Honest Review: Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner
Although I’m not that prone to breakouts, I do get a lot of blackheads and whiteheads, especially around my t-zone area. I’ve always had combination skin so while my cheeks are mostly dry, my forehead, nose, and chin tend to get oily when it gets warm and humid. Before, I relied mostly on physical exfoliation and extraction to get the job done. However, that’s not really recommended since it can wear out the skin over time. So when I first found this toner after searching for AHA/BHA products, I was pretty excited. Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner promises to prevent all my skin problems–blackheads, whiteheads–and more. It also claims to be able to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Pretty nice, if you ask me. My expectations weren’t really high since this was just a random find, plus I view toners simply as a prepping step before I get into my heavy-duty products. I only have three conditions:
It doesn’t make me break out.
It doesn’t make me oily.
It can be combined with my other skincare products. So, how did this AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner fare? 💋💋💋💋 4 out of 5 kisses! It’s good enough for daily use (ha!) since it fulfilled pretty much all of my conditions. What I loved the most about this product was how lightweight and gentle it was on my skin. In fact, I had a hard time taking a swatch photo because it almost has the same consistency as plain water. Since it was lightweight, it got absorbed quickly, which meant I could use it in the morning too. In fact, Mizon actually advertises this toner to be used twice a day, for both your AM and PM skincare routine. That’s how gentle it is to the skin. That said, I didn’t really feel like it wasn’t really HG material so after finishing the bottle I chose not to repurchase. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just that I was still getting the same problems as before. It did help me a bit with the blackheads but I felt like I was better off looking for something else. If you’re interested in this product, you can check it out here on Cherie for only $15.86. Incredible Niacinamide Toner!
GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner This toner supposedly only reduces pore size, brightens, and and evens skin tone, but i’ve noticed other changes. The (unfortunately large) number of my blackheads has decreased significantly and dry skin is no where in sight! 😍 If you’re looking for a toner for acne-prone skin and these all sound good to you, look no further! This toner is $14 which is pretty standard but I think it’s pretty cheap considering I’ve been using this toner since August (using considerable amounts each time) and have a good amount left! 🎉 The texture is a transparent liquid, as most toners are, and is the perfect base for your morning or night skincare routine! As long as you use it correctly (don’t overuse it with other potentially drying ingredients), i’ve yet to hear a bad review! 😛 Please try this if you are in need of a toner! I’m so glad this is the first toner I decided to take a chance on! 💓

Good Molecules Niacinamide— pore minimizer!
I’ve loved incorporating niacinamide into my skincare routine through the Good Molecules serum! The serum is an incredible product: viscous with just the slightest tacky feeling that goes away after it sinks in. Niacinamide is kind of this universally beneficial ingredient that claims to do it all— helps to minimize large pores, provides anti-inflammatory effects on acne and rosacea, and improves the skin’s surface structure (i.e. smoothes wrinkles). I’ve been using the serum exclusively at night after chemical treatments and have noticed less and less blackheads around my nose! Since nothing can “actually” make your pores smaller, the key to making them less noticeable is a product like this to keep them clean and inconspicuous. Make sure you follow up with a good moisturizer though because I have noticed that niacinamide can dry out your skin if used on it’s own! Overall, for the price of this product ($6.00 !!!!!!!!) this is an incredible value. It’s definitely worth trying out niacinamide through this brand because of how accessible it is, and how clean the formulation is! I recommend 100%! 5/5 stars ✨ GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner

dream toner for sensitive skin
Okay, so I’m obsessed with the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner - it was super generously sent to me from Beautylish ages ago, and I recently repurchased it because it’s such a favorite of mine This toner is meant to brighten the skin and visibly reduce the size of pores, but it’s also super gentle so it can be used daily. My skin is super sensitive so I always play it safe and use it maybe every other day, but I’ve never had a bad reaction to it. It’s especially great for any days where I’m dealing with acne or breakouts, so I think it would be good for most (if not all) skin types. This product contains both Niacinamide and a stable version of vitamin c, which are such power house ingredients. It’s a watery texture, and I’ve been using this for a few months and it’s definitely helped with brightening my skin and helping temporarily reduce the size of my pores. Again, i think it would definitely be suitable for other skin types, but it’s GREAT for sensitive skin in my experience. This will cost you about $14 for 4 oz, so it’s also super affordable

first off i’d like to note that i have: • combo skin; very oily t-zone, normal lower cheeks/jawline • sensitive skin; my skin will show redness, be tingly, or itchy if it doesn’t like something • dehydrated skin depending on the environment/weather i’m in • acne-prone; hormonal acne on the chin • largest pores on earth; excess sebum & blackheads on the nose ETUDE - Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner having oily but sensitive and sometimes dehydrated skin is a pain when it comes to finding a product that doesn’t clog the pores yet doesn’t suck ALL the oil out of my skin. but after reading reviews, i decided to buy the Etude House - Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner. i can safely say that i’ll be using this until the day i possibly find a better one. this toner is hydrating but not too moisturizing. the texture is basically like water and once i apply it onto my skin, my skin literally drinks it and then i can just apply a moisturizer and continue on with my day. it has ingredients that actually calm the skin so my sensitive skin loves that. also, it doesn’t irritate my acne nor does it create new ones. i’m currently on my 3rd bottle and i definitely am gonna purchase more :)

Somebymi AHA - BHA - PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream [THOUGHTS] Before I used this cream, I’ve been getting pimples all over my face but they’d usually pop on different places, mostly near the edge and my eyebrows. I even got little bumps but now my face has been calm even when it was the time of the month! I took photos of my pimples and acne scars when I started using this cream and they are fading away!! I did get some help from other products like TO’s rosehip seed oil and TMYS’s brightening essence. It healed my zits and they didn’t stay for too long. I really saw a difference and I hope the serum they sent me would also work well with my skin. The texture of this cream is lightweight and it reminds me of Tiam’s. My oily skin absorbs it pretty well and I find it moisturizing. Blackheads are also nowhere to be found! While the scent reminds me of a citrus fruit. INGREDIENTS . 💚 Contains tea tree extracts - antibacterial & anti-inflammation 💚 4-Cica Care derived from Centella Asiatica - takes care of the skin barrier and soothes the skin. 💚 AHA / BHA / PHA - exfoliates the skin’s surface & pores while retaining and protecting the moisture. 💚 Adenosine / Citric Acid / Ceramide / Lactobionic Acid - helps with anti-aging 💚 Niacinamide - brightening . I also saw Lavender, Rosemary, Oregano, Orange and Thyme extracts which can be sensitizing to the skin. No break out since I used this product. This also made me realize that I really need my Centella, AHAs, BHAs and PHAs in my routine!

AHA/BHA toner for sensitive skin!
COSRX - AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner This is the Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Toner. This toner gently exfoliates flakes and dull skin to prevent whiteheads and blackheads. With acne fighting AHAs and BHAs, this toner claims to control excess oil while nourishing and hydrating with vitamins. It retails for around $17 and it applies as a mist. I use this toner at night only after I wash my face. i think that this toner is on the thin side but it is not astringent. it sinks in fairly quickly, i usually spray once then wait then spray on a second layer. Overall, this product has been AWESOME. it doesn’t break me out, it has transitioned well into the colder season and the application is so easy. i like the lower price point and i can easily buy it through a local korean skincare shop! i totally this this product is worth it and i would repurchase this!
