I bought this mascara after seeing a post about it on Facebook. I love trying out new mascaras but rarely do I find one that I will use regularly like my beloved tarte - Maneater Mascara However this stuff is good. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara It gave my lashes so much volume & length they literally doubled in size! My lashes are already pretty long to begin with but this made them look amazing. The photo is after applying only one coat so I can only imagine how good they will look after two or three coats! It also didn’t clump up my lashes at all. I applied it really quickly & lazily too because I was in a rush to get ready & I was still amazed! I honestly think this is going to be my new daily mascara. It is waterproof but not the annoying kind that leaves your eyes completely black when you go to take it off. It came off really easily with my POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream which is what I’ve always used to remove my eye makeup, since I was a kid! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

✔ this is the natural blush i have ever used ...Not looked like artificial look just natural ✔they're very silky and easy to pick up with a brush. ✔I love dipping my brush in applying it generously to my cheeks and I don't want to feel like I have to be careful to avoid clown cheeks. ✔ I love the finish on these...they're not completely matte but they aren't shimmery either. ✔Overall, I'm really pleased with the new Maybelline FIT me! blushes. It’s all about the lighting ladies and gents! You neeeeeed to manipulate the lighting in your surroundings AND on your face. How? Highlight, brightening, and contour. For under eyes use a brightening color corrector that reflects light. I use BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector and it works really well to help out my dark circles. It brightens with the peachy tone and has a sight shimmer to reflect light. Really great product! I also use MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer which is such an affordable and great product. Can crease sometimes so less is more! It really helps conceal and hydrate my under eyes. Lastly I use the tarte - Park Ave Princess Waterproof Face & Body Bronzer (the palette version) to contour and accentuate my features. A great tip is to place the contour HIGH on the cheekbones for a lifted look. Add some yellow highlight powder under your eyes and some highlighter on the top of your cheekbone. 💋🤍 #cheriepartner

I have been using tarte shape tape for years, and loved it! The only problem for me was the price point. It retails for $27, and sometimes I don’t feel like spending that much. I did some research, and came across this concealer by Maybelline. It claims to be a “full coverage under-eye concealer.” It was only $8 so I picked it up. After using a high end concealer for years, I expected this concealer to not work that great in comparison. I have combination skin, a small amount of acne, and regular sized dark circles. And this product really went above and beyond! My face is naturally red/pink, and this evened out my skin tone completely! I haven’t broken out from it either. It is easy application, blends well, and looks flawless, wether I have foundation on under it or not. I would not consider it full coverage, however it is very buildable and easy to achieve full coverage if desired. I know everyone’s skin is different, so this product may not work the same way it did for me. However, if you love Shape Tape, then you’ll find this is a great dupe!✨

man oh man. there was quite the fiasco in the shipping for this box. but i finally got it! so, what was inside my boxycharm for december?! #Iconic London - Blaze Chaser Face Palette[products]#[ThreeStars] a new to me brand. not super impressed with this face palette, but i’ve only played around with it a couple of times so far. retails for $55. GLAMNETIC - Black Liquid Magnetic Liner another new to me brand. includes magnetic liner and a pair of their “bella” lashes. however, i don’t wear lashes or eyeliner, so i’ll be gifting this! retails for $63. tarte - Maneater Mascara does anyone know if this comes in a waterproof formula?! i have only tried this once but i’m OBSESSED. i’m not one to fawn over mascara, because they all seem pretty similar, but THIS one 👏🏻 retails for $23. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick new to me brand! love the formula and feel of this, not sure on the color for me personally. retails for $19. MakeUp Eraser - The Sponge i haven’t used this sponge yet, but the idea of a washable sponge is brilliant. i’m curious to see how the sponge performs, and i love that you can literally throw it in the laundry to wash it! retails for $18. total retail value: $178

Elf makes some of my favorite products. I recently purchased #Elf - Mint Melt primer[products]#[FiveStars] and have really been liking its staying power. But I have aging skin and enlarged pores. I have a really good skin care routine but I tend to be extra dry in the winter. Thanks to TikTok, I get to follow some really great MUA’s and this hack has been going around. I just had to try it. e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer has been a cult favorite for some time, but if you mix it with the mint melt primer, not only does it blur pores and fine lines, but then you make up stays all day. Who doesn’t want that?!?!? I gave it a try and am so pleased with the results. I mixed the two in my palm and the mixture glided on smoothly and rubbed in so nicely. I gave it a few minutes to dry down before I applied my foundation (I’m wearing a sheer coverage foundation in the picture above). I can’t wait to try this mixture with a medium or full coverage foundation to see how it looks!

I’ve been using the Maybelline Matte Ink lip color for a year and I love it. This product was made for women who do it all and want to look fabulous while doing it. The applicator has a pointed tip so you can easily outline your lips first before filling them in, which is a win considering this stuff will stay wherever you put it...like it or not. I apply the product to DRY lips, then blot until the product is no longer transferring to the tissue. Hello beautiful people! I always think of myself more of a makeup junkie than a skin care junkie. This being said, i’m going to share some of my favorite primers with you guys! NYX - Bare With Me Cannabis Primer the first time i applied this primer, i was a little iffy about how it basically made me look like the tin man. I guess that’s where the “radiant” comes in lol. i then proceeded to do the rest of my makeup and it just gave me the most beautiful “glow from within” look. it did not break down my foundation, my powders, etc. it’s perfect for the “no makeup” makeup look. it smells so good as well, so no doubt that it’s fragranced, HOWEVER, Nyx claims that it’s sensitive-skin friendly. benefit - The POREfessional: Hydrate Primer when this came out i was beyond excited to try it! i was a fan of the og Porefessional primer, but i found that it made me look a bit cakey. this primer’s consistency is a lot more smooth, and it leaves my skin looking juicy while still filling up them big ass pores that i have. I usually just put this where my pores are more visible, so the big area under my eyes, by the sides of my nose, and the space between my brows. for the rest of my face, i use the Nyx primer i mentioned above. whenever i do this combination, i always have a good makeup day! Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer i would consider this to be more of my “hardcore” primer. when i know that i would be wearing makeup for hours or I’m having a night out with friends, i bring out this bad boy right here. i love how it just makes everything stay but at the same time it makes your skin look juicy! (can yall tell I’m just obsessed with making my skin look hydrated lol). The only problem i had with this one is sometimes it can make your foundation look patchy, especially when you missed that ~window~ mark where it’s dry and wet at the same time. easily fixable, tbh, so I’m not really mad at it! e.l.f. - Luminous Putty Primer ELF. what a brand. they’re constantly giving us underrated products over and over at SUCH a low price tag. this primer is more of a “I’m late and I’m hurrying for something I just need to look poreless and juicy” vibe for me. it’s like the Nyx and Poreless primer fused together. the only problem with this primer is that it does tend to pill up on my skin (i HATE when that happens), so when i know that I’m just having a light makeup day, this is what I’m grabbing. also, the “luminous” part for them seem to mean “glitter” as well. I honestly don’t mind it, but if you hate actual specks of glitter on your face, you might want to steer away from this one. and that’s it! i like the more ~radiant~ primers because i find that it makes me look more natural/dewy throughout the day, rather than a cakey mess. Before the snow hit in the north east, I had to hit up Marshall’s so I had some new products to play with. This shopping trip I found makeup products from Becca and Milk to try out. As with any trip to Marshall’s it’s hit or miss with products and shade ranges, so I know this foundation is a bit too light, but the undertone was right. There were also a few other things I wanted, but their packaging was open and the products were clearly touched. So let’s dive in to what I used for this look (3rd pic, I don’t use any filters/beauty mode). Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I like the powdery finish it leaves on my skin. I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide how much I like it. BECCA - Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation I’m generally not a fan of full coverage foundation. But this does not feel heavy or caking on my skin (yes, it’s a shade too light). I applied it pretty lightly, but you can easily build this up to you preferred coverage level. BECCA - Limited Edition Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. I usually only use powder lightly under my eyes o set my concealer, but this was so light that I used it all over my face. It did not settle into my fine lines or make me look dry (aging skin). I applied with a velour puff and used a fluffy brush to remove the excess. Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek I’m a big fan of cream products and the fact that this does double duty, lips and cheeks, makes it a winner in my book. Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara I’ve been dying to try this mascara (if you’ve read any of my previous posts, you know I’m on an unending hunt for the perfect mascara). But I couldn’t justify the price tag if it was just going to end up in the “meh” pile of mascaras I already have. It gave a great first impression, but I’ll have to use it a few more times before I decide to invest in a full sized tube. For under $40, I got to try some high end products that are usually out of my budget. I love Marshall’s for exactly this reason! What is your favorite Marshall’s find?
