BareMinerals New Ageless Collection Update
8 week update to the new #BareMinerals - Ageless Phyto-Retinol* Face Cream[products]#[FourStars] I really like this cream! I got this prior to its release and had the chance to use it for ~1 month prior to its release. I’ll start off by saying this—I’m 25 and I don’t have wrinkles, but I do have some fine lines forming on smile lines and my forehead. I definitely see this more so as preventative aging. By no means have my fine lines fully disappeared and now magically have baby skin. But with that said, I do see and feel a difference. I apply this only at night but my skin always looks great in the morning. It’s really hydrating, doesn’t break me out, and works great in my routine. The formula: This is a plant based formula that emulates retinol. This is what I love most about it. I tried The Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalanebut it made my face super oily and I had to be extra careful if I was using AHAs or other exfoliaters. This cream instead soaks in so nicely and I’m able to do my usual routine without any issues (I haven’t had any reactions using this). The cream is white and thick, but it spreads nicely on the face. There is a floral scent in it which at first I felt was strong, but now I’m used to it and I like it. For a nice moisturizing and anti-aging cream I’ll likely repurchase this when I run out. It retails for $62 USD but I think it’s worth it! I use this in conjunction with the bareMinerals - Skinlongevity Long Life Herb Serum(I apply this before my moisturizer, morning and night. It’s a great duo! Side note: They do have bareMinerals - Ageless Phyto-Retinol Neck Cream, bareMinerals - Ageless Phyto-Retinol Eye Cream, and bareMinerals - Ageless 10% Phyto-Retinol Night Concentrate— I haven’t tried any of these yet but they definitely interest me!

How I Keep My Nails Long & Strong!
I have been using QUIMICA ALEMANA - Esmalte Permanent Deodorant (bought on Amazon) for YEARS. Nothing else compares to this and nothing has been able to replace it for me! Here are my tips and tricks to getting beautiful nails: 🌹 Apply this as a base and top coat. I do one layer as a base (let dry for a few minutes), apply ~2 layers of color, then finish off with one more layer of this as a top coat. I know it looks milky in the bottle, but it’s dries totally clear and won’t change the polish color! 🌹 To grow your nails: Brush along the tips and underneath of your nail when applying as top coat. This seals in the colored polish and helps your nails be stronger and less likely to break. 🌹 Usually when I’m close to the end quarter of the bottle it’s too thick to use. That’s the one downfall of it, after opening it only has a lifespan of ~8-10 months (give or take), sadly it won’t last years! I use most of it before then but something to keep in mind! My current polish has been on my nails for about 2 weeks with hardly any chipping! I used to be prone to breaking my nails (I could get them long but they weren’t thick and strong), it’s now been YEARS since I’ve broken a nail up to my nail bed. I recommend this is to EVERYONE.

Clinique Acne Products That Are Worth Buying!
Part 3 of my skincare routine posts! This one is all about the Clinique products I use. I’m fully convinced these products have stopped/limited any acne. ✨CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion - I use this in both my morning and night routine after cleansing (check out previous post for my cleansers). It’s so nice and doesn’t irritate my skin at all! I believe this is in combo with my other products is helping lighten acne scars too. All I do is shake the bottle to mix the product, then apply to a cotton ball or pad and wipe on the face. I focus this more on areas where my acne usually pops up. Side note: I recently bought reusable cotton pads and this works great with them! ✨CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel - I also use this product for both day and night routines. I apply it after the clarifying lotion and usually let it sit for a few minutes before doing my next steps. I LOVE this stuff. It can be thinly applied on the whole face or just target certain areas (which is what I do). A little goes a long way so I only need 1-2 drops of this. The formula is strong and works great without bothering my skin or making it incredibly dry. It’s a bit pricey for the size, but trust me it’s worth it (and it lasts longer than you think!). For me personally, I found this works better than any benzoyl peroxide product. ✨CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - My skin is combo but it’s highly dependent on the season too. Winter I’m more dry, summer I’m more oily. This moisturizer is definitely a fav, perfect for summer! It soaks in and doesn’t sit on the face, so I’m not left with any oily residue. I use this only in the morning as I prefer a thicker, richer cream for night. Right now it’s winter here so I do have to use my old favorite Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer for certain super dry areas on my face (nose and sides of mouth), then I go over my whole face with the Clinique gel. **I highly recommend looking into their complete moisturizer line, they have so many ways to customize for your skin type.** Overall I recommend all these Clinique products! It’s a great brand that can cater to so many skin types.

My top 2 cleansers for acne/combo skin
Part 2 to my routine posts (see previous posts for full routine and in depth product description/reviews) My skin: I have combo skin with hormonal acne that is mostly on my cheeks and jawline. I have some bumps on my forehead and acne scarring on my cheeks. 🧚♀️Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser - I have been using this cleanser for close to a year now. It’s true to its name—ultra gentle on the skin! I have never had a reaction to it and the best part is it doesn’t dry out my skin. I have moved this to my PM routine since I’m now incorporating retinol to the PM. The only reason for knocking off one star is that it doesn’t lather much and sometimes I’m not sure it really is doing a deep cleanse. (If you wear makeup most days you might want a second cleanse). 🧚♀️LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin - Newish addition to the skincare family. I use this in the AM and I really am liking it. It seems to help minimize breakouts, lathers well, and feels like a clean slate in the morning. It works great in addition to my other acne products as well. Reason for 4 stars is that I’ve noticed it dries out the skin around my nose and corners of my mouth (so I add extra hydrating moisturizer there at the end), and it’s super liquidy—like as soon as I open the cap it comes pouring out. So I wish it had a pump or something a little less messy (I do worry about traveling with it). But overall worth it and well priced! Part 3 will feature my HOLY GRAIL Clinique products that you need if you want to control your acne!

Easy Makeup Routine and Milk Makeup Review
In the past 2 years I’ve made my makeup much more minimal and natural (not to say I don’t go all out for special events though!). Here’s my go to products! PS: I buy most things in mini because they go bad before I’d even come close to finishing them in full size! Plus it’s more travel friendly. ⭐️Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I have this in the color Werk. I LOVE IT, the color is great and it’s buildable. The reason for 4 stars is that I wish it was a little softer to blend and the smell is not great. TIP: Buy the mini versions! You’ll never get through a large one before it expires/goes bad. ⭐️Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer I believe this comes in one color but it’s great for warming up the face a little. I apply it on my cheek bones, forehead, and sometimes my jawline/sides of nose. I often use this on my eyelids too for a monochromatic look. 4 stars for same reason as the one above. —Both of these products are easy to use and are super travel friendly. You just need your finger tips to apply! 💩Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara I wanted to love this but after 2 failed tries, I just can’t. I bought the full size version when it first came out but after applying/drying, small black flecks would fall off my lashes onto my face/eyes. Recently I got the mini version for redemption but I still run into the same issues as well as it reactivating and becoming wet due to condensation from my face mask. This guy is just a no go. ⭐️URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara My new favorite mascara is this one! It makes my lashes look great and I haven’t had any issues with it! Totally recommend and it builds up nicely in 2-3 coats without making lashes clumpy. ⭐️KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner No other liner can compare. The brush on this makes the cleanest lines and it lasts all day. My only issue is how shiny it dries down to, I just wish it was more matte! 💩ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Gel It’s too thick and easily becomes clumpy. It looks heavy on the brow hairs and has a chalky finish. For some reason it’s incredibly difficult to take off with makeup remover, I feel like I’m scrubbing my brows off. Stick to Anastasia’s other brow products and pass on this one. I’m considering Glossier’s boy brow. My brows are blondish and not thick so open to recommendations too 😂 These few products make for a quick and easy natural look! I’m still on he hunt for a brow product and highlighter though! Would love to hear anyone else’s natural look favorites!

Review of Clinique’s clearing gel
I’ve decided to do a multi-part post where I review and breakdown the products in my everyday skincare routine (see first post for routine). This is Part 1! The spot treatment I’ve been using is CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel This has been a true game changer, especially with my hormonal acne. I bought this through Ulta when they had a special sale on Clinique products. I will admit when I purchased this I didn’t look at the size. It’s SMALL, like fits in my palm, mini, little bottle and it’s not necessarily cheap. But since I got it on “sale” I decided to still try it. I actually love the formulation and don’t mind the small packaging now (super easily to travel with!!), you also only need a very small amount. It’s a clear gel liquid that dries fast. I apply it only to problem areas (cheeks, jaw, upper forehead)/any new arising acne. I apply this after cleansing and use it in my my morning and night routine. It has a mild tingly/tight sensation when the skin is first soaking it in, but it isn’t uncomfortable at all. There’s a slight shine left on the skin after soaking in, but I apply my serums and moisturizer after this so it goes away. Since using this in addition to my usual routine my breakouts are super minimal and can be quickly and easily stopped in their tracks. I was getting terrible hormonal acne on my cheeks and jaw but I haven’t since using this! I 100% recommend to anyone looking for a better spot treatment. It’s well worth it! **Previously I used MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotion this stuff worked ok at first but I’d have to apply it every night and it would get on my pillow and really dry out my skin/make me itchy. Eventually I felt it was only drying my skin out and no longer providing any benefits.

OMG！🌟Best couple for acne
These two are the best couple of products for my acne-prone skin! I have been fighting acne since I was 16 and nothing has been able to clear my face totally. Until last month my dermatologist recommended SkinCeuticals serum and Differin Gel to me. After using them a few days a week for one month, it is very helpful for helping reduce breakouts and calm redness-prone skin. These two products really had made a difference and also seem to have clarifying qualities to it. Phyto Corrective Gel is a hydrating, soothing gel serum with botanical ingredients ideal for calming and hydrating skin. The key ingredient contains hyaluronic acid, cucumber, thyme, which help to soothe and calm skin. I think it does exactly what it claims. It calms the skin, reduces redness, is moisturizing and calming. I have been using it for more than a month, consistent night and day use is the key and not putting too much on because a little goes a long way. Best discoloration product ever! Differin Adapalene Gel, this is a great acne treatment. Prescription-strength retinoid provides the fastest results—you'll start to see changes in about a month. So it took only a fast 3~4 weeks until my skin was completely cleared, and I've never been more confident in my skin ever! I like that it absorbs easily when applied and does not irritate my skin. Since using the product regularly, I have seen a significant difference in my acne breakouts, and my skin is more even-toned. It is also smoother & softer.

Skincare for glass skin
These products are all made using 77.8% rice extract from South Korea. Rice is great for improving dark spots and acne scars, and making my skin look more luminous. The product forms a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss, eliminate dead skin cells and provide luster and moisturization to rebalance try and tired skin. The toner has niacinamide and the cream has ceramides and vitamin C and E to make my skin feel super nourished and hydrated. My skin feels an instant difference with all these products, giving me that glass skin glow! So I have been such a big fan is Skinceuticals for some time now, however, like most people, I cannot justify continuing to spend over $100 on one product! So I’m always on the lookout for products that will perform similar to theirs. My all time favorite product form Skinceuticals is of course, their GOAT serum, SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum So when I found out that there might be a serum out there that’s similar to that one for just a quarter of the price, you know I had to try it! And guys, it is a real dupe! timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum This product is actually slightly stronger than the Skinceuticals serum too! It has 5% more L-Ascorbic Acid as well as Vitamin E & Ferulic Acid! I have been using this serum for a little over a month, I use it day & night but always make sure I wear spf in the daytime because it makes you more susceptible to the sun. My skin has never looked better since using this product. I literally cannot recommend it enough! It facilitates in healthy cell turn over which in turn will decrease hyperpigmentation & will give you a more overall even tone. It isn’t greasy at all & absorbs so quickly! I only use 2 pumps & apply it on its own after hyaluronic acid, my FAB Wild Oat Toner & then I moisturize afterwards & I’m done! I can’t stress enough how much this serum has helped my skin! My face is so unbelievably bright & even, I get compliments on it all the time! After all of the products I have tried, I have finally found the absolute HOLY GRAIL! I am so thankful for this serum! You guys seriously have to give it a try! Oh & the best part?! It’s only $20 on the Timeless Skin website!! 💵 You literally cannot beat that! Thanks so much for reading my review & I hope you all are having a great Saturday! Talk to you guys soon 💖💋 @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask I love using this little renewing antioxidant hydration mask! This mask is perfect for the changing seasons and the changes happening to your skin! Ive been using it probably about twice a week due to covid and the dryness I’m getting around my mouth and cheeks (thanks to face masks 😷) it leaves you feeling hydrated and glowing, especially when it’s followed by a good skincare routine 😇💞✨ The mask feels so amazing, it’s warm on the skin and doesn’t leave your skin feel like an elastic band when you wash it off! This is my first jar ... it really goes a long way but I’ll definitely be buying this product again 🤩

Sample to Full Size - This Korean BB Nails it
This is my new favorite foundation for this season. First got it as a sample from Sephora, and just wen for a full size the following week. This is a Korean brand sold in Sephora. Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 I also find this BB has a slightly luminous finish that makes my skin look so fresh and lovely. My skin looks so flawless and it covers all my dark spots. This brand is pretty new to me. I started using it around a month ago. It wears flawlessly throughout the day. This is light, moisturizing coverage with the extra bonus of being SPF 45! It has a slight grey tone to it, but it’s surprisingly very flattering and blurs out the skin beautifully. I would say this foundation provides a light but build-able to medium coverage. It's almost a demi-matte finish? This is a medium coverage foundation. It really has made me skin glow and not in the sense of it’s a glowy, satin like foundation. It is also lightweight but still has medium buildable coverage. The formula is really nice. It’s thin as is feels breathable but still provides I would say ,medium coverage that is definitely buildable. It’s one of those “your skin but better” foundations. It doesn’t cling to dry patches. Depending on how you apply the foundation, it could be light to medium. This bb cream has a natural, skin like finish and can be used with your hands, a brush or a sponge to create a beautiful finish. I really like the formula, it t has hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture. It blends beautifully whether you’re using cream or powder products It’s non comedogenic so it won’t clog your pores or make your skin break out. If you have oil prone skin you may have to blot throughout the day and I can't for sure say you would probably love it because l'm not currently super oily, but if you're dry-normal-or just oily in the t-zone like I usually am, l'd recommend it Cons I would want them to make more shades. Not pricey it’s The packaging is really nice and classy. I would recommend this to all my dewy friends
