The Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel is an eye serum that claims to reduce visible puffiness and dark circles. It is to be used around the eye area morning and night and is for all skin types including sensitive skin. The main ingredient is plant derived squalane.
I loved using this eye serum gel around my eyes because you feel a slight tingling when you apply it and it absorbs quickly. I’ve tried many eye creams and they often create milia around and on my eye lids and under eye region. I am pleased to say that after using for a week this did not cause any milia or itching! I’m really happy it is suitable for sensitive skin because a ton of eye products claim to be but really are not.
I will be trying the eye cream from Biossance next and am hoping that works just as good. It does have light “vitamin” scent but I’m ok with it because I used a vitamin c serum in the past that a similar scent.
