DO NOT RECOMMEND
I saw this product on tik tok and thought it would be awesome for my little sister who doesn't want to shave yet. SOFTSHEEN CARSON LABORATORIES - Shaving Powder Fragrant We just used it on our armpits to try it out. We only put a small amount on and waited for 5 minutes as instructed. Everything was fine until we took it off with a cold damp cloth. NONE of my hair came off. Almost all of my sisters did. However her armpits are now red and burn a little. Mine are in so much pain where my armpits crease. My skin is not usually sensitive however my sisters is. Anyone have any recommendations for shaving alternatives. My hair is thick and doesn't remove easily and I tend to get razor burn and nicks really easily.
SOFTSHEEN CARSON LABORATORIES-Shaving Powder Fragrant
All natural clay mask!!
Me and my boyfriend tried this face mask today. I've only used it once so far but it has made my skin so smooth. I also have super oily skin and my pores are super large and it minimized both of them. I got it at Walmart for cheep. It comes as a jar of powder and you just mix a tablespoon of it with water or vinegar until it's a paste. Personally I mixed it with 1 part vinegar and two parts water.
My Top 3 Products for “Healing” Eczema
The truth is healing eczema isn’t as simple as applying on creams and ointments, alone. It’s a whole process, from stress management to better nutrient intake to looking into underlying conditions, like thyroid issues. However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t find the right skincare to manage eczema. Over the years, I’ve tried various products and topical remedies, and though it can be tricky to sift through all the right formulas... I have finally found the right ones for me! Hydrate with Corpa Flora - Antidote HB5 Hydration which contains hydration-boosting propanediol, hyaluronic acid, pro vitamin B5 and promoting collagen, making the skin more firm. This really helped me with dry patches on my face, I don’t get those anymore! 💦 Moisturize & Soothe with GRAYDON - The Putty which contains restorative ingredients, such as zinc, hemp oil, turmeric, manuka honey. It’s so soothing, I noticed changes within a few days and only needed to apply it twice a day vs some other eczema solutions that require constant reapplication due to excessive dryness. 🤗 Sanitize & Repair with purO3 - Ozonated Olive Oil which is a One ingredient powerhouse. Honestly this is my holy grail y’all! The only reason it’s a 4 ⭐️ is due to the strong scent, which my partner doesn’t enjoy sleeping next to when I use it 😅 but ozonated oil is honestly the one for stopping skin infections, like Staphylococcus aureus in its tracks, and on top of that, repairing the skin so the S. aureus doesn’t repenetrate the skin. I’ve been using this one for years! 🙏🏽 What are some of your favourite eczema solutions? 💞
Corpa Flora-Antidote HB5 Hydration
This is the Walnut Shell Booty Scrub from Anese and I am in love with it! It pairs great with their Collagen Booty Mask - they really work great together for brightening and tightening! 😍 . It feels just like sand and when you use it to scrub your skin it is the most amazing sensation. It really feels like it’s exfoliating the skin without being too rough. I like my exfoliants to FEEL like they are working. 😊 . I haven’t just been using this on the booty, but where I have stretch marks from pregnancy and pretty much, you know... everywhere else! I really do love it. Unfortunately, I am almost out since I have been using a generous amount of it every time I get in the shower. 😐
I bring to you a body scrub from rabot1745beauty. The texture of this body scrub is different to any other I have ever tried !! It feels like a sticky hunny but turns to a serum texture when it melts into the skin. It is simply stunning and deserves it’s own post !! The scrub contains the shell of coconuts, cacao and Almonds sourced from St Lucia which polish and exfoliate the skin!while bringing you a tropical island vibe. The benefits of exfoliating are :- brighter skin as well as the help of the appearance of scars, stretch marks and cellulite.
Affordable Night Routine for Oily Skin
Here is my night routine! It is pretty similar to my morning routine(sorry about the cluster of products in the picture i tried my best to tag all the products). This a pretty affordable night routine for someone who used to deal with a lot of hormonal acne. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser Just like my morning routine, I use the Cetaphil cleanser. Sometimes i will use a bit more at night depending on if i wear makeup or not. Also i forgot to take a picture but to take off my makeup I use the GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover on a cotton pad. I try to stay away from makeup wipes and micellar water is super gentle! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Again, just like my morning routine I use 2 drops of this after cleansing. I seriously recommend this product it’s cheap and very effective! Also make sure not to touch the dropper to your face! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution So I am sure most people have heard of this amazing product. This is my 5th week using it and I can definitely see a difference in my skin! I use it once a week every Friday night. I skip the niacinamide because apparently it’s not good to mix these 2 in the same night/morning. I’m not sure if that’s backed up but just in case I skip this step every Friday night. I put 2 drops onto my fingers and gently spread it across my face. I make sure to avoid the eye area. Leave it on for 10 minutes and no longer. My scars have started to disappear and my skin feels incredible afterwards. I do also use a prescribed acne medication after this step just like my morning routine. I obviously can’t tag it but if you are struggling with acne and are able to, consider seeing a dermatologist! CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This is by far my all-time favorite moisturizer! I use the ultra-lightweight one that’s oil-free. It doesn’t feel super heavy but makes me skin feel very hydrated and soft. I have never used any other night moisturizer because I know I will always come back to this one. ESTĒE LAUDER - DayWear Eye Cooling Anti-Oxidant Moisture GelCreme I then do eye cream. I’m not super picky when it comes to eye creams as long as they are not heavy. This product is kinda random when I got it but it definitely makes my eyes feel hydrated which is all I care about. Briogeo - B. Well Organic + Cold-Pressed 100% Castor Oil I cant say enough good things about this product. I started using it about a year ago on my eyelashes and eyebrows. I use a clean spoolie and my eyelashes have grown so long. I naturally have thick eyebrows but i will kinda run the excess on them. I still have my 1st bottle and I am surprised I haven’t run out yet since I use this every night. Any castor oil works but this one comes in a bottle!
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
I bought a bunch of The Ordinary and here is my fav👍🏻&meh👎🏻
I bought a bunch of The Ordinary just to see if they are actually good. Here are my favs and mehs. Fav: 💓💓💓 1) The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% Effects: Anti-oxidating and brightens skin complexion Evaluation: I have used SkinCeuticals PREVENT C E Ferulic serum in the past, but it didn't feel as good as The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%. This Resveratrol is a very niche product. Someone gave it to me but I didn't care too much about it at first. After using it for a while, I realized it brightened my dull skin. How To Use It: It has an oily texture, so you can treat it as a serum if you have dry or combination-dry skin and you can also mix it with a toner if you have oily skin. 2) The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Effects: It cleans acne and scrubs off dead skin cells, and it's great as a daily chemical peel Evaluation: It's a little pungent but the results are really good. After using this toning solution, the bumps on my nasal wings are almost gone. How To Use It: I first used it 4 times a week, but went on to use it 2 to 3 times a week when my skin condition improved. After washing my face, I'll dab some of this toning solution on a cotton pad and wipe it across my face and neck. Avoid using it around your eyes and use it only once a day. 3) The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Effects: Reduces swelling and dark circles Evaluation: It does a great job at helping to reduce swelling. I went to bed late the night before which gave me a swollen face and eyes, so I used it on my entire face. You can see an obvious reduction in swelling in just a short time. How To Use It: Normally, I use it as an eye cream. I only use it on my entire face for special occasions. 4) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA Effects: Eliminates bumps and dead skin cells, and can be used as a daily chemical peel Evaluation: Lactic acid is much more gentle than glycolic acid but the result is not as obvious. Lactic acid also feels better to use compared with glycolic acid, so I'll definitely repurchase it. If you have sensitive skin, you can start with a 5% concentration of lactic acid. How To Use It: I'll dab some of this lactic acid on a cotton pad and wipe it across my face and neck but not around my eyes. I also avoid using it on my cheeks. Meh: 💔💔💔 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Effect: Whitening Evaluation: I applied sufficient sunscreen but still didn't see any effect in terms of skin brightening. It also becomes pasty, so I won't repurchase it again! I hope this is helpful. How do you like The Ordinary? 😜

Now I’m a Believer
A good friend recommended these bad boys to me (she uses more intense ones with salicylic acid because she’s more acne prone and less sensitive) and I was skeptical but needed a spot treatment for my occasional pimples. These are amazing! I forgot to take a before/after but I went to bed with a knot coming in on my chin and woke up and all the redness and pain was gone! They also keep you from picking (yay!). I’d highly recommend these to anyone who gets the occasional spot but would probably go for stronger patches if you get intense acne. These are gentle and made with tea tree oil, witch hazel, and lentil and parsley extracts. Salicylic acid is going to be much better on those more acne prone but if you’re quite reactive/sensitive give these a try first! They’re also non-drying for my dry people. alba BOTANICA - Acne Pimple Patch
