Need Curl Help?!
Have you struggled to find the perfect products for your curly hair routine? Well look no further, I have the answer- Miss Jessie’s! Miss Jessie’s has a wide variety of hair products that cater to all natural hair types! Whether you have beach waves to a thicker grade of hair this brand has you covered! The two products in my picture show the end result after using both products in the photo. I have tried dozens of hair products and these buy far, since transitioning to natural hair, have been my favorite go to products to use. Both products give you the hold you need while not leaving hair in a hard “crunchy” state. Your hair will feel light and fluffy! The Leave-in Condish is not thick in texture but i wouldn’t say it’s light weight either. I would say it’s the perfect weight for the desired wash and go look you are trying to achieve. The smell is also very nice. It’s a fresh smell that both men and women can use. The Pillow Soft Curls cream is AMAZING! I’m seriously obsessed with this product! It’s a cream product that pairs perfectly with the condition to provide and amazing wash n go look! This cream based product is not thick at all and definitely helps to define your curl pattern! The product has a GREAT smell! Smells like fresh linen and leaves your hair smelling fresh and clean throughout the whole day! So if you ask me what my go to products are for perfectly defined pillow soft bouncy curls, the answer is MISS JESSIES!!!! I hope my review is helpful for you! Disclaimer- my hair type is 3b/3c ish and these products work perfectly on my hair type, however, there are a wide variety of products that this brand offers. If you have a different hair type I’d recommend trying other products from the brand as well until you find the one that works best for your hair because I will say products results do vary from hair type to hair type. *Remember- Patience is key when finding the best hair products! #Cheriecreator #beautywithoutbarriers Miss Jessie's - Pillow Soft Curls

My Bunny & Her Hair 🐰
We call her Bunny. Her name is Heather Olivia. She is almost 5 years old. I was a mother long before she came along. A mother to 3 boys which, at the time of her birth, made me feel unqualified for the job of raising a girl. The youngest girl in my family at the time was 18 years old so I did not have much experience with girls since there were so many males in my family. Over time, this irrational feeling of not measuring up went away and I am now confident in my mothering of a young African American female. There was only one issue I had a problem tackling - her hair! I didn’t know much about doing a girls hair and I couldn’t just take her to a barber like my boys. So, I started out by doing what I did to my hair when I started my natural hair care journey. I even used the same products and she still uses these products to this very day! I searched YouTube videos and learned so much from them. I practiced on her and now I think I’ve got it! Now, she loves when I do her hair and I’m more comfortable doing it. Today I had to do some finger coils on her hair and she absolutely loved it. I even let her pick out her headband! Here is the list of products used during her normal regimen and today: Mane‘n Tail - Deep Moisturizing Shampooand SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Rinse-Out Conditionerwere used for washing her hair. cantu - Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream and SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus, Kids Curling Butter Creamwere used on her hair as leave ins. Hot Six Oil, SheaMoisture - 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, ECOCO - Eco Style Olive Oil GelandMiss Jessie's - Pillow Soft Curlswere used to seal in moisture as well as for styling her amazingly curly 3C/4A hair.
🌀 drugstore curly hair care - miss Jessie’s 🌀
🌀 miss Jessie’s is one of the best drugstore hair care brands for natural & textured hair. I became a fan of their products when I did a big chop and got very into learning how to care for my naturally curly hair 🌀 Miss Jessie's - Jelly Soft Curls was perfect for those days when I wanted to really enhance my curl pattern with a gel, especially in the beginning when my hair was much shorter and the curls were more unruly. The reason this one is great is because it shaped my curls without any crunch or flaking. 🌀Miss Jessie's - Pillow Soft Curls was great when my hair was longer and I needed a cream to not only smooth and style my curls, but also add some weight to keep my curls down and frizz free. 🌀both of these products have fragrance, to me they smell like fabric softener which I love but I know it’s not for everyone. #cheriepartner

My favorite hair style for my square/heart face
Hey guys! I am so excited to share with you how I achieve my favorite hairstyle for my face shape. Please note I’ll be adding tips for every hair texture, but I personally have naturally curly hair that is thick and dry. Here’s how I achieve my voluminous, bouncy curl look: 1. Wash your hair. Today I co-washed my hair (who can relate???) with the new Briogeo Kiwi mask, which is such a great moisturizer for my dry curls! Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask 2. Grab a frizz control gel if you’re naturally curly, or a curl gel if you’re not! I personally use a combination product—“curvaceous frizz gel for spirals” by Redken. The brand doesn’t matter as much but this is a fabulous gel! REDKEN - Curvaceous Ringlet it causes NO CRUNCHY CURLS!!! 3. Finger comb the product through your hair. If you don’t have a lot of hair or your hair is thin, only use 1/2 of a pump or 1 pump. If you’ve got a lot of hair or your hair is thick, use 1-2 pumps. If you feel like it’s making your hair too sticky then wet your hands and finger comb back through your hair until it feels right. 4. If you’re naturally curly, you can use a reverse-claw-arcade-game motion with your hands from the ends of your hair up to your scalp, in a “scrunching” motion. If you’re not naturally curly, you can scrunch your hair up and either pin in up or clip it up. 5. You can blow dry your hair or let it air dry if you have time. I recommend letting it air dry to control frizz even more! My hair takes about 7-10 hours to fully air dry. 6. MARVEL AT YOUR BEAUTIFUL CURLS, YOU GORGEOUS CREATURE! 7. From here, you can style it even more, like pinning certain sections back or you can leave it as is. My favorite thing about this style is by using the curl gel, your curls can last TIL THE NEXT DAY! Do you like wearing your hair curly or straight better?

Amika is such a cool company. Their price point is low, so it’s accessible to everyone. They are paraben, sulfate, gluten, phthalate, mineral oil and petroleum free. I love their shampoos and conditioners. This balm is, well, the bomb. It is heavy enough to calm unruly hair, but isn’t greasy, oily or sticky. It works great as a blow dry lotion, or a finishing cream. I have used it on my wavy hair to air dry on days that I want my curls a bit looser. I would use it on short hairstyles for people who don’t want much hold but need a bit of control so their hair doesn’t flyaway or frizz. I don’t live in a humid climate but this would be great to use in humidity to calm the hair. I know I turn into a poodle whenever I go somewhere humid and this would be perfect to help with that. I also love Amika’s curl cream amika: - Curl Corps Defining Cream and use that if I want my curls to have a little more oomph! Amika you so fine! #cheriecreator

5 Best Hacks Saved My Curly Hair💖💖💖
I have curly hair. That is not an easy thing for me. I used a lot of hair products including masks and conditioners, but my hair is still frizzy. I will share several things I have learned through my experience dealing with my hair. I hope this can be helpful if you have curly hair as well. Figure out your curl Porosity Your curl porosity is your hair’s ability to absorb moisture. Curls with low porosity require lightweight products and heat treatments, while curls with high porosity need butters, oils, and proteins to keep them moisturized and healthy. So you need to know your curl porosity before you decide what hair treatment you need. Use a curl-specific detangling brush. Hair is fragile when it is wet. It's so easy to break and tangle. That's why you need a nice brush! I highly recommend you try a detanglish brush especially for your coils. A nice brush actually makes a difference. Apply your conditioner to DRY hair, not wet. Using condition on dry hair helps maximize its potency. If your strands are saturated with water, they can't absorb much hair conditioner. So you should use your conditoner before you step into the shower. Skip the shampoo and co-wash instead. If your curls are really dry, skip the shampoo completely. Wash your hair with only conditioner or those with a co-wash formula. Co-wash your curls once a week or as often as needed to keep your hair moisturized without drying it out. Comb your curls when they’re sopping wet. Comb your hair when you are in the shower! Don't wait till it's dry. You want your curls to clump together and dry in natural pattern. If you comb them when they are dry, it doesn't work that way. I hope this is helpful to you. If you want to know more, let me know.
A Quick & Voluminous Wash & Go!
Yes, you read that right a quick and voluminous wash and go. Are you the type of curly headed that hates to spend hours and hours waiting for your wash and go to dry and try to avoid diffusing? Do you also love volume? If you answered yes to either of these questions than this is for you. To get this wash and go I used only two products a leave-in conditioner and a curling cream. I used the Italy Linange leave-in conditioner which contains ginger and garlic. This leave-in conditioner leaves the hair super soft and provides my hair the moisture that the curling cream doesn’t give. I got this at my local beauty supply for 14.00 Pros: soft and moisturize hair Con: contains silicones The curling cream that I used for this wash and go was the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie. This cream gives my hair a lot of definition, volume and a very soft hold. I love to use this cream when I’m in a rush or don’t want to spend a lot doing my hair since a wash and go can be really long sometimes. Pros: soft and define curls Con: does not give enough moisture to use alone SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie linange - Ginger and Garlic Leave-in Conditioner

my curl routine 🧖🏻♀️
The tried and true products: PACIfICA - Pineapple Curls Curl Defining Conditioner I’ve been using this conditioner for over a year and it is the best thing that has EVER happened to my curls. I switched to the Herbal Essence curl conditioner for a short time and the results were definitely not the same. The smell is pretty nice as well, and it doesn’t make my hair feel greasy. it's a 10 haircare - Miracle Leave-In Product if this was less expensive it would be an absolute staple on my bathroom counter — the price is truly the only drawback. It smells like you’ve just come back from a salon, and leaves your hair frizz free and full of life. The travel size actually goes a long way for 1/3 of the price! The new stuff: SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie I like this product, the way it smells, and it’s ingredients but overall I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the life of my curls. But I’ve heard really good reviews of it before so I’m hoping it’ll do better with prolonged use! PACIfICA - Pineapple Curls Curl Defining Shampoo I love this stuff, but wouldn’t swear by it as much as the conditioner. I feel like overall it’s just another shampoo — but it definitely cleans my hair and doesn’t leave it greasy or anything like that. I just haven’t noticed much difference in my curls between this and the HE that I used to use.
