💖 Comparing two bestseller pink palettes

Two of the best pink palettes to come out of this decade are Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Soft Glam and the Huda Beauty New Nude palettes. But which one should you buy? After using both for a year, I would recommend each one for different reasons. 🌺 The ($65) New Nude palette’s best features are the sparkly shades like Daydream and Crave. I put them at the center of my eyelid to make them pop, and when the light hit, it looked like a pool of sparkles. We’re not talking about just shimmer. More like a collection of dazzling little pink and gold stars. The matte shades are a little dry, but you might like this if you have oily eyelids. They are buildable, though, so you can make soft or dramatic looks. I didn’t use the bold shades like Excite too much, but I did swatch them in my arm. I would recommend using the biggest glitters with the concealer that comes in the palette to make sure they adhere and stay eye safe! 🌸 Soft Glam’s best feature is how blendable it is. Unlike New Nude, Soft Glam packs a pigmented punch with one swatch. The eyeshadows are buttery to the touch, so someone who likes blending with their fingers might prefer this formula. This palette is more affordable at $42, and the colors have more variety. The pinks like Dusty Rose and Rose Pink were easy to blend, and Sultry (which has blue sparkles) makes for a sexy smoky eye. But if you want other colors, you can mix it with Cypress Umber or Bronze. There’s one catch with this soft formula: it’s easier to break. You can see the cracks in my palette. Still, I love it so much, I can’t throw it out! 🖤 So which one should you get? 🖤 If you like buttery, pigmented, pink AND nude shadows, get Soft Glam. If you want buildability, every shade of pink, and full glam, get New Nude. I picked up both, and I couldn’t be happier.

My Go-To eyeshadow palette!
#ad #cheriepartner #beautywithoutbarriers Hey everyone! I thought I’d talk a bit about my favourite eyeshadow palette! It’s the Anastasia Beverly Hills soft glam palette. It’s the one I use and recommend the most (and I own a lot of eyeshadow palettes 😂) I tend to do my signiture brown eyeshadow look constantly with the softer warmer toned colours. This palette is so versatile- you can create natural looks, wedding makeup looks, smokey looks and sultry looks all with this one palette. It definitely is a staple for your makeup collection! It’s got all the colours you need to do a pretty eye look with and go out to hit the town! I used to love the Anastasia Beverly Hills modern renaissance palette which is also amazing- but I find it has more brown tones and natural colours to work with. I also purchased the subculture palette but found this one didn’t quite work for me as the shades were much harder to blend and would almost go patchy (a lot of people have this one not so good reviews). The palette retails for $86NZD from my favourite makeup store- Mecca Maxima. It may seem a little pricey, but having one amazing eyeshadow palette is all you need! And despite having hundreds of products in my collection, I always tend to go for the same things that I’m comfortable and confident in using! All the shades are super pigmented and blend easily on the eyes. There’s 5 shimmer/metallic shades and 9 matte shades- the perfect combo that compliment each other well. The shades don’t go on patchy or stain the skin at all. Swatches even come off easily with a bit of warm water and hand soap! Eyeshadows that blend well and that go on in one swipe is a must if you want to create a beautiful makeup look that’ll wear all day. I love the packaging of the palette too- it’s simple but classy, isn’t too big or hunky so perfect for travel, it has a mirror inside which I use when I go away and it comes with a double sided makeup brush which is actually really good quality! I could achieve a whole eye makeup look with this brush alone. The shades I wear the most are ‘burnt orange’ for the crease (it’s the only shade I’ve hit pan on!) It’s the perfect tone for the crease and the lower lash line. Then I use ‘rustic’ in the outer corner and the far lower lash line. I use the shade ‘tempera’ on my brow bone and will put the shade ‘glistening’ in my inner corner. I will also use my finger to apply ‘bronze’ in the centre of my eyelids. Using your finger makes the shades go on more pigmented and appear brighter. Let me know if you like this palette or if you’re willing to give it a go! 😍 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette

Morphe Bronze!
Morphe Bronze!
☀️ this is one of my favorite palettes ever!! This is the Morphy 35G bronze palette. I purchased this pallete this last year when it came out at Ulta. I have been obsessed with it ever since! The quality of these shades are amazing. Most of the pans in this pallete are shimmer shades which I really enjoy. My only critique of this pallete is that there is only A few matte shades so I found myself pulling transition and matte shades from my other Morphe palletes and Then using the bronze shimmer shades on top. This pallet is super affordable just like the rest of the Morphe collection so I definitely recommend this to you! It is such a fun pallete to have on hand in the summer. Everything about this pallet reminds me of summer days. ☀️🌴

WORTH IT? $88 vs. $25
WORTH IT? $88 vs. $25
TOM FORD - Extreme Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Mink $88 I love this eyeshadow palette- but I must admit it’s overpriced! (I did get it at a discount at an outlet cosmetics store though!) The eyeshadow shades are definitely ones that I can wear anytime and customize for special occasions, but it’s no different to many of my other much less expensive eyeshadow palettes. NATASHA DENONA - Star Eyeshadow Palette $25 This mini eyeshadow palette is almost 1/4 of the price of Tom Ford’s and the quality is just as good! The shadows are more pigmented (can be a good or bad thing) and come in very similar shades + plus a duochrome one! The looks you can get from the Tom Ford palette, the Natasha Denona one can do similar. So is the Tom Ford Eye Quad worth it? I love it now that I have it, but no. You can get almost 4 of these mini palettes from Natasha Denona for the same price- and for the same, if not better, quality!

ABH Soft Glam Dupes!
Swipe lef
ABH Soft Glam Dupes! Swipe left for the names! Fyi there's a little guide with the brand names written out on the bottom corner of the 2nd photo. As always if you like this entire palette and you don't already own similar colors then by all means, get the palette! It would be more expensive and inconvenient to buy 14 single shadows. Dupes like these are beneficial for those who like a shade or two in a palette and can't justify spending $45 for a few colors. Also abh sells a bunch of these eyeshadows individually but they're $12.

ColourPop So Jaded palette
ColourPop So Jaded palette
I had been eyeing So Jaded since it came out, and I decided to pick it up during Black Friday for 30% off. I think at $39 the palette is very reasonably priced anyway, but at the sale price of $27.30 it was an absolute steal. Personally, I love jewel tones and I also subscribe to Kathleen's channel and enjoy her videos. ColourPop has great quality shadows and are very consistent, and this palette is no exception — every shadow I've used so far performed exactly as expected. I especially love that they included a Super Shock Shadow in this palette, and they created a really good one. Tap Diamond on top of any look you create with this palette, and it will give it the perfect amount of sparkle and shine. Did I need this palette? Honestly, no. I'm sure I have similar shades for a majority of the palette already in my collection. However, I do really enjoy the curation of colors in this palette, and it encouraged me to pair colors I may not have otherwise. There are also some standout shades that I didn't already have — Peridot, Aquamarine, and Sapphire in particular come to mind, and of course as a Super Shock Shadow, Diamond is hard to replicate.

The sweetest palette 🍬
The sweetest palette 🍬
Listen, I’m a sucker for everything Pony does and I bought this palette as soon as it came out, first because I love her and second because the color story and packaging are straight up my alley and I also happen to love Colourpop so 😛 This palette is so cute! The mattes are nice and pigmented, a bit powdery but that only means it’s easier for me to blend since I’m not that well versed on eyeshadow. The shimmers are gorgeous and the glitters are just glorious, these are not meant to be used on the immediate eye area but I still do lol I like to live dangerously like that. For $15 I think this is a wonderful palette, definitely recommend 🍬💗🍬💗 COLOURPOP - Candy button shadow palette

✨ Going for a different kind o
✨ Going for a different kind of Texture today ✨ ________________________________ Can we talk about how GORGEOUS The Nude palette from hudabeauty is?! I love that is has multiple textures and finishes! Matte, glitter, pearl, and metallic, as well as a concealer pan that can be used as an eyeshadow base or to cut the crease. To be honest, seeing photos of it online didn’t really interest me, but when I swatched it in store, I knew I had to have it! ________________________________ This is a gorgeous everyday palette for a nude-pinky look. The 4 pearlescent shades are so unique and simply stunning, they are truly the stars of this palette! Personally, I would have loved to see 3 more shadows instead of the pressed glitters and the concealer. I think the palette is lacking a deep shade - Love Bite just doesn’t always cut it when creating depth in the crease or as a lash line smudge. I find myself reaching for a deeper plum or chocolate from my collection to complete the look. And I think it could have used another pearl shade, because they are just so unique and beautiful! I would have also loved to see one more metallic, since there’s only one in the palette. Perhaps a mid-tone peachy gold. ________________________________
