Best Sunscreen: Innisfree, 3W Clinic, Vaseline?

I have combination skin that tends to develop dark spots. I also suffer from dullness, so I always try my best to make my skin as bright as possible. Obviously, this also means using sunscreen whenever I’m outside. I’ve tried out three different sunscreens so far and here are my thoughts about them! The first one I want to talk about is Vaseline - Healthy White SPF 30 PA++ Serum
which is technically a body serum but is also used as a sunscreen. It has SPF30 PA+++ and promises “flawless skin all over”. What I like the most about it is that it has a water-based formulation that is very lightweight and non-greasy. In fact, I don’t really feel anything when I have this on my face, which is a major plus. Lastly, I bought this for only $3 for 70ml, a really affordable price for a good product. The second one I tried is 3W CLINIC - Intensive UV Sunblock Cream
It has SPF 50 PA++++, almost twice as much as Vaseline’s. It contains aloe extract and arbutin, two ingredients that can soothe and brighten tired skin. The formulation is also non-greasy, although if you compare it to Vaseline’s, it’s a lot heavier and you can definitely feel it on your skin. I also had to use powder more often with this on since it triggered my oily areas. This is also fairly cheap at $6 for 70ml. The third one, and the one I’m currently using now, is innisfree - Innisfree Intensive Long Lasting Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++
This is actually one of three variants, the other two being Intensive Triple Care and Intensive Anti-Pollution. I chose this variant because I’m not a fan of re-application, if I have to reapply something I’d probably just forget it. Similar to 3W Clinic’s, it also has SPF 50+ PA++++. It’s not as lightweight as Vaseline’s but it’s definitely less sticky than 3W Clinic’s. It also doesn’t make me oily. Sadly, it’s the most expensive of the three, costing me roughly $13 for 50ml. If I were to rank these three, I’d say Innisfree goes first, followed by Vaseline, then 3W Clinic. That said, I still actually use all three! I use Vaseline on my body since it’s really cheap. Innisfree is the best but it’s quite expensive, so I only reserve it on days that I want to use makeup. If I’m just going to the beach or if I’m planning to play sports, I use 3W Clinic instead. What about you, what’s your favorite sunscreen? Have you tried any of these options? Let me know in the comments below!

✨🌸 What's in my bathroom? 🌸✨
Hey everyone! This is my first post! 🥰 I decided to start off with this kind of post because this batch of skincare is my first ever! (I have only been consciously aware of my skincare for about two months now) So I'm always reevaluating my routine 😅 My skin type: combination;mostly dry but specifically oily in the creases of my nose. Prone to sensitivity, redness, and dehydration. Lets talk products! ♡CLEANSERS♡ Dr.Ceuracle - Pro Balance Pure Cleansing Oil Love this gentle oil cleanser! I only occasionally wear mascara(not waterproof) and it takes that off no problem with zero eye irritation! ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Cleansing Foam Amazing, gentle, pure foam cleanser! Does not feel drying or make my skin tight after use, even without my oil cleanser! Pyunkang Yul - Low pH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam I have only used this about 3 times; each time after use I seem to get slight irritation, but doesn't last longer than 10-15 minutes or the rest of my products calm it down. ♡TONERS♡ pixi - Rose Tonic I love the rose smell(natural fragrance) and it can be a bit sticky after applying but doesn't bother me. pixi - Vitamin-C Tonic I feel like this toner is a great introduction to Vit C in skincare. I have "virgin" skin so this even tingles a little, but zero irritation even when I do 2-3 layers. COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid Very hydrating exfoliating toner and it leaves my skin so soft. This does not irritate my sensitive skin at all!(I only use 1-2 times a week) Pyunkang Yul - Essence Toner Honestly underwhelmed for the hype I heard about it. Still giving it a chance. Fleur & Bee - Rose and Shine / Natural Rose Water Toner Just a convenient hydrating mist. ♡SERUMS/OILS♡ Pyunkang Yul - Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum Very nice to apply, great for layering Krave - Great Barrier Relief 100% WORTH THE HYPE essano - Certified Rosehip Oil I can't rate this yet(only used once so far) but overall first application was soothing! ♡MOISTURIZERS♡ Krave - Oat So Simple Water Cream Personally not hydrating enough alone for my dry skin, but a great base cream for me to layer with others due to the clean ingredients list. Pyunkang Yul - Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream Great cream; however, the lid does have some black flakes of something that fall into the product when screwing it on and off. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Mediocre gel cream, not hydrating enough for me and the ingredients aren't the greatest. ANDALOU NATURALS - Luminous Night Cream Purple Carrot + C I love the thickness of this, but sometimes I wake in the morning with a weird tight flilmy feeling on my face. #Murad - Age Reform Perfecting Night Cream[products]# Honestly just bought this because it was on clearance😅 so we'll see how it goes Up next: my first detox mask, my sunscreens and a natural deodorant! ♡🌸✨

Brand Review: Innisfree
Innisfree is an eco-friendly brand that has been around since 2002. The company creates a whole bunch of products centered around different natural ingredients, like aloe vera, volcanic clay, and green tea. Most, if not all, of their products are pretty affordable so even students can afford them. In fact, I personally have plenty of experience using Innisfree products from my high school and university days. I’ve already tried several products from this brand, including two that I’m still using right now. I’ll list some of them here: 1. innisfree - Pore Clearing Facial Foam I’ve been using this since I was a student at university. It’s been renamed so many times but the base product is practically the same. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean, which I really like, haha. Only downside is that it’s also incredibly drying so make sure you follow it up with a good moisturizer. 2. innisfree - Innisfree Intensive Long Lasting Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ This is my go-to sunscreen when I want to go out. I use it under my powder or my makeup but it never makes my skin oily or greasy. It also has SPF50+ PA++++ so I know I’m well-protected from harmful UV rays. 3. innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask I used to apply clay masks every week or so when I was still a student. My choice of mask was this baby from Innisfree. It’s kinda hard to apply at first and it hardened pretty quickly, but on the upside, it always made my skin feel smooth and soft afterwards. 4. innisfree - No Sebum Mineral Powder I’m actually not a huge fan of makeup, so most of the time, you’ll probably just see me with a powder on and maybe some lip tint. No Sebum Powder was my go-to powder as a student. It was great at hiding oiliness around mid-day. However, I found it too expensive for such a small amount of product so I had to switch to another brand. 5. innisfree - Bija Trouble Spot Essence I got this I think around 3 years ago when I was still looking for an effective spot treatment for pimples. Unfortunately, it didn’t really work for me. This is probably the only Innisfree product that I found pretty disappointing. For the most part, Innisfree products are affordable and effective products that can help you deal with various skin concerns. Plus, if you’re looking for eco-friendly skincare, you should probably give this brand a try! 💋

Today I wanted to share a suns
Today I wanted to share a sunscreen and vitamin c serum I've been using from the brand Cal pharma, a cruelty free and paraben free brand. 🐰 The C15 plus antioxidant serum. It's a lovely vitamin c serum and I've enjoyed this one alot. It has a light citrus scent to it. It's made from a super stable form of Vitamin C that penetrates to the active layers in order to provide maximum effect. According to leading dermatologists, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates collagen production and helps to reduce signs of aging by repairing the damage done by free radicals and the sun. I've also been loving their ultra clear daily skin hydrator mineral based broad spectrum spf 50. It's lightweight which I appreciate. It doesn't feel greasy on the skin at all. I also love that it's water resistant for 80 mins. Plus I love that it has no fragrance in it at all. It's been a great daily sunscreen for me.

The Ordinary VS. NIOD, Guess Who Wins?👑
The Ordinary VS. NIOD, Guess Who Wins?👑
NIOD is DECIEM's most high-end skincare line. Everyone should have heared about DECIEM's The Ordianry, which revolutionized the industry with generous ingredient lists and unbelievable cheap prices. NIOD is an even better and more effective skincare line compared with The Ordinary. I have dry skin that is sensitive to UV and chemical sunscreen, so I always use physical or mineral sunscreens. NIOD - Survival 30-$25.00 for 30ml It feels great to use👏It has a soft, lightweight and gray-white liquid texture. It makes your face look oily when first applied, but soon becomes natural after it's absorbed. It settles on the skin fast, and it improves skin tone and minimizes the appearance of pores. I will not use a foundation if I'm wearing sunscreen. In addition to providing UV resistance, it also fights pollution, blue light, and other environmental and lifestyle-related assaults. Besides, it also has an anti-oxidant effect on the skin. No makeup pigments are used in this product to correct skin tone and texture, so I use this as a makeup base and I won't use a makeup remover to remove my makeup alone to prevent secondary damage to the skin. ButThe Ordinary - Mineral UV Filters SPF 15 with Antioxidants- $10.95 for 50ml It leaves a white-gray layer on your skin. It's also sticky, greasy, and difficult to wash off.😭😭😭 It really took way too long to melt into my skin. Not good at blending and it left a weird blueish tint on my face. And it balls up when I add foundation to my sunscreen. Good price but I would rather pay a little more for one that doesn’t have a weird colour to it and have a better smell. I totally recommend NIOD if your budget allows.👍 Have you tried these two brands before? Let me know 🥰

Wearing SPF everyday is so imp
Wearing SPF everyday is so important, but finding the right one can sometimes be a challenge. I’ve been using the same SPF for a couple of years and decided that it was time to try something new. — Solara creates products that help shield the skin from the sun, as well as digital and environmental pollution using natural ingredients and remains 100% transparent on their labels. I chose 3 products from their range and have been using them religiously, as I’ve been spending a ton of time in the sun this summer. — First up, Time Traveler, a lightweight moisturizer with zinc oxide broad spectrum SPF 30 for the face. As this is a mineral sunscreen, it does take some work to blend into the skin, but once it absorbs it isn’t sticky or heavy. I haven’t tried it under a full face of makeup, but it does play nice with lightweight foundations. I’ve been ride or die for my holy grail SPF, so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this. — Glow Getter is a mineral sunscreen for face and body with SPF 30. Along with sun protection, it also tones and illuminates the skin with subtle light-reflecting mineral particles. I’ve used this primarily on the body and love how it leaves my skin sparkling. It feels lightweight and hydrating. I do wish that it came in a larger tube though. I found that I needed a decent amount of product to cover my entire body (on beach/pool days) and I’m going through the bottle quickly. — The JuiceBoost Serum contains a cocktail of two stable forms of vitamin C and powerful antioxidants to protect the skin from environmental stressors. I haven’t been using this long enough for a full report, but I can tell you that the light gel formula absorbs in seconds and feels absolutely lovely. I’m a huge fan of the travel-friendly packaging. More on this soon!

Sunscreen is ESSENTIAL
Sunscreen is ESSENTIAL
Having been playing soccer since I was 5 I am constantly in the sun and up until recently never wore sunscreen, and I would never burn. The most that would happen is that my cheeks would get a slight flush to them. However, despite my seemingly inability to burn, I have recently come to the epiphany (thanks to the beauty lovers of the world) that sunscreen will help prevent wrinkles, premature aging, and so much more. I wear at least an SPF 30 daily, but given that it’s generally hot and sunny wear I love, I tend to reach for SPF 50 more times than not. Below are the two sun care products that I use daily sun bum - Face Lotion SPF 50 I use this sunscreen pretty much everyday! It’s extremely light weight and feels like there’s nothing on your skin. I love that it isn’t greasy and is also water resistant. I highly recommend this for anyone who works out, especially outside, because your sweat won’t take it off. Supergoop! - AcaiFusion Lip Balm Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Yes! Your lips need sun protection, and this lip balm is perfect. One application last pretty much all day and leaves a glossy finish.

Bronzey glow + antioxidant pro
Bronzey glow + antioxidant protection? ☀️ The sun’s seriously scorching here at the moment and while I already obsessively douse myself with SPF 50, today I thought I’d ramp up the skincare protection with a dose of my drunkelephant D-Bronzi. Full of antioxidants to help shield my vampire skin, this bronze-coloured concentrate is happily also ideal for mixing with face oils/moisturisers/spf/foundation for a pretty yoga skin look; perfect for a laid-back selfcare day.

My morning routine ~ skin care :)
My morning routine ~ skin care :)
I have it down to a science bc of how complicated my face is, but also from the glossier face quiz. It's only three questions, but basically it gives you a routine with steps for the morning and night. Of course, I got the combo result, and it's what I used to create my routine since it works for me. Anyway, here's what I use to prep my skin for makeup in the morning. :) 1. Wake up of course haha 2. I put one drop of the glossier super glow (vitamin c serum) onto my forehead and each cheek and lather it in. Then I let it dry a little to set in. 3. I use the glossier priming moisturizer on - around the length of my last finger digit (I'll post something soon showing how much of stuff I use) to give my face some moisture without getting too oily. 4. I finish up with the sun bum face 50 sunscreen and put a generous amount on since sunscreen soaks in pretty fast and bc I'm pale 😭🙃 That's all for the morning unless I put on makeup! That post is coming soon! ✨ Also, my face gets much less oily when I do this every morning and they're some of the products from the few brands I don't have allergic reactions or rashes to.
