Laneige Cream Skin Toner
Have you I tried LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer
Dec. 31, 2020
Today is my WISHTREND Black Friday box opening day! Can you imagine how excited 😛 I’m have been looking at the box for two weeks before I get it out of quarantine. The longest two weeks ever!!! I tried COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser and I'm from - Rice Toner today. I like both but I found my cheek a bit tight after the COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser it might be something to do with the low PH so I may not use it everyday. I'm from - Rice Toner is the best, so hydrating which reminds me of LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer I will keep trying.....
Laneige and Cosrx K-Brand Review
Finally used all these products for long enough to be able to give you guys my opinion on them! I ordered all of these from Nudie Glow- a Korean skincare site based in Australia! I bought the COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence to help repair my skin barrier after burning my face with BENZAC - Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel 🙃 and it soothed and calmed my skin within 2 days (I’ll do a post on saving my barrier soon). It’s consistency is sticky and goopy, pretty much exactly as you’d expect from snail mucin, but it dries down well and quickly. It’s fragrance free & the quantity of product is great. I used it in place of hyaluronic acid for a few weeks & did find that it wasn’t quite enough hydration, but teamed with HA it’s super plumping & sits under other products (and makeup) really well. The LANEIGE - Cream Skin Refiner I bought to replace my LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer . They seem to be the exact same product, all I could find online is that the Refiner is meant to be even more hydrating than the toner. I haven’t noticed too much of a difference between the two but my skin is still responding really well to this. I don’t use a cotton pad but just tap it directly onto my skin, it sinks in super fast and I’ve not had a single dry patch since using this. A repeat purchase for sure. I was a little disappointed by theCOSRX - Centella Blemish Cream . It smells amazing (kinda earthy/fresh) and I bought it to also help soothe my barrier repair, which it did do but in terms of reducing redness in blemishes it seems to have no effect. It’s a super thick, opaque cream that you’re meant to spot treat with but as I was finding it’s soothing properties the most effective I just apply a thin layer all over my cheeks before bed. It definitely can’t be worn in the day due to the heavy white cast it leaves. Finally the COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch have been really fun to use. I bought one sheet for $7AUD (but recently purchased another sheet on Amazon for $4AUD). It comes with a range of sizes, they’re all translucent circles. I would say they blend in quite well on fair skin, I even wore one to work once although someone did notice it eventually. They’re hydrocolloid patches meant to draw out impurities & offer a more hygienic alternative to popping pimples. They turn white over time on your skin which is the sign to take it off, but I did find that the patch would go white before having pulled anything out which did mean I wasted a couple thinking it was done. They are good at pulling white heads to the surface & keeping the spot protected from popping urges. They stay stuck on really well & have helped reduce scarring- although that could just be from preventing me from popping them, if you struggle with that I would highly recommend these! Let me know if you want more details! ✨
Perfect for hydration!
The Laneige Cream Skin Refiner was one product that lived up to it’s hype and expectations. It was definitely one of my skincare favourites/highlights for 2019. I’ve used it on and off all year round and each time I started using it again, I fell in love with it all over again 🥰 It was so effective for my combo and dehydrated skin. My skin immediately felt hydrated and supple. I was able to simplify my routine to only using 3-4 products.

ROSE FACIAL TONER! I’m in heaven ❤️
I have been using this product for roughly a month now and have seen incredible results. I started using this when I moved to NYC because the pollution can totally change the texture of your skin... and it did. I was recommended this product and I am in love! My skin has cleared up so much and is way more hydrated. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants a toner with sensitive skin! It’s light, very calming and good for every day use. My Cherie rating would be a 5/5.
Kylie Skin Vanilla Milk Toner
Oh Kylie Skin! This toner has a milky consistency... it’s a little bit thicker than a liquid toner so it’s very hydrating but if you use too much you may break out. I use it on cotton to avoid this! If you have dry skin, are starting off with skincare, are looking for an essence/toner or just want to try Kylie Skin.... this is a good option! It’s a basic hydrating toner... it won’t transform your skin but it will help to add some hydration. The ingredients are simple and pretty ordinary... this is basically squalane and glycerin so you’ll definitely get hydration... but aside from that I don’t think this will change the look of your skin. (I notice hydration + a nice base for my serums.) I’ve been using this on and off for about 4 months and I haven’t noticed a difference. This is $22 and I think it’s really great for the price point. I enjoy having it in my collection and using it when I reach for a toner. I think Kylie Skin has some good basics but it won’t target skincare issues or do the heavy lifting for your skincare routine! So if you want to try her line, keep that in mind! That being said, from her line I recommend the toner, moisturizer and cleanser! In my own routine I don’t reach for toners all too often but this is my most used in my collection! Tia’m Centella Face Calming Toner 🍃Description: A mild calming toner formulated with Centella Asiatica Extract to deliver soothing benefits and restore the look of the skin’s strenght and health. 🍃My Thought: I’ve been using this for few weeks now. At first, I thought it doesn’t really leave any big result. But, after some times I can see changes and really love it! It doesn’t has any scent which I really like a lot nowadays (nowadays I like my product to have no scent). The texture is light and watery. My first impression was it didn’t hydrate my skin. But then I started to layering it two or three times, and that’s when my perception about this toner has changed and I see big improvement on my skin. My skin feels hydrating, soothing, and supple. I love how it doesn’t feel heavy at all even after 3 layering. One layer around 3 drops. I super love this toner, and I use this daily, day and night because I love how it doesn’t feel heavy but hydrating and soothing. And it seems like it helps to absorb other skincare well when I applied them.
Centella Face Calming Toner
Toner for dry skin.
Laneige cream skin toner is a two-in-one toner+moisturizer that moisturizes and softens skin for maximum hydration and helps with dullness, dryness and uneven skin. It has a lightweight liquid texture (just like skim milk!). I freaking loveee this stuff! I was dying to try this when it first came out and I am so glad I was able to get my hands on it during the sephora summer bonus sale a few months ago. My dry skin loves it so much and drinks it all up upon application. I have especially been loving it in this winter because it preps my skin to apply my other skincare products every night very well. Since I have dry skin I still go in with a moisturizer after but you really don’t need to since this is enough hydrating by itself. I just do it because I try to be extra cautious with my winter skin and don’t want to mess it up haha. I would 100% recommend it to people! The price point is also reasonable in my opinion because you get 150ml for $33. Definitely try this product out if you have dry skin, trust me you won’t regret it!
