hi everyone ✨ for my first post on here i wanted to share some feedback on popular highlighters on the market right now! loves 💕💖💓 CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops (Moonlight): i was pleasantly surprised by this product! there was a lot of pigment to it and it spread very easily. just a warning, a little goes a long way and it isn’t as easy to get that small of an amount out of the dropper bottle! Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Moonlight): becca’s highlighter is a long-time fav of mine! i love the shade pearl because my skin is so light in the winter and it still pops! the moonlight is just as good, just a bit darker and good for a more natural look 🤍 the milk makeup highlighter was the worst of the batch, it took multiple applications to get near to the result i was looking for and by that time the pigment was too dark to make it look natural i actually really liked the nudestix one too! it just wasn’t as great as the others i had sampled the bareminerals and tarte highlighters left something to be desired, becca has perfected the powder application of highlighter but i felt like these products wouldn’t last as long on my skin benefit’s high beam was very dramatic and came in a liquid application. it would work best for special events but not great for everyday wear in my opinion! thanks for reading🥰 share your experiences with your favorite products in the comments!
Highlighters I’m loving at the moment ✨
These 4 highlighters are the ones I love using. They’re all super pretty and I usually apply them really light just to give me a slight glow. Floss. Highlighter in “sunlit”, I got this in my August allure beauty box. This is so soft and feels almost buttery but in powder form, so it’s not a cream. It’s a light champagne with ultra fine gold pearl, it’s super beautiful. I have cool undertones and at first I thought this wouldn’t work for me but it’s been one of my favorites. Available on floss website $20.00 floss. - floss Highlighter Seraphine botanicals daisy + pearl natural radiance booster. A very pretty natural highlight. It’s a light rose gold. I can use this as a slight shine or wet my brush and it can give me an intense color that highlights my face. Available on seraphine Botanicals for $22.00 SERAPHINE botanicals - Daisy + Pearl Natural Radiance Booster Winky lux strobing balm in “radiant pink”. This is really creamy. It’s a cute light pink color. It’s best to apply this with your fingers and gently pat on the cheeks. I also like using this as blush or eyeshadow. Available on winky lux site for $16.00 WINKY LUX - Strobing Balm Highlighter Tarte amazonian clay 12 hour highlighter in the shade “stunner” it’s a opalescent highlight. Has gold tones. This smells amazing, kinda like a subtle vanilla scent. Very beautiful and makes me feel super pretty. Available on tarte, Sephora and ulta for $29.00 tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour Highlighter
This is my quarantine look!

Late night look for pride month! I know it’s almost over but I thought I’d share anyway ~
Full Face Glam!!!
Friday night and I got glammed up!!! My go-to for a full glam is Fenty’s Glass Slipper (Clear) almost every weekend, I love the texture, the shine, and even the smell. I keep it with me wherever I go, and will buy at least two at a time. To add to the list, Fenty foundation, Anastasia contour kit (light- medium), Anastasia dip brow, and another classic fave is Benefits Ultra High Beam. I love a full glam look, but bare face is arguably becoming my fave. Makeup is so exciting because it’s a chance to be creative, but what I’m really looking forward to is taking care of the skin I’m in underneath it all. 🥺
⏰ A 5 min post dedicated to a 5 min face ⏰
My regular, usual, everyday face-done in probably 4 minutes 59 seconds 🙃 BUT WAIT 🤚 Before we even start, please for the love of all that is holy start by: -wash your face (duh) -moisturize/serum/etc -SPF (don’t mess around with sun damage) And back to those deets: 1️⃣ Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 2️⃣ SOAP BROWS with Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils& it Cosmetics - Brow Power Waterproof Perfector 3️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek 4️⃣ ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara 5️⃣ Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter And that’s it folks! Honestly though as I get older I get lazier on the whole makeup bit and more into the whole taking care of my skin but (see the note about SPF above). (& if you’re all like “🧼 SOAP BROW 🧼?!?” Don’t worry-that’s a story for another time)
Take These Products Away....Far Away From Me
TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer The product broke me out so badly. It was awful and I am not talking a little blemish here or there but huge blemishes on my cheek, chin and nose. Milk MAKEUP - Milk MAKEUP Highlighter I had two problems with this product: it didn’t deposit any color unless I scrubbed it against my cheek and it broke me out. No thanks. fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I know this is a Holy Grail product for many a magazine but I can only rec it if you enjoy washing your face with sandpaper. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi It did everything but LITERALLY set my face on fire. Red blotches and peeling skin galore. The opposite of a moisturizer in my book.

My Natural, Cream Highlight & Contour Routine💖✨
We’ve all seen the super high contrast liquid highlight and contour routines on the internet and although they look amazing in photos and video, they don’t look the most natural in person. I love a good contoured and highlighted look, but I think keeping it natural is most important to me. Here’s how I cream highlight & contour for a naturally sculpted look: 1) Apply your cream contour product to areas of your face where you’d naturally have a shadow I like it under my cheekbones, along the forehead, under the jawbone, and along the sides of my nose 2) Apply your cream highlight product to areas of your face you’d like to highlight I like it under my eyes to brighten and conceal darkness, and also along the bridge of my nose to brighten 3) Blend your cream contour first and then blend your highlight *I actually don’t find I need to apply any foundation or base product before this. Instead, I just use a concealer to do any pin-point concealing on spots I want to cover! One of my favorite contour creams: NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Glow in Terracotta Tan I wouldn’t recommend using a shade that’s super cool-toned (as most brands contour shades market it like). I find that a neutral tone looks the most natural and skin-like (something not too cool or too warm). This formula by Nudestix is so creamy on the skin but blendable and sets down. It’s super long lasting but is still undetectable and seamless looking on the skin. One of my favorite cream highlights: ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W I know this is just a concealer but why not “kill two birds with one stone” (that’s a horrible saying but idk how else to describe it!). When I highlight my face, I might as well also use a product that will add coverage and improve my complexion too? This creamy, medium-coverage concealer is beautiful on the skin and never looks dry or cakey. I use it almost everyday and it never fails me. Its very blendable and disappears into the skin while perfecting it.
An actual 10-minute makeup routine...
NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer Use this time spot conceal and it’s perfect for everyday. Never looks cakey - I blend it with a kabuki brush. I personally like my freckles and spots to show through; it looks natural. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel A little too pigmented for my liking — I could’ve gone with a lighter colour (but if you picked the right shade, I’m sure the pig ember wouldn’t be a problem). Hold isn’t the best; I prefer the Dior brow gel. NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Glow The best bronzer and blushes. Creamy to apply but last all day, and they’re matte to touch. Awesome. MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner Creamy and pigmented, and doesn’t fade too easily. That’s perfect for my oily eyelids. I’m wearing the matte chocolate shade. Also helpful that it comes with a sharpener attached. HOURGLASS - Caution Extreme Lash Mascara Testing this out and I’m liking it. I wish it gave my volume. This is perfect for the fluttery, natural look. FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Flawless. Not sticky, smells delicious, and great price. I’ll never buy another lip gloss. I’m wearing Fu$$y. I’ve tried Glass Slipper but I didn’t love the formulation of it as much as the glitter glosses. MAC - MAC Lip Pencil Creamy, stays on, great price. Would love to try some of their other shades.

👩💻WORK FROM HOME 🏡 BUT U STILL LATE ⏰
Hello ma cherie. I’ve missed you all! 🤪 I’m an office gal working from home in this pandemic. Most of my hours spent at work requires me to be in a zoom meeting at some point throughout the day. Just because I don’t have to physically be at the office doesn’t mean I stopped being a little late. 😏 Frazzled but do not fret. Everyone has their own zoom make up routine and I see you beautiful ladies! 👀 This here is my go to look. I did note down options here with foundation. I only put foundation on when I have blemishes to cover but if I’m good, I just skip it. Dealer’s choice! 🎲 OPTIONAL: HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 Ease on the primer after your skincare routine. 5 min. KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - True Portrait Medium Coverage Shake Foundation Shake well and dab your foundation brush and make spots all over. 8 min. beautyblender - Classic Makeup Sponge Pink Take your damp beauty blender sponge and BLEND it in you’re a real natural Pablo Picasso! 5 min. tarte - Tartist Double Take Eyeliner To create your wing, draw a line matching the same angle as the outer corner of your eye. As close as possible to your lash line draw the rest towards inner corner of the eye. 7 min. ZOOOOOOOMMMMM 👩💻 1. LORAC - LORAC PRO Palette Pretty pigmented but I’m not trying to look too extra so I pick nude colors. I use cream as base, taupe on my crease and blend. Takes like 2 mins. 2. NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer Creamy and rich! Highly buildable due to its full coverage. I use and dab lightly on my under eye. I also apply some on the bridge of my nose. Takes 1 min. 3. Charlotte Tilbury - Hollywood Contour Wand I’m a contour noob so this is a game changer. Easy application. Easy blending. Apply to parts on face that will possibly help make it slimmer since my face is super round. Takes 5 mins. 4. BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Dot on your nose and upper cheek or any other areas you want to highlight. Takes 1 min. 5. shu uemura - Hard Formula Just go over your brows. You don’t even need to create fine lines. This is ZOOM and you won’t be looking crystal clear on camera. Takes 3 mins. Swipe ➡️➡️➡️ to see the completed look!

Charlotte Tilbury’s Setting Powder Can’t Hang?
**I’ve only used this product once so this is my first impression of it I have been an admirer of Charlotte Tilbury’s products for quite some time now and have been dying to try its Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. As its name suggests, it has a reputation of making the skin look airbrushed and free of shine, which I need in my life. More deets about the powder: This breathable, micro-fine powder technology gives you an immaculate complexion that acts like a luxe, micro-fine cashmere veil on top of your skin for a bright, perfecting finish. Rose wax and almond oil hydrate the skin throughout the day and enable the powder to blend on flawlessly, while reducing shine. Nourishing actives work to soothe and restore skin, while light-reflecting ingredients diffuse light as it hits your face for a luminous complexion and even finish all day. The powder costs $45 which i think is a lot so I’ve always been hesitant to try - but I got as a gift for my bday and was so excited to try. I haven’t really found a powder that I truly liked or that has actually kept my makeup locked in/prevented shine. My review: The airbrushed effect is no joke. When I first applied it, I was in awe of how smooth and radiant my skin looked. But as the day progressed, my T-zone got a bit oily and I noticed the product had caked into some dry spots — also does anyone have suggestions for hydrating primers/how to not make my foundation/powder cakey? Since I started using prescription retinol it’s been so hard to figure out!! I have to keep using this product to see how I feel about it. I really want to love it. As anyone tried it?!

Hourglass 🆚🆚🆚 Colourpop
My first lighting product I bought was the HOURGLASS - Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder- Incandescent and it's suitable for beginners because of how natural the shade is. It looks good even if you just simply brush it on your face. Its delicate powder has a pink tone with a soft ivory shimmer that gives off a naturally luminescent highlight to the skin, creating a gentle and low-key look. You have to use a stiffer brush to apply this lighting powder. I also bought COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter- Flexitarian, which is an icy champagne shade. It found it too shimmery when I did arm swatches for it but it's actually very flattering when applied lightly on my face. It has a mash potato texture which makes it easier to apply using your fingers, and it's really cheap. Both are great but Hourglass Incandescent ($38.00 for 0.16 oz.) gives you a more natural and low-key look compared to ColourPop Flexitarian. However, those with a budget can buy the ColourPop highlighter as it is a good choice with a cheaper price tag ($8.00 for 0.15 oz) .
COLOURPOP- Super Shock Highlighter
I’m so sad this stick highlighter didn’t work for me, I usually really like stick highlighter since they’re so easy to use, but this one was kinda disappointing :( I love all the highlighter formulas Colourpop has to offer but this one didn’t wore well. It applies very nicely, looks like a nice sheen on the skin but after a few hours there just tiny glitter specs left and I personally don’t like glitter in my complexion products. I’m sticking to the super shock and powder highlighters myself 💔 COLOURPOP - Lite Stix
Vacation Glow in a Pan 🌞
If you want to look like you just stepped off the plane from a beach vacation, then this is the bronzer for you! The shade Radiant Bronze Light is perfect for medium to tan skin. It's glowy without being too much, giving the skin a beautiful golden glow along with the bronze. HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Bronzer

Product Empty! NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer Product Empty! The NARS radiant creamy concealer is one of the brand's best sellers, and I can see why! This concealer comes in two sizes, which is great when you want to try out something new that's very personal like a concealer is. I finished up the shade Affogato. The only problem I have with this concealer is that despite adding more shades, I can't get a great match. Affogato is a neutral / peachy color that falls between Chantilly (very very fair) and Vanilla (fair but quite pink). I wish NARS would add some more yellow/warm shades in the fair spectrum. This concealer performs well. It is medium to full coverage and definitely enough for the eye area. It blends out very nicely and isn't too cakey or heavy like some concealers are. As you can see there's a lot of product left in the tube that I'm not able to get out, so the design does leave a bit of product waste. Overall this retails $30 for the full size tube and $13 for the mini, and I give this 5/5 stars. I wish I could deduct half a star because of the poor shade range, but I won't. I'm happy to have emptied this and will add to my may repurchase list in 2020!
