My PM to AM Routine (Sensitive Skin)
I have delicate skin, so it took me a few years to find the perfect routine. I tried many products before that made my face peel and burn. Through trial and error, I finally found the routine that soothes and moisturizes my skin. And the best part: It’s only 4 steps! 🌙 At night, I use the Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk. It’s soap-free, so doesn’t dry out my skin. Then, I take a raspberry-sized amount of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and apply it to my face and neck. It’s very gentle, and doesn’t burn even my sensitive under eye area. I finish with the Glossier Balm Dotcom on my lips. It’s made with lanolin, a thick moisturizer that makes your lips feel creamy. I keep it on overnight to seal my lips from dryness. ☀️ In the morning, I use the same cleanser to freshen my face again. Then, I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. I apply a dime-sized amount to my face, and it leaves a silky texture on my skin. I have been using these routine for over a year. Since then, I started getting compliments on how healthy my skin looks. 🖤 One more note: I do use one extra step in my skincare routine, but it’s a prescription acne cream. Since it’s prescribed, I can’t recommend it to everyone. But it’s harsh on my skin, and these other products don’t flare it up. To me, that’s another sign that they’re good for sensitive skin. If you have very gentle skin like me in need of some brightening, definitely check if your local Ulta or Sephora has trial sizes for these gems!

Current morning & night routine ☀️🌙
Hey beauties! I wanted to share my current skin routine for morning & night, since I've updated it with some new products that I'm enjoying and it's been working for me. Hope it works for you too! :) ☀️Morning: 1. I typically don't wash my face since all I did was sleep and I do this routine pretty soon after I wake up. So the first step is really to use almost a whole pump of OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum on my whole face 2. Then I use about a dime sized amount of myKiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream 3. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom goes on my lips - I prefer either fig, birthday, berry or coconut 4. Volia! That's easy :) 🌙Evening: 1. Cleanse my face in the shower using a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser 2. After my shower, I sometimes use my facial roller (it's SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Rollerand Idk what to rate it as since it's the only one I have) 3. Next is the serum - depending on what's the issue; if it's acne:Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector, redness and/or irritation: Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum, or just feels ok / needs a little something to smooth out or be more hydrated: TATCHA - The Dewy Serum Resurfacing and Plumping Treatment 4. If I want to use an eye cream, I go with the Ole Henriksen banana bright eye creme from this set: OLE HENRIKSEN - Let's Get Luminous Brightening Essentials Set it's a half size one and the set is only $40 5. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom again because it's hydrating enough for me (yes my lips do get dry since they're a little chapped when I wake up, but I don't think I necessarily need a lip mask) 6. Of course, the last step is a facial spray, and it's always my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spraybc I can't live without it. In case you're curious, the total price for my routine is $363!! (that includes all the products I mentioned) 🤯
Is this balm REALLY the balm.com?
This seems to be a cult classic on here so, I figured, being that I LOVE a good lip balm, I was so excited to try this! First off, the scent puts me to mind of my childhood- I’ll be honest, and much older- lip smackers vanilla buttercream lip gloss. It’s almost identical in shade- the iridescent sparkle- but the glossier balm is a much thicker consistency, and the smell is more subtle. I’m glad I tried it, and I will most definitely try other scents in the line! Glossier. - Balm Dotcom

My skin care, what will be refilled?
So this is my current skin care routine, but just the basics. This doesn't include my spf, my extra wrinkle fighters, exfoliates, spot treatment...you get the picture. This is the always auto reflex routine. So what is coming back after it becomes an empty? SOAP & GLORY - Peaches And Clean Deep Cleansing Milk Right out of the gate, absolutely, 100%. This is one of the only times I can say I LOVE a cleanser. Cleans my skin without stripping, and leaves me sour before I put another product on THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner At some point in my life, I'm likely to repurchase this product. Where it's witch hazel, it's a handy product to have. that said I have another toner on my radar, so we might be taking a break Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum Probably not. Not a bad product at all, I have reviewed it before, but it's not my favorite Vitamin C serum (also have done a review), and my favorite is actually cheaper...so... CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream REALLY tough call. Absolutely love the product, but Cerave is owned by L'oreal, and I'm having a hard time supporting a company that employs Amber Heard. I did an entire, long post about it, but it has magically disappeared. If Amber Heard were not working for them, in a heartbeat I would repurchase LA ROCHE-POSAY - HYDRAPHASE INTENSE HYALURONIC ACID EYE CREAM Same exact issue Rosebud Perfume Co. - Rosebud Salve in a Tube Yes, yes, always yes. I have bought this stuff over and over, and will continue to do so. I have also done a review on this product as well
New Product, Yay or Nay?
Whenever I post about a new skin care product, I will have used it for 2+ weeks. Skin takes a while to adapt to new products. I have been using this for 3 weeks now, so it's a fair review. Since my skin is super dry, often I find I either have to choose deep clean, or drying. Even using milk cleansers in the past, like this one. So I was pleased to discover I don't have to choose with this product. My face feels clean after I use it! Typically I use it with my Clarsonic, but more than once I forgot it when I took a shower, so I have used the cleanser without it as well. I love how.my skin feels after using it. I live in Canada and it costs about $18 here, but the amount of product you get for that much is impressive. I mistook it for a body lotion when I first saw it. If you have dry skin, ESPECIALLY this time of year, I highly recommend this cleanser *Stock photo

Soothing and brightening morning routine
I like to mix up my routine depending on what my skin is needing. This is what I call my soothing and brightening routine as I have a few brightening and deeply hydrating products in this routine. I like to keep my morning routine gentle and hydrating and I use most of my actives in my evening routines (vitamin C is the exception to the rule)! Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser This is my go to gentle and hydrating morning cleanser Pyunkang Yul - Essence Toner This is a very popular Korean essence founded out of a Medicinal clinic and focus on a minimal ingredient list. COSRX - Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule I love this light and soothing serum, my skin responses very well to bee products The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F This is a very effective vitamin c derivative serums. It has brightened my skin and there are none of the stinging side effect of full vitamin c. VERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream This is a gel/cream that is light with mild colour corrective properties Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 My go to moisturizer with spf for days I am mostly inside. I use a very liberal amount but I am never greasy. On days I have time (usually Saturday 😃) I like to double mask with: VERSED - PHOTOS, PLEASE BRIGHTENING TIGHTENING MASK This is a Kaolin clay and turmeric mask that I use on my forehead, nose and chin. It never dries me out and the antioxidant properties are great. And VERSED - LOOK ALIVE Hydrating Plumping Mask This gel mask is so hydrating on my cheeks!
My skin protecting morning routine
I am an avid skincare lover and I love trying out new products. I have dry and acne prone skin which means it has been lots of trial and error to find what works for my seemingly contradictory skin. This trial has led to my interest in skincare so I have developed several routines that work for me depending on the season, how my skin feels and my mood. This is one of my morning routines with products I have used extensively. I call this my hydrating and antioxidant routine and i use this routine year round. Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser This is my favourite morning cleanser as it doesn’t strip my skin. FRUDIA - Pomegranate Nutri-Moisturizing Toner this is a great toner/essence hybrid that is deeply moisturizing and it preps my skin for my next steps. The Ordinary - Argireline Solution 10% i have used several bottles and it is a light serum that helps reduce dynamic lines. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum this is a light cream antioxidant that makes my face feel so soft. VERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream I enjoy this light cream as it hydrated my eye area it has a tint and shimmer to lighten the appearance of the area. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 this has been my go to moisturizer/spf for days I am staying inside. Or On days that I do go out I wear a separate moisturizer and spf such as THE inkey LIST - Turmeric Brightening Moisturizer this is an antioxidant, brightening moisture though it can be thick PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid I love this sun screen as it is super light and spreadable

Favourite brands: Versed: this is a brand that I have tried many products and they have worked well for me. This is a drug store brand that is mid range. Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser I like the texture and the way it smells. Gentle on my face just not sure if it actually cleans my face. Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum haven’t seen much of a difference and I’m about half way done with my first bottle. It does leave my face smooth but does not last all day long. CLINIQUE - Redness Solutions with Probiotic Technology Daily Relief Cream I have been using this for a few years. I have been diagnosed with rosacea on my cheeks. I haven’t noticed a decrease in rosacea. I just use this moisturizer because I’m afraid to try anything else and experience a flair up. CLINIQUE - Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Cream thick/white consistency. Makes my t- zone kind of shiny. My face: I would say combination. Oily T-zone. Blackheads on my nose. Cheeks and chin on the drier side. Thinking the dryness is from the rosacea. Any ideas and comments would be greatly appreciated!

Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Moisturizer
The Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer is a SAVIOR for dry skin. I am really happy with how how well this is working for me. This moisturizer is vegan (clearly by the name) and fragrance free which is something I love. It’s meant to hydrate and nourish the skin. No actives in this, just a good moisturizing concoction. I will say, I was nervous it was going to cause serious breakouts when I first opened it because SHE THICC. This cream is sort of like a body butter in consistency. But after using it for weeks, no noticeable breakouts other than my usual stuff. In terms of what skin type, I would definitely say it’s geared toward super dry skin. It is extremely moisturizing and left my skin feeling soft after using it but not greasy at all. I don’t know if someone with oily skin would like how heavy this feels so if you are oily, I would say try a sample first. I also am a little nervous about the consistency going into summer. I am hoping it doesn’t melt off my face, but we shall see. For now, it leaves my skin feeling absolutely silky and amazing. I can use it both morning and night easily. It works well when mixing an oil into it as well. The packaging is cute too, but it doesn’t come with a scoop, so make sure you have your own if you plan on purchasing. Overall, this worked really well for me and I would recommend it to anyone with super dry skin looking to add some moisture back
Milk MAKEUP-Vegan Milk Moisturizer
drugstore moisturizer that can SAVE dry skin!!
Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream let’s talk smell. there is no smell whatsoever. It has no fragrance! it is a thick, white cream that spreads nicely over the skin and sinks in with a little bit of patting and facial massage! I am not familiar with a lot of the ingredients on here. Perhaps because this is a drugstore brand. But, this brand is recommended by several dermatologist for people with dry skin or just normal skin! and i understand why. It does a great job at achieving its goal—keeping the skin healthy and hydrated. But I also have acne prone skin. This product does nothing to treat that!! it helps me with my dryness but none of the ingredients in it are active and do anything to lighten dark spots as well. so my analysis is... dry skin—this will help. normal skin or just clear skin—this moisturizer will help you maintain it! sensitive skin— this will help soothe because of simple ingredients! it won’t irritate ur skin at all! oily/acne prone.... that’s not going to do much. PSA: i took this pic w my new lighting box I promise I didn’t take it off somewhere online! #cheriecreator

My skin started breaking out so bad, I had rashes and pimples all around my face. I went to the pharmacy and asked what’s the best for sensitive and dry skin. The lady from the pharmacy recommended these products to me. Ever since I’ve been using them my skin has been amazing!Simple - Kind to Skin Foaming Facial Cleanser Simple - Hydrating Light Moisturizer Pouch

💁♀️Lazy girl night time skincare routine
Would there be some days in a month when you are having a This is recommended when you have minimum makeup on. Cleansing is IMPORTANT! Do not try to skip this step. I remembered a few years ago when I didn’t pay much attentions to remove makeups and it caused terrible breakouts and acnes, and took me almost a year to get away from it. By minimum makeup here I mean you only put BB cream eyebrows and lips. Exclude heavy concealers, contours or eye makeups. Those request stronger removers and double cleaning for sure. Since it’s a lazy routine for skincare, I’m gonna make it into 2 steps. First step is proceing to cleaning. philosophy - Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser I super love this cleanser. It is a great one step cleanser that can removes the make up off completely and left my face with a soft touch and moisturized. Since we are already putting remover, cleanser and exfoliation into one step, I would normally use a cleansing tool - luna mini 3 along with this facial wash for a deeper cleaning. These two products are like the perfect combo. And since this luna mini is so small, it can actually fits different angles on the face especially the side of the nose. In addition, it is also travel friendly. You can carry it with you when you a travel for business ( I know is not durable at this time, but just prepare for future hah) Normally I would foam the cleanser up with bare hands and use the luna sonic facial cleanser to do circular rolling motions on the cheeks and forehead. This step generally removes the dirt, physical pollutant and dead skin on the surface of the skin. After that, I would take a wet sponge and remove the layer. This step also helps to double check if your this process is complete or need second cleaning. 2nd Step- Skincare Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Just apply one layer before going to bed. I would use this all in one moisturizer to apply a thin layer to the whole face and dab in to absorb. I would also apply some massage (if i have energy to do that) By doing this, it would keep my skin hydrated and calm it down. This cream contains ceramics, beta Glucan, hyaluric aside and other moisturizing agents and it gives my skin just enough hydration. These two steps helps me to do a cleaning and allows for hydration as well. Takes 10 minutes max. However, if you have time, still recommend to slow down and do a complete skincare routine use your lotions and serums.
