My Current Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes!
JacquieH25
I have probably hundreds of eyeshadow palettes so a palette has to really “wow” me to use it on a regular basis. I’ve gotten better about wasting money on products that I’m not going to get a lot of use out of, but palettes have always been my weakness. These six palettes are my top 6 for 2020!
First off, #6 goes to my VISEART - Solstice Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette

NATASHA DENONA - Bronze Eyeshadow Palette
I want to start this off and say, you don’t “need” this. This is a basic warm-toned eyeshadow palette that many people have 1000 times over. I bought this after getting rid of my ABH Modern Renaissance palette because it was 4 years old. I found myself missing those orange, warm-toned shades.
This palette is stunning, when I saw it come into store, and was able to see the tester in person, I knew I would get a ton of use out of this. I had never tried Natasha Denona’s formula before but WOW, the matte’s blend BEAUTIFULLY without any patchiness.
This palette it seems has two formulas of shimmer shades, and I think this is smart. True Copper, True Bronze and Silk all have this amazing, metallic formula, I put these on with my finger, and mostly when I’m going to go full glam. The other shimmer shades, Deep Dive, Rhodium, High Degree, Alloy, Gloaming, Palladium, and Bliss, are more of that true shimmer formula.
My go to look with this is to use Beach in my crease, then go in with either Suntan or Magma to darken everything up, and on a regular mascara day I will use Palladium, but when going full glam, I would go in with Silk!

2020 TOP 5 🥰
Hey Cherie Fam 🍒
I hope you’re all having a good day. I can’t believe 2020 is over in a few days! This year has been the wildest roller coaster.
My top 5 for 2020 are:
1️⃣ PRODUCT ✨
•This is a bit hard, but I guess I have to choose one. I would say I can’t live without my Drunk Elephant C-Firma and Framboos, but I’ve been loving those products since 2019. A new product I added to my skin care routine this year is Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliator. This was recommended by a friend and swore it made his pores disappear. I bit the bullet and I’m so glad I did. It made my pores much smaller and my skin more glowy
PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator
2️⃣ TREND ✨
•My favorite trend this year is niacinamide. Niacinamide reduces inflammation which may help ease redness from eczema, acne, and other inflammatory skin conditions. It also helps build keratin, a type of protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy. My sunscreen, which is Supergoop! - Glowscreen Sunscreen SPF 40has niacinamide and so does my cleanser. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser
I decided to purchase Paula’s Choice niacinamide booster and I have no regrets
3️⃣ MY BEST LOOK ✨
• I love colors and exploring, but I think my best look is a soft glam smokey eye. I used my Natasha Denona Glam palette here 🥰
4️⃣ FAVORITE CREATOR ON CHERIE ✨
• I have a couple. I love @emily_because we seem to be interested in the same make up style and same make up products. Too bad she doesn’t post here anymore 😢 come backkk!
• I love @@Jillianb1because she is also very talented and I love her content
• I also love @madisonnoonsbecause her content is versatile. She also posts about makeup and lifestyle.
• I have so many more such as @bealizbeauty@Malloryand@D.Bennettthere’s a lot of great creators on this platform and I’m glad I get to see so many talented people
5️⃣ SOMETHING I LEARNED
• Not beauty related, but something I learned is to cherish every moment and appreciate every little thing. I travel quite often and had so many travel plans for 2020. When the shelter in place hit, I was shattered because I cant travel and let alone go get brunch or bar hop with my friends. Even working from home is a bit disappointing because I am an extrovert and thrive off being social. However, I re-discovered my love for make up. Therefore, I was able to create looks and share it on this platform. I am able to spend time with family often and built a better bond and relationship with them. I live about an hour away from them and barely saw them so I’m thankful this gave me the opportunity to spend more time with them

Are These 26$ Lashes Worth it?
Recently I went to Ulta and picked out some quality lashes with the intent that I could get at least 30 wears out of a single pair. I typically get the 5 pack of the ARDELL - Cluster Wispies Demi Wispies and I usually get 2 wears out of each pair- so 10 wears total for around 12$ ($1.20/wear)
I picked up the BLINKING BEAUTÉ - Faux Mink Luxe Innovative Lashes for 26$. They have a cotton band that is extremely flexible which makes application so easy! They’re also light in weight and don’t give your eye lids that annoying heavy feeling. These are said to give you around 30 wears which would come out to around $0.87/wear. So cheap!! These are 1000% worth the cost, even if I only get 20 wears. I think I’ve officially converted to higher end lashes and will definitely be giving some other brands a try!!
**these are the “Brill” lashes and they would be perfect for people with smaller eyes- they’re also great for a more natural look since they’re not overwhelmingly long and just provide some volume at the base of the lashes.
What are your favorite high end lashes??

Bronze Palette 💫🤎
Isn’t this palette from Natasha Denona a real beauty?! Talk about Golden Hour in the form of an eyeshadow palette! I’ve been a huge fan of the ND formula for a few years now - the quality is always consistent, through & through. I’ve yet to purchase a palette from the brand and be disappointed, and this palette is no different!
I have brown eyes, and I’m a complete sucker for warm tone shades, so this palette was naturally screaming my name. Do I have these shades in other palettes? I’m sure I do. But the quality of ND’s formula is impeccable and unmatched. Usually in eyeshadow palettes you’ll find some shades out perform other shades in the palette. But I never experience this issue with ND palettes - I have always found all of her eyeshadows, despite the finish (matte, metallic, shimmer), to perform at a top notch level. The shadows are always pigmented, but never overly pigmented where you’re unable to blend them out or it becomes patchy. The shadows are soft enough where you can blend them out effortlessly without the excessive fall out. The price point for Natasha Denona products fall under the luxury category/ high end scale, but I personally think it’s 100% worth it. I rather spend the extra money and know that I’m getting a quality product, vs spend my money on multiple mediocre, underwhelming eyeshadow palettes that don’t perform well. Natasha Denona has also started releasing eyeshadow palettes that are scaled back in size to make them more affordable for a larger consumer audience. The brand was able to accomplish this without compromising the overall quality of the palettes. You still get the same beautiful packaging, and same beautiful formula, but in a more compact, smaller presentation vs their full size $120+ palettes!
Available now for $65 at Sephora or directly on Natasha Denona’s website!

Another TJMaxx PRIZE!!!
I found this beauty at the wonderful TJMaxx, which in my opinion is like a treasure chest for good make up finds! I wish I could tell you how much I spent...but it’s rubbed off. 😩 BUT it was less than 8$!
#Nicole Miller - Ultimate Matte & Shimmer- Caribbean Collection[products]#[FiveStars]
FULL DISCLAIMER ⚠️ I only swatched the lower two rows, in order, left to right. The top row blended in with my white arms...😳😁 but in my opinion they are GrEAT for soft base tones, blender shades and also to sculpt under your brow.
But as you can see there are MANY shimmer shades, in fact most of them are. Only 2 or 3 of them are matte including the top row.
I really like this palette, it has some really great colors for summer time. I personally like the darker blue green color and the matte orange shade the best out of the whole palette. They swatch well, blend well, and are build-able. Got soft and sheer or bold and colorful. This palette really has all you need to create an easy breezy look or more complex tropical chic look.
I fell in love 😍 with the look of the palette itself. With all the flowers 💐 and everything it’s just a stunning piece to have in my collection.
Another wonderful find! Thanks to the Maxx!! 🤗
Worth it?
#Vineyard Soirée - Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars]
Value $22
I received this item in my glam bag plus with IPSY.
I love the colors and they swatch nicely. Most stand out really well and they compliment each other well for multiple look options even though it is a small palette. I personally would not pay this much for only 6 colors, but I did not complain about getting them in my bag. The pigment glides on nicely and as you can see a few have a really nice shimmer. Yes a good product, a little pricey for quantity I feel.
Huda eyeshadow pallet
I am a natural girl at heart. I use probably the same four colors every single time I do my eyes. I stick to the neutral colors, the warmer the better 😜 So when I got this Huda pallet with one of my Ipsy boxes this fall I was head over heels in love with the colors. I’ve had fun playing with the warmer tones. This was my first Huda product I’ve ever used and I’ve gotta say I’m impressed. I don’t use a primer and find the colors still stay put all day. Very vibrant. Found that out quickly as only a little bit onto makeup brush adds a ton of color to my eye. If you’re into neutral/mauve colors, this is a great mini pallet for you! 🥰

Urban Decay with a Colourpop twist
Is it just me or UD’s naked heat palette is a little too monotonous? I attempted so many looks and it all seem to turn in to this one huge burnt orange/sienna glob. Don’t get me wrong, I love my naked heat but sometimes I feel like it just needs a pop from other palettes
I added Colourpop’s “Starstruck” shade from the Smoke Show palette in my inner lid and it definitely transformed! I love both of these palettes

🦁 love this lion king palette by sir john!
in honor of the release of the epic, gorgeous visual experience ‘black is king,’ i want to share this LUMINESS BEAUTY - Disney The Lion King Can't Wait To Be Queen Eyeshadow Palette . have you ever bought a palette so lovely that you don’t even want to use it? 😆 that’s the case with this one. sir john is beyoncé’s makeup artist, so the shades have solid pigmentation for deeper skin. i’ve used this a few times for evening looks, and the staying power has been good. i love the shimmer shades best - zazu (blue) and simba (copper) are my favorites. this was a limited edition product but i will probably play around with it a bit more this summer!
