NEW 🚨 Anti-Irritation CBD Lip Balm 🍃

Kosas partnered with a brand called Flora + Bast, which sources pure, unprocessed CBD products for skincare and wellness. Together, they made this lip balm. It gives you a lot of ingredients for the cost, and is great for dry, acne-prone skin. I would recommend it the most for people who do sports, or in Fall/Winter weather. 🌿 INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN 🌿
MAIN : Full Spectrum Cannabis Extract 50 mg
Full Spectrum cannabis is the unprocessed version of CBD. It keeps all it’s aspects and nutrients, including THC (but less than 0.03%, so it won’t make you high). Research shows that CBD reduces sebum production and soothes irritation- making it ideal to control acne and redness. Our bodies naturally produce a cannabinoid called anandamide- without it, you have dry, irritated skin. CBD naturally helps replenish that. 50mg is potent for a lip balm. Some balms have 10 mg, so this is definitely not cheating you on ingredients. For other parts of your skin, CBD recommendations can go as high as 350 mg to treat pain. So 50 mg is a good range for the thin, sensitive skin on your lips.
Hyalauronic Acid
A natural limp plumper that’s naturally derived from sugar- So it’s super unlikely to cause a reaction. We have HA naturally in our connective tissue. It keeps us lubricated, and it can bind ~1000 times its weight in water. What this means for your lips is that it’ll hold onto hydration, making them look plumper.
Konjac Root
This pairs perfectly with HA. It has glucomannan, which holds ~50 times its weight in water. It’s turns the balm texture into a gel, and is antimicrobial. Together with HA, they have a plumping, anti-wrinkling effect.
Extra Ingredients
Boy this little balm is packed! Here’s just a few more moisturizers it contains: castor seed oil, jojoba esters , grape seed oil, avocado oil, mango seed butter, rice bran extract, etc. 💕 APPLICATION 💕 My lips are prone to flaking because of harsh acne medication. They also get easily red and irritated. This balm is advertised as creamy and soothing. When I apply it, it goes on thick- but doesn’t look thick. It has a natural-ish finish that leans glossy. It feels perfect for winter because it’s so creamy. And it feels a little minty- Which I found really relaxing. The product didn’t just sit on my lips- After hours, it felt like it had absorbed its moisture. The texture reminds me of theNeutrogena - Lip Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 15 ($2.99 for 0.15 oz). But that product has a much shorter ingredient, with castor oil as its main moisturizer. Kosas product ($20 for 0.17) is priced higher, but it’s worth it for all the extra ingredients you get. If you have sensitive lip concerns, this product is worth checking out. Its slim packaging makes it easy to slip into your bag, and it’ll keep chapping under control.

Glossier. - Balm Dotcom I have severely dry lips and I keep these on me AT ALL TIMES! In my car, gym bag, night stand, makeup bag, etc. My lips become extremely moisturized and supple after application. I never feel the need to reapply after several hours. I also love using this for my stubborn flyaways and to prep my lips before lipstick!✨ My skin is also sensitive, so I have to say that the birthday cake flavor has irritated my lips. There is glitter in the balm and it’s made my lips feel itchy and red. Other than that, I love every single flavor 🙌

I have been obsessing over mee
I have been obsessing over meet blume’s Meltdown Acne treatment! This spot treatment has been working so well at minimizing my breakouts and preventing new ones. It’s formulated with oils such as rosehip, tamanu, jojoba, & tea tree that work to not only dry out blemishes, but also target the bacteria that starts them in the first place. The unique combination of oils also helps prevent scarring! I find this oil to be extremely comparable to Sunday Riley’s UFO oil, but it’s 1/3rd of the price and honestly works better in my opinion! To apply I just put one drop on my fingertip at the end of my evening routine and dab the oil onto any blemishes. Come the morning they are seriously reduced and less inflamed! This is definitely a staple in my nightly routine 💫

It’s da “balm” 💣

SKIN TYPE: Sensitive/Combo/Acne prone PRODUCT: Glossier Balm Dotcom Glossier. - Balm Dotcom I’ve tried every flavor in the line, and I’d have to say these 4 are my favorites: rose, coconut, birthday cake, and mango. I have perpetually chapped lips, so lip balms are a MUST for me. The balm dotcoms have a great thick consistency that doesn’t feel cloying or sticky and leave my lips feeling supple and moisturized. I’ve used them as a lip mask but also always keep one in my bag for on the go application. While I’ve used it mostly as a lip balm, I can attest to it being a “universal balm.” I work in health care and my hands have been getting quite chapped from all the hand washing and sanitizing. Using balm dotcom to moisturize and protect the skin barrier on my hands has worked in a pinch! Love these babies and will def buy again!

#CheriePartner I can’t sing the praises of CeraVe - Healing Ointment enough! I love this balm. Its ingredient list is absolutely stacked with occlusives, emollients, humectants, ceramides, and vitamin e. It’s nourishing and manages to be both hydrating and moisturizing- a drug store gem for sure! For $20 I got a 12 oz tub of what I consider the most multi-use beauty/skincare/body care product in my home. Here are some ways I use this gloriously silky balm: • Pre-Concealer: Applying a thin layer of balm to my undereyes a few minutes before applying concealer keeps it from flaking, creasing, or looking too matte. • Target Dry Spots: A light hand with this balm is needed on the face! Scoop a tiny bit out, rubbing fingers together to let it warm. Then pat over areas prone to dryness- I even gently pat it over my entire face on nights I use tretinoin if my skin has been dry that day! • Pickers, Protect Your Scabs: Picking is an unfortunate, but common, habit that can go along with having acne. Whenever I pick a blemish to bleeding, I make sure to use a peptide serum and this balm, applying a very thin layer over the scab. By morning, it’s far less red and aggravated! • Ashy Knee Fix: I have really dry joints, so I keep a tube of balm with me anytime I’m wearing shorts or a dress. I can spot-treat my joints specifically, but usually I just let a small amount melt in my palm then rub my legs and knees. It leaves my skin so soft and moisturized: shiny but not greasy! • Split End Treatment: It’s been hard not going to a hairdresser, with the current state of the world and all. The tips of my hair aren’t in horrible shape, but they’ve definitely been better, so I’ve been making sure to add a layer of balm to the tips of my hair when I do my weekly hair mask- it seems to really help the hair mask soak in while still rinsing out well. • Miscellaneous: Rub it on your cuticles to help keep your fingers looking lovely. Use it mixed into a hand cream, so long as you give it a bit extra time to soak in before grabbing your phone! Rub a small amount on ears before moving up a gauge/mm. Use it as a lip balm. I can’t emphasize enough that this is the ultimate moisturizing product for me, for my entire body 🙌🏽

⛱ Smells like vanilla, feels like butter.
⛱ Smells like vanilla, feels like butter. Say hello 👋 to Summer Fridays newest launch, Lip Butter Balm! My amazing & sweet friend, Meshaal @radiant_radiologist, surprised me w/ this cutie pie and I'm so glad I get to try it! It's like a balm + mask hybrid that's packed with shea and murumuru butters and vegan waxes. The formula is so silky smooth and not sticky at all, which I love! It literally feels like butter on my lips. And it also has the most subtle hint of sweet vanilla scent that takes my senses away to a beach on a hot, sunny, "Summer Friday" afternoon. The only (very minor) downside of this was when I first twisted the cap off, a big glob of product came pushing through and I had to try to squeeze it back in (because 💸💸 you know? lol). So now my brand new tube looks like it's been well loved for a long while. 😅 It adds character, I suppose, lol. Anyways, thanks again, Meshaal!! She's also the one who gifted me that R+R mask in the bg! 👀 Spoling me rotten, I tell you! 😍🥰
