Skincare routine for my sensitive skin!!
My skin type: sensitive & acne-prone skin · STEP1: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser I have used it for a month, and I seriously love this stuff, super gentle on my sensitive skin! It's a silky formula that leaves my skin very soft. I only had a few minor breakouts, but nothing like I had before. The bottle is pretty big, so it'll last me a while, but I'll be repurchasing this once I run out! · STEP2: Darphin - INTRAL Toner I have sensitive skin and have always had adverse reactions to toners, so I skip them. However, I love the intral cleansing milk, so I was curious about this toner and saw such good reviews about it helping others with their redness, so I asked for a trial size of it from a store. After using it each day, I had to buy it. It's easily the most gentle and soothing toner I've ever used. It reduces my redness and feels calming to put on. · STEP3: CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum I love this serum! Whenever my face is irritated, I apply it before bed, and by the next day, my skin is smooth, and the serum helps to calm the breakout or tired skin. It is gentle, hydrates, and works well for sensitive skin. It did not fix my dark spots altogether, but it does even out the skin a little. Give it a try :)

I would rather get coal than Caudalie SOS Serum
CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum First lets talk about the inclusion of fragrance-a cheap smelling fragrance at that. Second, lets talk about the fact that the serum most closely resembles a bodily fluid. Like why am I putting phlegm on my face? Third, lets talk about how the directions say apply to face without indicating how much to use. Very helpful. Finally, lets talk about how, after only the second use this morning, my skin started itching and then started burning and then turned a very attractive redish pink color. They say it is safe for sensitive skin but, quite honestly, I think they should pay me for the 20 dollars I had to put out for the SoonJung Barrier Relief Moisturizer because it is hours later and my skin still hurts even after washing the product off. In conclusion, if you like your moisture barrier intact I would avoid this product. I know many of you have had good experiences with it but this is the worst product experience I have had in ages. PS Pic is from their website.
SOS Thirst Quenching Serum
This was my first time trying Caudalie. Usually once I’m set with a products I love, I really don’t branch out for a while. Especially if their working ya know? But I’m on this kick where I’m obsessed with buying these kits 🙌🏼 This one made its way to being one of my favorites. I’m definitely going to try some other products of theirs :) CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum It’s an oil-free serum packed with hyaluronic acid to treat, hydrate, and soothe dehydrated and irritated skin. It’s best for normal to dry skin, it’s so hydrating. I only use it on my face about twice a week and on my neck every night. It’s such a light weight serum, feels like water when it goes on. It’s definitely safe for sensitive skin!! If you are the Sahara desert dry, you need this boo!! 😉💕 Highlighted Ingredients: Organic Grape Water: Moisturizes and soothes. Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and plumps. Olive Squalane: Deeply moisturizes, heals cracked or chapped skin, and soothes eczema and excessive dryness 💞
4 Do’s for Keeping Acne Away
1. Cleaning is important!!! The vital part of cleaning is to choose the right cleaning products. Usually I would recommend makeup-remover oil or balm, rather than lotion, to more effective cleaning. I use SHU UEMURA Refreshing Cleansing oil, to remove makeup effectively with light texture. Really suitable for summer!!! 2. Try acidic products Acidic products must be the angels to acne-prone face cuz acid can remove the dead skin and clean up your pores, than reduce pimples coming out. If you have the same season-sensitive skin like me, def recommend u to have a try onpixi - Glow Tonic, the price is acceptable ($18/125ml). The glycolic acid inside is 5% which is mild but effective. Strongly recommend to sensitive skin!! 3. Don’t touch your acne too often!! We carry lots of bacteria on our hands that would contaminate our faces causing more pimples!! Scary! 4. Pls ask help for doctors if it’s really bad Doctors could give u much more effective treatments to deal with your pimples, skincare products could only help to improve some part of problems, not all!!!
Review my routine!
Hello everyone, I am going to show you my routine every night, I hope you can read it and my thoughts will help you! remember each product works differently depending on your skin type. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 1️⃣ I start by washing my face with fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I really enjoy using this cleanser, It is my favorite since it leaves my skin super clean and refreshing, it has a cucumber smell that I love. 〰️ 〰️ 2️⃣ my next step is to spray YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha , I use this once I get my face clean and let it dry, also this is wonderful as a last step in my skin care routine in case I do a chemical peel or an enzyme powder to exfoliate. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 3️⃣ my third step I only do it when I have dark spots ( thanks to my hormonal acne) on my skin, and I really like Kiehl's - Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution It feels super light, dries very quickly and I have noticed a difference in the area of my cheek where I have had dark spots. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 4️⃣ my fourth step is to apply my moisturizer GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer This is my favorite light weight moisturizer. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, it doesn’t freak out my oily T zone but still leaves my dry skin feeling nourished. 〰️ 〰️ 〰️ 5️⃣ don't forget to hydrate your lips 👄 so lastly I use LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Leaves my lips super hydrated, soft, I am so happy with this product, since I started using it the skin on my lips does not break like Before. if you got to last part, I hope it helps you some of my routine. 👏🏻 Thank you!
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE-Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha
A step-by-step guide for anyone from beginners to skin care experts. You can individualize it into your own routine, depending on your skin type, needs, and desires. Personally, I only adhere to 5 steps. I skip toners, eye treatment, and masks as it can be redundant at times and I add exfoliating 1-3 times a week on top of everything. I also highly recommend adding serum day and night. (Ex. The American skincare routine is usually 5 steps, whereas, the Korean skincare routine is up to 10 steps.) As you can see, we can all personalize our own guide but I recommend following the order even when you skip a step or two for the most advantageous skincare results. Image Credit: IG @goflawlessnow
Post Accutane Night Time Skin Care Routine
While on accutane I had a very simple skincare routine to allow the medication to do its thing. I’m 7 months post Accutane, and my face is still pimple free. Yay! My skin care concerns at this time is discoloration/dark spots and minimal scarring on one of my cheeks. In this routine I am using the Fresh Soy cleanser to cleanse. It’s so important to make sure you’re thoroughly cleansing your face so that the remaining products can properly penetrate the skin. I use esthetician Nayamka Roberts-Smith (@LABeautyologist)’s 60 second rule when cleansing. Cleansing your face with your fingers for 60 sec allows the cleanser ingredients to do their job. This method helps to soften the skin & dissolve sebum blockages a lot better. I then follow up with applying a hydrating toner (Laniege Cream Skin toner and moisturizer) to my face with my hands. Then 2-3x a week I go in with the exfoliating serum ( The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid 10% + HA serum) to minimize texture and uneven skin tone. Mandelic acid is gentle and works great on hyperpigmentation on people with deeper skin tones. To end it all off, I use the Kate Somerville recovery cream. Cleanser - fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash Toner - LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer Serum -The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA Moisturizer - Kate Somerville - DeliKate Recovery Cream Pro Tip: Wash your hands before washing your face!🧖🏾♀️ #CherieCreator

How to Treat Dreaded ‘Maskne’ 🖤
With everything going on right now I know a lot of people (myself included right now) are wearing masks for 8+ hours. With this new addition to daily life a new problem I’ve been hearing a lot about right now is ‘maskne’ or mask acne. With your mask on your face all day causing irritation it’s perfectly normal to experience break outs. When I do get really bad break outs I tend to simplify my routine down to these basic steps: (disclaimer: I myself have oily, acne prone skin that is mainly grade 2) 1.) Cleanse - FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser A gel cleanser is best for oily skin. It’s also going to be best to get all the sebum, debris, and other gross stuff you may have under your mask from breathing in it all day. This one is gentle but effective without stripping your skin. 2.) Prep - GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum I always use niacinamide as a prep step. My favorite niacinamide serum is from Good Molecules. It’s only $6 and it absorbs really nicely into the skin without feeling sticky. This is going to help regulate oil control so you’re not over producing, calm down any inflammation your new break out may be experiencing, and help heal any pigmentation that might be left behind as the break out heals. 3.) Spot Treat - GEORGETTE KLINGER - Acne Spot Relief Then I go in with a spot treatment. I really like the Georgette Klinger spot treatment because it’s cream formula absorbs really well into the skin to dry out the break out properly without damaging the surrounding skin. It contains both salicylic acid and lactic acid so while it helping to shed dead skin cells from the face so sebum doesn’t get trapped underneath to create more break outs the salicylic acid goes deep into the pores and cleans it out. Another great option is the Clinique Acne Solutions Gel. 4.) Moisturize - FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya You always want to seal a routine with a good moisturizer. For oily skin I recommend a gel (with dry you’ll want a cream). This will help keep your skin hydrated while it’s healing without feeling too heavy. If you use too heavy of a cream with oily skin you have the potential of clogging the pores and with the mask on top it will just make things worse (With dry skin you don’t have to worry about this as much).
