Halloween Glam Look 2020
Halloween looked a bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean costumes and makeup went out the window! This year I decided to try a glam look—with a little twist. Plus, it gave me an excuse to try some brand new products in my collection that I can’t wait to tell you about. Let’s start with the foundation of my look, brought to you by BECCA - Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation in the shade Alabaster. I got incredibly lucky on my last trip to Marshall’s and scored this AMAZINGLY full-coverage foundation for $12. (Yes, you read that right. Becca foundation for $12.) This is about one shade lighter than I would typically wear, which made it the perfect base for a death-inspired glam look. This product is the most full-coverage foundation I’ve ever used, and it didn’t budge all night. No creasing, no breaking apart (even under a mask), and no fading. The finish is matte, but because of the Alabaster shade it still gave a slight glow. I can’t say enough good things about this foundation. I can’t wait to wear it again to test with a less dramatic look. When you’re going full-coverage glam, priming for and setting your foundation is absolutely critical. Without these products, I think my look would have been a goner within a few hours: Too Faced - Hangover Primer I laid this primer down first because it really does wonders for my skin. It’s not quite as tacky as I needed it to be, but I knew it was my first line of defense with the heavy makeup I was applying—so I used it as the first of two primers. The second? URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Face Primer for its tacky finish. All Nighter is an incredible line, and the primer is no exception. Layered on top of the Hangover primer, it created the perfect canvas for my intense Halloween look. After laying down my primer and foundation, I used my ABSOLUTE - HD FLAWLESS LOOSE SETTING POWDER in Brightening Banana for my under eyes and high points, followed by URBAN DECAY - The Ultimate Brush Off Translucent Loose Setting Powder to set the rest of my face. (I don’t typically set my full face with powder, but it was a MUST with this look!) Finally, after I laid down my shadows I set my entire face with the ultimate OG: URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray Another brand new product I tried with my look is the EYLURE - Line & Lash Adhesive Eyeliner in black. Lash adhesive liners are becoming very popular lately, but the Eylure Lash & Line is by far the best I’ve used. The liner itself is an extremely pigmented black, and the adhesive held onto my falsies all night without a single adjustment. This product beats all the other lash adhesives in my collection, and for $10, you really can’t beat it. Want to know more about this look? Drop a comment below for my lip and shadow details!👇🏻👇🏻 😘

Sand and sky masks
✨ Super Bounce Mask- It is packed with Vitamin C (Kakadu plum), antioxidants (Autralian Emu apple and Glow berries), 5 different types of Hyaluronic acid, Jojoba oil. It has a bouncy jelly like texture but applies well on the skin and gives cooling sensation. I love how it leaves my skin hydrated, plump and soft. . . ✨ Porefining Face Mask- It is a 4-in-1 formula that detoxifies, invigorates, refines and brightens the skin. It is a blend of Australian Pink Clay,Kaolin (detoxifies), Kelp and Witch Hazel (refines), Mangosteen and Pomegranate (rich in antioxidants), Kakadu Plum fruit extract (rich in Vitamin C). The mask is cool when first applied. There was slight tingling sensation but no discomfort. This mask is great for drawing out impurities and clean pores. Of all the clay mask I have used, I find it the best as it is not very harsh, super light and easy to wash off. It comes with a brush which makes the application really easy and smooth.

But this mask was not painful to peel off at all. Having an oily t-zone and because the mask has fragrance/peel oils, (fragrance+oil=irritation), I have only used this mask to the dry areas of my face. Unlike other products, this does leave your skin feeling hydrated and plump. Having the niacinamide in the ingredient list, this can also impart some brightening benefits. This mask is a little messy to apply with your fingers. Would be nice if it came with a spatula to scoop out the mask. Overall, i think it’s a decent mask for its price. Something that would be fun doing but would not be great for consistent use as it can potentially be irritating. —————————- 𝗪𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭? No. 𝗪𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞? No. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 2/5⭐️⭐️
Updated Hair routine! Added new Drugstore items
I was looking into Walmart few months back for some affordable shampoos. I picked these up and let me tell you, these products have been a great pick for my 2B curly hair! My hair is silky, smooth and shiny now. I have really oily scalp (Comes from my oily face) and I really need a shampoo that cleanses the oil while keeping my ends frizzfree. These are solving the issue 👍 1. @suave Daily clarifying shampooSuave - Essentials Daily Clarifying Shampoo - This is amazing. I didn't expect it to work so gently on my hair. It cleanses oil off my scalp without over drying it. Also, I haven't had dandruff and flakey scalp in years, this didn't bring it either. It has very gentle Marine (Aqua) and sweet smell to it, nothing overwhelming. I like it's clear blue gel texture and it lathers quite well. And if you experience your hair a bit too dry the next product will help you with that. 2. Pantene 2 minute miracle PANTENE - 3 Minute Miracle Daily Moisture Renewal Daily Conditioner - This conditioner is a cheap dupe for many High end, luxury conditioners out there. This may not be that out performing but this definitely gives your hair a botox in an affordable price. It glides on hair like butter and when you wash your hair after 5-7 minutes, your hair will be silky soft, detangled and frizz free. This also doesn't have any overwhelming fragrance. 3. Sauve Tropical coconut Nourishing shampooSuave - Essentials Tropical Coconut Infused With Coconut Extract & Vitamin E Shampoo - Works similar to other one 4. Equate Scalp care Exfoliating and detoxifying shampoo equate - Scalp Care Exfoliating & Detoxifying Shampoo - This is an interesting product as it is an exact Dupe (inspired and taken the idea directly from Briogeo Scalp revival Micro - exfoliating shampoo) . I bought this because I wanted to try if there's any drugstore scalp scrub that works in cleaning the scalp dirt, oils and dry shampoo and I found this. I immediately grabbed this as It claims to be exact dupe of Briogeo one. I agree. It is quite similar to the Briogeo shampoo which gently scrubs scalp as a shampoo. This has Mint in it so it feels cooling on scalp when you use it. It lathers quite well and has micro beads. I really enjoyed this product. If you want a cheap scalp scrub and a Dupe for Briogeo scalp exfoliator, this is the one. 5. Nelson J Beverly hills Moisture healing mask nelson j BEVERLY HILLS - Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask - This you can get at walmart for 10.95 and it's amazing. This gives a high end hair spa feel to your every wash. This makes my hair super soft, Shiny and silky. This is creamy in texture and nourishes hair in just few minutes. You can see how my locks and hair texture is smooth and silky after using this mask. You can use this as a hair spa treatment before shampoo or after shampoo as conditioner. I really enjoyed using it. These all picks are affordable and are working great for me. 💖

💜Tatcha Brand Spotlight 💜

I honestly can say I love everything! It was amazing on my skin! 😊I love Tatcha products, makeup & skincare & I love the way my skin looks & feels after I use them! My least favorite out of all of them, would be the water cream, I just don’t think it is as hydrating as I would like in a moisturizer since I have dry/sensitive skin. I prefer the dewy skin cream, deep cleanse & Violet-C serum! My skin soaked up all of the amazing ingredients for a super glowy look. I defiantly would like to purchase the full size dewy skin cream, my skin loves that! It doesn’t break out or irritate my skin, it’s super gentle yet effective & really moisturizes my skin. 💜Price Vs. Size? •Dewy Skin cream - $68 for 1.7oz, worth it for me! •Water Cream - $68 for 1.7oz, not worth it for me •Violet-C Serum - $88 for 1oz, worth it! •Deep Cleanse - $38 for 5oz, worth it!!
