The Best and Mehs of Too Faced
I am unashamed to love kitschy packaging. So over the years, Too Faced definitely drew me in. Most of their products have been wins for me, but I did find one dud + a trend. Too Faced - Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette

Biggest Let Down 😭💗
This mascara used to be everything!!! My lashes were so long when I used this product I stopped curling them because they would hit my brows! But a while back I noticed the formula of this product changed and I was less than impressed 😫 My lashes would clump, they weren’t as long, the formula was thick, and the product had an odd smell. I though I might’ve just had a bad batch but all of the tubes I got were like this! I’m so sad because this used to be my go to... but now I wouldn’t waste my money on it! Has anyone else noticed this change??
Makeup Products for a Natural Look
On days when I’m going for a natural look (most days) these are the products I reach for and use in combination. Together these create a complete natural look! the Balm cosmetics - Balm Springs -- Blush This blush is a beautiful color and is very pigmented. I’ve never found a brush that lasts all day on me, but this does have good staying power. If you are looking for a good blush I suggest this one. L'ORÉAL - Age Perfect Radiant Concealer My under-eyes are so sensitive that a lot of concealers cause them to burn and flake. This concealer has never bothered my skin which is really hard to find! I recommend trying it no matter what age you are. WINKY LUX - Strobing Balm Highlighter I use this product as a cream eyeshadow and I love it! You can use a tiny bit and make it look super natural and glowy or you can use more and combine it with other shadows to make a glamorous eye look. I love how versatile it is! Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara This mascara is a classic and a cult favorite. For good reason, too! It makes my eyelashes look amazing. It is definitely a mascara for volume so if you prefer lengthening mascaras this probably isn’t for you. There are great drugstore alternatives for this mascara, but this is what I have been using. If you have tried these products or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!

My Go To Products for Daily Makeup
I have loved this basic but beautiful makeup look since I started doing it three years ago. So I wanted to share how I apply it + why I love these products (witth the best for last). PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Super BB All-In-1 Beauty Balm Cream SPF 30 I can't tell you how many times people have complimented my skin with this base. It has never made me look oily, only glowing. And that's with me not applying powder to set it. e.l.f. - Beautifully Bare Blush (Shade: Rose Royalty) Mixes perfectly with the BB cream. I apply a little to my fingers and rub it along my cheeks, nose, and a little in the under eyes. It creates a healthy flush without adding texture. NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow Looking for a glossy highlighter? This is it. What I love about this shade is that it looks gold in person, but rosy in some lights. That helps it blend into the blush seamlessly. L'Oreal Lipstick in Toasted Almond: A classic nude, soft pink. Basically your lips but better. Alternatively, NYX - Soft Matte Metallic Lip Cream in London also completes this look. CLINIQUE - FIT Workout 24-Hour Mascara This is a tubing mascara, which is perfect if you have oily eyelids like me. This mascara erased the problem I used to have of mascara bleeding into my lower lash. PÜR - Miracle Mist Hydrating Spray A hydrating spray that I use to set my makeup. Smells like tangerines, provides moisture. Too Faced - Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette As you can see from the picture, I adore this palette. I have used semi sweet to deepen my eyebrows every day, and gently buffed salted caramel all over my eyelid to make them look larger. These three simple techniques have taken my looks farther. 👩🎓 easy grad look tutorial!
If you just graduated, 🎉 congrats grad 🎉!!! If you just want to try this look, you’re welcome here too! Fun fact: this is actually my high school graduation gown. I graduated from university after, but I always liked my grad look. I did one simple thing to make it easy and cute~ 🌺 Complement your eyeshadow to your gown 🌺 I remember being nervous to do my own makeup for graduation. I felt like a makeup bby who didn’t know how to blend well. So I looked up what colors complemented my gown in color theory. And Peach 🍑 went great with green 🍃 So I used matte peach shadow to color block it with my gown. ⭐️ SHORT TUTORIAL ⭐️ *Skipping the base, brow, and primer steps since that’s different for everyone! Use your finger to pack the shadow pigment on your eyelid. Yes, use your (washed, clean lol) finger instead of a brush. It keeps more of the pigment in my experience, and builds faster. You can gently bring leftover pigment to your crease. At this point, it’ll look a little unblended. Now you can blend! Blend your shadow like normal. I used the tiniest amount of brown to deepen the crease and line the lower lid. But I made it subtle so the eyeliner could pop in the next step. Line your eyes (with an angled brush to help) I struggle to get liquid eyeliner crisp and thin. So I use an angle brush to help. When you do the feline flick, don’t complete it with the foam your liner comes with. Use an angle brush to drag it out before its completely dry. And lift your brush while you do it slowly to make it go thinner n thinner. Use the same highlighter for browbone and cheeks Since the shadow is matte, go for all the sparkles you want on this one! ✨ Using the same shade makes you finish and tie the look together faster. Use liquid lipstick, and blot it > applying from the tube Want something that lasts long but feels comfortable? Use your fav liquid lip formula and apply it to your finger. Then blot it on your lips evenly. It’ll make it more comfortable, softer, and still last for the ceremony. 🍑 PRODUCTS USED 🍑 URBAN DECAY - Game of Thrones Eyeshadow Palette I used the shade House Lannister as my centerpiece peach color. Then I used the brown, Nymeria to deepen the crease and lower lid. My highlight (cheeks + brow bone) was King’s Landing- A stunning green-toned gold with flecks of glitter. I don’t think the look would pull together as beautifully without that dramatic highlight. ALMAY - Almay Liquid Eyeliner in Brown This dries fast, but not so fast that you can’t tweak it. It’s one of the few liners that lasts on my oily eyelids, and it’s more flattering than black liner (imo) because it made the look softer. Too Faced - Melted Matte-Tallics Liquid Lipstick in Sell Out. A pink nude that’s deep enough to pop out in photographs. Comfortable enough to mix with gloss.
BEST matte lipstick!
Product: Too Faced matte liquid lipstick. It has a lightweight, long-wearing formula that glides on like lipgloss but dries to a matte finish. It comes with an angled applicator that allows for precise application. The formula is also infused with avocado oil and vitamin E to keep lips hydrated. My thoughts: I bought the shades Sell Out and Drop Dead Red and I am completely obsessed with both! They are so pigmented and look so good on! I don’t usually wear matte lipsticks but I heard great things about this lipstick so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how smoothly and evenly the lipstick applied. I was also pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the formula was extremely hydrating...even when the lipstick dried and became matte, it still kept my lips hydrated and not cracked like other matte lipsticks. It took about a minute for it to dry completely and there was little to no transfer. It lasted on my lips for the entire day and I only felt the need to reapply once throughout the day. Overall, I would recommend this lipstick to anyone who’s looking for the perfect hydrating matte lipstick.
My favourite eyeshadows
Here are three of my favourite eyeshadow products that I would like to recommend: 1.M.A.C Eye Shadow - Fashion’s Field Day This is a single pressed eyeshadow from M.A.C. I like this one because the colour is so special. Basically, it’s a beautiful pinky coral shade eyeshadow with a pearly finish, but it has a fine golden shimmer that creates a kind of frost eyeshadow look. It’s not that strong reflective and iridescent shimmer so it can still be very natural for day-to-day use. The texture is a little bit dry but acceptable and the pigmentation is good. It applies evenly on my eyelid and blends very well. 2.COLOURPOP Super Shock Shadow Ultra-Glitter - DGAF I would highly recommend this single eyeshadow if you are looking for a shimmer eyeshadow with glitters. I really love this unique bouncy texture of COLOURPOP. It’s so creamy, so soft and so smooth. Only one swipe is needed to deliver an intense pigmentation. The best tool to apply this eyeshadow is your fingers. And this shade DGAF is the best seller. It has warm-toned brown shade and with many golden glitters to create a multi-dimensional look. 3.CHANEL Multi-effect Quadra Eyeshadow - 268 This is my favourite eyeshadow palette of my whole collection. This palette has four shades that contain three shades of brown and a beautiful warm red shade, and all four shades are matte. The colour combination is exactly for a fall makeup look, and the warm red shade recalls me maple leaves. The texture is not that dry as many other matte eyeshadows especially the red one. The colour is buildable and well-blended on my eyelids.

FIRST POST ✨
Hello everyone! This is my first post so I thought I would introduce myself and give some background on my skincare/beauty journey! My name is Haley and I am 20 years old. I never really struggled with/or cared about my skin until I got into college and I was completely breaking out, and I figured I should stop putting my foundation on NOT using my fingers 😂. That being said, I have come a LONG way! This photo I tagged some basics that are staples in my makeup routine, both very good for the price and are amazing quality that I have yet to replace! e.l.f. - Lip Plumping Gloss AMAZING! This lip plumping gloss is truly the greatest. Quality is top notch for an even better price! I love how this gloss is not sticky and just makes me feel prettier with my lips all shimmery and plump. 😙 URBAN DECAY - Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette If you’re looking for a simple, long lasting, neutral travel size palette, this is for you! Truthfully, I use this for my eyebrows the most frequently and I have yet to find anything that works they way this does with a light brush of the shadow combined with eyebrow gel for a simple yet flattering eyebrow. 🤨 I will be posting the skincare reviews I have with some oldies but goodies, and some new purchases with my honest opinion! I am SO excited to post, because I hope it’ll help others. This app has already helped me so much and I look forward to interacting with some of you! 🤩

Stupid Colourpop decided to discontinue most of their single shadows which real fucked up my dupe game. And the lighting sucks. But I've been teasing these Venus XL dupes for weeks so I figured this was better than nothing. Out of the shades that I included Stay Golden, Note to Self, Soft Core and Slim Fit are no longer available. I'm going to buy a bunch of Coastal Scents eyeshadows to keep on hand for dupes because they've got a huge selection, they're affordable and they rarely get discontinued. For the most part, I think that the bottom set is closest but there's a few that are off and I want to keep hunting before I do swatches. Also here's a question for you... what's more important... similarity or price? For example the dark burgundy matte on the bottom row... I found two Inglot shadows are reasonably close (maybe 85-90% similar) but I think that Meanstreak from Melt would be even closer. However Melt singles are stupid expensive. Either way people bitch at me but I'm curious which you prefer. One last thing... if you like every color in the palette and you don't own anything similar, then by all means get the palette! Not only would it be more expensive to buy 18 single shadows, it would also be a pain in the ass. Dupes are for people who are only interested in a few shades and don't want to spend $60 on a palette.

Favs & Mehs ☁️ Anastasia Beverly Hills
ABH is one of the most popular brands on the market right now. They have great products, but there's a few 'mehs' in their, too. Below, you can read about the eye, lip and brow products I've tried. FAVS ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Subculture Eyeshadow Palette One of the most unique color schemes I've seeen. Some shimmer shades are duochrome, like Electric (which shifts to a pewter brown). It got controversy for being difficult to use, but it still produces gorgeous looks. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette My favorite product by ABH. All the colors have tiny, gorgeous, unique details. For example, Sultry just looks like a shimmery pink chocolate on first glance. But on application, you'll notice little blue sparkles in it. MEHS ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (Left Shade: Vintage) This gloss is very opaque and even. But I find it too thick! It has a tendency to layer up oddly as you move your lips through the day. That's not unusual for lipgloss, but I prefer mine to feel more balmy / oily without running. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (Bottom Shade: Girly) This has a clear base with a boom of sparkles. But I think it would be better as a lip topper than solo. It looks a bit odd and unnatural otherwise. Girly feels thinner than Vintage, but more grainy- Which is normal for glitter products. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil This his product actually lasts long, and looks natural. But it runs out so quickly so it's not worth the $23 cost. And I wasn't even using it to draw in my brows, only to add little hairs. 🌿 I might be being a little too critical on these products. The glosses, for example, do look gorgeous. But there's room for improvement and critique so you know what you're buying.

I would not trade this Nars Palette for anything
Today I want to talk about one of my favourite palettes and this is mini orgasm eyeshadow palette. But I would definitely not define it as an eyeshadow palette as you will see soon in my explanation of its wonderful multi use. Now let me give you an all-around review: · Why I bought this: of course, as a makeup enthusiast, I have always heard about the orgasm series from Nars, about its creamy texture and cute colors. But I wasn’t immediately attracted to any of its products before as I did by this mini palette. I saw it online, and I read that it was a limited edition. Then I was instantly sold. · What does it have: as you can see in the pictures, there are six shades featuring pinky, peachy colors with some metallic and shimmering shines in them. It is worth noting that as it is a travel-sized palette, the amount of every shade is 0.02 oz and the whole palette is 0.12 oz sold at $25 at Nars’s official website. · How I use it: besides being a comprehensive eyeshadow palette, there are two shades perfect for using on the cheeks. ■ Full-moon is the shade in the upper left corner and clearly it would be good to use as a highlighter color. This metallic pink powder is natural to apply on the cheekbone and around. It’s also buildable so you can use several layers to achieve an ideal result. ■ Seduced is the medium-dark coppery red shade with gold sparkles inside. It gets a dense and smooth texture which is easy to apply and then would stay on with minimized fallout and great adhesion. The shade is perfect for applying as a dampened blush to compliment your eye look. · My opinion on this product: I love this palette especially perfect for traveling: one mini palette that could be used in three ways and it’s also easy to carry. The texture is consistent and of great quality. I would recommend you to try it out and see if it’s also suitable for you.
