Not Listed face VICHY - Mineralizing Thermal Water Spray Rich in 15 Minerals
JUST EMPTIED THIS it’s a yes from me!
Hey you guys! I’m Louisa and I’m here to share with you my verdict on HIGHLY RATED products! The product I have emptied today is.. VICHY - Aqualia Thermal Hydrating Night Cream with Hyaluronic Acid My skin type: dry, blackheads on my nose, freckles from the sun Pros: -has hyaluronic acid (perfect for all skin types that wants their skin to feel hydrated and soft) -very moisturizing and non-sticky, I use it as PM cream - very light weight, not thick at all (good for both summer and winter) -little goes a long way, you only need a little bit of product for your whole face Cons: -has fragrance (might not be good for sensitive skin), although the smell is not strong -a bit pricey $40CAD Overall, 5/5! I LOOOOVE this product, this is already my second purchase and of course I’ll be buying it again! Coming up next: Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion (follow so you won’t miss out!!)
Hello beautiful people! I’m new here at Cherie, and i thought for my first post, I’ll share my morning skincare routine with you guys 😉 I have an oily-combination skin. Certain spots get flaky, especially when the weather out is harsh. I find that constant-changing weather/temperature is SO bad for me, and these products have helped me get through them! cocokind - Rosewater Facial Toner • i have searched SO long for a good facial toner for me. i wanted to have a toner that won’t leave my face feeling stretched and dehydrated, and this is definitely the opposite! its only ingredient is rosewater, no additives, just pure rosewater. rosewater helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, so those dry spots around my face basically became nonexistent, they all calmed down! whenever i spray this product on my face, i just feel my skin thanking me, it’s like a cool tall glass of water. VICHY - Aqualia Thermal Water Gel Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid • this one’s for my oily/comb girls! i tend to lean towards more the gel-creme/water based types of moisturizer because them cream based ones makes me HELLA oily. if i’m being honest, this is not my first choice for a gel-creme moisturizer. i got this as a gift, so i decided to try it, but honestly? I’m not mad at it! it does the job for me, it leaves my face feeling cool and hydrated throughout the day 🥰 LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios Ultra Fluid Face Lotion SPF 50+ • this is the newest addition to my routine. SPF breaks me out so bad. I’ve been feeling guilty about not having sunscreen in my routine, so i decided to purchase this! it’s fluid, and it does not leave a white cast on my face as i do have a more tanned skin (that filipina complexion is STRONG). I have been using it for 2 days, and so far, no pimples yet! so we’ll see 😁 Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray • this product is not really a necessity but i just love how it instantly refreshes my skin! During harsh summer days, one quick mist of this and i feel fresher than a tall glass of lemonade! it emulsifies the products on my face as well, so it can easily penetrate my skin barriers. it only has two ingredients: water and nitrogen. bonus tip: i also use this as my setting spray! and that’s it! after i apply these products, i know that i’m ready go on about my day! if you guys have noticed, i didn’t put any cleansers and serums. I sometimes just wash my face with water in the morning because i don’t want to get rid of all the good moisture on my face that i had during the night. for me it gives me a little ~*oOmPf*~. and as for serums, i have just purchased some The Ordinary products and it hasn’t arrived yet, so we’ll wait and see! Hope i helped some yall!
Affordable empties - worth every penny!
Can you tell that I’m a big Hydro Boost fan? I swear there is always two items in my cupboard that are from the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line 🙈 Anyways, I love all of these products AND they are all affordable. I would repurchase any of these and in some cases I already have! Neutrogena - Fragrance-Free Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream Such a lovely body lotion. It glides over the skin so easily and absorbs quickly after. I always buy the fragrance-free version. Love the pump, it’s super convenient and love the price point (typically around $10-$15 and you get a lot of product). Benzagel - Acne Wash I have two empties here and I have one more in my cupboard that I’m using right now and I have back up in my other cupboard. For me personally, this product has helped so much with my stubborn acne and I can’t go without it in my evening routine. It’s just under $10 which is a great price. BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water A cult classic. I love this for helping take off whatever is on my face after a workout or for breaking down my eye makeup during the evening. For some reason I feel like it works better and is gentler than other drugstore options. I have two empties here and I’m working on a third right now. It’s $15-$20 for a bottle, which is a little more than other drugstore micellar waters but it works better (in my opinion) and you typically get more product. VERSED - Keep It Supple Body Oil It’s so moisturizing and definitely does make skin feel supple. I like the convenience of the spray top, but I do find myself spraying it into my hands instead and then spreading it on just because I don’t have very good aim and typically spray some oil all over the floor of my bathroom... They oil doesn’t dry in immediately, but it’s not too greasy or wet. It lasted me quite a while and it’s just $10-$15. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream I don’t think I need to say anything about this one. Cult fave. Great texture for oily / combo skin or for a summer routine. Always buy the fragrance free option. Good price for around $20! I keep buying, although I’m always trying other gel creams. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The price point on this is *chef’s kiss*, as with almost all Ordinary products. It’s around $6 and a little goes a long way with this! Incorporating this into my routine helps with brightening, oil control and the appearance of pores. It didn’t do a ton for my acne or dark marks, but overall really happy with the oil control and how it works on my pores. Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+ The only thing I don’t love about this product is the scent. It smells like alcohol, although it fades once it’s on your skin. I love the gel-like texture, how lightweight it is, how it reapplies over makeup and the price point, $15. 😘
FAV BODY LOTIONS 🤩
BATH & BODY WORKS - Aromatherapy EUCALYPTUS TEA Body Lotion this lotion smells so great and the lotion is not too thick. i use this after i get out of the shower to rehydrate my body! ••••••••••••••• Lubriderm - Advanced Therapy Lotion, Deeply-Hydrates Extra-Dry Skin this lotion is very soothing for very dry skin. this is a great winter lotion to keep your skin from cracking!!!! •••••••••••••••• BATH & BODY WORKS - A THOUSAND WISHES Ultra Shea Body Cream this is my go to scent for bath and body works and i LOVE the texture of the cream •••••••••••••••• THE BODY SHOP - Coconut Body Butter i have recently been super into coconut scents and found this at marshalls and decided to give it a try!! i LOVE it. the scent, the texture, everything is great ••••••••••••••••• Neutrogena - Fragrance-Free Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream i love using this during the summer because if the hydroboost aspect! it feels very similar to the hydro boost face lotion, and this big bottle is only $10 at walmart!
Getting a new tattoo is always SO exciting! Aftercare maintenance is a MUST to make sure your new tat heals up beautifully and lasts forever! Here are my current 3 faves: Cetaphil - Baby Calming Wash as long as you’re using an antibacterial, perfume free soap you should be in the clear. I like this baby wash because it’s soo gentle and isn’t drying. Smells a lil funky but not unbearable. *Dr Bronners also makes a great affordable antibacterial soap bar. Aveeno - Baby Soothing Relief Moisturizing Cream Fragrance-Free this lotion is amazing!!! I use it on all my ink, fresh or healed, and it keeps your skin moisturized all day. It has natural Colloidal Oatmeal to further soothe the skin. Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant Aquaphor is such an amazing all around ointment. It’s a non-comedogenic occlusive so it will lock moisture in without clogging pores or skin irritation. Super affordable and will make sure your tattoo maintains vibrancy through the healing period!! VICHY - Idéal Soleil Sport - Ultra-Light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60 sunscreen is super important if you want your tattoos to last you forever ♡ Love this one as it isn’t drying and doesn’t affect the colour. Doing your research before hand and going to a reputable artist who follows all safety & sanitary requirements is SO important. Follow your province/state’s rules and regulations. Please make sure you do your part to make getting tattooed a responsible and safe experience ♡ Let me know if you have any suggestions!! These are just my current go-tos💘
Consistency is KEY babes !!! Here is my current morning routine! I am definitely not a professional, just a gal obsessed with skincare. I’m starting to see amazing changes in my skin after sticking to this routine. My main concerns are acne and scars. Order is as follows: cocokind - Turmeric Spot Treatment I use this as a mask when I wake up and am making my coffee. I find it really helps to calm down any redness/irritation and fades dark spots. Avène - Cleanance Cleansing Gel for face and body I only use the tiniest bit in the AM to remove residue from the turmeric stick as it’s quite oily and bright yellow lol. I’ve used this cleanser for so long and it always leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling dry or tight. HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray after I pat my face dry I spray this on. It’s got a suuuper strong scent which I don’t love but it is perfume free🤷♀️ The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 while my skin is still damp I pat this on!!! I would recommend patch testing this out first- I’ve heard from some people that this HA serum increases their breakouts but I haven’t had an issue. Not sure if I NEED this in my morning routine as the ordinary’s alpha arbutin has HA in it?! But my skin responds really well to added moisture. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I’ve started using these 2 products together to reduce breakouts and fade scars/dark spots and WOW, name a better duo I’ll wait🥺 For the first time in forever I have no active breakouts 👏 The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I’m honestly not sure how much this really does for me but it’s super affordable and makes me feel fab. You only need the tiniest bit and it will last you forever. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin we love Cerave in this household 👏👏👏 VICHY - Idéal Soleil Sport - Ultra-Light Refreshing Lotion SPF 60 SPF!!! Every👏day👏 This can be a little finicky and you need to make sure your other products are absorbed and your hands are clean and dry, as it has a tendency to pill 🥴 but I find it’s a really great spf for my skin and doesn’t break me out. All that being said, I am no expert and am always always always looking for ways to improve! Feel free to leave a comment 👇 Roast me to filth if you must 🤪 Thanks SO much💘
My favorite serums- Vitamin C edition
Vitamin C serums are hard. You need to find a good one thats stable, has good packaging to maintain the stability, and you have to be able to recognize when its oxidized. I’ve found some great vit c serums that you need to use up right away- and some that are a bit more stable. L-ascorbic acid is the most unstable form of vitamin c, and all of these serums contain that ingredient. Probably the best two in terms of stability are the VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules and NEOSTRATA - Vitamin C Concentrate as they are single use products encapsulated in a single use packet like a capsule (neostrata) or an ampoule (vichy). Technically, VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules is a two-use product as you’re supposed to use half an ampoule during the day and the other half at night, but thats still a good way to keep the product stable. These ahould be stored in the dark to maintain their stability as well. I have to say I favour the Neostrata one because of the texture. Its such a silky texture, it doesnt feel liquidy like the rest, which my oily skin lovesss. OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum has an opaque package so light wont be able to get through, keeping the product stable for longer. It is naturally orange/yellow due to the banana powder in the product to immediately brighten the skin, so its hard to tell if its oxidized, but with its type of packaging, and if you use it up right away (no rotation) you should be good. three ships - Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum is a natural product source of vitamin c. The l-ascorbic acid content is from the kakadu plum making this product more stable as the vit c source is a plant extract and not the unstable chemical itself. I do have a coupon code to allow you to save 20% on their products- Three Ships is an amazing natural skincare brand! Enter LEENA20 at checkout! Lastly, VIVIER - Radiance Serum has the most stable formula- wirh vitamin e and ferulic acid to help keep the vitamin c in its most stable form, and its stored in a black bottle, keeping light from penetrating. It comes out as a clear serum, so itll be easy to detect oxidization. If used up right away, you should be good too. #cheriepartner
AM ROUTINE - fall 2020
STEP 1 - CLEANSE YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Admittedly, I drank the kool-aid and bought this in the midst of a Hyram binge, but I get why people like this. It's non-stripping and has vitamins, which is semi-pointless but a nice added bonus for AM cleanse. The herbal, green juice-like fragrance is the best part; a total gimmick but i'm into it. Very nice, but not $36/bottle nice. STEP 2 - TONE PAULA'S CHOICE - RESIST Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner This niacinimide toner has it all - hyaluronic acid, peptides, reservatrol, willow bark, licorice root, and more. Watery texture, super soothing, plays well with any actives, a true unsung hero of Paula’s Choice! Perfect for daily use. STEP 3 - ESSENCE COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Bought this because I had seen snail mucin everywhere, but didn't really get it. After using this for a couple of months... I still don't get it. Too goopy for an essence, will only apply smoothly on a very damp face. Acceptable as base hydration right before serum, but one pump too many is too sticky to apply anything on top. Just replaced with NATURIUM - Alpha Arbutin Essence 1%! STEP 4 - SERUM VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules These are just as fun to open as they look! Ingredient list is tiny; 10% l-ascorbic + peptides and their mineral water. Texture is a huge plus: thin & watery, doesn’t slip off, absorbs quickly. Absolutely no stickiness, even if you have a heavy hand like me. Love the oxidation-safe packaging - they say there are two uses per ampoule, but I get three every time. ———————————— GHOST DEMOCRACY - Floodgate Hyaluronic Acid Serum This hyaluronic acid/niacinimide serum is a great formulation, non-irritating, and affordable. Texture was the only drawback; I found it sticky at times and hard to layer over, so it’s my last step before moisturizing which is fine. If you want a serum that you can use day and night, addresses multiple issues and will play well with other actives, this is it. STEP 5 - MOISTURIZE BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer I have never loved a moisturizer quite like this. Lightweight enough to use on my t-zone, but provides enough moisture to patches that can get extremely dry. Any stickiness from serums is gone afterwards. Beautiful soft gel texture; makes my skin feel super balanced. STEP 6 - SPF PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ The internet cannot shut up about this stuff, and I was pretty skeptical of how nice a sunscreen could actually be. Then I put it on and I am changed! No white cast whatsoever, applies unbelievably smooth without that slippery velvety dimethicone texture. Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, niacinimide, and centella asiatica make me excited to reapply; feels like a mid-day vitamin shot.
My favorite serums
Serums are my favorite step in my routine. It is the step that will deliver the most actives as they usually contain higher concentrations, and their texture is thinner, since they have more humectants and can penetrate the epidermis better. I like to use antioxidant serums to help neutralize free radicals, a vitamin C to brighten the skin and provide more antioxidants, an amazing hydrating serum to combat my slightly dehydrated skin, and an exfoliation serum, to combat my pores. I cant leave out a good vitamin c serum from my collection three ships - Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum is a new launch and has high quality natural ingredients. The main vitamin c source is kakadu plum, known for its asbcoric acid content- higher than that of oranges! It has a jelly texture and absorbs perfectly into the skin. It was love at first use with this. I actually have a coupon code that saves you 20%- LEENA20- just enter it at checkout! In this collection I also have my all-time favorite VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid abhydrating serum with 89% Vichy Thermal water and hyaluronic acid- a leading ingredient in hydration research. I love this serum for the benefits and the texture. It strengthens the skin barrier and is sooo light, its easily layered with another serum. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and silky. Two serums in this collection are antioxidant serums. VICHY - IDÉALIA SERUM and fresh - Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice Antioxidant Face Serum . I love both of these for different reasons. They both have great ingredients- blueberry and black tea in Idealia and a cocktail of citrus extracts in Fresh (and it smells delicious). I prefer the texture of the Idealia serum, it is lighter and absorbs better for me. I still dont mind the texture of Fresh, so it still gets a 5star- I honestly dont know which one I’d rather restock. Another serum I love is HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum exfoliating serum. I love getting my exfoliation from a serum because I find they work best that way. My pores have been amazing since using this. #cheriepartner
🧴simple skincare for normal/combination skin🧴
hi loves! this is my first post on cherie so i decided to share my daily routine for the past few weeks and how these products have changed my skin! note: i exfoliate once a week with either Avène - Gentle Scrub or ST. Ives - EVEN AND BRIGHT PINK LEMON AND MANDARIN ORANGE SCRUB depending on the texture of my skin. products in order of use: VICHY - Pureté Thermale Mineral Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin my experience: i like this product. it leaves my skin clean but not feeling tight. my only complaint is it struggles to take off waterproof makeup. overall, i would rate it 4 out of 5. disclaimer: it does have perfume in it! pixi - Glow Tonic To-Go Pads my experience: several people recommended this to me to help with enlargened and clogged pores, and i am so happy i bought it. i’ve noticed immediate results; my pores are visibly smaller and the bumps on my chin are shrinking. i haven’t experienced any severe irritation from it. i give it 5 out of 5 stars and will continue using it! disclaimer: it has AHAs in it so be careful if you have sensitive skin! VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid my experience: i have been sporadically using this serum for the past few months but only recently buckled down to daily use. the hyaluronic acid in this has made my skin brighter and more plump. it has no perfumes or oil and it makes your skin feel immediately hydrated with no residue. the product does exactly what it promises to, and subsequently i give it a 4 out of 5. pixi - Phenomenal Gel my experience: this moisturizer is nothing to write home about. i switched to this from POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream just for something new and i was advised to use it with the Glow Tonic. it is non-scented and leaves a slightly greasy residue. i have noticed no change in my skin since starting to use it. it isn’t a bad product, but it certainly isn’t anything special. if you have normal skin it may work as something to just throw on. i give it a 2 out of 5. JOUVIANCE - Restructiv Lash FX Lash & Brow Fortifying Serum + Primer my experience: i have had nearly invisible eyelashes for the better part of my life and have been actively seeking ways to grow my eyelashes and eyebrows without breaking the bank and found this. in two weeks of use, i have noticed subtle eyelash growth. the primer is applied with a spoolie and is dark enough to pass as mascara so i wear it alone. the serum is to be applied before bed with the thin brush included and you can hardly tell it’s there once it dries. so far i rate it 4 out of 5 but i am excited to see what results it may yield in a few more weeks! if anyone has any comments or recommendations they are SO welcome! i hope you enjoyed reading! -c

Neutrogena water gel moisturizer: does it work?
I saw this moisturizer everywhere decided to give it a try. I got the water gel because it’s recommended for oily skin but every skin type can use it. Here’s my opinion and experience so far: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer It has a scent, may be natural but there’s a smell to it so not too happy about that Gel consistency which is ideal for my skin type, but it’s pretty thick, it took a bit for my skin to absorb it, longer than my Cetaphil - Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 Unscented I used it after my retinols and felt a burning sensation which I hadn’t felt before while using them, nothing crazy and it didn’t really irritate my skin but not sure if there are some ingredients in both that don’t work well with each other. I use The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalanefor my eye area and The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalanefor the rest of my face claims to be non-comedogenic but has a few comedogenic ingredients such as dimethicone Overall it’s a nice product but honestly I feel like I could get a much better k-beauty product with more benefits for the same price. I will finish it probably but won’t repurchase.
HYDRO BOOST GEL/WATER CREAM
So the only reason why I bought this recently is because I needed a water based serum to use with my Lux skin led light device. I was surprised how pricey it was, I wasn’t expecting it. The packaging is super cute. I really like the texture as well. It absorbs VERY quickly, I have to apply it multiple times because it sinks into my skin so quickly. It’s actually made me skin feel amazing. If you have any type of EMS device or your looking for a water based gel moisturizer, definitely give this a shot :) they are having a sale right now on their website. ❤️ Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer WHAT IS IT? A water gel-cream formula absorbs quickly, like a gel, but has the long-lasting moisturizing power of a cream to quench your extra-dry skin’s thirst. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, a hydrator found naturally in the skin, that attracts moisture and locks it in. This rich gel relieves intense dryness to help restore skin's natural barrier against moisture loss. Plus it’s fragrance, dye and oil-free, and can be worn alone or under makeup. BENEFITS * Non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) * Fragrance-free * Dye-free * Wearable under makeup * Olive Extract * Strengthening, moisturizing and nutrient-rich * Helps skin's moisture barrier against moisture loss INGREDIENTS Water, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Polyacrylamide, Sorbitan Olivate, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone/vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Synthetic Beeswax, C13-14 isoparafin, Dimethiconol, Carbomer, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Chlorphenesin, Laureth-7, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, C12-14 pareth-12, Sodium Hydroxid
hi hi hi!
I have combo sensitive skin (with a bit of mild rosacea). I’m so excited to get more skin recs from this community! The Skincare world can be so daunting. My current nighttime routine is: 🌙 SheaMoisture - Skin Rescue Cream Cleanser 🌙 HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizer 🌙 MAELOVE - NIA 10 Calming Serum 🌙 Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Serum 🌙 Aveeno - Positively Radiant Night Cream But I’m currently looking for a new night cream as I’ve run out of my Aveeno & I’m not just in love with either of the serums I’m using. Twice a week I use ANDALOU NATURALS - Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask and I am in LOVE with the way it smells. I also try to do a hydrating sheet mask, like TRADER JOE'S - Rich Hydrating Face Sheet Mask Set once a week to help out with any dryness.

💖UNDER $35💖 Life Changing Products For Sensitive Skin!
To begin, I have incredibly sensitive skin and I am always hunting for products to moisturize, calm/comfort irritated skin, relieve redness, and strengthen & replenish the skin's moisture barrier. I started to use First Aid Beauty after hearing several people rave about how soothing this is to the skin and it is known as the drugstore alternative of La Mer. 💖💖 I've tried FAB's cream, masks and facial pads and I came to the conclusion: The brand is REALLY suitable for emergency repair of the skin. If you have sensitive skin like me, TRY IT! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration- $34.00 for 6 oz This white gel-like repair cream can quickly soothe and calm the skin, making it a savior for dry-sensitive skin. My face always stings, itches, and becomes red during the change in seasons, but after using this ultra repair cream, my skin condition has significantly improved. It's incredibly hydrating and moisturizing as well. It really lives up to it's namesake as an "ultra repair" . It works better after it's emulsified. Add three drops of essential oil to a fingernail-sized amount of the repair cream, rub it between your palms, and massage it onto your face for better absorption. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Ginger & Turmeric Vitamin C Jelly Mask - $32 for 118ml It has a cool, jelly-like texture which doesn't irritate your skin. It's really cooling and comfortable on the skin and my skin feels smooth after using it. It's moisturizing and is suitable for dehydrated skin, allergy flares, and for skin repair after sun exposure. It's suitable for all skin types and also helps to improve uneven skin tone and other skin issues if you use it long-term. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads- $34.00 for 5.7cm These radiance pads can be used as a toner. Apply them evenly to the face after cleansing or apply to areas of acne. The pads contain fruit acid which helps in removing acne and acne marks. Other than being quite affordable-nearly everything in the line rings in at under $50, these products really work well on sensitive skin and left it feeling ultra-smooth. Have you tried this brand before? Let me know 🥰

Who doesnt love roses 🥀??
Who doesnt love roses 🥀?? Not only do roses smell nice, but rose extract is great for your skin too! With antibacterial, antioxidant and astringent properties, and so many formulas to choose from, you can find the best fit for you! Its great as a toner, pictured here as the fresh rose toner and rose water (the one in the pretty tea cup 😇) to create a soft, calmed base. Its calming properties help redness, which means good for rosacea, which you’ll definitely find effective in the fresh rose mask! It will also keep you hydrated since it helps prevent trans-epidermal water loss (water diffusing through the skin and into the atmosphere 😒) . .

K Beauty moisturizer!
LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream This is the Laniege water bank moisture cream! It’s marketed as a hydrating and moisturizing cream. It’s target concerns are dryness, dullness, and dehydrated skin. It has more of a creamy but watery texture, like a little more creamy than tatchas water cream. I decided to try it out because I get really dry skin in the winter and I wanted to see if this helped. I have used this in conjunction with water sleeping mask last winter and now this year and I’m obsessed. It does exactly what it says and leaves my skin free of dryness. It never breaks my acne prone skin out and I think the extra hydration has actually helped my acne. The full size is more expensive but I’d recommend trying out a sample size to see if you like it especially if you only want to use it in the dryer months. Highly recommend this product because it really delivers hydrated and soft skin!

Clean Skincare Routine with Bliss🍊
I’ve been using this skincare combo over the course of a few weeks and I must say it works quite well on my sensitive skin. Here’s a breakdown of the products shown above: Products used: bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Cleanser $13 - This is a gentle foaming cleanser for sensitive skin and didn’t irritate my skin whatsoever. No stinging or excessive dryness afterwards. bliss - Pumpkin Powerhouse Resurfacing & Exfoliating Enzyme Mask $15 - This mask is infused with a 10% skin smoothing pumpkin blend of natural AHA’s which gently exfoliated my skin. The pumpkin smell is pretty pungent but my skin was so smooth after I rinsed this bad boy off. bliss - Bright Idea Serum Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Serum $27 - it’s safe to say anything with vitamin C becomes my bff. Over the course of two weeks my skin began to look brighter but most importantly my dark spots slowly began to fade. bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Moisturizer $21 - This is a gentle moisture cream that applied thick but melted into my skin as I began to rub it in. Very suitable for sensitive skin. bliss - Lemon & Sage Body Butter $5 - I gave this body butter a 3 mainly because of the added in fragrance. It does smell amazing but I have eczema prone skin and I am always skeptical to putting fragrances on my body. Overall, the vitamin C serum is definitely my fav since it helps combat these stubborn dark marks and the gentle moisture cream is a close second. This skincare combo has had me feeling refreshed all throughout my zoom meetings😌
